L’étude des structures raidies est un sujet de recherche récurrent. En effet, celles-ci sont présentes dans de nombreuses applications industrielles. Leur utilisation offre de nombreux avantages notamment du point de vue de l’allègement, critère qui est particulièrement important dans l’industrie automobile par exemple. Dans un tout autre domaine, la table d’harmonie de piano constitue un exemple typique de ces structures raidies et les problèmes relevés par les professionnels du domaine sont nombreux. Aujourd’hui, les ressources numériques permettent de prendre en compte de nombreux phénomènes dans les modèles développés avec pour conséquence, une difficulté d’interprétation entre les données d’entrée et de sortie. En considérant moins de paramètres à la fois, les modèles simplifiés présentent alors l’avantage de pouvoir en séparer la participation dans le rendu global. En prenant comme point de départ une plaque simplement supportée rectangulaire orthotrope dite « spéciale » dans laquelle la table est inscrite, la forme de la table d’harmonie est recréée par ajout d’une densité de ressorts ponctuels dans le domaine complémentaire. Par couplage avec des superstructures collées sur chaque face, il est possible de déterminer le comportement vibratoire de l’instrument ainsi que le rayonnement acoustique à partir des impédances de rayonnement d’une plaque simplement supportée bafflée. Ce modèle analytique est par la suite couplé à une corde et résolu dans le domaine temporel et présente alors l’avantage de pouvoir évaluer perceptivement l’impact de modifications structurelles. L’originalité d’un tel calcul tient dans le fait que des forces d’interactions assurent la continuité entre les soussystèmes et deviennent des inconnues du problème, comme dans les problèmes de contacts ou de frottements. Enfin, la prise en compte des petites non-linéarités géométriques de la corde sera faite en les considérant comme des seconds membres des équations du mouvement, ce qui permet de conserver la notion de modeslinéaires / Ribbed structures are a current subject of study and they are often used in many industrial domain. Indeed, there use offers some advantages as for example in automotive domain to reduce the weight of vehicule that is an important actual constrain. In the musical domain ribbed structures are also often used and musical instruments mixed structural, perceptive and subjective considerations. In that domain, one of the main difficulties is to translate the language between the science and the music and to make equivalence between phenomena describe by the musicians and scientific indicators. The piano soundboard is a typical example of these ribbed structures and difficulties reported by piano makers are many. Nowadays, numerical computing resources allow to take into account some phenomena in modeling but as a consequence, it appears a “black box effect” between input and output data. Taking into account less parameters, reduced models offer the advantage to separate the influence of each parameter in the final result. Taking into account as starting point a simply supported rectangular plate with special orthotropy, the edges of the soundboard are described by an addition of punctual springs in the fictive domain. Coupling to it some stiffeners on the both faces, it is possible to calculate the vibratory behavior of the instrument such as the acoustic radiation through the acoustical radiation impedances of the baffled simply supported plate. This simplified analytical modeling is representative of phenomena found in the literature and is also well adapted to parametrical studies. So, it highlights the space localizations of vibration, due to the conception of the instrument, and allows studying the influence of structural parameters on the mobility along the bridge, the acoustical radiated power for example. In order to qualify, with a reduced computing cost, the influence of structural parameters on the perceived sound, this analytical model for ribbed structure is coupled to a string and solved in time domain.

