[pt] Todas as religiões possuem no ato de reunir a sua melhor expressão para realizar o culto. No cristianismo, a reunião tem na convocação divina o seu motivo principal. O ato de reunir-se é, por assim dizer, a resposta à convocação realizada. O culto da Igreja se compreende na assembleia litúrgica, entendida como a primeira manifestação da fé cristã. Nela, os convocados se reúnem para uma experiência profunda de fé e transformação. Para que seja efetiva, se faz necessária a presença e ação dinamizadora do Espírito Santo na assembleia cristã. Com isso, está identificado o escopo de nossa pesquisa que será abordada em três capítulos. A assembleia litúrgica em chave pneumatológica fitou nesta pesquisa um itinerário bíblico-histórico-teológico-litúrgico-pastoral. Para tanto, este caminho percorreu no primeiro capítulo, a Escritura Sagrada. Nela, foram consideradas algumas das principais assembleias da história da salvação que tiveram vinculação com o Espírito Santo. No capítulo seguinte, averiguamos do período dos Padres da Igreja ao Concílio Vaticano II o desenvolvimento histórico da compreensão e práxis das reuniões celebrativas dos cristãos. Ao desfecho e, portanto, terceiro capítulo, reunimos os frutos colhidos da Escritura e da história para identificarmos alguns traços que a teologia hodierna tem investigado sobre esta relação orgânica entre a assembleia litúrgica e o Espírito Santo. Com isso, queremos resgatar esta temática para apresentar uma discreta contribuição à vida cristã que se estabelece a partir de suas assembleias onde o Espírito Santo torna-a viva, atual e continuadora da história da salvação. / [it] Tutte le religioni hanno nell atto di riunire la loro migliore espressione cultuale. Nel cristianesimo, la riunione trova nella convocazione divina la sua principale motivazione. L atto di riunirsi è come una sorta di risposta alla convocazione ricevuta. Il culto della Chiesa comprende questa realtà nell assemblea liturgica, intesa come la prima manifestazione della fede cristiana. In essa i chiamati si radunano per fare l esperienza profonda di fede e trasformazione. Affinché sia effettiva è necessario che nell assemblea cristiana ci sia la presenza e l azione dello Spirito Santo. Su questo tema vogliamo focalizzare lo scopo della nostra ricerca, che sarà svolta in tre capitoli. La nostra ricerca sul tema dell assemblea liturgica in chiave pneumatologica svolge un percorso biblico, storico, teologico, liturgico e pastorale. Il primo capitolo prende in esame la Sacra Scrittura per evidenziare le principali assemblee della storia della salvezza che hanno avuto un legame con lo Spirito Santo. Nel capitolo successivo si indaga il percorso storico dei Padre della Chiesa fino al Concilio Vaticano II, e quindi lo sviluppo storico della comprensione e prassi delle riunioni celebrative dei cristiani. Nel terzo capitolo, si riprendono i dati significativi trovati nelle Scritture e nell evoluzione storica per identificare alcuni elementi che la teologia e la liturgia attuale stanno ricercando sulla relazione organica fra assemblea liturgica e Spirito Santo. Scopo del nostro lavoro è recuperare questa tematica per offrire un piccolo contributo alla vita cristiana, che si stabilisce proprio a partire dalle assemblee nelle quali lo Spirito Santo rende viva, attuale e continuativa la storia della salvezza.

<p>Nedgången bland IT-företagen efter att bubblan sprack runt millennieskiftet ledde till att färre studenter sökte sig till de IT-relaterade utbildningarna och många redan utbildade hade svårt att hitta arbete. När konjunkturen vände för bara något år sedan, skapades ett motsatt förhållande. Idag finns det en stor vilja hos företagen att expandera sin verksamhet, men den bristande arbetskraften sätter stopp för utvecklingen. Antalet sökande till landets utbildningar är fortsatt lågt.</p><p>Arbetet avser att undersöka hur dagens företag marknadsför sig och motiverar den utbildade personal som finns på marknaden. Vi har genom en intervjustudie försökt att se på hur företagen gör för att attrahera och locka ny personal. De företag som vi har valt att undersöka är ett större och internationellt företag samt ett mindre och inte alls lika välkänt konsultbolag.</p><p>Analysen belyser de skilda förutsättningarna som företagen i IT-ranschen har. De arbetar på olika sätt i sin marknadsföring mot presumtiv arbetskraft och vi påpekar också skillnader i yrkesroller och attraktionskraft av olika sorters IT-yrken.</p><p>Slutligen diskuteras och sammanfattas de strategier företagen har för att attrahera personal. Marknadsföringen behöver i många fall breddas för att lättare nå ut med en bild av företaget och branschen i stort för att på vis göra rekryteringen lättare.</p>

