Ledarskap för att främja hälsa hos medarbetare : En fallstudie om hälsoarbete på linjechefsnivå / : Leadership to promote health among employeesFörfattare:

The author’s common interest for healthy employees, brought reasonto study how line managers can manage and develop this withsupport from HR. Previous research highlights that knowledge ofhow health is promoted is missing. Line managers have a key role inworking with contributors´ health. The aim of the study is toinvestigate how managers are working for the well-being ofemployees and which aid dedicated to line managers from the HRfunction, and how support and the work with employees’ health canbe developed. This study also investigates the approach on healthfrom each party. The method consisted of a case study, includingdata collection through depth interview with HR and focus groupinterview with heads of unit. The result of the HR interview showedoverwhelming support in individual conversations, but lack ofresources for the support function. HR requested additional resourcesand more health promotion work instead of rehabilitation. Heads ofunit are working with a wellness initiative for healthy contributors.Development points were found in increased support, developedwellness options, increased participation and performance appraisalswith a focus on the individual’s health status. The findings showthat heads of units are working with participation, attendance andhealth care but want more focus on the individual’s health status. HRneeds resources in order to support the heads of units in their healthcare. A common approach is missing between HR and heads of unitin their work for health promotion. Education, approach and supportshould be developed on the basis of the organization’s overallcontext. / Författarnas gemensamma intresse för välmående medarbetare,väckte grund till att studera hur linjechefer kan hantera ochutveckla detta med stöd från HR. Tidigare forskning belyser attkunskap saknas om hur hälsa främjas. Linjechefer anses ha ennyckelroll i arbetet med välmående medarbetare. Syftet medstudien är att undersöka hur linjechefer arbetar för välmåendemedarbetare samt vilket stöd som tillägnas linjecheferna från HRfunktionen,samt hur stödet och hälsoarbetet kan utvecklas.Slutligen önskas utläsa vilket synsätt som präglar parternashälsoarbete. Metoden utgjordes av en fallstudie, innefattandedatainsamling genom djupintervju med HR, ochfokusgruppintervju med enhetschefer. Resultatet från HRintervjunpåvisade att HR ger starkt stöd främst i enskilda samtaloch att resurserna för stödfunktionen är bristande. HR önskadeytterligare resurser och ett mer hälsofrämjande arbete istället förett rehabiliteringsinriktat. Enhetscheferna arbetar med enfriskvårdssatsning för välmående medarbetare.Utvecklingspunkter återfanns i ökat kommunövergripande stöd,utvecklade och medarbetarledda friskvårdsalternativ, ökatdeltagande från medarbetare samt medarbetarsamtal med fokus påindividens hälsa. Slutsatserna visar att enhetscheferna arbetarmed delaktighet, närvaro och friskvård men vill ha mer fokus påindividens behov. HR behöver ökade resurser för att stödjaenhetscheferna i hälsoarbetet. Gemensamt synsätt saknas mellanHR och enhetscheferna i hälsoarbetet. Utbildning, synsätt ochstöd bör utvecklas övergripande utifrån organisationens kontext.

