Este trabalho realizou uma investigação descritiva nos sistemas integrados de gestão empresarial desenvolvidos sob o modelo de software livre. O objetivo foi obter um levantamento de informações que pudessem auxiliar na fase de seleção de um sistema de informação. O trabalho apresenta conceitos de software livre, sistemas de informação e informações sobre tecnologia em pequenas empresas sob os aspectos de equipamentos, pessoas e utilização de software. Foram abordados três aspectos na descrição dos sistemas: viabilidade de instalação, funcionalidades e usabilidade. O estudo foi realizado dentro de um referencial teórico qualitativo-positivista, com objetivo metodológico descritivo, utilizando como delineamento o levantamento. A base de dados para extração das amostras foi o site SourceForge, um repositório de software livre. A seleção de amostras foi feita em fases múltiplas e possibilitou uma análise sobre as características dos aplicativos de forma geral e depois uma análise mais detalhada dos programas selecionados. Os resultados apontam para a escassez de pessoal capacitado tanto para uso da tecnologia na pequena empresa quanto com experiência no desenvolvimento de software livre, mas revelam a viabilidade de instalação do software livre na pequena empresa, uma vez que o hardware necessário ao funcionamento dos sistemas está presente em seu ambiente, bem como a existência de sistemas integrados de gestão bastante adaptáveis às pequenas empresas. / This present dissertation deals a descriptive investigation on integrated management information system based on free software model. The objective was to obtain a survey of information that could help the selection phase of an information system. The work presents concepts of free software, information systems and data on technology in small companies having in view equipment, peopleware and software use. Three aspects of the description of systems were analysed: viability of installation, functionalities and usability. The study was performed within a qualitative-positive theoretical reference, with a descriptive methodology objective and using the survey as delineation. The database for extraction of the samples was the SourceForge site, a repository of free software. The selection of samples was made in multiple phases and allowed for a general analysis of the characteristics of softwares and a detailed analysis of selected software. The results show a scarcity of people able for use technology in the small companies and experienced people in the development of free software. However the same results show viability of installing free software in the small company, as the necessary hardware is present in their environment, as well as the existence of integrated management systems sufficiently adaptable to the small companies.

We report the problems encountered in important areas of the HEI as the financial, academic and office/coordination, the possible solutions presented and its consequences, in order to minimize the difficulties experienced in everyday life of institutions on the use of budget planning, strategic and financial. Checks is what were the benefits that strategic planning and information system created for the private HEIs, through multiple case study and literature review on the subject, explaining basic concepts and classifications. The survey consisted of verifying that, with regard to private institutions of higher education organizations with demands and needs, and differentiated, the strategic plan and strengthen its performance GIS, generating information fast, efficient, accurate and especially useful to ensure a structuring differentiated management, improving the process of decision making by managers. Objetiva-se apresentar os problemas detectados em áreas importantes das IES como os setores financeiro, acadêmico e secretaria/coordenação, as possíveis soluções apresentadas e suas consequências, com o intuito de minimizar as dificuldades vivenciadas no dia a dia das instituições quanto ao uso do planejamento orçamentário, estratégico e financeiro. Verifica quais foram os benefícios que o planejamento estratégico e o sistema de informação trouxeram para as IES particulares, através de estudo de caso múltiplo e revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema, expondo conceitos e classificações básicas. A pesquisa consistiu em constatar que, no tocante às instituições de ensino superior privadas, organizações com demandas e necessidades específicas e diferenciadas, o plano estratégico e o SIG fortalecem sua atuação, gerando informações rápidas, eficazes, precisas e, principalmente, úteis, que garantem uma estruturação de gestão diferenciada, incrementando o processo de tomada de decisões pelos gestores. In this context, managers have tools available, like the Management Information System and the Decision Support System, that help make the decision making process transparent and to justify