1	Du håller mig som ingen annan, i en värld som är hopplös och sjuk : En analys av lesbisk närvaro i tre texter som behandlar Karin Boyes person och författarskap Stormen Gustavsson, Kajsa January 2016 (has links) This essay investigates how silence is used as a way to speak about, and give presence to what cannot be named; the female homosexuality and the lesbian. The analysis consists of three texts that are reoccurring in Swedish literature research about Karin Boye, Swedish modernist, her person and writings. By using close reading as a method, I investigate how the three texts corresponds with words connected to female homosexuality, focusing on lesbianism. By placing the lesbian as the first, and not the Other, I investigate how lesbianism is present in the three texts, and how they read and use silence as a frame for talking about what cannot be named. I use queer theory as a springboard for claiming this lesbian presence. My aim with this essay is to show how lesbianism can be read even without the explicit use of certain words, and by doing so, showing how it is not just a well of loneliness. 2	Tyst diplomati : En jämförande fallstudie som skildrar den tysta diplomatin som förhandlingsstrategi i konfliktlösningar Damberg, Elin January 2015 (has links) Through an older study auspices, awakened an interest to study how the statesmen manage the world order. The answer has its starting point in diplomacy. This paper will focus on the most criticized and controversial branch of diplomacy: the quiet diplomacy. The quiet diplomacy is a deemed confidential and flexible method that is adopted for particularly sensitive conflict resolutions, which takes place at an intergovernmental level. The main purpose of this paper is to examine the diplomatic process in three journalistic cases. Although, these cases are different in one significant standing, one resemblance may be noticed. All cases encompass a quiet diplomacy. Have the quiet diplomacy developed opportunities or obstacles in the various mediation activities? Theories in the form of analysis dimensions serve as the framework in this paper and are tasked to derive the concept through the respective cases. 3	Nanny Hammarström i liv, text och reception – en biografi Hansson, Jan January 2023 (has links) In this biographical study of the Finno-Swedish author Nanny Hammarström (1870 - 1953), a forgotten authorship is presented. Hammarström's work is placed in a literary and cultural context with the help of a comprehensive review of how the authorship is described in overview works on literature, reviews, and articles. The study concludes with an analysis of the reception regarding some of Hammarström's works with anthropomorphic (zoomanic) subjects as protagonists. / I denna biografiska studie över den finlandssvenska författaren Nanny Hammarström (1870 – 1953) presenteras ett bortglömt författarskap. 4	Diabetes typ 3? : Molekylärfysiologiska länkar och samband från den samlade litteraturen / Alzheimer’s disease – Diabetes type 3? : The molecular physiology and related links from the comprehensive literature Nicklagård, Erik January 2011 (has links) Alzheimers sjukdom (AD) är den vanligaste formen av demens och kännetecknas av intracellulärt neurofibrillärt trassel (NFT) bestående av proteinet tau och extracellulära plack, uppbyggda av peptiden amyloid beta (Aβ). En växande skara studier har börjat peka mot att AD är en hjärnspecifik typ av diabetes. Insulinresistens följt av hyperinsulinemi och hyperglykemi är kännetecken för diabetes mellitus typ 2 (DMT2) och har visat sig vara en riskfaktor för AD. Insulin, ett hormon som kontrollerar glukoshomeostasen i perifera nervsystemet (PNS) och är viktigt för minne och inlärning, transporteras över blod-hjärnbarriären i en mättnadsbar transportmekanism och dess koncentration i centrala nervsystemet (CNS) minskar vid DMT2 och AD. Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), ett neuronskyddande protein som minskar ogynnsam β-sekretasklyvning av amyloid precursor protein (APP) i amyloidkaskadhypotesen, minskar i koncentration i hjärnan när mycket insulin transporteras in i CNS. γ-sekretas ökar sin aktivitet på APP vid höga halter kolesterol som är vanligt vid DMT2, Aβ fungerar då som en negativ inhibitor till HMG-Coa reduktas (HMGR), enzymet som bildar kolesterol och kan därmed reglera kolesterolhalterna. Regleringssystem för Aβ i blod-hjärnbarriären (BBB) som p-GP, LRP-1 och RAGE rubbas vid DMT2. Aβ och insulin delar samma degraderingssystem, insulin degrading enzyme (IDE), som reglerar halterna Aβ och insulin. Dessutom har Aβ oligomerer visat sig kunna bryta ned insulinreceptorer (IR). Vidare har läkemedel mot diabetes visat sig lindra demens hos AD patienter. I den här rapporten gås de molekylärfysiologiska sambanden igenom i detalj.
