Objetivou-se com o presente trabalho investigar as relações existentes entre dois espaços de \"cura\": o serviço local de saúde e a instituição religiosa, representada pelas várias Igrejas Pentecostais. A investigação, de corte qualitativo, baseou-se em depoimentos colhidos de sujeitos que frequentavam simultaneamente estes dois espaços de \"cura\". Concluiu-se que os dois espaços são usados conjuntamente e percebidos como nítidamente distintos. Através da análise dos depoimentos foi possível estabelecer uma série de categorias distintivas que permitem especificar as particularidades e diferenças entre o espaço racionalcientífico e o espaço religioso, quando se trata de \"cura\". Concluiu-se também que os sistemas oficiais tem muito a aprender dos \"sistemas religiosos\", notadamente no que diz respeito ao caráter \"acolhedor\" destes últimos. / The objective of this work is to investigate the relationships between two \"cure\" spaces: the local health service and the religious institution represented here by several Pentecostal Churches. The qualitative section investigation was based on statements taken from people who attended the two \"cure\" spaces simultarieously. We concluded that the two spaces are used concurrently and understood as clearly distinct. Through the analysis of the statements it was possible to establish a series of different categories permitting to specifY peculiarities and dissimilarities between the -rational - scientific and the religious spaces when we refer to \"cure\". We have also concluded that the official systems have much to leam from \"religious systems\" especially when considering the \"welcoming\" character of the latter ones.

A presente investigação objetivou estudar as relações que se estabelecem entre Aids e religião a partir dos campos sanitário e religioso. Buscou discutir a presença do fator religioso na vivência de portadores do HIV, entendendo esta presença dentro do contexto da relação que historicamente tem se estabelecido entre saúde e religião, fortemente evidenciada nas últimas décadas, principalmente com a atuação das igrejas ou ramos pentecostais. Foi escolhida a metodologia de corte qualitativo e para a construção e análise dos discursos dos sujeitos envolvidos: portadores do HIV freqüentadores de igrejas pentecostais, profissionais de saúde que atendem portadores do HIV e religiosos pentecostais, utilizamos as figuras metodológicas que compõem a proposta do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC). Na análise dos discursos fica evidente a busca da religião após o conhecimento do diagnóstico de HIV, onde a doença é ressignificada à luz do discurso religioso; discute-se a função que a religião tem exercido nestas situações, tanto no sentido do conforto e proteção ao indivíduo quanto à promessa de cura para este e outros males, ocupando um espaço de \"terapia religiosa\". Conclui-se pela identificação de uma relação marcada pela harmonia e pelo conflito entre Aids e religião, porém não se acredita, e portanto não se propõe, a superação deste conflito, mas a necessidade de aprofundar o conhecimento desta relação que é efetiva, visando uma convivência pautada pelo respeito as diferentes posturas próprias de uma sociedade pluralista. / This inquiry has been accomplished in order to study the relationships grounded between Aids and religion from the sanitary and religious fields. lt has discussed the presence of religion in people infected with mv. clarifying this presence within a context that historically has been established between health and religion and that has become strongly enhanced for the last decades, mainly due to the performance of churches and pentecostal branches. The methodology of qualitative cut has been chosen and methodological figures for building up and analysis o f speeches o f the individuais involved : people who are HIV positive and who are members ofPentecostal_Churches, professionals related to health, who care o f lllV positive and people from the Pentecostal Church itself that make up the proposition ofthe Collective Subject Discourse (DSC). lt becomes evident throughout this analysis the seeking of religion following the receiving of the results of the HIV diagnosis where the decease is given a new significance under the light of the religious discourse; it has been discussed the role o f religion in these situations either in terms o f providing comfort and protection to the individual or promise of cure for this or other decease, taking up a \"religious therapy\". Finally, the identification o f the existence o f a relationship enhanced by smoothness and by conflict between Aids and religion, however it is not believed, therefore not proposed the overcoming o f this conflict, nevertheless the necessity o f deepening the knowledge o f this relationship that is effective aiming a respectful coexistence with attitudes that are inherent to a pluralist society.

In this paper, some existing cases in Fortaleza were presented, and the characteristics of a female pastoral care and the models found in this field were noted. The models in the field are found in the equation of “permanence and rupture” variables as related to the biblical model of women which permeates the religious mindset of the female ministers. A qualitative methodology was used with life narratives for the purpose of analyzing their life trajectories, understanding what the process is like in the rise of women to the pastoral office in different denominational settings. / A presente pesquisa buscou analisar as narrativas das trajetórias de mulheres evangélicas até a chegada ao cargo pastoral, centrando-se no sentido dado pelas pastoras à ordenação feminina. Neste trabalho, apresentaram-se alguns dos casos existentes em Fortaleza e a partir deles foram apontadas as características de um pastorado feminino e os modelos encontrados neste campo. Os modelos encontrados no campo encontram-se na equação das variáveis “permanência e ruptura” com relação ao modelo bíblico de mulher que permeia o imaginário religioso das pastoras. Foi utilizada a metodologia qualitativa com uso das narrativas de vida, com a finalidade de analisar suas trajetórias de vida, compreendendo como é o processo de ascensão de mulheres ao cargo pastoral em configurações denominacionais diferentes.

