Aldonos Elenos Puišytės kūryba / The creative work of Aldona Elena Puisyte

Paulauskienė, Sonata 04 August 2008 (has links)
Siekiant išsiaiškinti A.E. / The main problem of thesis, which was got one’s inspiration - the biography and oeuvre of a poetess, interpreter and dramatist Aldona Elena Puisyte, which hasn’t been discussed and analyzed enlarge. Analyzing facts of the author’s public life I was trying to settle the personal and historical events which made influence to the author’s world-view and took place in the oeuvre. According to the author’s poetry books, the essay, the interview with the poetess and invoking Lithuanian reviewers’ appreciations I was trying to establish the author’s singularity, to overlook and mark poetry forms and dominant themes. Pursuing to find out the author’s singularity and oneness I attended to conceptions of religious poetry in Lithuanian literature, and established that the author’s lyrics has got lots of religious poetry elements. The author’s relations with the spirit of the age and philosophy have been analyzed in the thesis. Pursuing to discover the author’s place in the context of today’s Lithuanian literature I was using Lithuanian reviewers’ appreciations and outgivings. This monograph thesis could be useful studying an infant and religious poetry, Lithuanian poem and the author’s biography dimensions are compulsive not only for literary experts, but for other too.

Study of the present dialogical elements in the processes of conceptualization during the discussions with philosophic aim in cycle 3 of the elementary school.

Roine, Philippe 14 November 2016 (has links)
For over two decades, a growing number of new philosophical practices have emerged in the primary schools. These practices which originated in both the United States and the “new pedagogies”, have for a long time been developed outside the institutional framework. However, since 2015, there have been recommended by the official programmes of the National Education System known as “the discussion with philosophical aim”.The object of our research aims to characterize the processes of conceptualization present in the discourses of children aged 9 to 11 during the “discussion with philosophical aim”.In this context, we examined more specifically the place and role of the “other speech” within this process. To achieve this, we used, within the vast range of dialogism, the theoretical framework of the “Representation of another speech” and the “Representation of the speech in process of making” from Authier-Revuz. We also focused on the differents forms of modalisation of the discourse and the conditional tense. We have established the presence of these “other speeches” in the discursive movements who participate in the processes of conceptualization and the importance of the processes of autonymisation and autonymous modalisation. We have also shown the “disconnect effect” present in certain statements. Our study thus helped to futher characterize the processes of conceptualization present in “the discussion with philosophical aim”.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Carmen_Barros_Riegel.pdf: 925138 bytes, checksum: 72c5639d6f633d059283df311e1623cb (MD5) Previous issue date: 2008-11-20 / This research aims to investigate how games, analyzed from Hans-Georg Gadamer´s Philosophic Hermeneutics point of view, can contribute to child upbringing in Child Education. For such the pedagogic practice of Child Education teachers at the Mimosa Day Care Center was discussed with the participation of a researcher and through a reflective and active dialogical process that could lead to the collective building of a game conception which enabled the qualification of the educational process developed by these teachers. The methodology used suggests a qualitative piece of research which was done by observation and interviews in order to collect as many data and pieces of information as possible to subsidize the analysis and interpretation of results. The main material for this analysis, besides observation, was made up of the teachers accounts of their game conceptions in the pedagogic action with the children. Gadamer´s Philosophic Hermeneutics served as the theoretical basis for this research as to the ontological explanation of the game as a conducting wire in human education. Data analysis demonstrates the need for a continuous reflection on the importance of games in child upbringing. Also, it proves that the human dimension of games, according to Gadamer, adds to the qualification of the teaching staff´s work with children by means of a humanizing action of respect towards them, and in their relation in the search for world disclosure.

An intra-textual study of Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics Book VI and the role of the five states of the rational soul