The industrial age was bound to end when the microprocessor was invented. Even though the classical economic theory applies for today as well as for the 1960s, the last thirty years were symptomatic by the change of the fundamental characteristics of the economy and information technology plays a key role in this process. The aim of this thesis was to describe the principles and micro- and macroeconomic phenomena present in the New Economy of today, the challenges that the companies face in this environment and, finally, to conduct a cross-industry analysis on the impact of IT on company's performance, namely value-added. The empirical results did not show any clear patterns among the industries and therefore no significant relationship between the share of information technology assets of total assets and company's value-added could be proven. One of the reasons for that could be the technical issues regarding the statistical measurement of IT which also remains the biggest challenge for the researchers in this field.

The theme of this thesis is one of the latest trends in IT -- Green IT. For companies implementation of green IT means not only acknowledging its responsibility towards society and environment, but also substantial financial benefits and improved public perception of their business. There are several motivations for companies to go green. Green IT initiatives are increasingly supported by the legislation and various standards. Different procedures and approaches to help companies in their transformation are developing as well. The objectives of this thesis include the identification of key players, the benefits and barriers to green IT, and new opportunities. The aim of this thesis is to bring a comprehensive view of the green IT trend and provide enough quality information to obtain an overall view of the green IT trend and a possible basis for deeper interest in the subject. Another objective is to analyze the frameworks used for the implementation of green IT initiatives in organizations. The achievement is approached through research and analysis, and information available in the literature, published reports and websites dealing with green IT were used. Thesis contribution lies particularly in analysis of green IT frameworks, within which there was evaluated their interests in terms of green IT waves, green IT objectives, their use in the process of implementation green IT solutions, their locus and other attributes.

Issues in IT Governance & IT service management - a study of their adoption in Australian universities

IT service management (ITSM) has emerged as one of the approaches to implementing IT Governance in Australian Universities. A number of ITSM frameworks have been proposed however, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control OBjectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) have been most widely accepted and implemented internationally and within Australia. The research reported in this thesis was undertaken to shed light on the issues related to ITIL adoption and implementation within Australian universities. To date academic research in ITIL adoption and implementation has not been extensive as it is comparatively a new framework, especially within Australian universities. The theoretical framework proposed in this thesis has IT service management as the central concept, implementing IT Governance to align the university and technology. This framework is used to examine the experience of ITIL adoption in seven Australian universities, plus a detailed case study on one university�s experience. This research reveals a complex web of factors relating to ITIL implementation including; the pre-implementation process; processes implemented; order of implementation; hiring external expertise;, tool selection;, staff training; ongoing assessments; managing cultural change; managing learning curve and resource strain. The findings provide an insight into practical lessons for other Australian universities or similar organisations considering implementing IT Governance through IT Service management frameworks. The method used in this research may be useful for other organisations and researchers analysing universities and similar organisations implementing ITIL. IT Governance and IT service management frameworks are diverse and important areas which open a poorly researched field for further work.

