O presente trabalho visa a contribuir com as pesquisas sobre histórias em quadrinhos, mais especificamente na área aplicada à articulação e codificação de sentidos presentes nesse gênero discursivo. Como arcabouço teórico pertinente à análise do discurso de base enunciativa, emprego nesta pesquisa os conceitos de semântica global, práticas intersemióticas e competências, presentes nas obras Gênese dos discursos (2008) e Análise de textos de comunicação (2011), de Maingueneau, além de retomar a reflexão de Foucault sobre as relações entre palavras e imagens, apresentada em Isto não é um cachimbo (2008). Do campo dos estudos aplicados às HQs, ressalto aqueles realizados por Will Eisner (2010) e Sonia Luyten (2000 e 2001), entre outros. A partir desses referenciais teóricos o presente estudo propõe investigar a materialidade do discurso verbo-imagético das histórias em quadrinhos, tendo como referencial verbal as onomatopeias e as mímesis contidas no corpus selecionado, o primeiro volume da primeira edição brasileira do mangá Cavaleiros do Zodíaco (2000), e compreender como a relação entre esses elementos e os planos discursivos do estrato imagético produz sentidos a serem decodificados pelos leitores. Esta pesquisa atenta-se à importância da representação imagética feminina no período Júlio-claudiano, mais especificamente de Lívia Drusila e/ou Júlia Augusta, identificando as principais características encontradas em seus retratos a cada sucessão imperial. Para tanto, fazse necessário não só o estudo de suas respectivas construções verbais e imagéticas, como também, das funções atribuídas às mulheres, tanto nas relações do poderio romano como nos contextos público e privado. Em suma, o trabalho abrangerá o estudo dos retratos imagéticos femininos romanos; suas histórias; as relações entre a imagem e o poder; os aspectos e as teorizações consideradas relevantes em suas figurações; a intencionalidade inserida nessas construções e em que medida a participação feminina influenciou nos governos de Augusto, Tibério, Calígula, Cláudio e Nero. / This research focuses on the importance of the imagery representation of women on the Julio-Claudian period, more specifically on those about Livia Drusila and / or Julia Augusta, identifying the main characteristics that can be found on their pictures on each imperial succession. Not only the study of their respective verbal and image constructions is necessary, but also the tasks assigned to women, as in relationships of Roman power as in public and private contexts. In short, this work will involve the study about imagetic Roman portraits of women; their respective histories; the relationships between image and power; theories and aspects considered relevant on their imagetic constructions; the intentionality presented on these constructions and how women\'s participation influenced governments of Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius and Nero.

With her latest album, Vulnicura (BJÖRK, 2015n), the Icelandic artist expresses a keen sense of pain that reaches its apex in Black Lake (2015c), the fourth track of the disc. From the poetic text, composed by the lyrics of that song, I investigate how the transmutation of Björk’s subjectivity happened through the intersemiotic translation of that text-sign to three different polysystems: music, image and video. Therefore, I propose a dialogue, among others, with the studies of Jakobson (1992), Plaza (2003) and Pierce (2000), who have important works on intersemiotic translation, to compose the first part of the theoretical foundation of this research. In addition, I ground it in the investigations of Kühl (2008), Barthes (1977) and Goodwin (1992), who deal, respectively, with media translations to music, image and video, to compose the specific elements of analysis of the corpus here studied and, along with other authors, to be able to analyze it from a more heterogeneous theoretical framework. The results point to the mastery of Björk by evidence of her artistic ability to uniquely transmutate the sensation of pain – and, by extension, to transcreate her own self – to those three sign dimensions, reinforcing such an element in her translations. It follows, therefore, that this research is relevant to the development of the Translation Studies and, more specifically, to provide better understanding of phenomena concerning the intersemiotic translation. / Björk extravasa criatividade com sua arte singular e, assim, tem inovado e influenciado setores midiáticos importantes, como os da indústria fonográfica, da arte fotográfica e digital e de video making. Com o seu álbum mais recente, Vulnicura (BJÖRK, 2015n), a artista islandesa exprime um forte sentimento de dor que atinge seu ápice em Black Lake (2015c), quarta faixa do disco. A partir do texto poético, composto pela letra dessa música, investigo como ocorreu a transmutação da subjetividade de Björk através da tradução intersemiótica desse texto-signo para três polissistemas distintos: música, imagem e vídeo. Para tanto, proponho um diálogo, dentre outros, com os estudos de Jakobson (1992), Plaza (2003) e Pierce (2000), que têm trabalhos importantes sobre esse tipo de tradução, para compor a primeira parte da fundamentação teórica desta investigação. Ademais, baseio-me nas pesquisas de Kühl (2008), Barthes (1977) e Goodwin (1992), que tratam, respectivamente, de traduções midiáticas para música, imagem e vídeo, para compor os elementos específicos de análise do corpus em estudo e, juntamente com outros autores, poder analisá-lo a partir de um referencial teórico mais heterogêneo. Os resultados apontam para a maestria de Björk, refletida na evidência de sua capacidade artística de transmutar singularmente a sensação de dor – e, por extensão, transcriar-se a si mesma – para as três dimensões sígnicas supracitadas, aguçando esse elemento em suas traduções. Conclui-se, portanto, que a presente pesquisa se faz relevante para o fomento dos Estudos da Tradução e, mais especificamente, para proporcionar melhor compreensão sobre fenômenos concernentes à tradução intersemiótica.

