This thesis represents the written portion of the Degree Requirements of the Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Design. The Thesis production of HAMLET, by Wm. Shakespeare (edited by Brian C. Parkinson), was the University of Lethbridge Department of Theatre and Dramatic Arts third show of the 2011 – 2012 Mainstage Theatre season, running February 14 – 18, 2012, performed at the University Theatre in the University of Lethbridge Centre for the Arts, Lethbridge, Alberta. Nesta dissertação inicialmente foi realizado um estudo sobre as ferramentas utilizadas pelas organizações para referendar seus planejamentos estratégicos, tecendo uma linha comparativa entre aquelas ações que projetam o futuro com base em acontecimentos passados e a criação de cenários prospectivos, método pelo qual são consideradas visões de possíveis futuros e as implicações destas, na atividade empresarial. Para alcançar o objetivo principal deste trabalho que é a avaliação do grau de dependência da economia do município de Dom Feliciano em relação a indústria fumageira, foi realizada uma pesquisa envolvendo uma amostra de 500 agricultores. A análise do resultado desta pesquisa acrescido pelas informações constantes nos dados estatísticos fornecidos pela Secretaria da Fazenda do município, identificam claramente a relação de dependência e apontam para a necessidade de criação e implementação de ações preventivas capazes de contornarem as possíveis turbulências identificadas na criação do cenário para o setor fumageiro. / This dissertation has as objetive an evatuation of the economical dependency to the smoking industry, of Dom Feliciano town. Inittialy, the author presents results os studies about tools used by organizations to verify is estrategic planning and for that, draw a comparative between the actions that project the future based on past events and the creation of prospective sceneries, which method is to consider possible future visions and its implications. The execution method of this work includes, beyond the bibliographic research, interview proceedings with specialists, analysis and evaluation of the town history, the utilization of different sources estatistical data and the research execution, which sample involved 500 farmer from the region. The analysis and the sceneries technique concludes enphasizing the economical dependençy relation and shows the necessity of the creation and implementation of preventive actions and/or economical focus change.

La poésie de célébration politique de la Pléiade est lue ici dans son rapport avec l'épopée, dont la Deffense formule le projet (1549), et dont la Franciade marque une réalisation incomplète (1572). Les pièces de célébration se relient à ce projet de nouvelle Enéide, qui les extrait des fastes éphémères de la fête dont elles se font l'écho : chaque poème est à la fois dans l'actualité de la circonstance et la virtualité du grand oeuvre où il doit s'accomplir. Celui-ci, envisagé comme un récit de fondation légitimant l'espoir d'un Empire immortel, se veut à la fois une mise en forme de l'Histoire, une image idéale du souverain et une construction poétique intégrant la culture antique au génie français. Les poètes de la génération Henri II célèbrent les Grands comme les héros de l'épopée en gestation et explorent les formes que pourra prendre cette célébration de la monarchie valoise. Le furor prophétique devient l'énonciation privilégiée du lyrisme politique. Pourtant, à la fin des années 1550, la formule n'engendre plus que sa propre répétition désenchantée, ou bien les poètes s'en détournent en signalant ironiquement sa vacuité. Dans la décennie suivante, lorsque le conflit armé rend l'Histoire incertaine, les poèmes de célébration habillent les Grands en bergers. La pastorale s'apparentait d'abord à une variation susceptible de revivifier le projet initial. Elle devient une alternative au modèle héroïque obsolète, en liaison avec des valeurs politiques et poétiques de séduction, d'aménité, de raffinement maniériste en accord avec la nature. / This thesis studies The Pleiade's poetry of political celebration in relation to the epic, with the examples of Deffense as a statement of this project (1549) and Franciade as an incomplete realization of it (1572). The celebration poems are part of this project of a new Aeneid, which removes them from the ephemeral splendour of the celebration which created them in the first place ; these poems fall both within the moment of the festive event and the virtuality of the great work in which they must come to fruition. This great work, seen as a tale of foundation legitimating the hope of an immortal Empire, wants to shape History as well as depict an ideal image of the sovereign and present a poetic construction inserting the culture of Antiquity to the French genius. During Henri II's reign, the poets celebrate the princes as the heroes of the developing epic and explore the forms that this celebration of the Valois monarchy could take. The prophetic furor becomes the privileged statement of political lyricism. Yet, at the end of the 1550s, the formula only creates its own disenchanted repetition, or poets abandon it by ironically pointing out its vacuity. During the decade that follows, while the armed conflict creates historical uncertainty, the celebration poems disguise the princes as shepherds. At the beginning, the pastoral was a variation that could rejuvenate the initial project. It transforms into an alternative to an obsolete heroic model, related with political and poetic values of seduction, appeased gentleness, mannerist refinement in harmony with nature.

