O trabalho teve como objetivo estabelecer metodologias para os testes de germinação e vigor com ênfase no teste de condutividade elétrica para a avaliação da qualidade fisiológica de sementes de ervilha forrageira (Pisum sativum subsp. arvense). Para estabelecer a metodologia do teste de germinação utilizou-se quatro lotes sendo dois da cultivar IAPAR 83 e dois da BRS Forrageira. Foram testadas cinco temperaturas (15ºC, 20ºC, 25ºC, 20-30ºC e 15-25ºC) e dois substratos (areia e papel). Para a metodologia para o teste de condutividade elétrica foram utilizados dez lotes da cultivar IAPAR 83. Foram realizados os testes de germinação, primeira contagem de germinação, emergência de plântulas em casa de vegetação para caracterização dos lotes e estudos específicos para os testes de condutividade elétrica (temperaturas de 20ºC e 25ºC, volumes de 75mL e 250mL de água, 50 sementes, e períodos de 8, 16, 20, 24 e 28 horas). Concluiu-se que o teste de germinação para ervilha forrageira deve ser conduzido a 20ºC em rolo de papel com primeira contagem e contagem final ao 4º e 7º dia, respectivamente. O teste de condutividade elétrica utilizando 50 sementes embebidas em 250 mL de água, na temperatura de 25ºC por 24 horas mostrou-se promissor para a diferenciação de lotes de sementes de ervilha forrageira / Seed quality is an important role in the establishment of crops. It is consensual that seed germination and vigor are important tools for the production process and must be evaluated. The present research had as objective to establish methodologies for the germination and electrical conductivity tests to evaluate physiological quality of forage pea seeds (Pisum sativum subsp. arvense). Two lots of the cultivar „IAPAR 83‟ and two lots of the cultivar „BRS Forrageira‟ were used to establish the methods for the germination test. Five temperatures (15ºC, 20ºC, 25ºC, 20-30ºC and 15-25ºC) and two substrates (between sand and rolled paper towel) were tested. Ten lots of the cultivar „IAPAR 83‟ were studied to establish the methodology for the electrical conductivity test. Germination, first count of germination and seedling emergence in greenhouse were studied. For the electrical conductivity test, different temperatures (20ºC and 25ºC), water volumes (75 mL and 250 mL) and imbibition periods (8, 16, 20, 24 and 28 hours) were evaluated. It was concluded that the germination test for forage pea seeds must be carried out under 20ºC and in rolled paper towels with first counting and final counting to the 4 and 10 days after sowing, respectively. The electrical conductivity test is sensitive to differentiate seedlots of forage pea whenever conducted with 50 seeds imbibed in 250 mL of water under 25ºC for 24 hours

Antibacterial activity of garlic (Allium sativum) against probiotic Bifidobacterium speciesBooyens, Jemma January 2013 (has links)
During the past decade there has been an explosion in the probiotic industry due to an increase in concern for health. It is well known that these probiotic products offer consumers numerous health benefits and that viability of cultures in these products need to be maintained at high levels. It is therefore important to test for antimicrobial compounds or substances that may come into contact with probiotics and thereby negatively affect and decrease their viability. Garlic (Allium sativum) has been used as a natural medicinal remedy for thousands of years and research has shown that it has antimicrobial activity against a wide variety of microorganisms. Although it has been tested against numerous pathogenic microorganisms, there have been few studies on its effect on beneficial bacteria, specifically probiotic Bifidobacterium species. A great amount of work and money is put into preparing probiotic products with sufficient numbers of viable bacterial cells. All these are devoted to ensure that the consumers seize the optimal purported health benefits from probiotic cultures incorporated within the different products. Hence it is necessary to recognize any compound or substance that poses a threat to viability of these probiotic cells, thereby rendering them ineffective.