A maior parte desses problemas poderia ser evitada por ações de promoção de saúde, especialmente no contexto escolar. Com esse enfoque, este trabalho apresenta dois estudos sobre a contextualização, descrição e análise de um programa de educação em saúde, com caráter lúdico, realizado numa creche-escola de Petrolina, PE, identificando os comportamentos de autocuidados dos alunos e as práticas pedagógicas, segundo relatos dos profissionais de ensino. O Estudo 1 apresenta uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre as experiências do Programa Escolas Promotoras de Saúde na Educação Infantil, publicadas nos últimos cinco anos no Brasil, denotando as dificuldades encontradas no tocante à implementação de Políticas Públicas que efetivamente contribuam para melhorar o ensino da saúde em nosso país. No Estudo 2, o Projeto Esparadrápicos: (re)construindo sua saúde foi analisado com base nas entrevistas de 8 profissionais e da coordenadora da creche-escola, utilizando um protocolo com 30 questões relativas à avaliação dos efeitos do Projeto sobre os comportamentos de autocuidados dos alunos e na prática pedagógica. Os dados foram categorizados segundo o conteúdo das respostas, mostrando a relevante contribuição que ações desenvolvidas com caráter lúdico e sistematizadas oferecem para o processo educacional nas escolas de ensino infantil. Este trabalho apresenta também em anexo um artigo publicado que relata a aplicação do Projeto Esparadrápicos: (re) construindo a sua saúde em 255 alunos de uma creche-escola de Petrolina, PE e um livro, mostrando seu potencial de transferência de conhecimento para a prática profissional, na área de Educação em Saúde / The child/ s health in preschool age is critical in the region from Pernambuco, what means in Petrolina, PE, Brazil, more than six thousand and five hundred children under five years are exposed to diseases, like child malnutrition, acute respiratory infections, measles, among other diseases, that promote unfavourable atmospheres to the children development, due to the high poorness of their families. Most of those problems could be avoided with actions of health promotion, especially at the school. In this way, this work presents three studies about contextualization, description and analysis of an education program in health, with playful character, made in a nursery-school of Petrolina, PE, identifying behaviours of autocares of the students and teaching practices, according to experience reports of the professionals of teaching. The Study 1 presents a systematic review of the literature about the experiences of the Programme Promotorae Health Schools in the Child Education, published in the latest five years in Brazil, showing difficulties found in the implementation of Public Policies that contribute to improve the teaching in our country. In Study 2, Project Esparadrápicos: (re) constructing their health was analyzed based on the interviews of 8 professionals and coordinator of nursery-school, using a protocol with 30 questions concerning the assessment of the effects of the Project on the self-care behaviors of students and teaching practice. Konst och kultur : Möjligheter och hinder att använda konst och kultur som rehabiliterande metod inom primärvården / Arts : Possibilities and obstacles to use arts in rehabilitation in health care

Background: There are future challenges for public health and health care in meeting the needs of a growing and ageing population. Today there are evidence of how arts can contribute to health development and of the connections between arts, health, treating and rehabilitating measures. To be able to meet the future challenges there is a need for new methods, perspectives and views about how to stay healthy, enjoy our existence and for wellbeing. Health care has an important role in rehabilitation through the broad contact with the population. The background of the essay is the pilot project Arts on Prescription that was carried out in order to try a new way of rehabilitation with arts as a factor. The concepts, the results and the discussion from the project connect the pathogenic perspective with the salutogenic perspective. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to examinate possibilities and obstacles to use arts as a part of a complementary method of rehabilitation in primary care. Method: The study is qualitative, and the empirical material is interviews with five individuals responsible for rehabilitation in primary care and a pilot interview. The method is based on a descriptive, ideation approach with a reflexive frame. Results: In the result appear a complex of possibilities and obstacles of using arts in primary care. Possibilities are formed by knowledge, understanding and scientific proof of arts intrinsic possibilities to promote health. Obstacles are formed by historical, economical, organizational and personal connections. Conclusion: The possibilities and obstacles of the study together constitute various dilemmas. The conclusion is that arts advantageously can be used in a number of ways in primary care (and other areas) to promote health, but with account taken to organizational, valuable and normative fields. / Bakgrund: Folkhälsoarbetet och hälso- och sjukvården står inför framtida utmaningar meatt kunna möta hälso- och vårdbehovet hos en både växande och åldrande befolkning. Definns idag forskning som visar att kultur kan bidra till hälsoutveckling och att det finns samband mellan kultur, hälsa och behandlande och rehabiliterande åtgärder. För att möta framtida utmaningarna krävs nya metoder, perspektiv och synsätt på hur vi ska hålla oss friska, trivas med tillvaron och uppleva välbefinnande. Primärvården har en viktig roll inorehabilitering genom sin breda kontakt med befolkningen. Bakgrund till uppsatsen är Kulpå Recept som genomfördes som pilotprojekt i ett försök att testa en annorlunda rehabilitemed kultur som påverkansfaktor.  Konceptet, resultaten och resonemangen kopplar ihop depatogena och de salutogena perspektiven. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka möjligheter och hinder att använda konst och kultur som komplementär rehabiliterande metod inom primärvården. Metod: Undersökningen är kvalitativ där det empiriska materialet utgörs av intervjuer mefem personer som är ansvariga för rehabilitering inom primärvården och en pilotintervju. Metoden utgörs av en deskriptiv, idéskapande ansats med en reflexiv ram. Resultat: I resultatet framträder ett komplex av möjligheter och hinder för att använda kooch kultur inom primärvården. Möjligheterna utgörs av kunskap, förståelse och vetenskapförankring i konst och kulturaktiviteters inneboende möjligheter att främja hälsa. Hinder utgörs av historiska, ekonomiska, organisatoriska och personliga sammanhang. Slutsats: De möjligheter och hinder studien påvisar utgör tillsammans olika dilemman. Slutsats är att konst och kultur med fördel kan användas på olika sätt inom primärvården andra områden) för att verka hälsofrämjande, men att det finns organisatoriska, värdemäsoch normativa områden som måste beaktas.

