The environmental researches are especially effective in the protected territories in which different objects of landscape, nature and culture are preserved. Combined with the teaching curriculum, such researches can visibly improve the practical pupils’ skills. They can improve the natural pupil’s abilities, foster the skills of critical thinking, problem solving and other important skills for the member of the contemporary society member, as well as to train the creative skills and one’s spiritual culture. The object of this research is the protected territories of Birzai and their usage in the teaching process. Savanoriškos veiklos situacija Lietuvos saugomose teritorijose pagrindžiama ir teoriškai, ir praktiškai. Pasiektas darbo ir tyrimo tikslas, patvirtintos darbe keliamos hipotezės, išsiaiškinama kiek direkcijų yra susidūrusios su savanoriška veikla, kokios priežastys to, jog direkcijoje nebuvo ar nėra vykdoma savanoriška veikla, taip pat sužinome, ar direkcijos suinteresuotos priimti savanorius, kiek jų yra priėmę, iš kokių šalių, kokio amžiaus ir lyties, kokius darbus atlieka savanoriai ir kaip šiuos darbus vertina pačios direkcijos. Labai svarbu, jog atskleidžiamos šios veiklos problemos ir aiškūs šių problemų sprendimo ir savanoriškos veiklos proceso gerinimo būdai, taip pat aiškinamasi kokia yra savanorių motyvacija pasirenkant ir atliekant darbus, atskleidžiama savanorystės svarba ir būtinumas. / A situation of volunteering in the protected areas of Lithuania is based in both theory and practice. The result of the paper and research was achieved; a hypothesis of the paper was confirmed. The paper analyzed how many directorates are familiar with volunteering, what are the reasons for having or not having volunteers; also, it reveals whether directorates are interested in accepting volunteers, how many volunteers there are, from which countries, their age range and gender, which works are carried out by volunteers, and which works are carried out by the directorate. It is important that the paper reveals problems and clear solutions for these problems, as well as steps for improving the volunteering process, and also it analyzes whether volunteers have motivation to choose and carry out works, reveals the importance and necessity of volunteering.

Spartus saugomų teritorijų tinklo kūrimas Šiaulių regione prasidėjo po Lietuvos nepriklausomybės atkūrimo. Šiuo metu saugomos teritorijos regione užima 114158 ha arba 13,4% visos teritorijos, šalies mastu - 15,3%. Europos Sąjungos valstybių vidurkis- 18%. Perspektyvoje saugomų teritorijų plotas turėtų didėti, kadangi valstybinės saugomų teritorijų tarnybos strateginiuose veiklos planuose iki 2015m. numatyta jų plotą padidinti iki 16,7%. Nuo 2000 m. regione prasidėjo Europos ekologinio tinklo NATURA 2000 kūrimo procesas, šį tinklą sudaro paukščių apsaugai svarbios teritorijos (PAST) ir buveinių apsaugai svarbios teritorijos (BAST). NATURA 2000 teritorijos Šiaulių regione užima 7,1 % teritorijos, Lietuvoje- 6%, Europos Sąjungos valstybių vidurkis-14%. Didžioji dalis ekologinio tinklo įkurta jau saugomose teritorijose- draustiniuose, biosferos poligonuose. PAST jau yra patvirtintos Europos Komisijos, o vietovės, atitinkančios buveinių apsaugai svarbių teritorijų atrankos kriterijus, bus patvirtintos per artimiausius 4 metus. NATURA 2000 tinklo kūrimas prisidės prie nykstančių rūšių populiacijos išsaugojimo, atlikus tyrimą paaiškėjo, kad Šiaulių regione iš 162 saugomų į Lietuvos Raudonąją knygą įrašytų rūšių: 76 (47%) rūšys yra ties išnykimo riba arba sparčiai nyksta. Today protected territories in the region cover 114158 ha or 13,4% of the whole territory, to the country extend it makes 15,3%. The average in the European Union counties makes 18%. The area of the protected territories should be increased in the perspective as the strategic plans of activity of the State Service for Protected Areas suppose to expand these territories up to 16,7% before the year 2015. The creation process of the European Ecological Net NATURA began in the region in the year 2000; the Net consists of territories important for birds’ protection (TIBP) and territories important for residence protection (TIRP). The NATURA 2000 covers 7,1% of the region territory and 6% of the State territory, the average in the European Union counties makes 14%. The greater part of the Ecologic Net is established in the territories which are already protected, in the biosphere ground. Tyrimo tikslas yra išanalizuoti Prienų rajono saugomų ir rekreacinių teritorijų tvarkymą ir naudojimą, aptarti, kuo unikalus šis rajonas. Tyrimo objektas yra Prienų rajono saugomos ir rekreacinės teritorijos. Tyrimo uţdaviniai: 1. Išanalizuoti Prienų rajono saugomų ir rekreacinių teritorijų infrastruktūros pritaikymą. 2. Aptarti Prienų rajono turizmo galimybes. 3. Atlikti anketinę apklausą, siekiant įvertinti saugomų teritorijų problemas, būklę bei nustatyti saugomų teritorijų rinkimų aktualumą. Tyrimo metodika. Tyrimui atlikti taikomi literatūros šaltinių analizės, statistinių duomenų analizės ir anketinės apklausos metodai. During the research it was established that restrictions of economic activity in protected areas make negative influence on the amount of money got from economic activity in those areas and that it is essential to compensate losses of those restrictions in order to follow restrictions of economic activity in protected areas.