Dans l'industrie sidérurgique, les fours de réchauffage sont les plus grands consommateurs d'énergie après les hauts fourneaux. Réduire leur consommation énergétique est donc la préoccupation majeure de la commande des fours. Dans un four de réchauffage, des brames d'acier sont chauffées en traversant successivement plusieurs zones, de la température ambiante à un profil de température homogène de 1250 °C en sortie du four, avant d’être laminées dans les laminoirs à chaud. La température de brames est contrôlée par une structure de commande hiérarchisée à deux niveaux (niveau 1 et 2).L'objectif de ces travaux est d'améliorer la performance du chauffage et donc de réduire la consommation énergétique du four via une stratégie de commande prédictive distribuée hiérarchisée sur les deux niveaux de commande. Une approche de commande prédictive distribuée est tout d’abord développée pour le niveau 1 afin de suivre les consignes de température de zone, prenant en compte les couplages entre les zones et induisant une moindre complexité d’implantation par rapport à une approche centralisée. L’implantation industrielle a permis une amélioration significative de la précision du suivi de température et une réduction de la consommation d'énergie de 3%. Une deuxième étape propose l’élaboration de la commande prédictive hiérarchisée du niveau 2 afin, à partir de la consigne de température de brame, de déterminer les consignes de température optimales des zones en se fondant sur un modèle de transfert thermique du four. Les résultats de simulation, comparés aux données industrielles, montrent une réduction de la consommation énergétique de 5% et une meilleure qualité de chauffage des brames. L’approche précédente est enfin étendue pour prendre en compte et optimiser le cadencement des brames afin d’augmenter la productivité du four. La simulation montre une augmentation potentielle de productivité du four de 15 tonnes par heure tout en améliorant la qualité de chauffage des brames. / In steel industry, reheating furnaces are the biggest energy consumers after blast furnaces. As a result, reduction of energy consumption is the major concern of furnace control. In a walking-beam slab reheating furnace, steel slabs are heated by moving through successive zones from ambient temperature to a homogenous temperature profile of 1250°C at the furnace exit, to be rolled subsequently in the hot rolling mills. Temperature of slabs is controlled mainly by a two-level hierarchical structure, so called level 1 and level 2.The aim of this thesis is to improve the heating performance and consequently to reduce the energy consumption of the furnace by using hierarchical distributed model predictive control (MPC) strategy for both levels. In a first step, distributed model predictive controllers are developed for the level 1 in order to track zone temperature set-points. The distributed feature of the control law enables to consider coupling effects between zones while reducing the computation complexity compared to a complete centralized approach. The industrial results showed significant improvement on temperature tracking accuracy and an energy consumption reduction of 3%. In a second step, the hierarchical MPC is constructed for the level 2 in order to determine the optimal zones temperature setpoint from the slab temperature setpoint, based on a numerical heat transfer model of the furnace. The simulation results obtained with this strategy compared against industrial data show an energy consumption reduction of 5% and a better heating quality. The previous structure is finally extended to take into account and optimize the scheduling of the slabs within the MPC level 2 in order to increase productivity of the considered furnace. The simulation shows a potential increase of productivity of the furnace of 15 tons per hour while improving the slab heating quality.

Dimensionering av grundkonstruktioner : En jämförelse av bäddmodulers inverkan på moment / Dimensioning of foundation : A comparison of subgrade modulus effect on bending moment

Vid beräkning av grundkonstruktioner tillämpas ofta Winkler-modellen där jorden ersätts med en fjäderbädd som motsvarar jordens styvhet, en så kallad bäddmodul. Samverkanseffekter försummas ofta i dagens sätt att ansätta bäddmoduler och konsekvensen av detta blir att oförutsedda dragspänningar uppstår. Syftet med undersökningen är att ge konstruktörer ett underlag så de kan välja en beräkningsmodell som ger beräkningsförutsättningar vid dimensionering av grundkonstruktioner som tar hänsyn till samverkanseffekter. Målet är att påvisa hur samverkanseffekter och ansättning av bäddmodul påverkar delar av grundkonstruktionen med hänsyn till moment. Tre olika metoder för att beräkna bäddmoduler och två olika sätt att ansätta dessa har studerats med avseende på hur moment uppträder i grundkonstruktionen. Sex modeller har analyserats i datorprogrammet FEM-Design genom fyra valda sektioner i grundkonstruktionen. Resultatet visar att val av bäddmodul inte påverkar formen på momentkurvan men att det maximala momentet kan variera stort. Resultatet påvisar även att det uppstår zoner med dragspänning i konstruktionens överkant som en effekt av samverkan. / The Winkler-model is often applied when calculating foundation slabs. The model intend to replace the subgrade with a bedding of vertical springs that corresponds with the stiffness of the soil. The integration of the foundation slab is often neglected in todays approved methods of implementing subgrade modulus. The consequence of this overlook may cause unforeseen tensile stress in the foundation. The purpose of this study is to support engineers in their decision of choosing a model and provide proper conditions designing slabs taking into account for interplay of the whole foundation structure. The aim is to demonstrate how the interplay in the construction and the application of the subgrade modulus affects parts of the foundation regarding bending moment. Three different methods of calculating subgrade modulus and two ways of application have been studied with purpose to illustrate how bending moment appear in the structure. Four sections have been selected to represent the structural behavior to analyze six model cases in the FEM-Design program. The result indicates the choosing of subgrade modulus affect maximum value of bending moment although the appearance of the momentum curve are not affected. Results also show that zones of tensile stress occur at the top of the foundation as an effect of integration effects of the whole structure.