Predicting IT Governance Performance : A Method for Model-Based Decision Making

Contemporary enterprises are largely dependent on Information Technology (IT), which makes decision making on IT matters important. There are numerous issues that confuse IT decision making, including contradictive business needs, financial constraints, lack of communication between business and IT stakeholders and difficulty in understanding the often heterogeneous and integrated IT systems. The discipline of IT governance aims at providing the decision making structures, processes, and relational mechanisms, needed in order for IT to support and perpetuate the business. The adjacent discipline of enterprise architecture provides a broad range of frameworks and tools for model-based management of IT. Enterprise architecture is a commonly and successfully used approach, but the frameworks need to be adapted with respect to the concerns at stake in order to become truly useful. The IT organization includes all people involved in decision making regarding IT. The quality of the IT organization differs between enterprises and depends on aspects such as: are rights and responsibilities assigned to the appropriate people, are formalized processes implemented, and does proper documentation exist? This internal IT organization efficiency is labeled IT governance maturity. One might argue that internal efficiency metrics of the IT organization are of moderate interest only. What really matters is the external effectiveness of services that the IT organization delivers to the business. This latter effectiveness is labeled IT governance performance. Even though it is reasonable to believe that enterprises with good IT governance maturity also achieve high IT governance performance, the validity of this assumption has never been tested. IT management’s ability to make well-informed decisions regarding internal IT organization matters would increase if it were possible to predict IT governance performance. The contribution of this thesis is a method for model-based IT governance decision making. The method includes a metamodel, i.e. a modeling language, and a framework for the assessment of IT governance maturity and performance. The method also allows prediction of IT governance performance.  This thesis is a composite thesis consisting of four papers and an introduction. Paper A presents an overview of the method for model-based IT governance decision making. Paper B presents the mathematical foundation of the prediction apparatus, i.e. a Bayesian network that is based on statistical data. Paper C presents how the method can be used in practice to support IT governance decision making. Finally, Paper D analyzes the correlation of IT governance maturity and performance. <p>Background: IT-security is included in the concept of information security, which considers all the security of handling information within an organisation. Good IT-security is about finding the right level of measurement, however, it is hard to implemement new IT-solutions in an organisation, particularly within the health care field, where sensitive information are handled daily. Lately the Swedish government, together with county- and city council, understand the importance of IT and health care. Carelink, an organisation of interest, is working actively for the presumption of benefit by using IT within the health care field. During spring 2006 the Swedish government introduced a national IT-strategy. SITHS, Säker IT inom Hälso- och sjukvården, is a project running by Carelink and is based upon using Smart Cards as an identification. Smart Cards can be used as accesscards for logging on to a computersystem in an organsiation in order to secure an indentity.</p><p>Purpose: The purpose with this thesis is to investigate the assumptions for how Smart Cards, as a part of a total security solution, can increase the ITsecurity within the Healt Care field.</p><p>Method: The study was initiated with literature and suitable references to informationssecurity, Smart Cards and Healthcareinformatic. Our empirical study was carried out at Ryhov Hospital in Jönköping, one of Sweden’s newest hospitals. Both qualitative and quantitative studies were conducted, because we chose to do interviews and surveys. The interviews were conducted in order to get a deeper understanding for the organisation and the survey was made in order to investigate the attitudes among the nurses and doctors about the security of computer use.</p><p>Result: Smart Cards can, according to our studie, increase the IT-security within the Health Care field by creating a safer identification with the use of ITsupport. Smart Cards can also make the process of logging on and off to a computer system easier, which leads to better logging and mobilisation. The study also demonstrates that users are not afraid of the changes a smart card will represent within their organization.</p> / <p>Bakgrund: IT-säkerhet ingår i begreppet informationssäkerhet som avser all säkerhet vid hantering av information inom en organisation. God IT-säkerhet handlar om att hitta rätt nivå med tillhörande åtgärder och nya IT lösningar, men detta är inte enkelt att införa i organisationer och speciellt inte i vården som dagligen hanterar känslig information. Under senare år har regeringen tillsammans med landsting och kommuner fått upp ögonen för vilken nytta IT kan utgöra inom vården. Intresseorganisationen Carelink arbetar aktivt för att skapa förutsättningar att använda IT inom vården, och under våren 2006 har även regeringen presenterat en Nationell IT-strategi. Projektet SITHS, Säker IT inom Hälso- och Sjukvården, drivs av Carelink och bygger på att använda smarta kort som säker identifikation. Korten kan bland annat användas som passerkort och vid inloggning till ett datasystem för att säkerhetsställa en identitet.</p><p>Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka förutsättningarna för hur smarta kort, som en del av en total säkerhetslösning, kan förbättra IT-säkerheten inom hälso- och sjukvården.</p><p>Metod: Studien påbörjades med en genomgång av lämplig litteratur om informationssäkerhet, smarta kort samt vårdinformatik. Den empiriska studien utfördes sedan på Länssjukhuset Ryhov i Jönköping, som är ett av Sveriges nyaste sjukhus. Här genomfördes både kvalitativa och kvantitativa studier, då vi valde att göra ett antal intervjuer samt en enkätundersökning bland vårdgivarna. Intervjuerna gjordes för att få en djupare förståelse för organisationen, och enkätundersökningen för att undersöka attityderna till dagens datoranvändning samt hur säkerheten kring datoriseringen upplevs bland de anställda.</p><p>Resultat: Enligt studien kan smarta kort förbättra IT-säkerheten inom hälso- och sjukvården genom att skapa en säker identifiering vid användning av ITstöd. Smarta kort kan även bidra till en förenklad in- och utloggningsprocess i ett datorsystem, vilket i sin tur leder till bättre spårbarhet samt ökad mobilitet bland användarna. Undersökningen visar att majoriteten av användarna inte är emot den förändring ett smart kort kan bidra till, utan snarare tvärt om.</p>