the decision. To support the sustainability and continuity of the company, the decisions must be aligned with its values, beliefs and principles, in other words, with the Managerial Model adopted. This Model must serve as a support to the Management Information Systems concept. Although the Management Information System is widely distributed and utilized by managers, the Support Decision Systems are not. The objective of this study is to identify if the public company s managers are aware of and make use of MIS and the Support Decision Systems as tools to support the decision making process. Additionally the study aims to verify if, in the opinion of the selected companies managers, the Managerial Model is reflected in the adopted MIS. This study was performed as a survey, in which 504 public company s managers participated. The survey, performed with closed questions, questions with responses required to be put in order of importance, and questions requiring scoring, were statistically treated, using the statistical software SPSS version 16.0. The results were analyzed and it was verified that, although the researched companies managers either make use of MIS as a tool to support the decision making process or consider important the Support Decision Systems, they are not aware of the more sophisticated multi-feature methods / O cenário extremamente competitivo no qual as organizações estão inseridas exige dos gestores uma racionalidade face às dificuldades que surgem no momento da tomada de decisão, quando eles se deparam com a necessidade de avaliar alternativas utilizando critérios quantitativos e qualitativos. Nesse contexto, os gestores têm à sua disposição ferramentas como o Sistema de Informações Gerenciais e os Métodos de Apoio à Tomada de Decisão que tornam o processo decisório transparente e ajudam a fundamentar a decisão. Como forma de garantir a sustentabilidade e continuidade da empresa, as decisões devem estar alinhadas com seus valores, crenças e princípios, isto é, com o Modelo de Gestão adotado. Esse Modelo deve servir de suporte na concepção do Sistema de Informações Gerenciais. Enquanto o Sistema de Informações Gerenciais é bastante difundido e utilizado pelos gestores, os Métodos de Apoio à Tomada de Decisão ainda são pouco difundidos e utilizados por eles. O objetivo deste estudo é identificar se os gestores das empresas de capital aberto conhecem e fazem uso do SIG e dos Métodos de Apoio à Tomada de Decisão como ferramentas de apoio no processo decisório. Objetiva-se também observar, através da opinião dos gestores das empresas pesquisadas, se o Modelo de Gestão está retratado no SIG por elas adotado. Este estudo foi realizado através de um survey, da qual participaram 504 gestores de empresas de capital aberto. As respostas ao questionário com questões fechadas, de ordenação e de notas foram tratadas estatisticamente, com a utilização do software estatístico SPSS versão 16.0. Os resultados obtidos foram analisados e verificou-se que apesar dos gestores de primeiro escalão das empresas pesquisadas fazerem uso do SIG como ferramenta de apoio no processo decisório e de considerarem importante os métodos de Apoio à Tomada de Decisão, nenhum deles conhecem os métodos multiatributos mais sofisticados

Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar as principais ferramentas de monitoramento do Planejamento estratégico visto o grau de importância de tal monitoramento, para que a empresa mantenha-se em linha com seus objetivos de crescimento e abrangência de mercado. Pra que exista de fato tal monitoramento são necessárias ferramentas como adoção de Sistemas de informações gerenciais, Mapeamento de processos, acompanhamento do Mapa estratégico de negócios e uso do painel de controle promovido pelo Balanced scorecard. Para que exista uma real competitividade entre as empresas atuantes no mercado faz-se necessário que haja uma linha clara de comunicação, a fim de que todos os envolvidos nos mais diversos processos tenham conhecimento de quais os objetivos da empresa, bem como suas premissas de crescimento, e para que todos sintam-se envolvidos com os processos necessários para que tais objetivos sejam atingidos. / This paper aims to present the main monitoring tools of strategic planning, given the degree of importance of such monitoring for the company to keep in line with its growth objectives and market coverage. For this monitoring tools are needed as adoption of Management information systems, Process mapping, monitoring of the Strategic map of business and use the control panel sponsored by the Balanced scorecard. So that there is a real competition between companies operating in the market, it is necessary to have a clear way of communication, so that everyone involved in various processes are aware of what the company's goals and its growth assumptions and for everyone to feel involved with the processes required for these objectives to be achieved.

