Liberté, Égalité, Bien Habillée : Feminine socio-cultural norms from a fashion magazine in the context of the French Directoire, 1797–99Arghittu, Chiara January 2022 (has links)
The Journal des Dames et des Modes started its publication in 1797 and was de facto the only popular and lasting fashion magazine aimed towards women since the fall of its predecessor, even prior to 1789. This study argues that this fashion magazine both reflected and constituted the mindset of the new regime’s elite. The French Directoire (1795-1799) was a short-lived but intense regime characterised by its transformative nature and excesses to redefine society’s order and limits. The Journal, although trivial in aspect, participated in this effort by moralising a frivolous part of the female population through the entertainment it proposed, making it a fun yet pedagogical tool in the hands of the dominating bourgeois mindset. The periodical spread socio-cultural norms that were in accordance with the regime’s main concern – public good. And although not active per se in politics, women had their role to play as far as public utility was concerned, that of the civic mother – their designated form of citizenship. However, the readers of the Journal were more engaged in the mundane and cultural world, which demonstrated high permeability and reciprocity with politics. So, while women typically embodied the private sphere and personal concerns, contrary to men who represented the public sphere and public good, the women of the Directoire were the first ones to set the tendency of blurring lines between individual and common concerns – an ambivalent stance which is aligned with the transformative aspect of the regime.

Bakgrund Användningen av den elektroniska journalen (e-journalen) har sedan år 2020 ökatexceptionellt, delvis till följd av Covid-19 pandemin. Legitimerad hälso- och sjukvårdpersonal är enligt lag skyldiga att dokumentera vårdbesök. E-journalen är ett verktyg för alla som medverkar kring patientens vård och är ett sätt att dela vårdinformation med andra vårdgivare vilket bidrar till en bättre och säkrare vård. Syfte Syftet var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av att ha tillgång till egen e-journal. Metod Icke-systematisk litteraturöversikt som baserats på 15 vetenskapliga originalartiklar med kvantitativ, kvalitativ och mixad metod. PubMed och CINHAL användes som databaser för sökningen som utfördes med hjälp av indexord i kombination med fritextsökningar. Artiklarna genomgick en kvalitetsgranskning baserad på Sophiahemmet Högskolas bedömningsunderlag för vetenskaplig klassificering. Resultatet sammanställdes och analyserades utifrån en integrerad dataanalys. Resultat Resultatet sammanställdes i två huvudkategorier och fem underkategorier. Huvudkategorierna var: Upplevda fördelar av tillgången till e-journalen och Upplevda nackdelar av tillgången till e-journalen. Resultatet visade att de upplevda fördelarna bland annat var en upplevd förbättrad kommunikation mellan vårdpersonal och patienter och en känsla av delaktighet hos patienten. Andra upplevda fördelar var en ökad kunskap för sin sjukdom och sin vård samt en förbättrad möjlighet till egenvård. Upplevda nackdelar anspelar på patientens upplevelse av rädsla och oro kring e-journalen samt språkliga och tekniska svårigheter ett internetbeserat verktyg kan ge. Slutsats Tillgången till e-journalen upplevs i helhet som positiv av patienter. E-journalen kan ses som ett verktyg för dem att bli mer delaktiga i sin vård, få en bättre kunskap om sin vård samt öka sin förmåga till egenvård. Dock framkom även negativa aspekter, så som oro samt språkliga och tekniska svårigheter som inte bör ignoreras. Hälso-och sjukvårdspersonal bör ha insikt i dessa upplevda för-och nackdelar för att kunna stärka de positiva upplevelserna samt förebygga och förhindra de negativa utfallen av e-journalen. / Background Since 2020, the use of the e-journal has increased exceptionally, partly as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. All licensed healthcare professionals are obliged by law to document healthcare visits. Electric health records (EHR) can be used by all involved in a patient’s care and is a way to share information between healthcare professionals. This in turn provides safer and better healthcare. Aim The aim was to describe patients' experiences of having access to their electronic health records. Method Non-systematic literature review based on 15 original scientific articles using quantitative and qualitative methods. PubMed and CINHAL were used as databases for the search, which was performed using index words in combination with free text searches. The articles underwent a quality review based on Sophiahemmet University's assessment documents for scientific classification and quality regarding studies with a quantitative and qualitative method approach. The results were compiled and analyzed based on integrated data analysis. Results The results were compiled into two main categories and five subcategories. The main categories were: Perceived benefits of access to EHRs and Perceived disadvantages of access to EHRs. The result showed that perceived benefits were improved communication between healthcare professionals and patients and an improved feeling of participation for the patient. Other perceived benefits were the patients’ understanding of the illness and their care, as well as improving the patients’ opportunities for self-care. Perceived obstacles and disadvantages allude to the patients’ experience of fear and anxiety around EHR as well as the difficulties in language and technical obstacles an internet-based tool can cause. Conclusions Access to EHR is generally perceived as positive by patients. EHRs can be seen as a tool for them to become more involved in their care, gain a better knowledge of their care and increase their ability to self-care. However, negative aspects also emerged, such as anxiety and linguistic and technical difficulties that should not be ignored. Healthcare professionals should have insight into these perceived benefits as well as perceived obstacles to strengthen the positive experiences as well as prevent the negative outcomes of EHRs.

