Zbožnost. Psychologické aspekty zvnitřnělé religiozity u katoliček - matek malých dětí / Intrinsic religiosity practice. Psychological aspects of intrisic religiosity of Catholic mothers

Bartáková, Vladislava January 2012 (has links)
INTRINSIC RELIGIOSITY PRACTICE Psychological aspects of intrinsic religiosity of Catholic women - mothers of small children. Key words: Intrinsic religiosity, Prayer, Spirituality of an Everyday Life, Motherhood, Catholic Faith, Identity, Narrative Analysis Secularisation of the current post-modern Europe represents a collapse of Christianity in the sense of an integrating power of the society; however, it does not mean extinction of Christianity as such. The largest European church has been responding to the changes in the post-modern society by moving the emphasis from Catholicism (institutionally - as a doctrine attitude of the church) to Catholicity (openness and universal attitude of the church). Despite this inner movement, the Roman Catholic Church is losing numbers of their members and frequently it does not satisfactorily address, among the competition in the 'religious market', agnostics or even the 'searching' ones. From another point of view, however, it is obvious that for many people it still remains a 'home' in which they develop their faith as an individual expression of existential needs. The symbolic universe of the traditional Catholic religion provides these people with factual as well as symbolic tools to develop spirituality. Significant changes in religiousness and...

It presents the analysis of narrative accounts of lay people who were active on the Czech housing market during or after the Crises. Theoretically rooted in the in the framework of narrative analysis, the text widens the mainstream economical perceptions of Crises bringing the concepts of emotions, ethos and symbolic boundaries into account. On the behalf of the narratives of Crises, the narratives of the process of social construction of home proved to be significant for the narrator's identity construction and presentation. Text presents three main findings a) Crises is trope, which is used as such in the narratives b) moral evaluation, which might be coined as the bourgeois morality ethos prove their significance in the narratives c) housing choices being based both on "rational" and "irrational" factors i. e. emotions, moral evaluations. The main interpretation of the narrative accounts suggests the crucial importance of the narratives of social construction of home for the expression of being independent, capable, responsible and thus successful person. The ability to express the capability of securing what is culturally regarded as "good and ideal housing" to the family, represents ones ability to...

Análisis narrativo de la homosexualidad en la serie I told sunset about you

Gonzales Cieza, Melany Lucía 03 September 2021 (has links)
The representation of homosexual characters on television has gone through several stages, currently, much of this occurs to make the audience laugh through the exaggeration of stereotypes, which brings negative consequences that can reach acts of hatred towards this part of the community. However, there are still representations, which are minority on television, that show homosexuals with more empathetic characteristics, one of them being the one that occurs when they are protagonists, as would be the case of the Boys Love genre series. It is for this reason that the main objective of this research is to analyze the homosexual narrative in the Thai series I told sunset about you through a qualitative approach methodology with an interpretive paradigm, having as design the case study, the analysis of content as a data collection technique and as a study instrument to the content analysis guide. Which will be applied to twelve scenes that make up the narrative structure of the first season of this series, as well as the main events of the narrative structure, the construction and actions of the leading homosexual character will be explained. / Trabajo de investigación

La representación de las relaciones de poder y contrapoder en el anime Gurren Lagann / The representation of power and counter-power relations in the anime Gurren Lagann

Rantes García, Giancarlo 06 July 2021 (has links)
This work consists of an analysis of the anime Gurren Lagann, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, from the perspective of renowned sociologists such as Castells, Foucault and Bourdieu, in order to understand how issues related to social movements develop, more specifically in the field of power and counter-power, in the development of its chapters. This anime tells the story of how humanity frees itself from the yoke of an authoritarian regime, through a revolution commanded by the group known as the “Gurren Brigade”. In this sense, sociological theories are used to decipher how this product can reflect the associative and rebellious nature of the human being in the face of an oppressive stimulus, which is responsible for evolving the feelings of those affected from fear to hope and enthusiasm . In this way, through an approach provided by social constructivism, it is intended to find an essential structure that reflects these themes in Imaishi's anime, in order to apply these results to the analysis of similar cases and, even, contribute as a guide to create new stories that want to address these concepts in their narrative. / Trabajo de investigación

Death of the Artist : En kulturanalys av digitalt sörjande över avlidna musiker / Death of the Artist : A cultural analysis of digital mourning of deceased musicians

Wikström, Daniel January 2019 (has links)
Showing grief and loss over deceased musicians is something people have been doing on forums and online webshrines since home computers and the internet became part of our daily lives. Studies of this phenomenon have shown that grievers did so as a process of being in a state of disenfranchised grief, meaning that their grief wasn’t seen as legitimate or genuine, since they didn’t have a personal relationship with the deceased musician. Grief on the internet as an unidentifiable avatar on forums and shrines was a possibility many took hold of. Since the entrance of social media however, this notion of keeping grief over famous musicians (or other celebrities) private have changed. Whenever a famous person dies it is hard to miss Facebook statuses and comments written in sorrow and grief. This essay studies grief ridden comments on three different deceased musicians official Facebook profiles, how they are written, how personal they are, and how they relate to the musician. The essay also gets into a discussion how other users in grief effects the expressions of grief and how the medium and infrastructure of Facebook itself is contributing to the expressions.