Apresenta uma reflexão acerca de notícias virtuais que abordam o tema natureza nos sites da WWF-Brasil e da Greenpeace-Brasil. A pesquisa objetivou detectar se as notícias veiculadas são coerentes com o enunciado das respectivas missões dos sites. Selecionaram-se duas notícias vinculadas ao tema em cada site; estas foram analisadas quanto à relação de coerência ou não com os objetivos estabelecidos pelas próprias organizações. O estudo, desenvolvido em quatro capítulos, utiliza a linguagem metafórica para estabelecer uma relação entre o bordado do ponto cruz e a história; traça um percurso por diferentes épocas, temas e fotógrafos; reflete sobre o uso da linguagem imagética presente nos textos de notícias virtuais; e a liberdade de criar novas imagens, resgatar memórias e despertar sentidos, com base na leitura das fotografias inseridas nas reportagens analisadas. A observação, usada como método para interpretar e descrever, revela que as notícias publicadas pelas duas ONGs se apropriam da linguagem escrita e da linguagem fotográfica, empregando suas potencialidades para despertar sentidos e apresentar e/ou representar realidades como recursos de persuasão dirigidos aos visitantes dos sites. / Abstract: The present study it elapses of the interest in depth knowledge's referring to the imagetic language use in the internet reporters, that one consists, in the present time, in the media more dynamic and fast. It presents a reflection concerning virtual notices that approach the subject nature in the sites of WWF-Brazil and Greenpeace- Brazil. The research objectified to detect if the propagated notice are coherent with the statement of the respective sites missions. Two entailed notice to the subject in each site had been selected; these had been analyzed how much to the relation of coherence or not with the objectives established for the proper organizations. The study, developed in four chapters, it uses the metaphoric language to establish a relation of the point cross' embroidery and the history; it traces a passage for different times, subjects and photographers; it reflects on the use of the imagetic language to present in the virtual notice texts and, the freedom to create new images, to rescue memories and the to awake senses decurrent of the photographs' reading inserted in the articles analyzed. The observation, used as method to interpret and to describe, discloses that the notice published for the two ONGs if appropriate of the written language and the photographic language, using its potentialities to awake senses and to present and/or to represent realities as persuasion resources directed of the sites' visitors. / Mestre

De acordo com nossa pesquisa, as preposi??es ?de? e ?para? podem ser consideradas como itens poliss?micos, pois cada uma dessas preposi??es, individualmente, pode atribuir diferentes significados ao seu objeto de refer?ncia, e esses significados podem estar ligados cognitivamente por meio de uma representa??o espacial conceitual de trajet?ria. Segundo Ilari et al. (2008), as preposi??es ?de? e ?para? s?o preposi??es que ocupam posi??es de ponto de origem e ponto final, respectivamente, em uma trajet?ria espacial de eixo horizontal. No entanto, o uso b?sico dessas preposi??es, ou seja, aquele em que conseguimos interpretar um significado diretamente ligado a um espa?o f?sico, pode ser estendido para outros significados, que podem ser interpretados conceptualmente como espaciais. Para uma interpreta??o metaf?rica do esquema imag?tico de trajet?ria, Jackendoff (1983; 1992) prop?e a Hip?tese de Rela??o Tem?tica, em que os significados espaciais conceituais das preposi??es, podem ser explicados atrav?s de campos sem?nticos distintos. Essa possibilidade de extens?o, para significados espaciais conceituais, ? baseada na experi?ncia corporificada dos falantes, pois quando interpretamos, de maneira conceitual, um item lexical, afirmamos que