Den prehospitala vården är en viktig del av den svenska sjukvården, vårdprocessen innefattar all vård patient får utanför sjukhus. Den prehospitala vårdens kvalitet varierar hos olika landsting beroende på deras tekniska utrustningar och arbetsmetoder. Detta arbete utreder hur Region Kronoberg (RK) och Stockholms Läns Landsting (SLL) hanterar IT- och informationssäkerhet inom den prehospitala vården, då framförallt inom ambulanssjukvården. Arbetet har utförts via litteraturstudie kring lagar och riktlinjer som påverkar den prehospitala vården och sedan utfördes intervjuer för att finna hur RK och SLL hanterar patientjournaler. Arbetet visar att RK och SLL har jobbat olika länge med att digitalisera den prehospitala vårdprocessen, men att de idag använder lika säkra arbetsmetoder. Anledningen till detta är att bådas lösningar grundas i användandet av det säkra nätverket Sjunet. Vidare visade det sig att RK och SLL har olika grundförutsättningar för journalåtkomst. Avslutningsvis finner detta arbete inga säkerhetsrisker i anslutningen till de digitala journalsystemen, men att användandet av mobila enheter som lagrar journal utgör en säkerhetsrisk. / Prehospital care is an important part of the Swedish health system, the care process is dedicated to any kind of emergency out-of-hospital acute medical care. The quality of prehospital care varies between different counties, depending on their technical equipment and work methods. This essay investigates how Region Kronoberg (RK) and Stockholm’s County Council (SLL) have dealt with IT- and information security questions concerning prehospital care. The essay is conducted by collecting laws and guidelines related to IT-security. Interviews were later on conducted with intention to collect information about RK’s and SLL’s definition of accessibility and communication of patient journals This essay shows that RK and SLL begun digitizing their prehospital care at different times, but that they are as in now able to use equally safe methods for dealing with journals. The reason behind this is that they both root their solutions in the secluded network Sjunet. It is further concluded that SLL and RK have different prerequisites for journal access. Lastly, we could conclude that the greatest security risk is not associated with the connection between hardware, but rather misplacing any hardware containing delicate information.

The present work focuses on the test method for the investigation of combined journal-thrust bearings. In simple applications, radial or thrust bearings are separated physically and can be considered as stand-alone machine elements. These can each be dimensioned by established calculation models. In compact designs, combined bearings must be used due to space savings. In this case, the bearing parts are present as a unit in which the axial part is supplied with lubricant from the radial part. If the bearing parts are treated separately, the oil outlet temperature of the radial part can serve as the input variable for the axial part. In this case, both the coupled thermal conduction between the running surfaces through the material and the pressure interaction between the two bearing parts are neglected. The thermal coupling of the bearing parts leads to an overall higher thermal load. The pressure interaction affects the respective volume flow, which also has a significant influence on the respective bearing temperatures.
The development and validation of a simulation program required accompanying extensive measurements on the real bearing. For this purpose, the development of a suitable test bench for applying a combined radial and axial load is to be presented in this paper. In addition, the measurement procedures will be discussed, such as the determination of pressure and temperature in the bearing surfaces and the transition areas between journal and thrust bearing parts. Finally, the temperature distribution between a pure radial load on a journal bearing and a combined load on the identical journal-thrust bearing will be compared using the example of an operating point.