HÄLSOCENTER, ETT STEG MOT EN FRISKARE BEFOLKNING : En kvalitativ studie om att jobba hälsofrämjande med kost- och motionsvanor som exempel

WHO rekommenderar hälso- och sjukvården att bli mer hälsofrämjande. Däremot visar forskning att hälso- och sjukvården inte lever upp till denna rekommendation. Landstinget Västmanland har dock gjort en satsning på det hälsofrämjande arbetet. Fyra hälsocenter har etablerats i länet till följd av detta. Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur personalen vid dessa hälsocenter upplevde sina förutsättningar att jobba hälsofrämjande med kost- och motionsvanor. Metoden som användes för att besvara syftet var kvalitativ. Datainsamlingen skedde genom att sex semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes. Fem hälsovägledare och en person med övergripande ansvar för hälsocenterverksamheten intervjuades. Datamaterialet analyserades med hjälp av en induktiv och manifest kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visar att hälsocenters arbete följer de grundprinciper som tagits fram för hälsofrämjande arbete. Stöd i organisationen och den egna kompetensen var faktorer som underlättade arbetet, medan bristfälliga lokaler och samverkansproblem till exempel var faktorer som upplevdes hindra arbetet. Slutsatserna som presenterats utifrån uppsatsens resultat var att delar av hälsocenters arbete fungerade bra men att det fanns vissa förbättringsmöjligheter. Till följd av att hälsocenters arbete bedömdes ligga i linje med grundprinciperna för hälsofrämjande arbete drogs även slutsatsen att verksamheten kan vara ett gott exempel för andra vårdorganisationer som önskar arbeta hälsofrämjande. / WHO recommend health services to become more health promoting. Yet, research indicates that health services don’t fulfill these recommendations. The county Landstinget Västmanland however, has made a commitment to work health promoting. Due to this commitment four Health facilities has been established in the county. The aim of this study was to investigate how the staff at these health facilities experienced their premises to work health promoting with diet- and physical activity habits. A qualitative method was used to answer this. Six semistructured interviews was performed to collect data. Five health counselors and one person with administrative responsibility for the health facilities was interviewed. An inductive and manifest qualitative content analysis was used to analyze the collected data. The result indicated that the health facilities was working health promoting according to the fundamental principles for health promotion. The result also showed that a supportive organization and the individual competence was two factors among others that made the work easier. Inadequate facilities and collaboration issues for example was on the other hand factors that the respondents felt complicated their work. The conclusions drawn from the result is that parts of the health facilities, health promotion work is working well, but that there is room for improvements. Also the conclusion that the health facilities can set an example for other health services that wishes to become more health promoting was drawn.

Therefore, a service reorientation was proposed considering intersectoralaction as an important tool. The Brazilian Program Health in School is an iniciative focused on the partnership between Family Health teams and school community. To accomplish such partnership and build healthier schools, a program of continuing education is required. The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge and practices of health promotion in the school context. The study was conduct using descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected from the participants in a course on health promotion practices through focus groups and, later, analyzed using Tesch’s proposition. The results suggest that the participant’s concepts and descriptions of the facilitators and the hindering factors evolved from a discourse centered on the individual to a perception of the collective. Then, we suggest the need to expand opportunities for continuing education, approaching both theoretical and practical content. / A promoção da saúde emergiu no final do século XX em resposta a responsabilização do indivíduo pela saúde, propondo a reorientação dos serviços, sendo a intersetorialidade uma importante ferramenta. O Programa Saúde na Escola é uma iniciativa com foco na parceria entre as equipes de Saúde da Família e a comunidade escolar, sendo necessária a realização de educação permanente para a construção de escolas saudáveis. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar os saberes e práticas de promoção da saúde, entre profissionais da saúde e da educação, no contexto da escola. O estudo foi realizado por meio de pesquisa qualitativa descritiva. Os dados foram coletados junto aos participantes de um curso de práticas promotoras de saúde, por meio de grupos focais e os dados foram analisados pela proposta de Tesch. Os resultados sugerem que as concepções dos participantes e a descrição de facilitadores e dificultadores das práticas, evoluíram de um discurso centrado no indivíduo para uma percepção sobre o coletivo. Sugere-se a necessidade de ampliar as oportunidades de educação permanente, aproximando conteúdos teóricos e práticas.