Det blir bättre sen - psykologers berättelser om övergången från studier till yrkesliv

Tysk, Nanna, Vännberg, Ebba January 2022 (has links)
Previous research has shown that transitioning from studies to working life is a critical period, where the concept of transition-shock can appear. This can also be applied to early-career psychologists. However, there is a need for deeper understanding of the transition for psychologists in training in Sweden. The aim of this study was therefore to investigate psychologists’ stories about the transition from studies to the first years in practice and what characterized these stories. The 15 participants, one man and 14 women, were recruited via PTP-coordinators/-principals, social media platforms and private contacts. The study was conducted by a text-based data collection, consisting of a life history calendar (LHC) and guiding questions, which were sent by post. The data was analyzed with a narrative method, inspired by Labov and Waletzkys’ research on the narratives’ different components. Thereafter prototype stories were made, which is a tool to make the studied phenomenon comparable. Five prototype stories were then created from shared contexts and other circumstances, such as mental health, social changes and work-experience. These are called “The work-life labyrinth,” “The uphill,” “The inner journey,” “Equipped and ready” and “The social shift.” The analysis indicate that transition-shock applies to psychologists in Sweden with the influence of organizational contexts and social support. In summary, the explanation for the setbacks are switched from the individual to the context and circumstances. For all participants, the transition-shock has decreased or passed over, which indicates that psychologists’ transition from studies to working life is a critical yet limited period.

The odd man out : A study of the implications of the covid-19 pandemic for Nordic status seeking

Asplund, Ella January 2022 (has links)
This thesis contributes to the literature on status seeking and transboundary crises by studying the dynamics of a group of states’ collective status seeking during times of crisis. The implications of the covid-19 pandemic for the common status seeking of the Nordic countries are explored through a study of the collective Nordic identity. A narrative analysis of the views on Sweden in the two Nordic countries Norway and Denmark is carried out using news media articles during first three months of the pandemic. The results show a rift in the collective Nordic identity during the covid-19 pandemic. The main conclusion is that a transboundary crisis can undermine states’ collective status seeking if the cooperative status seeking processesare not backed up by collaboration in times of crisis.

The Conversion of Indigenous Peoples to Pentecostalism in Times of Decolonization and its Potential Consequences on Identity Perception : A narrative research study in Bolivia

Hagberg, Fanny January 2023 (has links)
The research was carried out to show the potential consequences of the conversion of indigenous peoples in Bolivia to Pentecostalism. The research was based on a research conducted by Canessa in 2000 on two movements already taking place at the time of his research, the rise of Indigeonus recognition in society and the rise of Pentecostalism. The results show how these phenomena have developed in Bolivia since 2000, during which Bolivia, for example, had its first Indigeonus president, Evo Morales, who led the country between 2006 and 2019, and Bolivia went through a coup d'état in which the new president, Jeanine Áñez, representing the right, associated the Bible with the mestizos and spread hatred of the Indigeonus beliefs.  Religious conversions from Catholicism / Pachamama to Pentecostalism in relation to decolonization and in- and out-group associations were investigated. The research was written with a narrative research design, in which I interviewed Pentecostal pastors who worked in La Paz and in the rural area of Quellani outside the predominantly indigenous El Alto, as well as an indigenous person who had converted to Pentecostalism. Likewise, my observations were included, mainly on Pentecostal services in La Paz and Quellani, as well as on comparisons of Catholic churches in Cochabamba and Copacabana. The observations suggest interpretations of the situation as an outsider, a Western scholar.  The indigenous beliefs are commonly referred to as Madre Tierra "mother earth" or Pachamama. During colonization, however, the Spaniards came with Catholicism, and since then, indigenous beliefs and Catholicism have been syncretized and incorporated into the beliefs of Bolivians, including many indigenous peoples. Catholicism / Pachamama's religious activities are also essential for Bolivia's culture and national identity.  However, since the other half of the twentieth century, many Bolivians, also indigenous, have converted to Pentecostalism, although Indigeonus are fighting for decolonization, and Pentecostalism is less accepting of adherents who preserve cultural and religious parts of indigenous peoples. Alcohol consumption, for example, is an essential part of the religion and culture of the indigenous people, accepted within Catholicism, and prohibited within Pentecostalism. In addition, the Pentecostals pride themselves on following the Bible and not displaying "contradictory behavior". 3 The theory of in and out-group was applied, as it was considered a relevant identity theory. The identity of the Pentecostals seems to correlate with a particular perception of Catholics. I have observed it as an inferior relationship to the Catholics, who often include indigenous beliefs, represent the largest number of believers in Bolivia, are deeply intertwined in Bolivia's culture and history, and earlier the only officially accepted religion.  The results showed that indigenous peoples can gain several benefits by converting to Pentecostalism, including improved status and perceived new possibilities, a new community, and a path to decolonization from the Catholicism associated with colonization. Some elements of their indigenous background can be preserved, including their clothing and language. However, they will have to give up certain traditions related to indigenous beliefs, as they are more syncretized with Catholicism, including alcohol, and relationships are often affected. Perceived positive effects may depend on whether others convert with them, although the Pentecostal community offers a much more personal and intimate community than Catholicism.