In order to accomplish this research, we interviewed religious leaders who helped us to understand the organization of Umbanda and Candomblé terreiros in the region; we also applied 80 questionnaires in eight terreiros all around the region, in order to understand the socio-economic profile of the participants. During the analyses of the questionnaires, it was verified the occurrence of transit, in an even more intense way among the Umbamba practitioners, and we analyzed the motivations for that religious move, identifying also the gender motivations, besides the relations of symbolic exchange established among the members and the religious institutions. We verified the main evangelical groups in which those religious subjects transited, observing possible resemblances, as well as their moving away from their worship practices and the African-Brazilian worship practices. / Esta pesquisa analisa o trânsito religioso de pessoas que tiveram a sua biografia religiosa marcada pela participação/envolvimento em cultos evangélicos e que atualmente se declaram praticantes de ritos de candomblé e umbanda na região do ABCD paulista . Para a realização da mesma conduzimos entrevistas com líderes religiosos que nos ajudaram a compreender a organização dos terreiros de umbanda e candomblé na região; também aplicamos 80 questionários em oito terreiros espalhados pela região, compreendendo assim o perfil socioeconômico de seus frequentadores. Durante a análise dos questionários verificou-se a ocorrência do trânsito, de maneira ainda mais intensa entre praticantes da umbanda, e analisamos as motivações para esta movimentação religiosa, identificando ainda as motivações de gênero para esta movimentação, além das relações de trocas simbólicas estabelecidas entre os fiéis e as instituições religiosas. Verificamos os principais grupos evangélicos por onde estes sujeitos religiosos transitaram, observando possíveis semelhanças, bem como o distanciamento de suas práticas cúlticas e as práticas dos cultos afro-brasileiros.

A pesquisa recorre a autores, historiadores - eclesiásticos ou não - que trilharam o passado dessa igreja, quando ela se entendia como de rito alemão. Mas também se vale, e quer "salvar" a memória de atores, ainda vivos, que estiveram no palco do processo de abrasileiramento dessa igreja que até os dias de hoje ainda é vista, em muitos lugares do Sul do Brasil, como dos alemães. É bem verdade que ela substituiu o alemão pelo português no seu linguajar litúrgico. Para tanto, recebeu, porém, mais impulsos de fora do que foi a sua vontade interior de falar o português, inserir-se na realidade brasileira e trocar o adjetivo lutherano por luterano.

No referido período, a Igreja do Evangelho Quadrangular conseguiu, com a mobilização de seus fieis, eleger representantes à Câmara Vereadores de Assis em três legislaturas consecutivas. Em uma cidade marcada historicamente pela proximidade entre o catolicismo e o campo político a entrada de evangélicos na política acabou por deslocar para o campo político disputas próprias do campo religioso. Durante o trabalho procurou-se contextualizar, política e teologicamente, a inserção pentecostal no campo religioso brasileiro, bem como, atentar para as características administrativas e teológicas da Igreja do Evangelho Quadrangular. Deu-se ênfase ao estudo do campo religioso assisense em sua relação com o campo político e ao estabelecimento da Igreja do Evangelho Quadrangular na cidade de Assis. Por fim, procurou-se delimitar as ações desenvolvidas por esta igreja no sentido de obter sucesso junto ao campo político e os perfis de seus representantes eleitos à Câmara de Vereadores local / The present study aims to understand and analyze historically the insertion of Pentecostal churches in the Brazilian political field as an analysis taking the Church of the Foursquare Gospel in the city of Assis, São Paulo, between 1996 and 2008. In that period, the Foursquare Gospel Church has potten, with the mobilization of its faithful, to elect representatives to the Board of Aldermen Assis in three consecutive legislatures. In a city historically marked by the proximity between Catholicism and the political the entry of evangelicals into politics eventually move to the political disputes of their own religious field. During the study sought to contextualize politically and theologically, the insertion Pentecostal Brazilian religious field, as well as pay attention to administrative and theological characteristics of the Foursquare Gospel Church. Emphasis was placed on the study of the field religious assisense in its relation to the political field and on the establishment of the Church of the Foursquare Gospel in the city of Assis. Finally, it is sought to define the actions developed by this church in order to succeed with the political field and the profiles of their elected representatives to the City Council site

Com o auxílio do referencial metodológico da Teomusicologia, que se trata de uma musicologia teologicamente informada, este estudo visa verificar se a mentalidade teológica dos adventistas é transferida para as estruturas da composição de cânticos. The observation of Adventist musical field displays the connection between music and theology, in the sense that theological propositions for musical practice are related to the doctrinal distinction of Adventism. With the aid of Theomusicology, a methodological framework that consists in a theologically informed musicology, this study aims to verify if the theological mindset of Adventists is transferred to the structures of the composition of songs.