O objetivo principal deste trabalho é apresentar um modelo de análise probabilística do comportamento ao longo do tempo de estruturas de concreto. Para isso, é realizada a análise probabilística em conjunto com análise numérica. A análise numérica é realizada através de um programa computacional, baseado no método dos elementos finitos, que considera o comportamento não-linear e dependente do tempo dos materiais, assim como o processo evolutivo da construção. Para determinar o efeito das incertezas dos parâmetros é realizada uma análise probabilística, utilizando o método de amostragem por hipercubo latino. O modelo apresentado pode ser aplicado para a análise probabilística do comportamento ao longo do tempo das estruturas de concreto em geral. No entanto, foi aplicado na análise das flechas diferidas de lajes pré-moldadas formadas por vigotas com armação treliçada. Com esta análise, pôde-se propor um coeficiente multiplicador das flechas imediatas para a avaliação das flechas diferidas no tempo. O coeficiente multiplicador obtido para as lajes pré-moldadas formadas por vigotas com armação treliçada pode alcançar valores muito superiores ao fator 'alfa'f recomendado pela NBR 6118 (2003) para o caso de vigas de concreto armado. / The goal of this research is to present a probabilistic analysis model of the long-term behavior of concrete structures. For that, the probabilistic analysis is carried out together with numerical analysis. The numerical analysis is carried out using a software based on the finite element method that takes into account the nonlinear and time dependent behavior of the materials, as well as the evolutionary construction process. A probabilistic analysis is carried out in order to determine the effects of the uncertainties of the parameters, using latin hypercube sampling method. The presented model can be applied in the probabilistic analysis of the long-term behavior of concrete structures in general. However, it was applied in the analysis of the long-term deflections of precast slabs made by joist with lattice reinforcement. By this analysis, a multiplier coefficient of immediate deflections to evaluate long-term deflections could be proposed. The multiplier coefficient obtained for precast slabs made by joist with lattice reinforcement can reach values much higher than the factor 'alfa'f recommended by NBR 6118 (2003) for the case of reinforced concrete beams.