Therefore, the current study aimed at determining whether garlic had any antibacterial activity towards selected Bifidobacterium spp. In vitro studies revealed that garlic has an inhibitory effect on these specific probiotic bacteria. The disk diffusion assay revealed antibacterial activity of garlic preparations characterized by inhibition zones ranging from 13.0 ± 1.7 to 36.7 ± 1.2 mm. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values for garlic clove extract ranged from 75.9 to 303.5 mg/ml (estimated to contain 24.84 to 99.37 μg/ml allicin) while the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) ranged from 10.24 to 198.74 μg/ml

allicin. Susceptibility of the tested Bifidobacterium species to garlic varied between species as well as between strains even within a small numbers of the tested bifidobacteria. Among the tested Bifidobacterium spp., B. bifidum LMG 11041 was most susceptible to garlic, whereas B. lactis Bi-07 300B was the most resistant. These results were contrary to what has been generally published in literature, that garlic selectively kills pathogens without negatively affecting beneficial bacteria. Garlic clove, garlic powder, garlic paste and garlic spice showed varying degrees of potency, with fresh garlic clove extract and garlic paste extract having the highest and lowest antibifidobacterial activity, respectively.
It became necessary to investigate the actual antibacterial mechanism of action of garlic on Bifidobacterium spp., upon realization that its extracts inhibits growth of or kills some of these bacteria, whose contribution to health and well being of consumers is to a large extent dependent on their viability. This was determined by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. Scanning electron microscopy was used to investigate the effect of garlic on the morphology and cell surface properties of the tested strains while FT-IR spectroscopy was used to determine any biochemical changes taking place in garlic-treated bifidobacteria. Scanning electron microscopy showed various morphological changes such as cell elongation, distorted cells with bulbous ends and cocci-shaped cells. Behavioural changes were also observed such as swarming of cells was also observed. FT-IR spectra confirmed that garlic damaged Bifidobacterium cells by inducing biochemical changes within the cells. It identified some of the main targets sites of garlic on bifidobacteria, mainly, the nucleic acids and fatty acids (lipids) in the cell membrane.
Flow cytometry analysis was used to determine the level at which the garlic decreased the viability of Bifidobacterium cells as well as the extent of damage induced by the garlic. Results revealed a drop in viability with associated decrease in stainability of some the cells, for all strains upon treatment with garlic clove extract. The inability of cells to be stained by nucleic acid stains, hence presence of cells referred to as ‘ghost cells’, has been associated with extensive damage and lysis of cellular membranes resulting in loss nucleic acids. Interestingly, re-inoculation of the cells analysed by flow cytometry into a fresh growth medium and their subsequent reanalysis using the same technique showed an increase in percentage of viable cells and a decrease in percentages of damaged, unstained and dead cells. This suggested that injured cells were able to recover and regress to their active state. Therefore, Bifidobacterium cells exposed to sub lethal amounts of garlic can repair any damage and regrow. However, it was not determined how long active compounds of garlic remain stable within the gastrointestinal tract.
This study is the first, according to our knowledge, to show that garlic exhibits antibacterial activity against beneficial bacteria specifically, probiotic bifidobacteria. Furthermore, the results revealed that the mechanism of action of garlic towards bifidobacteria is similar to that which was reported for pathogenic bacteria. Bacterial death and growth inhibition occurs due to damage to the fatty acids/lipids in the cell membrane, modification of the nucleic acids (DNA and RNA).
This study is of significant importance to consumers, medical practitioners as well as to the probiotic industry. It suggests that if garlic comes into contact with probiotic bifidobacteria, they die and thus become unable to deliver the promised health benefits to the consumers. Therefore, consumers should be advised against ingestion of probiotic products and garlic simultaneously, as this study reveals that garlic does indeed inhibit some probiotic Bifidobacterium spp. The probiotic industry should also consider including this information on their product labels to make consumers aware of this fact. Failure to include this information may lead to market deterioration due to loss of interest in the products as soon as consumers realize they do not get their money’s worth from the products. Lastly, medical practitioners should also be made aware of this as they also prescribe probiotics to patients for various health reasons. The effect of food matrices on the antibacterial effects, as well as determination of how long the active compounds of garlic remain within the gastrointestinal tract, in relation to levels of garlic ingested will confirm whether indeed there is concern. Genetické aspekty domestikačního znaku pukavosti lusku u hrachuČevelová, Lucie January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is the study of the genetic substance of the important domestication sign pod dehiscence. Two types of pea were analyzed, with indehiscence pods JI92 (Pisum sativum subsp. sativum) and wild field pea with dehiscent pods JI64. (Pisum sativum subsp. elatius). By reciprocal crossbreeding of these two lines, were created recombinant inbred lines (RILs), of a total of 134 RILs lines were selected with 9 contrast lines. We utilized the massive parallel sequencing of the 3'ends of the cDNA, obtained by reverse transcription of mRNA isolated from the seam. Thanks to this method, 3 candidate genes were generated. Subsequently, we determined the expression of these three candidate genes for the using quantitative Real-Time PCR (RT-qPCR). Amplification curves and Ct values generated from the RT-qPCR were subsequently used to generate graphs to show the degree of expression of the candidate genes. The most suitable candidate was the Ps15 gene, which is present in LGIII in the Dpo1 region, and therefore could be responsible for pod dehiscence.