Pour qui, à quelles fins, et comment exposer le théâtre? L’approche muséologique se veut ici à la fois méthode d’investigation du champ théâtral et éthique du muséal, dont elle envisage les enjeux, les moyens et la portée. L’exposition d’objets de théâtre, vestiges, témoins ou empreintes de la scène, ordonnés dans un parcours et intégrés à un propos, interroge la nature de l’événement scénique et de l’événement théâtral. Elle donne à voir l’objet en instance de signification, sans toutefois l’y réduire. Elle joue, pour ce faire, des affinités autant que des tensions entre présence scénique et présence muséale; elle offre, en réponse, une vision du théâtre en son histoire, mais aussi comme processus de création et de réception. L’exposition participe des temps du théâtre pour le visiteur et le spectateur d’aujourd’hui: elle peut être pensée à la fois comme espace de manipulation, par l'expositeur et par le visiteur, de la matière théâtrale (espace, temps, objets et textes) et comme lieu d’une philosophie de la scène, orientée vers un théâtre à venir. Son mode discursif spécifique est de l’ordre du montage, du discontinu et de la polyphonie. Le visiteur s’y exerce à différents régimes scopiques et intellectifs sur des formes théâtrales passées et présentes, met à l’épreuve une pensée du théâtre au contact de l’objet et à celui d’autres pensées, celles des praticiens de la scène, celle de l’expositeur. / For whom, to what end and how may theatre be exhibited? The museologic approach is meant to be both an investigating method of the theatrical field and a museum ethics, whose stakes, means and import it considers. Exhibiting theatre objects -- remnants, pieces of evidence or imprints of the stage -, arranged for display, and used as statements, questions the very nature of on-stage and theatrical events. It shows the object as becoming meaningful without confining it to its meaning. To such an end, it plays both on the similarities and tensions between being on stage and on display and it conveys, as a response, a vision of theatre as part of its own history but also as a process of creation and reception. The exhibition is a theatrical time in itself for today’s visitor and spectator: it can be thought of both as a place for the manipulation of theatrical material (space, time, objects and texts) and as one dedicated to a stage philosophy that looks into theatre as it could be in the future. Its specific discursive mode relies on montage, discontinuity and polyphony. It offers the visitor a chance to try different scopic and intellective regimes on present and past theatrical forms and to put theatre thinking to the test of the object itself and of other modes of thinking – those of stage practitioners and of the exhibitor.

The career of Danny Daniels was significant for its contribution to dance choreography for the stage and screen, and his development of concept choreography. Danny's dedication to the art of dance, and the integrity of the artistic process was matched by his support and love for the dancers who performed his choreographic works.

Sudarytas defekto atpažinimo algoritmas kurio realizavimas parodytas pasitelkiant Matlab programinį paketą. Pateikti pasiūlymai sistemos panaudojimui bei tolimesniam jos vystymui. / In this work examined composite materials, their characteristics and features. Examined the use of composite materials to aircraft structures manufacturing. Examined the potential defects and their occurrence causes. Discuss ultrasonic non-destructive control principles and applications of composite materials and structures research. We analyzed the formation of frontal acoustic scenery features and adaptability for material structural analysis. Examine the factors influencing the quality of ultrasound imaging and created structural diagram of acoustic scenery formation. Created the defect detection algorithm and demonstrated through the realization of the Matlab software package. Proposals for the use of the system and its further development.
