Salientando asserções principais da Fenomenologia do Espírito sobre a categoria da individualidade, este estudo pretende avaliar o papel da literatura na compreensão da assim chamada efetivação da consciência-de-si racional através de si mesma. Na primeira parte, a grande obra de Hegel é apresentada como uma tentativa de destituir o estatuto transcendental da subjetividade na filosofia moderna. Na segunda, mostra-se como Hegel concebe, contra outras disciplinas em voga, a auto-criação humana da individualidade, baseado na experiência de três famosas personagens literárias: Fausto, Karl von Moor e Dom Quixote. / By highlighting major statements from the Phenomenology of Spirit on the individuality category, this inquiry intends to appreciate the role of literature in understanding the so-called realization of racional self-consciousness through itself. In the first part, Hegels great work is presented as an attempt to depose the transcendental status of subjectivity in modern philosophy. In the second one, its shown how, against other current disciplines, Hegel conceives the human self-creation of individuality, based on the experience of three famous literary characters: Faust, Karl von Moor and Don Quixote.

Este trabalho investiga discursos e modelos de amor romântico construídos em filmes do cinema hollywoodiano, especialmente nas décadas de 1990 e 2000. Debate-se o papel do cinema na constituição de referências sobre a idealização e a experiência de relacionamentos amorosos e como esse contribui para reproduzir crenças e valores morais a respeito do amor que são pertinentes à modernidade e suas especificidades sociais, culturais e históricas. Nisso, observam-se no período analisado citações constantes de produções de outras épocas, indicando, especialmente em um contexto de grande presença de mídias audiovisuais na vida cotidiana, que o próprio cinema se utiliza como referência ao tratar do tema amor e reproduz isso como algo corriqueiro e culturalmente estabelecido. / This research investigates the discourses and models of romantic love constructed in Hollywood movies, more specifically in the 90s and 2000s. One argue the role of cinema in constituting references about the idealization and experience of love relationships and how this cinema contributes on reproducing beliefs and moral values about love that are pertinent to modernity and its social, cultural and historical specificities. Thus, in the analysed period, it could be observed constant quotations of films from other times, suggesting, especially in a context of great presence of audiovisual medias in everyday life, that cinema uses itself as reference when it comes about love and reproduces it as a commonplace, culturally established.

Este estudo tem aperspectiva de entender o corpo como integrado numa rede de elementos constitutivos, numa dinâmica de interações entre seus componentes e entre estes e outros seres e seu ambiente. Esta dinâmica se dá num contexto de alteridade, entendida não apenas no sentido das relações humanas, mas na sua acepção original, como qualidade do que é outro. Estudos recentes da biologia permitem supor um elo entre a questão da alteridade e suas raízes biológicas, integrando-a aos processos do adoecer. A capacidade de ação, de rearranjo do ser vivo em uma dinâmica de relações regulatórias e a noção de identidade são considerados na discussão dos fenômenos imunes. A alteridade aqui é vista como inata e biológica, no interior da qual a subjetividade é construída. Não há como considerar a alteridade sem aludir à subjetividade e à individualidade. Estes aspectos aparecem com clareza na experiência do transplante. Para desvendá-la, foi realizado um estudo qualitativo com base na abordagem fenomenológica, inspirado nas teorias da complexidade e referenciado por aporte teórico de vários saberes,num diálogo interdisciplinar. Foram realizadas vinte entrevistas em profundidade com pessoas que passaram pela experiência do transplante, independentemente do tipo de transplante realizado, do sexo ou grau de instrução. Após análise, foram identificadas as seguintes unidades de significado: a doença, um susto; riqueza de detalhes: a memória do corpo; qualidade (?) de vida antes do transplante; o tempo de espera; um telefonema: o chamado para uma nova vida; acordando diferente: começo de uma nova história; o estranhamento; alteridade: dívida, dádiva e gratidão; a dívida negativa; rejeição: a ameaça que vem de dentro; a dívida positiva; doadores vivos; nascendo de novo: uma vida praticamente normal; mudança de valores: o transplante como um caminho de transformação; a rede de alteridade conexões e esgarçamentos. Estas unidades de significado deram origem a quatro grandes temas que foram distribuídos nos seguintes capítulos: A Vida Antes do Transplante; O Transplante de (uma nova) Vida; Paradoxos da Alteridade: fechamento e abertura; A Vida Depois do Transplante. O estudo conclui considerando que tudo o que o homem é está enraizado na sua biologia, nela incluída e justaposta a dimensão subjetiva. A dimensão subjetiva humana é cunhada nas interações com os outros e com o meio. O ser humano (e, acreditamos, todo ser vivo) é constitutivamente relacional. Está, portanto, atrelado a uma dinâmica de alteridade, vivida de maneira radical pela pessoa transplantada. Sugere, assim, a conclusão de que não há separação entre mente e corpo, embora ainda subsista uma ponte a construir sobre o conhecimento para transpor o hiato entre as questões biológicas, as práticas intervencionistas e a experiência subjetiva. / The development of the concept of body is marked by men’s dissociated