Otimização do cultivo in vitro visando a transformação genética das cultivares brasileiras de alho (Allium sativum L.) / Optimization of in vitro culture aiming at genetic transformation of Brazilian garlic (Allium sativum L.) cultivarsScotton, Danielle Camargo 14 September 2007 (has links)
O melhoramento do alho (Allium sativum L.) está limitado à seleção clonal de genótipos mutantes, uma vez que a quase totalidade do germoplasma da espécie é sexualmente estéril, não florescendo nas condições padrões de cultivo. A esterilidade do alho tem implicações não somente no melhoramento da espécie, mas também influi diretamente nos custos de produção. A necessidade de propagação vegetativa utilizando-se bulbilhos (\"dentes\") como material propagativo facilita a transmissão de doenças por vírus e pragas. A manipulação genética do alho com genes associados ao florescimento via Agrobacterium tumefaciens poderia permitir o desenvolvimento de um sistema mais eficaz para propagação da cultura e habilitar novas combinações genéticas. Portanto, o objetivo desse trabalho foi estabelecer protocolos de regeneração para cultivares comerciais brasileiras de alho, bem como de transformação genética mediada por A. tumefaciens de calos oriundos de segmentos radiculares. Foram utilizadas oito cultivares de alho, divididas em três grupos: semi-nobres de ciclo médio (\'Amarante-Embrapa\'; \'Roxinho 5063\'; \'IAC 75 - Gigante de Curitibanos\'; \'IAC 63 - Mexicano Br\'; e \'Lavínia 1632\'); comum, de ciclo médio (\'Cateto Roxo\') e de ciclo precoce (\'Cajuru 2315\'); e nobre vernalizado (\'Jonas\'). Para cada cultivar, foram isolados segmentos radiculares de bulbilhos cultivados in vitro. Esses explantes foram mantidos em cultura durante 60 dias em meio MS, adicionado de 4,5 \'mü\'M 2,4-D e 0,5 \'mü\'M iP para obtenção de calos. Os calos obtidos foram transferidos para meio MS suplementado com 8,8 \'mü\'M BAP e 0,1 \'mü\'M ANA, e avaliados quanto à freqüência de regeneração. Inicialmente, foram analisados diversos fatores durante a introdução dos bulbilhos e na obtenção de calo para cada cultivar. Esses resultados permitiram realizar testes para avaliar o potencial de regeneração dos calos obtidos, e a cultivar \'Jonas\' apresentou a melhor taxa de regeneração via organogênese indireta (84%), seguida da cultivar \'Amarante\' (52%), \'IAC 63\' e \'Cajuru\' (47%) e a cultivar que apresentou a menor taxa foi a \'Lavínia\' (30%). Foi analisada a dose letal de higromicina ou canamicina, testando concentrações crescentes visando identificar os níveis ótimos de uso como agentes seletivos para a transformação. As doses acima de 50 mg/L de higromicina ou 200 mg/L de canamicina foram letais ao cultivo de calos de todas cultivares. A cultivar \'Jonas\' foi utilizada para o estabelecimento do procedimento de transformação via A. tumefaciens LBA4404(pCAMBIA1303), empregando como repórter o gene uidA (\'beta\'-glucuronídase) para determinação da eficiência da transformação. Foi demonstrado que a cultivar foi a \'Jonas\' apresentou o melhor potencial de calogênese e de regeneração, sendo o meio de cultura proposto por Kondo, Hasegawa e Suzuki (2000) o melhor para regeneração das cultivares brasileiras. Além disso, as cultivares brasileiras de alho parecem ser passíveis de transformação via A. tumefaciens / Garlic (Allium sativum L.) breeding has been limited to clonal selection of mutant genotypes, since almost all the species germplasm is sterile, not flowering under standard culture conditions. Garlic sterility affects not only breeding but also directly influences production costs. Further, the requirement of vegetative propagation using small bulbs as propagules increases the risk of pest and viral disease transmission. Genetic manipulation of garlic introducing genes associated with flowering by Agrobacterium tumefaciens would allow the development of an efficient system for propagation and enable new genetic recombination. Thus, the objective of this work was to establish an in