Os compósitos são materiais formados por duas fases de diferentes propriedades químicas e físicas, sendo uma matriz e um reforço, que apresentam alta rigidez, melhores respostas à fadiga sob cargas cíclicas, leveza e resistência mecânica, o que os torna viáveis para substituir materiais nobres e de custo elevado, com diversas aplicações na aeronáutica, nos esportes, na indústria bélica e principalmente na construção civil. Além disso, os compósitos podem ser obtidos a partir da incorporação de resíduos em sua composição, solucionando problemas como o descarte irregular. Com o intuito de contribuir nessa área de conhecimento o presente estudo propôs o desenvolvimento de um compósito em forma de placas poliméricas a partir da incorporação do agregado reciclado de poliuretana termofixa reciclado à resina vegetal de mamona e à mantas de fibra de vidro. Para isso, o trabalho estabeleceu uma metodologia na qual o resíduo industrial de poliuretana termofixa é transformado em agregado reciclado, a partir de processos de corte e moagem, caracterização e classificação segundo as normas NBR 10.004 a 10.007 (ABNT, 2004). Na sequência, com o auxílio de uma prensa térmica, foi possível confeccionar as placas poliméricas e caracterizálas quanto às suas propriedades mecânicas (tração, flexão, punção), físicas (absorção em água, inchamento, densidade e dureza), térmicas (condutividade térmica) e quanto ao seu potencial de durabilidade (resistência ao impacto, à abrasão superficial, ao ataque químico, à exposição ao ultravioleta e às intempéries, resistividade elétrica e flamabilidade). Os resultados obtidos por meio dos ensaios realizados apontaram que os parâmetros ensaiados comportaram-se como materiais semelhantes àqueles utilizados na construção civil, o que possibilita a utilização do material desenvolvido nesta pesquisa em aplicações por este setor. / This study proposes the development of a composite material in the form of polymer slabs. The material is created from the incorporation of recycled thermoset polyurethane to castor oil resin and glass fiber mats. Composite materials are formed by two phases with different chemical and physical properties. One phase is a matrix, and the other a reinforcement. These materials are highly stiff, light, have mechanical strength and present better responses to fatigue under cyclic loads. These properties make them a substitute for noble materials, being eligible for uses in aviation, sports, the arms industry and, specially, civil construction. Furthermore, composites may be obtained by the incorporation of residue, solving problems of waste disposal. In the procedures undertaken, the industrial waste of thermoset polyurethane is transformed into a recycled aggregate, achieved by the cutting, grinding, characterization and classification in compliance to the ABNT standards (NBR 10.004 to10.007). Afterwards, with the use of a thermal press, it was possible to produce the slabs and characterize them according to the following properties: mechanical (tensile strength, and puncture), physical (water absorption, swelling and stiffness), thermal (conductivity) and the potential durability (resistance to impact, abrasion, chemical attack. ultraviolet and weather exposure, electrical resistance, and flammability). The test results indicated that the composite behaves similarly to materials used in civil construction, which enables its use in the area.

Influência da rigidez vertical no comportamento mecânico e dimensionamento da via permanente ferroviária. / Influence of vertical stiffness on elastic behavior and desing of railroad tracks.

