Magistrinio darbo tikslas – išanalizuoti socialinio darbuotojo veiklos ypatumus komandoje, teikiančioje socialines paslaugas neįgaliųjų globos institucijoje. Siekiant išnagrinėti šiuos ypatumus, darbe keliami tokie uždaviniai: atskleisti socialinių paslaugų organizavimo sistemos elementus neįgaliųjų globos institucijoje; išanalizuoti komandinio darbo taikymo galimybes, teikiant socialines paslaugas neįgaliųjų globos institucijoje; ištirti ir nustatyti socialinio darbuotojo veiklos ypatumus komandoje, teikiančioje socialines paslaugas neįgaliųjų globos institucijoje. Pirmoje darbo dalyje nagrinėjama socialinių paslaugų neįgaliesiems politika, socialinių paslaugų sistema neįgaliųjų globos institucijoje bei socialinio darbuotojo kompetencijos, teikiant socialines paslaugas neįgaliesiems. Antroje darbo dalyje analizuojama, kaip formuojamos komandos, kokia komandos struktūra, jos narių funkcijos bei atliekami vaidmenys. Trečioje darbo dalyje apibendrinami kokybinio tyrimo (interviu) duomenys bei nustatomi socialinio darbuotojo veiklos ypatumai komandoje, teikiančioje socialines paslaugas neįgaliųjų globos institucijoje. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The aim of this Master’s work is to analyse the pecularities of the social worker’s duties in a team, which provides social service at the institution for disabled people. In order to analyse these pecularities such goals are set: • To show the organization of the social service at the institution for disabled people; • To analyse the team work’s possibilities, providing social service at the institution for disabled people; • To investigate and to determine the social worker’s team work pecularities, providing the social service at the institution for disabled people. In the first part of this work the policy of the social service for disable, the system of social service at the institution for disabled and the competence of the social worker are analysed, providing social service at the institution for disabled people. In the second part we analyse how the team is formed, what its structure and the role of its members. Socialinio darbuotojo padėjėjas yra žmogus arčiausiai kliento, teikiantis socialinę pagalbą. Socialinis darbas Lietuvoje tik naujai atrandama profesija platesniame visuomenės kontekste. Šiame kontekste socialinis darbuotojas yra plėtros veikėjas, o socialinio darbuotojo padėjėjas tampa socialinės pagalbos teikėjas. Todėl socialinių darbuotojų padėjėjų veikla reikalauja išsamesnio tyrimo. Lietuvoje nėra atliktų tyrimų, atskleidžiančių socialinio darbuotojo padėjėjo veiklas, atliekamus vaidmenis socialinio darbo kontekste. Šis tyrimas – tai pirmasis bandymas pažvelgti į socialinio darbuotojo padėjėjo veiklą globos įstaigoje, kartu atskleidžiant socialinio darbuotojo padėjėjo dalyvavimą socialinio darbo profesijos veikloje, teikiant socialines paslaugas, ir jo indėlį, formuojant socialinio darbo profesijos sampratą Lietuvoje. In Lithuania social work is just a newly discovered profession in the broader context of society. In this context, the social worker is a public character of development and social worker‘s assistant becomes a provider of social support. Iš visų socialinio darbuotojų savybių gebėjimas bendrauti yra pats svarbiausias. Bendravimas yra pagrindinė socialinio darbuotojo darbo priemonė, nes nuo įgūdžių, žinių užmezgant ir palaikant santykius su rizikos šeimomis kyla įtaka iš supratimo apie žmonių skirtumus, socialinių problemų įvairovę, paslaugų prieinamumą ir šaltinius. / Risk families who has children have no motavation for changes and solve their problems by themselves. So the social woker is the direct element to help solve social problems for risk families. Comunication is the main thing of co-operation, because from knowleges and practice depends the undrestanding differences between people, social problems and kind of help. The social woker's job depends from quality of comunication and ability to communicate with a risk family. The social woker's has to be a very good profesional , to know how to communicate with families, try to find knew ways and methods to solve the problems.