vitro regeneration protocol for commercial Brazilian cultivars of garlic, as well as genetic transformation by A. tumefaciens using calli derived from root segments. Eight garlic cultivars were used, derived from three groups: medium cycle semi-noble (\'Amarante-Embrapa\'; \'Roxinho 5063\'; \'IAC 75 - Gigante de Curitibanos\'; \'IAC 63 - Mexicano Br\'; and \'Lavínia 1632\'); common garlic with medium (\'Cateto Roxo\'), or early cycle (\'Cajuru 2315\'); and from vernalized noble (\'Jonas\'). From each cultivar, root segments from small bulbs cultivated in vitro were isolated. These explantes were maintained in MS media supplemented with 4,5 \'mü\'M 2,4-D e 0,5 \'mü\'M iP for 60 days to develop callus. The calli were then transferred to fresh MS media containing 8,8 \'mü\'M BAP e 0,1 \'mü\'M ANA, and evaluated for regeneration frequency. Initially, diverse factors were analyzed for each cultivar during the introduction of the small bulbs and during calli development. These results enabled to conduct test of callus regeneration potential, with \'Jonas\' showing the best regeneration rate via indirect organogenesis (84%), followed by cultivar \'Amarante\' (52%), \'IAC 63\' and \'Cajuru\' (47%). The cultivar with less regeneration was \'Lavínia\' (30%). The lethal dosis of hygromycin or kanamycin were estimated, testing increasing concentrations to establish optimum levels to be adopted as selective agents for transformation. Doses above 50 mg/L hygromycin or 200 mg/L kanamycin were lethal to callus of all cultivars. Cultivar \'Jonas\' was chosen for the establishment of the genetic transformation protocol via A. tumefaciens LBA4404 (pCAMBIA1303), using uidA as a reporter gene (\'beta\'-glucuronídase) to determine the transformation efficiency. \'Jonas\' was the best cultivar in terms of callus and regeneration potential using the regeneration media proposed by Kondo, Hasegawa and Suzuki (2000). Previous issue date: 2012-02-13 / This study aimed to assess, as the consistency of the grouping, hierarchical clustering methods UPGMA and Ward and optimization Tocher and modified Tocher by application of Fisher discriminant analysis in groups obtained with each method in the study of genetic divergence among garlic accessions, also identifying the most dissimilar access. The groupings were based on the Mahalanobis distance, which also allowed to quantify the relative importance of characters. The accessions with the highest dissimilarity accesses were 13 (BGH 4505) and 61 (BGH 5958), especially in relation to the average weight of the bulb and productivity. Modified Tocher methods, UPGMA and Ward algorithm presented results agree with each other and form groups. However, the Fisher discriminant analysis applied to groups of hierarchical methods (UPGMA and Ward) showed the lowest apparent error, therefore, more consistent methods for studying the genetic diversity of garlic accessions. / Este estudo teve por objetivo avaliar, quanto a consistência do agrupamento, os
métodos de agrupamentos hierárquicos UPGMA e Ward e os de otimização de
Tocher e Tocher modificado, pela aplicação da análise discriminante de Fisher
aos grupos obtidos com cada método, em estudo da divergência genética entre
acessos de alho, identificando também os acessos mais dissimilares. Os
agrupamentos foram realizados com base na distância generalizada de Mahalanobis, que também permitiu quantificar a importância relativa dos caracteres. Os acessos que apresentaram maior dissimilaridade foram os acessos 13 (BGH 4505) e 61 (BGH 5958), principalmente em relação ao peso médio do bulbo e produtividade. Os métodos de Tocher modificado, UPGMA e algoritmo de Ward apresentaram resultados concordantes entre si quanto a formação dos grupos. No entanto, pela análise discriminante de Fisher aplicada aos grupos dos métodos hierárquicos (UPGMA e Ward) observou-se as menores taxas de erro aparente, sendo, portanto, os métodos mais consistentes para o estudo da diversidade genética de acessos de alho.