La RSE qui est concept ancien a connu un regain de légitimité ces dernières années avec les injonctions du développement durable. En effet la RSE doit traduire les dimensions du développement durable à l’échelle des entreprises. Il s’agit pour les organisations de gérer les dimensions économiques, sociales et environnementales. Le pilotage de ces trois dimensions doit procurer à l’entreprise une performance globale. Le concept de performance globale pose un défi managérial au sein des organisations et particulièrement au contrôle de gestion en termes de dimensions à piloter. Des outils de pilotage notamment les tableaux de bord prospectifs ont été mis en place pour apporter des réponses mais il semble que les réponses apportées soient insuffisantes. Les allers-retours entre le terrain et la littérature nous ont amené à positionner notre question de recherche sur le rôle du contrôleur de gestion. Cette approche nous a permis de dégager des propositions significatives sur l’implication du contrôleur de gestion dans le pilotage de la performance globale à l’issue de notre deuxième phase terrain. Au regard de nos résultats, le contrôleur de gestion facilite le pilotage de la performance globale. Cependant certains facteurs organisationnels doivent être réunis pour créer une implication forte du contrôleur de gestion dans le pilotage de la performance globale. / CSR, which is an old concept, has experienced a renewal of legitimacy in recent years with the injunctions of sustainable development. CSR must reflect the dimensions of sustainable development at the corporate level. It's about organizations managing the economic, social and environmental dimensions. The management of these three dimensions must provide the company with global performance. The concept of global performance poses a managerial challenge within organizations and particularly to management control in terms of dimensions to be piloted. Piloting tools, particularly the balanced scorecards, have been put in place to provide answers, but it seems that the answers provided are insufficient. The back and forth between the field and the literature led us to position our research question on the role of the controller. This approach allowed us to draw significant proposals on the involvement of the management controller in the management of global performance at the end of our second field phase. In view of our results, the management controller facilitates the management of global performance. However, certain organizational factors must be brought together to create a strong involvement of the management controller in steering overall performance.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O objetivo desta pesquisa foi verificar os impactos ocasionados pelo processo de internacionalização sobre o sistema de controle gerencial em duas empresas brasileiras: a Lupatech S/A que atua no ramo de Metal-mecânica e a Di Solle Cutelaria no ramo de Aço inox. Deste modo, o estudo compara a relação entre os sistemas de controle gerencial utilizado pelas empresas, com a estrutura teórica apresentada, buscando evidenciar as modificações causadas em função do processo de internacionalização. Na revisão de literatura procurou-se discutir inicialmente as principais características do sistema de controle gerencial, as perspectivas contemporâneas relacionadas ao ambiente, ciclo de vida das organizações e alguns instrumentos utilizados no controle gerencial. Em seguida, foram abordadas as teorias que analisam o processo de internacionalização das empresas e por fim, o sistema de controle gerencial em ambiente internacionalizado. Foi definido um plano de referência para nortear o estudo. Em virtude das características e propósitos desta pesquisa utilizou-se na metodologia aplicada a pesquisa exploratória do tipo exploratório-descritiva, por meio do método de estudo de caso, por possibilitar um alcance maior no nível de profundidade sobre o tema e permitir maior poder de análise de uma ou mais organizações, através da comparação destas com os modelos idealizados nas literaturas existentes. O método de coleta utilizado foi à entrevista aplicada: ao Controller, ao gerente de exportação e ao gerente comercial das empresas pesquisadas. Os resultados obtidos nesta pesquisa constataram que a internacionalização não foi à única variável responsável pela mudança do sistema de controle gerencial utilizado pelas empresas. No mais, o controle gerencial das empresas em muitos aspectos aproximam-se do que foi apresentado na revisão de literatura. / The objective was to evaluate the impacts caused by the process of internationalization of the management control system in two Brazilian companies: Lupatech S / A that operates in the field of metal-mechanics and Di Solle cutlery in the field of stainless steel. Thus, the study compares the relationship between management control systems used by the company with the theoretical framework presented, seeking to highlight the changes brought about due process of internationalization. In the literature review sought to initially discuss the main features of management control system, the contemporary perspectives related to the environment, life cycle of organizations and some tools used in management control. Were then discussed the theories on the internationalization process of firms and finally the system of management control in international environment. We defined a plane to guide the study. Because of the characteristics and purposes of this research was used in the methodology of the exploratory research exploratory, descriptive, using the method of case study, by allowing a greater range in the level of depth on the subject and allow more powerful analysis one or more organizations, by comparing these with the idealized models in existing literature. The collection method used was the interview apply: the controller, the export manager and business manager of the companies surveyed. The results of this research found that internationalization was not the only variable responsible for change management control system used by companies. In addition, the management controls of companies in many respects are similar to what was presented in the literature review.