vision with his relationship with nature with consequents implication in epidemiology. This study has the perspective of understand the body as a part of a net of constitutive elements, in a dynamic of interaction between its components, and between those, and other beings in its environment. This dynamic happens in an alterity context, understood not only in the human relationship, but in its original acceptation, as “quality of what is the other”. Recent biology studies permit to assume a connection between the alterity issue and its biological roots, integrating it to the sickening process. The action capacity, of rearrangement of living beings in a dynamic of regulatory relationships and the notion of identity is considered in the discussion of the immunes phenomena. The alterity is seen here as innate and biological in the interior of which the subjectivity is built. There is no way to considerate alterity without alluding to the subjectivity and individuality. These aspects appear with clarity in the transplant experiment. To unfold it, a qualitative study was made with base in the phenomenological approach, inspired by the theories of complexity and referencing in theoretical port of several knowledge in an interdisciplinary dialogue. Twenty interviews were made in depth, with people who have gone trough the transplant experience, independently of the kind of transplant performed, gender or instruction degree. After analysis, there were identified the following units of meaning, the disease, a scary; richness of details: the body memory: life quality before the transplant; the waiting period; a phone call: the call to a new life; waking up differently: the beginning of a new story, the strangeness; alterity: debt, gift and thankfulness; the negative debt; rejection: the threat that comes from inside; the positive debt; living donors; being born again; a “practically normal life”; change of values: the transplant as a way of transformation; the alterity net: connections and separations. These units of meaning gave origin to four big themes that were distributed in the following chapters: The Life Before the Transplant; The Transplant of (a new) Life; Alterity paradoxes: closing and opening; The Life after Transplant. The study concludes considering that every thing that men is, is enrooted in our biology, and on it is included and juxtaposed to the subjective dimension. The human subjective dimension is intrinsic to the interaction with others and the environment. The human being (and, we believe all live beings) is constitutively relational. Is, ergo, attached to an alterity dynamic, experienced in a radical manner by the transplanted person. So it is suggested the conclusion that there is no separation between body and mind, even though there is a bridge to still be built over the knowledge to connect the hiatus between the biological issues, interventionist practices and subjective experience.

Propondo elaborar uma reflexão sociológica sobre a relação entre individualismo contemporâneo e os processos psicossociais e civilizadores, identificando o reflexo dessa relação na produção material do espaço urbano. Sabe-se que o individualismo emerge de um processo social alavancado pelo capitalismo, e nessa perspectiva, pode se tornar um forte viabilizador da fragmentação físico material do espaço urbano. Em particular a fragmentação planejada com o objetivo de divisão de classes social. Uma dessas implicações refere-se ao fato desses bairros planejados produzirem metaforicamente espaços “êmicos”, ou seja, que se assemelham às “tribos” que evitam, dificultam ou inviabilizam o convívio com indivíduos pertencentes a outras “tribos”. Outra implicação refere-se à “autogestão” desses espaços, que é equivocadamente apresentada à sociedade civil como uma alternativa viável para soluções de problemas sociais e urbanos, contudo deveriam ser solucionados em caráter público, e não de forma particularizada pelo “polo riqueza” da sociedade. Trabalhou-se para responder a seguinte indagação: Como os processos psicossociais do individualismo interferem na produção material do espaço urbano? Sugerindo-se a hipótese de que tanto o desamparo psicossocial quanto a busca por privilégios remanescentes de uma natureza narcísica, fazem o indivíduo desenvolver uma dualidade comportamental que reorganiza os valores sociais na sociedade. Percebeu-se ao final que o processo civilizador ainda não constituiu o saber conviver com o “estranho”, ao contrário equivocadamente fortaleceu estratégias “êmicas”. Agindo assim, o indivíduo alimentou um novo processo social que desta vez reconfigura o individualismo levando-o a construções de “tribos”, intituladas “bairros planejados”. A autogestão é a marca desses bairros, onde o indivíduo vive afastado do Poder Público e da ideia de sociedade em geral. / Ce travail est une étude pluridisciplinaire d'investigation théorique à la lumière de la sociologie, de l'Urbanisme et de la psychanalyse freudienne. Il vise à développer une réflexion sociologique sur la relation entre l'individualisme contemporain et des processus psychosociaux et civilisatrices, identifier le reflet de cette relation dans la production matérielle de l'espace urbain. Il est connu que l'individualisme émerge d'un processus social stimulé par le capitalisme, et dans cette perspective, peut devenir un puissant activateur de la fragmentation des trucs physique de l'espace urbain. En particulier la fragmentation du quartier avec l‟objetif du division class sociale.Une préoccupation au sujet de les possibles implications causée pour la fragmentation urbaine planifiée. Une