Previous issue date: 2012-07-16 / The objective of this study was to choose a nonlinear regression model that best described the dry matter accumulation in different parts of the plant garlic over time (60, 90, 120 and 150 days after planting). Were used 20 garlic accessions belonging to the Vegetable Germplasm Bank of Universidade Federal de Viçosa. In order to work only with groups of similar accessions, was applied the cluster analysis in order to obtaining these clusters. The dry matter of leaf, pseudostem, bulb and root were defined as variables in this cluster analysis, which was conducted by the Ward algorithm, using as dissimilarity measure the Mahalanobis distance. Based on Mojena s method to determine the number of groups, was formed three groups of accessions, whose means of dry matter of bulb, of root and of the whole plant were used to fitting of seven nonlinear regression models, namely : Mitscherlich, Gompertz, Logistic, Meloun I Meloun II, von Bertalanffy and Brody. Aiming to choose the best fitted model to the three characteristics of each group were calculated coefficient of determination (R2), the error mean square (EMS) and the average deviation absolut error. Comparing the values of the evaluators found that, for the three characteristics of the three groups, the best fit model was the Logistic model. / O objetivo deste estudo foi escolher um modelo de regressão não linear que melhor descreve o acúmulo de matéria seca de diferentes partes da planta do alho ao longo do tempo (60, 90, 120 e 150 dias após plantio). Foram utilizados 20 acessos de alho pertencentes ao Banco de Germoplasma de Hortaliças da Universidade Federal de Viçosa (BGH/UFV). A fim de se trabalhar apenas com grupos de acessos semelhantes, aplicou-se a análise de agrupamento para a formação desses grupos. As matérias secas da folha, do pseudocaule, do bulbo e da raiz foram definidas como as variáveis nessa análise de agrupamento, que foi realizado por meio do algoritmo de Ward, utilizando como medida de dissimilaridade a distância generalizada de Mahalanobis. O número ótimo de grupos foi determinado por meio do Método de Mojena, o qual indicou três grupos de acessos, cujas médias de matéria seca do bulbo, da raiz e total da planta foram utilizadas para o ajuste de sete modelos de regressão não linear, a saber: Mitscherlich, Gompertz, Logístico, Meloun I, Meloun II, Brody e von Bertalanffy. A identificação do modelo que melhor se ajustou as três características de cada grupo foi realizada mediante coeficiente de determinação (R2), o quadrado médio do resíduo (QMR) e o desvio médio absoluto dos resíduos (DMA). Comparando os valores desses avaliadores observou-se que, para as três caraterísticas dos três grupos, o modelo que melhor se ajustou foi o modelo Logístico.

Cluster analysis and regression models are techniques largely employed for such. The objective of this study was to identify and to group nonlinear regression models that best describe the dry matter accumulation of garlic plants over time (60, 90, 120 and 150 days after planting). 15 garlic accessions belonging to the Vegetable Germplasm Bank of Universidade Federal de Viçosa (BGH/UFV) were selected. The following nonlinear regression models were adjusted for each one of the accesses: Brody, Gompertz, Logistic, Mitscherlich and von Bertalanffy. The fit quality of the models was measured by the determination coefficient ( R 2 ); mean squared error ( MSE ); mean absolute deviation of the error ( DMA ); Akaike information criterion ( AIC ); and Bayesian information criterion ( BIC ).Then, for each access, the models were submitted the grouping analysis, with the appraisers of fit quality used as variables, using the UPGMA algorithm, the Mahalanobis distance as dissimilarity measure, and Mojena's method to obtain the number of groups. The adjusted models for each access were again grouped following the same criterion, but using the parameters with biological interpretation as variables, and the results of the different clustering analysis were then confronted. Comparing the results, it was observed that the Gompertz, Logistic and von Bertalanffy models presented better results, and they had close results in fit quality and estimates of the parameters. These three models, especially the Logistic, were efficient for the description of dry matter accumulation of garlic plants. / Estudos de divergência genética entre indivíduos ou populações de plantas e sua trajetória de crescimento são de grande importância em programas de melhoramento, sendo essenciais para a obtenção de informações relevantes para um manejo adequado das plantas. Das técnicas empregadas para tal, a análise de agrupamento e modelos de regressão são amplamente utilizados. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo foi identificar e agrupar modelos de regressão não linear que melhor se ajustam na descrição do acúmulo de matéria seca total da planta do alho ao longo do tempo (60, 90, 120 e 150 dias após plantio). Foram utilizados 15 acessos de alho pertencentes ao Banco de Germoplasma de Hortaliças da Universidade Federal de Viçosa (BGH/UFV). Os modelos de regressão não linear ajustados para cada um dos acessos foram: Brody, Gompertz, Logístico, Mitscherlich e von Bertalanffy. A qualidade de ajuste dos modelos foi determinada pelo coeficiente de determinação ( R 2 ); quadrado médio do resíduo ( QMR ); desvio médio absoluto dos resíduos ( DMA ); critério de informação de Akaike ( AIC ); e critério de informação Bayesiano ( BIC ). Então, para cada acesso, os modelos foram submetidos a análise de agrupamento, com os avaliadores de qualidade de ajuste considerados como variáveis, utilizando o algoritmo UPGMA, a distância generalizada de Mahalanobis como medida de dissimilaridade, e número de grupos determinado pelo método de Mojena. Depois, os modelos ajustados para cada acesso foram novamente agrupados seguindo o mesmo critério, mas utilizando os parâmetros com interpretação biológica como variáveis, e os resultados dos diferentes agrupamentos foram então confrontados. Comparando os resultados dos agrupamentos, observou-se que os modelos Gompertz, Logístico, e von Bertalanffy apresentaram melhores resultados quanto aos avaliadores de qualidade de ajuste, e tiveram resultados próximos quanto a estes e quanto as estimativas dos parâmetros. Estes três modelos se mostraram eficientes para descrição de matéria seca total da planta em acessos de alho, especialmente o modelo Logístico.

The experimental design was randomized complete blocks in a 2 x 12 factorial scheme, with three replications. The treatments consisted of the combination of two coriander cultivars (Verdão and Tabocas) with twelve planting spacings (0.20m x 0.05m, 0.20m x 0.06m, 0.20m x 0.07m, 0.20m x 0.10m, 0.25m x 0.05m, 0.25m x 0.06m, 0.25m x 0.07m, 0.25m x 0.10m,
0.30m x 0.05m, 0.30m x 0.06m, 0.30m x 0.07m and 0.30m x 0.10m). Evaluations of plant height, number of stalks per plant, leaf/stalk ratio, number of marketable bunches per m² and estimated yields of green mass and dry mass were made from the coriander crop. Previous issue date: 2016-11-24 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The post-harvest storage can be an important tool for garlic producers, when the objective is to provide good quality product to the consumer market not only at the time of the harvest, but also to obtain better prices on the market. Thus, the aim with this study was to evaluate the physicochemical characterization of common and noble garlic according to storage time. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design with four replications. The treatments were arranged in split plots, and the plots were represented by garlic cultivars: BRS Hozan and Roxo Pérola de Caçador and the subplots were represented by the storage time: 0, 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after the toilet. We evaluated: weight loss, pith index, soluble solids, total, titratable acidity, pH, soluble solids / titratable acidity, pungency, total solids and industrial index. With the storage time there was an increase in weight loss, pith index and titratable acidity, besides reduction in pH, SS /AT ratio and industrial index. The Roxo Pérola de Caçador had greater storage potential than Hozan cultivar / O armazenamento pós-colheita pode ser uma ferramenta importante para os produtores de alho, quando se deseja fornecer produto de boa qualidade ao mercado consumidor não apenas na época da safra, como também para obtenção de melhores preços no mercado. Desse modo, objetivou-se com o presente trabalho avaliar a caracterização físico-química de alho comum e nobre em função do tempo de armazenamento. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos casualizados, com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos foram dispostos em parcelas subdivididas, sendo as parcelas representadas pelas cultivares de alho: BRS Hozan e Roxo Pérola de Caçador, e as subparcelas pelo tempo de armazenamento: 0, 30, 60, 90 e 120 dias após o toalete. Foram avaliadas: perda de peso, índice de chochamento, sólidos solúveis, acidez titulável, pH, relação sólidos solúveis/acidez titulável, pungência, sólidos totais e índice industrial. Com o tempo de armazenamento, houve aumento na perda de peso, índice de chochamento e acidez titulável, além de redução no pH, relação SS/AT e índice industrial. A cultivar Roxo Pérola de Caçador teve maior potencial de armazenamento que a cultivar Hozan / 2017-02-16