A via permanente representa um elemento imprescindível na composição do transporte ferroviário e seu desempenho deve ser adequado, de forma a garantir tanto segurança quanto conforto. Assim, diversos aspectos devem ser analisados ainda na fase de projeto, através de dimensionamentos que confrontem diferentes parâmetros da resposta da via e os limites estabelecidos. Dessa forma, o conhecimento do comportamento mecânico da via, devido aos esforços impostos pela passagem do material rodante, passa a ser essencial no projeto de uma estrutura que garanta os requisitos necessários, sem ser inviável economicamente. Visto que esse comportamento mecânico é muito sensível à rigidez vertical da estrutura, o presente trabalho apresenta análises da influência desse parâmetro na resposta da via e, consequentemente, no seu dimensionamento. Nesse contexto, o trabalho abrange tanto o caso de vias em lastro solicitadas por trens de carga, quanto o caso de vias em laje solicitadas por trens de passageiros em meios urbanos. No primeiro caso são realizados estudos paramétricos, por meio de modelos clássicos e um modelo mecanicista, para a análise de momentos fletores e deflexões nos trilhos, bem como tensões verticais nas camadas de lastro, sub-lastro e subleito. Já no segundo caso, são realizados estudos paramétricos relativos à transmissibilidade e à atenuação de vibrações causadoras de ruído secundário. Também é feita uma análise da influência da rigidez vertical na amplificação dinâmica das cargas estáticas, que pode ser aplicada a ambos os casos citados e até extrapolada para casos de vias de alta velocidade. Os resultados mostraram que aumentos de rigidez vertical resultam em ganhos do ponto de vista de momentos fletores e deflexões nos trilhos, além de maior resistência e capacidade de dissipação de tensões verticais nas camadas de lastro, sub-lastro e subleito. Por outro lado, esses aumentos também levaram a maiores tensões nas camadas subjacentes à grade citadas, além de atenuações de vibrações em menores intervalos de frequência e maiores amplificações dinâmicas das cargas estáticas em vias de alta velocidade. Assim, é mostrado que a influência da rigidez vertical, tanto da via como um todo quanto de alguns elementos específicos, não deve ser analisada de forma genérica, pois, dependendo do parâmetro da resposta da via considerado no dimensionamento, seu aumento pode representar uma influência positiva ou negativa. / The railway track is an essential element in the composition of rail transport and its performance should be adequate to ensure both safety and comfort. Therefore, several aspects should be analyzed still in the project phase, through project designs that compare the response of the track from the point of view of different parameters and some stablished limits. Thus, the knowledge of the mechanical behavior of the track due to stresses imposed by the passage of rolling stock becomes essential to the design of a structure which ensures the necessary requirements, without being uneconomic. Since this mechanical behavior is very sensitive to vertical stiffness of the structure, this thesis presents some analyses about the influence of this parameter in the track response and, consequently, in its design. In this context, the research covers both the case of ballasted tracks with freight trains and the case of slab tracks with passenger trains in urban areas. In the first case, parametric studies are performed by means of classical and mechanistic models with analyses of bending moments and deflections in rails, as well as the vertical stresses on ballast, sub-ballast and subgrade layers. In the second, it was analyzed in the parametric studies the transmission and attenuation of vibrations causing ground borne vibration. In addition to these, there is also an analysis of the influence of the vertical stiffness in dynamic amplification of the static loads, which can be applied to both the mentioned cases and even extrapolated to cases of high-speed railways. The results showed that stiffness increases result in positive gains from the point of view of bending moments and deflections in rails, as well as higher strength and dissipation of vertical stresses on ballast, sub-ballast and subgrade layers. On the other hand, this increase of stiffness also lead to higher pressures on the layers cited, in addition to attenuation of vibrations in lower frequency ranges and higher dynamic amplifications of static loads in the case of high-speed operation. Thus, the influence of vertical stiffness should not be analyzed in a generic way, because, depending on the parameter of the track response considered, it can represent a positive or negative influence.

Análise da interação placa-viga via método dos elementos de contorno / Analysis of plate-beam interaction by the Boundary Element Method

Este trabalho apresenta o estudo de uma formulação do método dos elementos de contorno para a análise da interação placa-viga de pavimentos de edifícios. Para compatibilizar adequadamente as vigas e a placa, é utilizada uma formulação alternativa do método dos elementos de contorno para placas delgadas em que, a viga é modelada por equações diferenciais ordinárias e, a compatibilidade entre a placa e a viga é feita por meio dos deslocamentos e forças de ligação nos nós dos elementos. Após a imposição das condições de contorno e resolução final do sistema de equações, são obtidos os esforços nas vigas e deslocamentos na placa, que por fim são confrontados com outras formulações. Exemplos foram analisados demonstrando uma ótima concordância com os exemplos obtidos por outras formulações. / This work presents a formulation of the boundary element method for the analysis of plate-beam interaction in buildings floors. In order to properly match the beams and plate is used an alternative formulation of the boundary element method for thin plates, in which the beam is modeled by ordinary differential equations and the compatibility between plate and beam is done by the displacements and forces of connection in the nodes of the elements. After applying boundary conditions and final resolution of the system of equations, efforts are obtained in beams and plate displacements, that are confronted with other formulations. Samples were analyzed showing excellent results compared with those obtained by other formulations.