Darbo tikslas: atskleisti socialinio darbuotojo vaidmenis, ugdant vaikų, gyvenančių NVGN “Vilniaus SOS vaikų kaimas“ socialinius įgūdžius. Uždaviniai: Išnagrinėti socialinių darbuotojų vaidmenys ir vaikų socialinių įgūdžių raišką mokslinėje literatūroje. Išanalizuoti NVGN „Vilniaus SOS vaikų kaimo“ socialinių įgūdžių ugdymo praktiką. Atskleisti socialinių darbuotojų vaidmenis, jų raišką NVGN „Vilniaus SOS vaikų kaime“ ugdant vaikų socialinius įgūdžius. Tyrimu buvo siekta atskleisti/nustatyti socialiniu darbuotoju vaidmenis SOS vaikų kaime, ugdant globotinių socialinius įgūdžius. Siekiant darbo tikslo buvo tirta NVGN „Vilniaus SOS vaikų kaime“ gyvenantys 10 – 15 m. amžiaus globotiniai (29 ), globos namuose dirbantys socialiniai darbuotojai (11). Tokia imtis pasirinkta pagal tokio amžiaus vaikų skaičių įstaigoje, ir jis padės išsiaiškinti bendras vaikų reprezentatyvines nuostatas. Tyrime dalyvaujančių socialinių darbuotojų skaičių lėmė įstaigoje dirbančių socialinių darbuotojų skaičius. Tokiu būdu, siekiama įtraukti į tyrimą tiek socialinius darbuotojus, tiek vaikus. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The aim of this study is to reveal the social worker's role in raising children living in non-governmental foster care home „NVGN Vilnius SOS Children's Village“ social skills. There were raised three tasks: 1. To study the scientific literature and examine roles of social workers and children's social skills. 2. To analyse social skills training practice in „NVGN Vilnius SOS Children's Village“. 3. To reveal the roles of social workers in developing children's social skills, and to so see how these roles display in „NVGN Vilnius SOS Children's Village". The study was aimed to determine the role of social worker in developing the social skills of foster children in the „SOS children's village“. For this purpose 29 at the age of 10 – 15 years old foster children and 11 social workers of „NVGN Vilnius SOS Children's Village“ were investigated. This research explores the lived experience of encountering mortality in the palliative care context. Six counsellors included in the study had served on a Palliative Care Crisis Team in the community and/or the in-patient unit of a hospice in a mid-sized Canadian city. Conducted as a phenomenological study, all co-participants electronically or face-to-face, answered 18 questions that were generated from an initial open-ended question, and answered other clarifying questions as requested. The author also tracked the experience of the experience, of encountering mortality, by creating a Sacred Mandala––a painting that involves a particular structure, meditation practices, and journal work––and analyzed her notes as part of the data. Themes identified were: responding to the call; the realities of death; being in the know and the impact of knowing; relationships–intensity, intimacy, connection and identification; the gift of stillness; encountering mortality can be mundane; being of service; finding balance between giving enough and receiving enough; being in the face of D/death; staying awake; and living life. It was found that encountering mortality is paradoxical, and that the struggle of holding opposing forces is necessary for transformation toward wholeness but requires structured support that needs to be offered when caregivers are entering the field and throughout their careers. In India, the estimated number of people in sex work is high - figures show an appraisal of three million female sex workers. Most women who enter sex work tend to be very young and do so due to severe economic circumstances. The situation is considered especially severe in some parts of India due to a combination of poverty and the low status of females, which contribute to their exploitation in the sex industry. This vulnerability often leads to women being marginalized and stigmatized from society.   The aim with this thesis is to investigate how social workers, at an organization in Pune, India, work with women in sex work and their children. What motivates the social workers to pursue work with this group? How do they feel about their work and their clients? Further questions we wanted to answer were how the organization worked to secure good and sufficient living conditions for the children. Our initial goal for this study was to examine how the staff members at Saheli Sangh work to prevent the children from entering sex work. While doing so, we gained knowledge about the social worker’s own thoughts, values and experiences of doing social work with this group. Hence, this newfound knowledge became our main focus throughout our study.   The results showed that education and safe housing were the primary interventions offered to prevent children from entering sex work. It also showed that the staff in the organization forms a special bond with the children and women with whom they work. To provide the needed interventions, the organization needs more resources and more support to combat negative perceptions and stigma from the society of women who do sex work and the social workers who help them address their needs. / I Indien är det uppskattade antalet personer i sexarbete högt - siffror visar en uppskattning på tre miljoner kvinnliga sexarbetare. De flesta kvinnor som börjar med sexarbete tenderar att vara väldigt unga och gör det på grund av svåra ekonomiska omständigheter. Situationen anses särskilt svår i vissa delar av Indien. Detta på grund av en kombination av fattigdom och kvinnornas låga ställning i samhället, vilket bidrar till deras utnyttjande i sexindustrin. Denna utsatthet leder ofta till att kvinnor marginaliseras och stigmatiseras.   Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur socialarbetare, i en organisation i Pune, Indien, arbetar med kvinnor i sexarbete och deras barn. Vad motiverar socialarbetarna att arbeta med denna grupp? Hur upplever de sitt arbete och sina klienter? Ytterligare frågor vi ville ha svar på var hur organisationen arbetade för att säkerställa goda och tillräckliga levnadsvillkor för barnen. Vårt ursprungliga syfte med denna studie var att undersöka hur socialarbetarna i organisationen arbetar för att förhindra barnen från att börja med sexarbete. Under processens gång fick även kunskap om socialarbetarens egna tankar, värderingar och erfarenheter av att arbeta med denna grupp. Därigenom blev denna nyfunna kunskap vårt huvudfokus under resten av vår studie.   Resultaten visade att utbildning och tryggt boende var de primära insatserna som erbjuds för att förhindra att barn börjar med sexarbete. De visade även på ett starkt band mellan personalen och de kvinnor och barn som de arbetar med. För att kunna erbjuda nödvändiga insatser behöver organisationen mer resurser samt stöd från samhället för att bekämpa den rådande negativa uppfattningen som finns om kvinnor i sexarbete.
