This is a qualitative case study qua a thesis equal to a bachelor degree in Information design with orientation towards text design. The purpose of the study is to analyze an informational text with a norm critical perspective to gain knowledge on how the text can be affected by the social according norms reflected in its style and parlance. The goal is to use the knowledge gained to form a design concept around how we can create an informational text which does not disfavor humans from a norm critical viewpoint. The goal with the design concept is further to discuss if it’s manageable to create such an information text at all. It’s showed in the study that gender constructions pervasively affect aspects in an informational text, such as style and parlance, and that this can lead the readers to perceive the text in different ways.

Matematisk begreppsförståelse och språkbruk i undervisningenFriman, Max, Swerre, Erica, Törnros, Beatrice January 2022 (has links)
In our study, the problem area is that concept teaching in mathematics is too low to be able to achieve mathematical understanding. Mathematics also has two different parlance that make teaching difficult and create a lack of clarity about which one of these parlances to use at which occasion and how these parlances should be interpreted and how they are linked. We have conducted an interview study with semi-structured interviews. The respondents consist of 16 teachers who were selected through our inclusion- and exclusion criteria. The material was transcribed, coded, and categorized, and we used the socio-cultural perspective as a theoretical framework to analyse the material. One conclusion we can draw from the results of this interview study is that the teachers in this study express that they are aware that cooperative learning is beneficial for students' understanding of concepts, but that organizational problems such as lack of planning time, too few educators and too large classes make it is difficult to conduct a developing concept teaching. This can be a reason why the textbook takes up a lot of space in the classroom. Another conclusion we can draw is that the teachers in this study express that they have subject knowledge and that their pedagogical knowledge at certain times is not sufficient, especially when it comes to supporting students who need extra support and students with Swedish as a second language. Another conclusion we can draw from the results is that the students have difficulty transferring the concrete to the abstract in mathematics. This may be because the language used by the students is the everyday one, which does not correspond to what the students encounter in the textbooks and on tests. As the students get the smallest speaking space, they also rarely get the chance to use any of the language. The use of everyday language is not advocated in the socio-cultural perspective, but can be questioned when students do not encounter the correct language in everyday life, and can become an element in the teaching that can not relate to everyday life.

AS EMOÇÕES NO SENTIR, NO PENSAR E NO AGIR DIALOGANDO COM HUMBERTO MATURANA NA FORMAÇÃO DE PROFESSORES DE FISIOTERAPIA / EMOTIONS IN FEELING, THOUGHT AND ACTION DIALOGING WITH HUMBERTO MATURANA IN PHYSIOTHERAPY TEACHER TRAININGJorgelewicz, Leo 18 August 2015 (has links)
This research work that I present as Master s Dissertation Defense in
Education,in the line ofTraining, Knowledge and Professional Development(PPGE -
UFSM) aims to contribute to theoretical and epistemological subsidies for teacher
training in general, and the Physiotherapy Teachers training in particular, from the
propositions of Biology of Cognition and Biology of Love, the human biologicalrelational
basis in a rescue perspective of respect and lovingness between teacher
and scholar. For the development of this Master s thesis, activities were conducted as
qualitative type of theoretical and epistemological character. The framework that guides
the "investigative and reflective look of the researcher ((BARCELOS, 2005) towards
production of research information (JACQUES GAUTHIER, 1998) is the establishment
of dialogs that emphasize the rescue of emotions as acting that involves listening,
talking, cooperation and mutual acceptance. It is a relevant work, because it underlies
the presentation of alternative searches to deal with the challenges posed to education,
taking into account the intense transformations occurring in the world today. Thus, one
of the main objectives ofthis research is to explain the contributions of some
epistemological propositions of Humberto Maturana for building an education that
promotes guided education in the rediscovery of human nature, a nature determined
by love, based on democracy as an art without desire for domination with the
resignation of the teacher's authority,in an atmosphere that fosters and encourages
discovery through parlance (Maturana,2004,p.30) of respect and freedom. Research
has shown that for this education happens it is necessary to pay attention to emotions
as care, listening and welcoming of differences in spaces and school times.
orienta o olhar investigativo e reflexivo do pesquisador (BARCELOS, 2005) no
Constituise
conta as intensas transformações ocorridas no mundo atual.

Tingstedt, Susanne January 2013 (has links)
I have chosen to study H&M’s use of language when it comes to sustainable fashion. Instead of studying a range of sources, I have narrowed it down to the specific text På väg mot hållbart mode, which is a text presented on H&M’s external website www.hm.com. The purpose and fundamental objective of my study is how one can alter the language, as stated in Klarspråk, together with a distinct connection between word and action, which will engender a positive effect on both knowledge and guidance, hence how to affect sustainable fashion by means of consumption. My study is founded upon two methods, one analysis of text and one semi-structured focus group. The purpose is to study how obtainable information is from H&M, seen from a young adults perspective, have their opinions on consumption in general and sustainable fashion in particular and understand their reflections on how business can create possibilities for a progressively more sustainable consumption. With the foundation of previously carried out studies and my own acquired evidences, I have produced a new piece of work, written in a way using the outline stated by Klarspråk, aimed towards young people. This new text is based on two separate paragraphs from the text, which I have chosen to analyze. My own work is therefore written in a langue that is adapted to suit young people to become readable, legible and to have value. Furthermore, this work contains evident and clear guidance where one can find alternatives for sustainable fashion. I have also given thought to the placement of the text, i.e. on the web.