o mundo real nos fornece o substrato para nossas percep??es sensoriais e as conceitua??es decorrentes dele. Atrav?s dessa experi?ncia, constru?mos inconscientemente experi?ncias estruturais de significados, que s?o esquemas imag?ticos, e proje??es metaf?ricas (JOHNSON, 1987). Desse modo, levantamos a hip?tese de que os diferentes significados estabelecidos pelas preposi??es ?de? e ?para? podem ter rela??o entre si, isto ?, o mesmo esquema de imagem, corroborando a ideia de polissemia dessas preposi??es. Como metodologia de pesquisa, faremos an?lises das rela??es sem?nticas de senten?as do portugu?s brasileiro, em que as preposi??es ?de? e ?para? estabelecem rela??es de significado, buscando identificar, por meio da teoria de Hip?tese de Rela??o Tem?tica, a rela??o dos significados conceituais, de seus respectivos campos sem?nticos, com os significados espaciais de base. / This work employs Jackendoff?s localist approach (1983; 1992) to advance a proposal for a description of the polysemy of prepositions ?from? and ?to? in Brazilian Portuguese. According to our research, prepositions ?from? and ?to? can be considered polysemic items, given that each of these prepositions, individually, can attribute different meanings to its object of reference and these meanings can be cognitively related by a spatial-conceptual representation of trajectory. According to Ilari et al. (2008), the prepositions ?from? and ?to? occupy the origin and the final positions, respectively, in a spatial trajectory of the horizontal axis. However, the basic use of these prepositions, that is, the one in which we are able to interpret a meaning directly related to a physical space, can be extended to other meanings that can be conceptually interpreted as spatial. For a metaphoric interpretation of the imagetic scheme of the trajectory, Jackendoff (1983; 1992) proposes the Thematic Relation Hypothesis, according to which the spatial-conceptual spaces of prepositions can be explained through distinct semantic fields. This possibility of extension for spatial-conceptual meanings is based on the embodied experience of the speakers, because when we interpret conceptually a lexical item, we state that the real world furnishes us a substratum for our sensorial perceptions and for the conceptualizations that follow from it. Through this experience we unconsciously build structural experiences of meanings that are imagetic schemes, and metaphoric projections (JOHNSON, 1987). Thus, we hypothesize that the different meanings established by prepositions ?from? and ?to? can be related among themselves, that is, they have the same image scheme, corroborating the idea of a polysemy for these prepositions. We propose that through embodiment the speaker is able to extend cognitively the meaning of a lexical item to other conceptual meanings, that is, the basic spatial use of a preposition can be extended to metaphoric uses whose interpretation, of a spatial character, can be recovered through the semantic fields proposed by Jackendoff (1983; 1992). The semantic fields we shall deal with in this work are: Temporal, Possessional, Identificational, Circumstantial and Existential. Thus, we establish as the goals of our research as follows: a) to present the meaning relations established by prepositions ?from? and ?to?; b) to present the congnitive process of the embodied experience; c) to present the imagetic scheme of these two prepositions and d) the connection of non-spatial semantic fields, of the semantic relations of these propositions, within a localist approach. As our research methodology, we will analyze the semantic relations of Brazilian Portuguese sentences in which prepositions ?from? and ?to? establish meaning relationships, trying to identify, through the theory of the Thematic Relation Hypothesis, the relation of conceptual meanings, their respective semantic fields, with special base meanings.