Etudes expérimentales et numériques du comportement des dalles épaisses en béton armé avec épingles sous cisaillement : Application aux bâtiments nucléaires / Experimental and numerical studies of the behavior of reinforced concrete slabs with stirrups subjected to shear : Application to nuclear buildings

Cette thèse, en s’appuyant sur l’expérimentation et la modélisation numérique vise à une meilleure compréhension du comportement des dalles épaisses en béton armé sous sollicitations de cisaillement. Le cas particulier des dalles avec épingles est d’ailleurs spécifiquement étudié et comparé aux dalles sans armatures d’effort tranchant, l’influence de l’effort membrane est également abordé. Une synthèse bibliographique a tout d’abord été effectuée pour mettre en évidence les paramètres agissant sur la contrainte de cisaillement à travers les résultats des travaux et études précédentes comme la résistance caractéristique du béton en compression, le taux d’armatures longitudinales et transversales, et le rapport a/d, la taille des granulats. La campagne expérimentale a ensuite été réalisée sur trente dalles dont 9 dalles sans épingles et 21 dalles avec épingles partagées en quatre séries, la première conçue pour étudier le comportement global et local au cisaillement, la deuxième pour analyser l’interaction des épingles avec les armatures longitudinales, la troisième pour étudier l’effet d’un effort axial sur la résistance au cisaillement et vérifier s’il existe une interférence des aciers d’effort tranchant sur l’effort axial et la quatrième pour étudier l’effet de l’engrènement des granulats en faisant varier la taille de leur diamètre maximal. Les résultats montrent l’augmentation de la résistance au cisaillement grâce aux épingles mais également l’interaction de ceux-ci avec les armatures longitudinales et l’effort de compression. Pour ce qui est de l’influence de l’augmentation du diamètre des granulats, celle-ci est supplantée par les épingles qui remplacent cet effet. Les résultats expérimentaux sont comparés aux prévisions basées sur l’Eurocode 2, l’Annexe Nationale Française, le Fib Model Code 2010 et l’ACI 318-14. Les résultats montrent que globalement l’approche française ANF et le fib Model Code 2010 donnent des résultats très proches des valeurs expérimentales. L’EC2 donne également des résultats acceptables avec des marges de sécurité raisonnable. La comparaison des résultats analytiques obtenus avec l’EC2, l’ACI 318-14, le Fib Model Code montre que l’ANF donnent de bons résultats. La modélisation des dalles, en utilisant le modèle de béton élasto-plastique avec endommagement d’ABAQUS EXPLICIT, donne les meilleurs résultats en comparaison avec la campagne expérimentale, tant pour la détermination de la charge ultime et de l’effort tranchant maximal que pour le mode de rupture qui est similaire au mode de rupture expérimental. / This thesis, based on experimentation and numerical modeling aims at a better understanding of the behaviour of reinforced concrete slabs equipped with shear reinforcements, by measuring the effect of stirrups on their shear strength. A bibliographical synthesis was first carried out to highlight the parameters acting on the shear stress through the results of previous work and studies such as the characteristic resistance of concrete in compression, the rate of longitudinal and transverse reinforcements, the shear to span ratio the size of the aggregates and the applying of an axial load. The experimental campaign was then carried out on thirty slabs including 9 slabs without shear reinforcement and 21 slabs with stirrups shared in four series, the first designed to study the global and local shear behaviour, the second to analyze the interaction of the stirrups with the longitudinal reinforcement, the third to study the effect of an axial effort on the shear strength and to check whether there is interference from the shear reinforcement on the behaviour of axial effort and the fourth to study the effect of meshing of aggregates by varying the size of their maximum diameter. The results confirm the shear gain through the adding of stirrups and also their interaction with longitudinal reinforcement and axial compression. Also, the stirrups cancel the effect of increasing the diameter of concrete aggregates. The experimental results are compared with the forecasts based on Eurocode 2, the French national Annex, the Fib Model Code 2010 and the ACI 318-14. The results show that overall the French approach ANF (avg = 1.00, std = 0.08) and the fib Model Code 2010 give very close results of experimental values. The EC2 also gives acceptable results with reasonable security margins. Comparison of the analytical results obtained with the EC2, the ACI 318-14, the Fib Model Code shows that both the ANF is successful; The best average of the "experimental shear strength and the numerical shear strength ratio (1.014) was obtained with the ANF (0.03). The modeling of slabs, using the elastoplastic concrete model with damage through ABAQUS EXPLICIT gives results comparable to the experimental results, not only for the determination of the ultimate load and the maximum shear strength but also for the failure mode which is similar to the experimental one.