Leeflang, Arne Karl 20 July 2011 (has links)
In Book VI of the Nicomachean Ethics Aristotle makes the assumption that there are five states of the soul through which we interact with truth. He continues Book VI with a discussion of his intended meaning of each of these states of the soul. In this study the relevant discussions on each state are extracted from the text to enable a clearer understanding of these states, as Aristotle presents them. Subsequently, the role of each state is studied in the context of the entire Nicomachean Ethics. The primary focus is directed at a clearer understanding of Aristotle’s proposed intellectual virtues, and on their respective roles in the ethical life. Simultaneously, the ethical life that Aristotle presents, and its ultimate end eudaimonia, or happiness, are approached from this perspective. Aristotle argues that reason is the distinguishing feature of humans, and that man’s excellence must include the excellent use of this capacity. This study investigates how Aristotle proposes that the rational intellect should reach its completion, and comes to the conclusion that true mastery of the intellect can only result from the cooperation of the five states of the rational soul. It becomes evident that each state of the soul has a different nature and function, and that through directed cooperation they do not compete with one another, but are mutually enhanced. However, Aristotle repeatedly emphasises the importance of extending thought into action. This makes Aristotle’s ethical theory so attractive: he manages to consolidate his theorizing with the value of experienced reality. This is his essential key to happiness, which is experienced both in perception and in action. By approaching the Nicomachean Ethics from the perspective of the five states of the rational soul, an appreciation is acquired for the fine balance by which action and reason may combine to result in man’s fulfilment of his highest potential. It is in this balance that one finds the secret to eudaimonia. / Dissertation (MA)--University of Pretoria, 2011. / Ancient Languages / unrestricted

Le Roux, Ina 06 1900 (has links)
The first chapter outlines the concept ngano, thereafter the function of the Venda oral tradition in the past is described and the present nature and position of the phenomenon in community living is defined. Changing socio-economic and political forces disturbed traditional Venda life-style to such an extent that the oral tradition and the voice of the storyteller are not highly regarded by the modern generation. The theoretical point of departure of this thesis accepts the radical integrative function of religion ordering chaos into meaningful patterns. Dialectically tied to this first principle of religion is the inherent urgency of the human spirit to transcend all given limits. Viewed thus, ngano can be interpreted as religious utterances in which chaos is expressed in meaningful patterns and where resistance is articulated against existing order and traditional assumptions. Chapter two sketches the historical background of the Venda people from 800 AD up to recent political changes of 1994 in the Northern Province. The second part of this chapter presents an exposition of their religio-philosophic background which, together with the historical events provide an interpretative context for these ancient stories handed down from one generation to the next. Fifty folk tales (ngano) appear in the following nine chapters documented in eight different areas in Venda. Every narrative is introduced by a summary of the content of the story together with an interpretation by narrator and assistants. The Venda text is given first adhering as closely as possible to the original words of the narrator. Every line is followed by an Afrikaans translation. A recurring theme in ngano is the powerless (child, wife or insignificant person) resisting the powerful (king, husband/man, dominating family members or unyielding traditional structures). Other popular themes are the misery of famine, application and occurrence of witchcraft and supernatural transformations. Lastly three Sankambe-stories are documented in which the fantastic antics of the hare, the trickster in Venda folk tales who survives by sheer cunning, are humorously narrated. Although there are distinct expressions of resistance and criticism against the existing order and dominating powers, ngano seldom ventures beyond traditional religious and philosophic boundaries.

Zinn, André Luís Barcellos 28 August 2007 (has links)

This research is consisted of the phenomenological analysis of the Criminal Special Courts, where the application of the institutes that are in charge of not punishing by law, and the conditional of the process is highlighted. At the beginning, it will be accomplished a general panorama of the crisis situation of the law and of the penal Brazilian System at the present. Following, the fundamental presupposition of the philosophical hermeneutic that will fit as an instrument of rupture with the way of thinking proposed by the legal dogmatic. Subsequently, an hermeneutic approach about the proportion principle, in its double sense, will be done: the prohibition of the excess and the prohibition of the deficient protection. At the end, the way how this principle can fit, as a sense vector for a suitable interpretation regarding the protection of the fundamental values found in the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988, will be shown

Fenomény filosofie výchovy - edukace / Phenomena philosophy of education - education

KOPTYŠOVÁ, Monika January 2018 (has links)
This work concern is about philosophy of upbringing the education. Theoretic part of thesis deals with the education from the perspective of philosophy, education, from the part of the medieval and modern age, to the present day. This work contains the philosophical reflection on philosophic resources of education, which means that education is the basic philosophic step for some alternative way of pedagogic outcomes and for the picture of modern individual and society education and philosophy. The ethic codex and dimensions is also mentioned as a part of educational philosophy. In the second empirical part of this work, we brought an analysis and a deep research by the questionnaire method to answer a question, how high is the awareness of teachers in schools about philosophic education. For the completion of the course and research, we used to study chess. The main goal and aim of this thesis was to achieve and bring to light an answer to question what philosophy, outcomes might be framed for the area of education, upbringing and educate in the present time, what is the basic picture of the individual and the society in the philosophical education and what are the possible ethical dimensions of philosophy education.