Este trabalho objetivou verificar como vem sendo utilizada a videoeducação na educação presencial, buscando elaborar um levantamento dos problemas que podem surgir de sua utilização na educação à distância com mediação da informática E@D. Para isso, partiu-se da verificação de como ela vem sendo abordada na educação presencial e de que forma o cinema, enquanto obra de arte presentificado nos espaços educativos, contribui para a construção do conhecimento; e, em que medida, a videoeducação poderá ser potencializada, na E@D, visando à construção desse conhecimento. Foram considerados os conceitos de linguagem, em Saussure, e a questão sociointerativa, em Vigotsky. Paralelamente, no viés de Iser e Eco, mostrou-se a proficiência do leitor na construção do conhecimento. A investigação das NTICs no universo educacional fundamentadas por Lévy e Morin, e por Nóvoa, apontam em que medida o professor está preparado para esse advento e, se não, como ele incorpora o novo paradigma de aprendizagem, agora permeada pela cultura midiática, levando-nos a concluir que a videoeducação ainda não se constituiu como um recurso estratégico na ocupação dos espaços educativos, nem tampouco, nas interações cotidianas promovidas pelos sujeitos sociais / The aim of this dissertation was to verifay how videoeducation have been being used in the classroom, and to survey the problems that may come up in its utilization in video education mediated by computer science distance education, DE. Research on its aproach in classroom instruction, o how cinema as a form of art present in educational environments contribute to the construction of knowledge, and to what extent video education might be made effective in DE, aiming at the building of such knowledge, has been used as a starting point, for which Saussure`s language concepts and Vigotsky`s social interaction issue were considered. Parallel to this, through the view of Iser and Eco, the proficiency of the reader in the construction of knowledge was presented. The investigation of the use of IT (information technology) in the educational environment was based on Lévy and Morin, as well as on Nóvoa, indicating how prepared teachers are and, in case this preparation does not exist, how they incorporate the new learning paradigm, which is pervaded by the mass media culture; the conclusion is that video education has not yet became a strategic resource to be used in educational milieu, neither in daily interactions in society

The study, developed in four chapters, it uses the metaphoric language to establish a relation of the point cross’ embroidery and the history; it traces a passage for different times, subjects and photographers; it reflects on the use of the imagetic language to present in the virtual notice texts and, the freedom to create new images, to rescue memories and the to awake senses decurrent of the photographs' reading inserted in the articles analyzed. The observation, used as method to interpret and to describe, discloses that the notice published for the two ONGs if appropriate of the written language and the photographic language, using its potentialities to awake senses and to present and/or to represent realities as persuasion resources directed of the sites’ visitors.

This study ties in with the History of Education, linked to the following research area Teaching of History and Historical Knowledge, focused on Historical Culture. Thus, this study was grounded by studies of Choppin (2004); Bittencourt (2004) Gatti Jr. (2004) Cassiano (2007) Munakata (2012), dealing with processes of production, choice and textbooks distribution. For this research, we used quantitative and qualitative methodologies, hence, we mapped the History textbooks distributed during the period of time aforementioned, then we came to the following titles: História – Edição Reformulada, with 1997 edition, of the Editora FTD e Projeto Araribá História, with 2010 edition, of the Editora Moderna. Futhermore, based on the theoretical perspective of Chartier (2002), we considered the black female representations made in the literary texts of XIX century, in the novel Casa Grande e Senzala de Freyre (2003) and in the textbook produced from 1980 to 2010. To analyse the iconographies present in the school-books we used studies by Mauad (2007) and Bueno (2011), setting up a method of images reading. This way, we observed the black female images stereotyped in the contents from the History of Brazil, seeking to discuss changes and continuity in the representations enshrined by the school historiography, as in "mulatto" and "black mother", produced by the literary messages, doctors and oficial historiography. Therefore, we comprehend that the representations contained in the visual images of History textbooks may influence on the students' identity construction. / O presente trabalho dissertativo tem como proposta a leitura de imagens visuais que retrataram mulheres negras nos livros didáticos de História para o Ensino Fundamental produzidos nos anos de 1997 e 2010 e em circulação nas escolas públicas do município de João Pessoa-PB, nos períodos de 2000-2001 e 2013-2014. O estudo se insere no campo da História da Educação, vinculado à linha de pesquisa Ensino de História e Saberes Históricos, com área de concentração em Cultura Histórica. Desse modo, nos aportamos nos estudos de Choppin (2004); Bittencourt (2004) Gatti Jr. (2004) Cassiano (2007) Munakata (2012), tratando sobre os processos de produção, escolha e distribuição dos livros didáticos. Para a pesquisa, utilizamos metodologias quantitativas e qualitativas, assim, fizemos o levantamento dos títulos de História distribuídos nos períodos supracitados, chegando as coleções didáticas: História – Edição Reformulada, com edição de 1997, da Editora FTD e Projeto Araribá História, com edição de 2010, da Editora Moderna. Ademais, tomando a perspectiva teórica de Chartier (2002), consideramos as representações femininas negras construídas nos textos literários do século XIX, na obra Casa Grande e Senzala de Freyre (2003) e na literatura didática produzida no período de 1980 a 2010. Para analisar as iconografias presentes nos livros escolares usamos os estudos de Mauad (2007) e Bueno (2011), montando um método de leitura de imagens. Dessa forma, observamos as imagens femininas negras veiculadas nos conteúdos de História do Brasil, buscando discutir as mudanças e as permanências nas representações consagradas pela historiografia didática, como a da “mulata” e da “mãe preta”, produzidas pelos discursos literários, médicos e pela historiografia oficial. Portanto, compreendemos que as representações contidas nas imagens visuais dos livros didáticos de História podem influenciar na construção identitária dos/as alunos/as.