Para isso, uma equipe constituída de cirurgiões dentistas, designers, pedagogo e profissionais da tecnologia da informação construíram o software denominado: “Buscando respostas em saúde bucal”. Este se propõe de um modo simples, rápido e atraente avaliar o conhecimento adquirido após a realização de uma ação coletiva de saúde bucal. O estudo envolveu 35 crianças de 6 e 7 anos, alunos do Colégio de Aplicação João XXIII, Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais. Uma atividade de promoção de saúde foi realizada inicialmente. Em seguida foi aplicado, no público alvo, o programa para se promover a validação. Os métodos utilizados para a validação foram os índices de confiabilidade, coeficiente de fidedignidade (coeficiente alfa de Cronbach) e o Percentual de Concordância. Os resultados mostraram que o cálculo do Percentual de Concordância foi alto variando de 97,1% a 100%. Desta forma, este software possui um bom índice de confiabilidade, podendo ser considerado validado. / This study aimed at the creation and validation of an educational software to evaluate the effectiveness of activities to promote oral health, as a means able to enter or modify habits of health care. For this, a team composed of dentists, designers, educator and information technology professionals built the software called: "Seeking answers in oral health." This is proposed in a simple, fast and attractive evaluate the knowledge acquired after conducting a collective oral health. The study involved 35 children aged 6 and 7 years, students of the Colégio de Aplicação João XXII, Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais. A health promotion activity was initially performed. Then it was applied, the target audience, the program to promote the validation. The methods were used to validate the reliability indices, Cronbach's alpha and Percentage of Agreement. The results showed that the calculation of the percentage of agreement was high ranging from 97.1% to 100%. Thus, this software has a good level of reliability and can be considered validated.

Com base na abordagem da pesquisa qualitativa de cunho etnográfico, nosso trabalho procurou demonstrar que, devido à interação das mulheres entre si e delas com a equipe de saúde, as clientes parecem conviver melhor com seus conflitos biopsicossociais. Observamos que a efetividade dos tratamentos está também relacionada à escuta interessada das clientes com papilomavirose, estando sujeitas a agravos em conseqüência de práticas curativas e automatizadas, cotidianamente exercidas por profissionais do sistema público de saúde. Assim sendo, realizamos com base em Freire, o desenvolvimento de um processo socioeducativo que suscitou, como produto, a criação de uma sala de espera interativa no Setor de Ginecologia de um hospital universitário. O principal objetivo foi converter um espaço de espera em uma sala com a preocupação não só de acolhimento, com também de um constante processo de construção compartilhada de saberes. Ao mesmo tempo, práticas ligadas à promoção da saúde e à prevenção do câncer são desenvolvidas, conforme reivindica a atual Política Nacional de Humanização da Saúde. / The lack of scientific culture, and educational activities appropriate to increase it, seem to contribute to morbidity and mortality of cervical cancer by human papillomavirus (HPV) in women of low educational level. Based on the approach of qualitative ethnographic research, our study sought to demonstrate that, due to the interaction of women among themselves and with their health care team, clients seem to live better with their conflicts biopsicossociais. We found that the effectiveness of treatment is also related to hearing from interested customers with papilomavirose, and subject to damages as a result of healing practices, automated daily performed by professional public health system. Therefore, we based on Freire, the development of a process which led childcare as a product, creating a waiting room in the interactive industry of Gynecology of a university hospital. The main objective was to convert a room waiting in a room with a concern not only the host, with also a constant process of shared construction of knowledge. At the same time, practices related to health promotion and cancer prevention are developed, as claims the current National Policy of Humanization of Health.