Die Aufgabe, ein passendes Journal zu finden, ist auf Grund von verschiedenen Einschränkungen nicht von Hand zu erledigen. Um also diese Problematik zu behandeln, entwickelt die aktuelle Untersuchung ein Journal-Empfehlungssystem, das – in einer Komponente – die inhaltlichen Ähnlichkeiten zwischen einem Manuskript und den existierenden Zeitschriftenartikeln in einem Korpus vergleicht. Das stellt die inhaltsbasierte Empfehlungskomponente des Systems dar. Zusätzlich beinhaltet das System eine wissensbasierte Empfehlungskomponente, um die Anforderungen des Autors bezüglich der Veröffentlichung auf Basis von 15 Journal-Auswahlkriterien zu berücksichtigen. Das neue System gibt Empfehlungen aus den im Directory of Open Access Journals indizierten Journals für zwei verschiedene Themengebiete: Medizin und Sozialwissenschaften. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Autoren aus den Themengebieten Medizin und Sozialwissenschaften mit den Empfehlungen des Systems zu 66,2% bzw. 58,8% einverstanden waren. Darüber hinaus wurde 35,5% der Autoren aus dem Bereich Medizin und 40,4% der Autoren aus den Sozialwissenschaften ein oder mehrere Journal(s) vorgeschlagen, das bzw. die für die Publikation besser geeignet war(en) als das Journal, in dem sie den Artikel veröffentlich hatten. Die durchschnittliche Leistung des Systems zeigte eine Abnahme von 15% in Medizin bzw. 18% in Sozialwissenschaften verglichen mit den gleichen Empfehlungen bei einer optimalen Sortierung. Leistungsverluste von 22,4% im Fach Medizin und 28,4% in den Sozialwissenschaften ergaben sich, wenn die durchschnittliche Leistung mit einem System verglichen wurde, das geeignete Empfehlungen für die 10 besten Resultate in der optimalen Reihenfolge sortiert abruft. Die vom Hybrid-Modell Empfehlungen zeigen zwar eine etwas bessere Leistung als die inhaltsbasierte Komponente, die Verbesserung war aber nicht statistisch signifikant. / The task of finding appropriate journals cannot be accomplished manually due to a number of limitations of the approach. Therefore, to address this issue, the current research develops a journal recommender system with two components: the first component compares the content similarities between a manuscript and the existing journal articles in a corpus. This represents the content-based recommender component of the system. In addition, the system includes a knowledge-based recommender component to consider authors’ publication requirements based on 15 journal selection factors. The new system makes recommendations from the open access journals indexed in the directory of open access journals for two distinct subject domains, namely medicine and social sciences. The results indicated that the authors from medicine and social sciences agree with the recommender’s suggestions by 66.2% and 58.8% respectively. Moreover, 35.5% of medicine and 40.4% of social sciences authors were suggested more appropriate journal(s) than the journal they already published in. Average performance of the system demonstrated 15% and 18% performance loss in medicine and social sciences respectively against the same suggestions after arranging according to the most appropriate order. Numbers were reported as 22.4% and 28.4% of loss in medicine and social sciences respectively when the average performance was compared with a system that retrieves appropriate suggestions for all 10 topmost results according to the most appropriate order. Although the hybrid recommender demonstrated a slight advancement of performance than the content-based component, the improvement was not statistically significant.