de ces implications, se réfère au fait que ces quartiers prévus produisent espaces "émique", sens qui ressemblent à "tribus" qui empêchent, entraver ou de contact fiable avec les personnes appartenant à d'autres «tribus». Une autre implications se réfère à «l'auto-gestion" dans ces espaces, qui son à tort présenté à la société civile comme une alternative viable pour la résolution des problèmes sociaux et urbains, mais ils devraient être résolus dans un caractère public, et non sous individualisée dans la «richesse de polo" de la société. A travaillé pour répondre à la question suivante: Comme l'individualisme des processus psychosociaux on interfèrent dans la production matérielle de l'espace urbain ? Il est suggéré l'hypothèse que tant la détresse psychosociale comme la recherche de privilèges restant de la nature narcissique, il fait rendré l'individu à développer une dualité de comportement qui réorganise les valeurs sociales de la société. Il a été remarqué à la fin que le processus civilisateur il ne fait pas la civilité de savoir comment vivre avec le “étranger”. Ce faisant, l'alimentation d'un nouveau processus social cette fois reconfigure l'individualisme menant la la construction de «tribus», intitulé «quartiers prévus." L'autogestion est la marque de ces quartiers, où l'individu vit loin du gouvernement et de la société idée générale.

O presente estudo visou investigar as estratégias interativas, de manipulação de impressões e de gerenciamento de identidades vigentes no ambiente de sociabilidade de Second Life, um mundo virtual determinado. Nele, indivíduos munem-se de inúmeras ferramentas para administrar a exposição de informações pessoais, o que proporcionaria elevado controle sobre a impressão causada nos demais. A pesquisa compôs-se de uma observação participante em um primeiro momento e posteriores entrevistas com adeptos, selecionados a partir de uma metodologia do tipo bola-de-neve. A análise das regras e táticas de sociabilidade do ambiente em questão deu-se à luz de interpretações sociológicas de Erving Goffman, Georg Simmel e, em menor medida, Pierre Bourdieu. Por meio delas, conceitos como o de manipulação de impressões, cuidado com a face, sociabilidade e coquetismo foram aplicados e adaptados para a compreensão do fenômeno. Após a etapa exploratória, buscou-se situar os valores e mecanismos sociais percebidos em Second Life com relação à sociedade contemporânea fora das telas do computador, conforme apreendida por proeminentes autores atuais como Ulrich Beck, Mike Featherstone e Kenneth Gergen. A partir deles, aplicou-se a visão da liberdade precária, a noção de sociedade de consumo e suas implicações para o gerenciamento de identidades, além da suposta situação de saturação do self notada por Gergen (1991) como dominante em sociedades ocidentais do fim do século passado. Como objetivo norteador do estudo, buscou-se questionar a validade da ideia, propagada por desenvolvedores e adeptos desse mundo virtual, que o percebe como uma alternativa significativa às formas de existência típicas das sociedades ocidentais contemporâneas. Tal abordagem, nem sempre exposta clara e diretamente pelos próprios desenvolvedores desse programa de computador, está implícita em seu próprio título segunda vida. Em suma, após uma exploração das regras de sociabilidade típicas do ambiente em questão, contesta-se até que ponto é possível confirmar a existência da produção de identidades e realização plena de liberdade quando da imersão dos indivíduos em mundos virtuais / This study aimed to investigate the interactive strategies, manipulation of impressions and identity management prevailing in the sociability environment of Second Life, a determined virtual world. In it, individuals are provided with several tools to manage the exposure of personal information, which would allow high control over the impressions made by one user on others. The research consisted of participant observation at first and later interviews with users, selected from a methodology such as \"snow-ball.\" The analysis of rules and tactics of social environment in question took place in the light of sociological interpretations of Erving Goffman, Georg Simmel, and Pierre Bourdieu to a smaller extent. Through them, concepts such as \"management of impressions\", \"facework,\" \"sociability\" and \"flirting\" were applied and adapted to the understanding of the phenomenon. After the exploratory stage, we sought to place the perceived values and social mechanisms in Second Life in relation to the contemporary society out of computer screens, as perceived by prominent present authors like Ulrich Beck, Kenneth Gergen and Mike Featherstone. Important ideas were applied, like the vision of \"precarious freedom,\" the notion of \"consumer society\" and its implications for identity management, and the supposed state of \"saturation of the self\" noted by Gergen (1991) as dominant in Western societies in the end of the last century. As a guiding objective of the study, we sought to question the validity of the idea, propagated by developers and adepts of this virtual world, that perceives it as a meaningful alternative to the typical ways of living of contemporary Western societies. Such approach, not always clear and exposed directly by the developers of this computer program, is implicit in its very title - \"second life\". In short, after an exploration of the typical rules of sociability of the environment in question, it is disputed how far it is possible to confirm the production of identities and full realization of freedom when individuals are immersed in virtual worlds.