Magistrinio darbo objektas – Krekenavos regioninis parkas. Šio darbo tikslas – išnagrinėti Krekenavos regioninio parko dabartinę situaciją, siūlomus pokyčius ir tolimesnes parko perspektyvas. Taip pat tiriama, su kokiomis problemomis susiduria parko teritorijoje gyvenantys žmonės, pateikiami pasiūlymai, kaip gerinti jų gyvenimo ir veiklos sąlygas. Darbe taip pat aptariami Krekenavos regioninio parko gamtinės aplinkos ypatumai, saugomi gamtos ir kultūros paveldo objektai, analizuojamos parko funkcinės zonos ir numatomi jų pokyčiai. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the current situation of Krekenava Regional Park, suggestions for changes and future perspectives of the park. Gražutės regioninis parkas įkurtas siekiant išsaugoti ežeringą ir miškingą Šventosios upės auštupio kraštovaizdį, jo gamtos ir kultūros paveldo vertybes. Gamtos vertybes sudaro 15 draustinių ir gausūs pavieniai objektai: 15 gemorfaloginių, 12 hidrologinių-hidrografinių ir 85 botaniniai-zoologiniai. Kultūros paveldo vertybes sudaro 42 archeologiniai, 21 architektūros, 59 memorialiniai, 26 dailės ir 5 etnografiniai objektai (viso157).Taigi, Gražutės regioniniame parke saugomas gausus paveldas, kuris būdingas visam Rytų Lietuvos regionui. / The park was established on purpose to protect laky and sylvan landscape of the Upper Sventoji and the nugget of its natural and cultural legacy. Protected nature objects combine 15 reservations and numerous unique monuments including 15 geomorphologic, 12 hydrological-hydrographical and 85 botanical-zoological objects. Cultural monument under protection include 42 archeological, 21 architectural, 59 memorial, 26 art and 5 ethnographical objects (total :157).The data leads to the conclusion that the Grazutes national park protects the abundance of nature and cultural inheritance which is typical to all the region of East Lithuania.

Šiame moksliniame darbe analizuojama rekreacija Lietuvos saugomose teritorijose bei jos poveikis šioms teritorijoms. Pagrindinis šio darbo tikslas – atlikti Nemuno kilpų regioninio parko lankytojų srautų analizę ir ištirti lankytojų poveikį gamtinei aplinkai. Vertinant lankytojus srautus regioniniame parke aptartos vyraujančios rekreacijos rūšys ir formos atskirose Nemuno kilpų regioninio parko dalyse. Panaudojus Nemuno kilpų regioninio parko direkcijos 2006-2008 metų atliktais kraštovaizdžio monitoringo programos rezultatus buvo analizuojamos lankymo apkrovos pažintiniuose, mokomuosiuose takuose, poilsiavietėse, stovyklavietėse. Natūrinių tyrimų metu buvo nustatomas lankytojų poveikis kraštovaizdžiui – rekreacinė digresija. Vertinami rodikliai ir matavimo vienetai – rekreacijos pažeidimo laipsnis (mažas, vidutinis, didelis) ir pobūdis (taškinis, linijinis, arealinis). Matavimai atlikti keturiose Nemuno kilpų regioninio parko vietose: Nemuno upės pakrantė ties Pociūnų kaimu, Žvėrinčiaus miškas prie Prienų estrados, prie Velniablūdžio pelkėje esančio pažintinio tako ir prie Balbieriškio atodangos apžvalgos aikštelės. Didžiausias pažeidimo plotas (arealinis pobūdis) ir mažas rekreacinės digresijos laipsnis užfiksuotas Pociūnų kaime, pušynėlyje, prie Nemuno upės. The purpose of this article is to analyse the impact of visitors and natural surroundings of regional park of Nemunas loops. The author analysed recreation use in regional park of Nemunas loops in terms of sort and form. By using Nemunas loops regional park landscape monitoring statistical data were made comparison load of visitor histograms (in educational and recreational trails, campsites and reviews site). Author did field study and determine visitors influence to the landscape – recreation digression. There were estimated indicators and units of measurements - recreation digression degree (small, medium, big) and character (dotted, linear, areal). Aplinkos apsaugos problema aktuali ne tik mūsų šalyje, bet ir visame pasaulyje. Norint išsaugoti unikalius gamtos ir kultūros paveldo objektus steigiamos saugomos teritorijos. Tačiau norint jas išsaugoti reikia ir visuomenės sąmoningumo. Todėl mokyklose į Pradinio ir pagrindinio ugdymo bendrąsias programas integruojamos bendrųjų kompetencijų programos, kuriomis siekiama išugdyti visapusišką asmenybę. Saugomos teritorijos turi vykdyti edukacines programas, šviesti visuomenę, o labiausiai bendradarbiauti su formaliojo ir neformaliojo ugdymo institucijomis. Tyrimo objektas: Edukacinė ir rekreacinė veikla Žagarės regioniniame parke. Tyrimo tikslas – Atskleisti teorines ir praktines edukacinės ir rekreacinės veiklos Žagarės reginiame parke galimybes. Protected territories are being set in order to preserve unique objects of nature and culture. But public awareness is needed too, in order to save those. So generic competence programs are being integrated into primary and compulsory education framework programs in order to help form versatile personalities. Protected areas are there to pursue educational programs, educate society and mostly important to cooperate with formal and informal educational institutions.