Bakgrund: Sju till 20 % av den svenska befolkningen har omfattande benförlust och 40 % har kronisk parodontit. Gingivit och viss förlust av tändernas stödjevävnader ses hos nästan alla vuxna. Syfte: Syftet med journalstudien var att beskriva parodontalt status hos patienter som undersökts av tandhygieniststuderande på tandhygienistprogrammet, Högskolan Kristianstad. Metod: En empirisk studie med kvantitativ metod har använts. Data från 103 patientjournaler har sammanställts. Resultat: Resultatet baseras på patienter med en ålder mellan 21-83 år. På patientnivå var medelvärdet för antal tänder 26,2, plackindex 45,7 % och blödningsindex 23,6 %. Tandköttsfickor 5-6 mm var vanligast vid tänderna 48 (13 %) och 38 (11,4 %). Tandköttsfickor >6 mm förekom vanligast vid tänderna 38 (2,3 %) och 26 (2 %). Slutsats: Medelvärdet för plackindex ligger mycket högt (45,7 %) och står inte i proportion till blödningsindex (23,6 %). Tandköttsfickor >6 mm var sällsynt och var vanligast förekommande vid molarer. Tandköttsfickorna tenderade att vara djupare posteriort i munnen och hos äldre individer. / Background: Seven to 20 % of the Swedish population have extensive bone loss and 40 % have chronic periodontitis. Gingivitis and some loss of tooth supporting tissues are seen with almost all adults. Aim: The aim of the journal study was to describe periodontal status in patients who were examined by dental hygiene students at the Dental Hygienist Programme at the University of Kristianstad. Method: An empirical study was done using a quantitative method. Data from 103 patient records were compiled. Result: The result is based on patients between the ages of 21-83. At the patient level, the mean value of teeth was 26,2, plaque index 45,7 % and bleeding index 23,6 %. Periodontal pockets 5-6 mm were most common in the teeth 48 (13 %) and 38 (11,4 %). Periodontal pockets >6 mm were most common in the teeth 38 (2,3 %) and 26 (2 %). Conclusion: The mean plaque index is very high (45,7 %) and is not in proportion to the bleeding index (23,6 %). Periodontal pockets >6 mm were rare and most common at molars. Gingival pockets tended to be deeper posterior in the mouth and in older individuals.

Étude des catégories de réflexion sur l’action d’enseignantes et d’enseignants novices à l’ordre d’études collégiales, secteur techniqueLefebvre, Julie January 2016 (has links)
Notre recherche doctorale s’intéresse aux enseignantes et enseignants novices à l’ordre d’études collégiales qui oeuvrent au secteur technique. Selon de nombreux auteurs, leur entrée en fonction est marquée par l’isolement, par la précarité d’emploi et par une carence en formation pédagogique (Galaise, 2009; Lauzon, 2002). Ces conditions ne favorisent pas leur insertion professionnelle et se soldent trop souvent par des pratiques par tâtonnement qui ne leur permettent pas de s’adapter adéquatement à leur nouvelle profession (Lauzon, 2002). Ce manque de contrôle relatif en début de carrière engendre chez plusieurs enseignantes et enseignants novices un niveau de stress élevé et un délai important avant d’avoir l’impression de tirer des apprentissages de la pratique (Ibid).
À cet égard, la pratique réflexive a été identifiée comme pouvant contribuer à l’amélioration de l’enseignement (Bessette et Duquette, 2003; De Cock, Wibault et Paquay, 2006; Holborn, 1992; Lacroix, 2008; Schön, 1983). Toutefois, il appert que les enseignantes et les enseignants ne savent pas toujours comment en tirer parti. L’utilisation d’outils réflexifs simples, accessibles et minimalement connus par les enseignantes et les enseignants novices permettrait de stimuler leur réflexion sur l’action et les rendrait plus autonomes en début de carrière.
Le cadre conceptuel auquel nous nous sommes référé dans cette recherche fait appel à trois concepts-clés soit la pratique réflexive, la pensée réflexive et la réflexion. Le modèle de la démarche réflexive d’Holborn (1992) a permis de dynamiser le processus réflexif tandis que les catégories de réflexion proposées par Mezirow (1981) favorisent une analyse de la démarche réflexive entamée par les enseignantes et les enseignants novices. À ce propos, bon nombre d’auteurs ont utilisé le terme de « niveau » pour indiquer une hiérarchie dans les contenus de réflexion. Comme nous