A partir das narrativas escritas por carnavalescos, o carnaval ganha forma pelas mãos de ferreiros, marceneiros, costureiras, bordadeiras e artesãos. Das favelas para o mundo, as escolas de samba do Rio de Janeiro se organizaram e, juntas, conquistaram respeito e prestígio que se materializaram por meio da construção de um Sambódromo, da Cidade do Samba, dentre outras. Realizou-se estudo de casos de natureza exploratória em que se utilizou fonte de dados primários e secundários, visando verificar as características do sistema de controle gerencial e o processo de internacionalização das escolas de samba. A questão geral é: Os sistemas de controle gerenciais das escolas de samba da cidade do Rio de Janeiro são influenciados pelo fenômeno da internacionalização? Os achados da pesquisa mostram que não, da mesma forma que alguns pesquisadores já observaram que existem circunstâncias em que o processo de internacionalização não implica, necessariamente, em grande complexidade e sofisticação do sistema de controle de gestão. / As from narratives writings, the carnival earns form for the hands of blacksmiths, cabinetmakers, dressmakers and craftsmen. A study was carried out in cases of exploratory nature of using source of primary and secondary data, in order to verify the characteristics of the system of management control and the process of internationalization of the samba schools. The general question is: The management control systems of the samba schools in Rio de Janeiro are influenced by the phenomenon of internationalization? The findings of the survey show that no, the same way that some researchers have observed that there are circumstances in which the process of internationalization does not necessarily implies in great complexity and sophistication of the management control system.

Atualmente, diversos fatores tornam o setor das empresas prestadoras de serviços o mais importante da economia brasileira. Esse é o setor da economia que mais cresce e mais emprega trabalhadores. Ele representava em 2006, 85,8% das empresas do país, crescendo 34% durante o período compreendido entre os anos de 1999 a 2006. Realizou-se estudo de casos de natureza descritiva com dados primários e secundários, objetivando-se estudar a relação em termos de proximidade ou afastamento do sistema de controle de gestão de cinco empresas familiares prestadoras de serviços, com o plano referencial extraído da literatura pesquisada. O objetivo da pesquisa foi responder a seguinte questão: o sistema de controle gerencial das empresas pesquisadas possui relação de proximidade ou afastamento com os determinantes encontrados na literatura sobre o assunto? Os resultados demonstram que o sistema de controle gerencial das empresas pesquisadas, possui relação de proximidade com os determinantes encontrados na literatura sobre o assunto.

Nos ambientes organizacionais é absolutamente necessária a utilização de recursos tecnológicos para mediar o acesso e uso da informação pelo usuário, bem como para apoiar as distintas atividades organizacionais, desde as atividades cotidianas, o processo decisório, até o planejamento de ações estratégicas. O foco do problema de pesquisa refere-se aos fluxos informacionais em âmbito organizacional, mais especificamente os fluxos informacionais vinculados ao processo de inteligência competitiva organizacional (ICO). O objetivo deste estudo visava a analisar a contribuição das tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TICs), através dos sistemas integrados de gestão, mais especificamente o Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), aplicado ao processo de inteligência competitiva organizacional nas indústrias associadas ao Sindicato Calçadista da cidade de Jaú/SP. This diploma thesis is focused on information systems in the field of hospital and nursing-care bed management and contactless vital signals monitoring. The aim of this thesis is to provide the basic overview of information systems used in health care facilities, to introduce both the LINis and Vitalmonitor systems, to analyse the effectiveness of their implementation as well as to prepare their financing models. The introductory section defines the area of health information systems. It covers the whole system spectrum from the strategic to the less important ones. This definition determines the environment for the new systems. The analysis of the largest suppliers within the Czech Republic is also included in this section. The second part deals with the LINis system and Vitalmonitor system, their basic functionality, structure and integration. The most important is the third section which contains the analysis of the effects resulting from the standard information system extension. The Effects of the LINis system and Vitalmonitor system are assessed according to the level of patient care, staff performance, value added for different types of medical facilities and financing models.