Os anos iniciais do casamento representam um momento singular na formação do casal de extrema importância uma vez que envolve aspectos individuais e conjugais. Aliado às questões da conjugalidade, as imposições do mercado de trabalho refletem diferenças importantes nos arranjos conjugais na atualidade. O objetivo desta dissertação foi compreender a dinâmica de funcionamento conjugal frente ao processo de adaptação das questões individuais e conjugais em casais de dupla carreira nos anos iniciais do casamento. Esta dissertação é composta por dois artigos empíricos, o primeiro intitulado Casais de dupla carreira nos anos iniciais do casamento: compreendendo a formação do casal, papéis, trabalho e projetos de vida e o segundo A qualidade conjugal nos anos iniciais do casamento em casais de dupla carreira. Foi realizado um estudo de casos múltiplos com seis casais heterossexuais, de primeira união com até cinco anos de relacionamento conjugal, com idades entre 24 e 34 anos, sem filhos, residentes em Porto Alegre/RS e região metropolitana, caracterizados como dupla carreira ou duplo trabalho. Os instrumentos utilizados foram: questionário de dados sociodemográficos, entrevista semi-estruturada com o casal abrangendo questões referentes à conjugalidade e entrevista semi-estruturada individual com cada cônjuge. Este estudo permitiu compreender aspectos como a formação do casal, papéis e funções, trabalho e os projetos vitais de casais jovens de dupla carreira do Rio Grande do Sul, assim como avaliar a qualidade através de dimensão como adaptabilidade, coesão, conflito e comunicação nestes casais. / The marriage has been studied constantly facing the need to understand how it is represented today before many social and cultural changes. The early years of marriage represent a singular moment in the formation of the couple of extreme importance as it involves individual and marital aspects. Associated to marital issues, the impositions from labor market reflect in important differences in marital arrangements today. The aim of this thesis was to understand the dynamics of marital functioning across the adaptation process of individual and marital issues in dual-career couples in the early years of marriage. This dissertation consists of two empirical articles, the first titled Dual career couples in the early years of marriage:understanding the formation of the couple, roles, work and life projects, the second Marital quality in the early years of marriage in dual-career couples. We conducted a multiple study case with six heterosexual couples, first-marriage with five years of marital relationships, aged between 24 and 34, no children, living in Porto Alegre/RS, and the metropolitan area, characterized as dual-career or dual work. The instruments used were: sociodemographic questionnaire, semi-structured interview with the couple about issues related to marital and individual semi-structured interviews with each spouse. This study allowed to feature a sample of young couples with dual career from Rio Grande do Sul, as well to understand how the marital quality is configured in these early years of marriage, described in the literature as a difficult moment as it is necessary to combinate the individual and marital aspects.

This translatability is pragmatically located in the in-between of the Spanish and Portuguese languages a tension of siamese tongues. This work is composed, first of all, of a thematic Introduction, with the addition of a preliminary approach in the manner of short Essays. Subsequently, it unfolds through three blocks: the first block highlights the intensification of this convergence of sister languages, from where the denominated pure language emerges. The second block is an exercise of investigative intervention in this convergence, which is proposed as exercise of individuation. The third block is geared to the intensity that comes from such exercise, as a procedure of nomadic thought. It is important to mention that this thesis will be linked to the notion of state of translation, elaborated by the author in his master s thesis, which has provided theoretical and methodological elements for the development of this work / Esta tese visa delimitar um problema da traduzibilidade, como exercício de individuação, a partir desse conceito situável na obra de Deleuze & Guattari, em particular, em Mille Plateaux. Tal traduzibilidade está localizada pragmaticamente no entre-lugar das línguas portuguesa e castelhana uma tensão de línguas siamesas. A tese se compõe, em primeiro lugar, de uma Introdução temática, com o acréscimo de uma primeira aproximação a modo de pequenos Ensaios. Posteriormente, desenrola-se em três blocos ou devires: O primeiro bloco destaca a intensificação desse encontro de línguas siamesas, donde emerge o que se designa como língua pura. O segundo bloco é um exercício de intervenção investigativa nesse encontro, que se propõe como exercício de individuação. No terceiro bloco, aponta-se para a intensidade emanada de tal exercício, como procedimento de um pensamento nômade. Cabe esclarecer sucintamente que se conectará esta tese à noção de estado de tradução, construída pelo autor na dissertação de mestrado, que forneceu elementos teóricos e metodológicos para desenvolver este trabalho