le verrons plus loin, nous lui avons préféré le terme de « catégorie » pour écarter cette idée de gradation en privilégiant une approche qui tient compte des dimensions individuelles et met l’accent sur la diversité de l’expérience humaine.
Des objectifs spécifiques ont été dégagés des modèles convoqués, mentionnons entre autres, notre intérêt à : 1) décrire les catégories de réflexion exprimées par des enseignants et des enseignantes novices au cours de leur réflexion sur l’action; 2) préciser les catégories de réflexion exprimées lors de l’utilisation des différents outils proposés; 3) mettre en évidence l’apport des différents outils servant à soutenir le développement de la pratique réflexive selon la perception des enseignantes et des enseignants novices. Cette recherche exploratoire de type qualitatif a été réalisée auprès d’enseignantes et d’enseignants novices provenant des départements des techniques de Prothèses dentaires et des techniques de Denturologie qui ont expérimenté les différents outils sélectionnés (journal de bord, autoévaluation, rétroaction vidéo, autoconfrontation simple) pour soutenir leur réflexion. Un accompagnement leur a été proposé par des collègues expérimentés afin qu’ils se familiarisent avec les outils. Enfin, l’appréciation des outils par les participantes et les participants a été recueillie grâce à des entrevues semi-dirigées.
À la suite de cette expérimentation qui s’est déroulée sur une année scolaire au collégial, les résultats nous permettent de conclure que les novices développent une meilleure compréhension du processus de réflexion sur l’action et ils utilisent mieux les outils mis à leur disposition au fur et à mesure qu’ils y sont exposés. Les novices sont davantage en mesure de fournir des interprétations logiques et explicites de leurs actions. Nos résultats montrent que les participantes et les participants sollicitent des catégories de réflexion variées lorsqu’ils réfléchissent sur leur pratique. Enfin, les outils semblent contribuer de manière positive à la découverte de significations émergeant de la pratique et ils permettent de bonifier leurs actions pédagogiques.

Des retombées sur la pratique enseignante au collégial auront un effet favorable grâce à une utilisation plus éclairée des outils soutenant le développement de la pratique réflexive. D’ailleurs, ces derniers pourront être considérés dans le cadre de l’élaboration et de la mise en place de programmes favorisant la formation continue sur le plan pédagogique, sur le plan de l’insertion et du développement professionnel lors de l’entrée en fonction des novices puisque les outils leur permettront d’avoir une meilleure compréhension de leur pratique enseignante.

Το περιοδικό "Μπουκέτο" κυκλοφόρησε για πρώτη φορά τον Απρίλιο του 1924 και συνέχισε χωρίς διακοπή μέχρι το 1946. Πρόκειται για ένα περιοδικό ποικίλης ύλης με πλούσιο λογοτεχνικό περιεχόμενο, με το οποίο συνεργάστηκαν σημαντικά ονόματα της νεοελληνικής φιλολογίας: ο Μήτσος Παπανικολάου, ο Ναπολέων Λαπαθιώτης, ο Παύλος Νιρβάνας, ο Γρηγόριος Ξενόπουλος, ο Σταμάτης Σταματίου και πολλοί άλλοι. Στο εισαγωγικό μέρος της εργασίας παρουσιάζονται τα στοιχεία ταυτότητας του περιοδικού και οι συνεργασίες του, επιχειρείται μια γενική ανάλυση του περιεχομένου και της θεματολογίας του και μια σύντομη εξέταση της σχέσης του με το αναγνωστικό κοινό. Το κύριο μέρος αποτελούν τα ευρετήρια των περιεχομένων, αρχικά κατά τεύχος και ακολουθούν τα ευρετήρια των ονομάτων. / The "Bouketo" magazine was first released in April 1924 and continued to be published without interruption until 1946. It is a magazine with a rich literary content, with which important names of modern Greek literature were affiliated, such as Mitsos Papanikolaou, Napoleon Lapathiotis, Pavlos Nirvanas, Grigorios Xenopoulos, Stamatis Stamatiou and many others. In the introductory part of the study, there is a presentation of the magazine’s identity and collaborations as well as a general analysis of its content and themes presented and, also, a brief examination of its relationship with the audience. The main part consists of the contents indexes, first by issue, followed by the names indexes.