Neste trabalho analisa-se a resistência à punção e a ductilidade das ligações laje-pilar em doze modelos de lajes-cogumelo de concreto armado, nas quais se efetuam combinações de emprego de concreto de alta resistência, diferentes volumes de fibras de aço e uso de armadura transversal na forma de conectores de aço tipo pino. Todas as lajes são quadradas com 1160 mm de lado e 100 mm de espessura. A armadura de flexão foi composta de barras de aço de 10 mm espaçadas de tal forma a resistir a um momento fletor único em ambas direções. Os conectores, quando utilizados, foram dispostos radialmente e compostos de barras de aço de 6.6 mm soldadas a segmentos de ferro chato nas duas extremidades. Para avaliar a capacidade resistente dos modelos de ligação laje-pilar e observar o ganho de ductilidade que as fibras proporcionam, foram ensaiados segmentos-de-laje, os quais representam uma faixa destes modelos de ligação laje-pilar. Foi utilizado um sistema de ensaio dotado de atuador hidráulico servo-controlado, programado para ensaio com deformação controlada e aquisição contínua dos dados, o que permitiu a avaliação do comportamento pós-pico de resistência e a realização de medições de resistência residual. Várias hipóteses de cálculo foram utilizadas para avaliar a resistência última das ligações laje-pilar. Empregou-se um critério de classificação para caracterizar o tipo de ruptura em: punção ou flexão predominante ou uma combinação de punção-flexão. Constatou-se que o emprego de concreto de alta resistência, juntamente com armadura transversal, aumenta substancialmente a resistência da ligação laje-pilar, e quando combinado com fibras de aço, consegue-se um considerável aumento da ductilidade. / This work analyses the punching shear resistance and ductility of slab-column connections on twelve concrete flat slab models. The model characteristics resulted from combinations of the application of high or ordinary strength concrete, different steel fiber volume fractions and use or not of shear reinforcement. All the slabs are square with 1,160 mm of side and 100 mm of thickness. The main flexural reinforcement was composed of 10 mm steel bars spaced in such a way to resist to the same bending moment in both directions. When used, the shear reinforcement of steel studs were disposed in radial directions and consisted of 6.6 mm steel bars welded to flat steel segments in their ends. To evaluate the resistant capacity of slab-column connection models and to observe the ductility that the fibers provide, they were rehearsed segments-of-slab, which represents a strip of these slab-column connection models. A testing system with a servo-controlled hydraulic jack was used and it was programmed for a controlled deformation test and continuous data acquisition. This method allowed the evaluation of the post-peak strength behavior and the measurement of residual resistance forces. Several calculations hypotheses were used to evaluate the ultimate strength of the slab-column connections. A classification criterium was applied to characterize the failure type as: predominant punching or flexure or a combination of punching-flexure. It was verified that the application of high strength concrete, together with shear reinforcement, increases substantially the slab-column connection strength, and, when combined with steel fibers, a considerable ductility increase is achieved.

[pt] Esta dissertação apresenta um novo tipo de laje mista com uso de perfil de chapa dobrada incorporada. O perfil substitui as barras de aço, a fôrma e as escoras. O sistema estrutural construído consistiu em uma laje mista com perfil C enrijecido preenchido com concreto estrutural. Foram realizados dez testes experimentais em que foram analisados os momentos positivos, os momentos negativos e a influência de séptos. Através da análise teórico-experimental, foi possível perceber a grande influência dos séptos na resistência das lajes mistas testadas. / [en] This work presents a new type of composite deck-slab using incorporate formed steel profiles. The steel profile replaces the reinforcement bars, the form and charry system. The structural system is built by one composite deck-slab with C stiffness steel profile, filed with reinforced concrete. It was performed ten tested and it was analyzed the positive moments, the negative moments and the influence of the diaphragm. Analizing the results it was possible to realize the great influence of the diaphragm over the resistence of composite deck slab tested.
