Master´s thesis deal with the supporting steel structure of multi-storey multifunction center in Opava. The complex consists of three sub-objects of three and five storeys with a total floor plan dimensions 48 m × 82.27 m. Five-floor building is designed with ground plan dimensions 42 m × 30 m with the distance of the poles 6.0 m x 6.0 m. The median three-storey building is designed with ground plan measuring 42 meters x 22.27 meters to the distance of the poles 6m x 5m. Ultra three-storey building is designed with ground plan dimensions 42 m × 30 m with the distance of the poles 6m x 6m. Construction of the complex height is 5m.

In intention of investor is to build on land number 2194/1 single apartment house for 13 families in location Slatina, city Brno. Apartment house is designed as a four-storey building, without basement. Ground plan has the shape of letter T. The maximum dimensions of 16,82 x 30,32 m. The roof is planned single-layer flat roof.The apartment building is designed as a walled insulated. The apartment building created thirteen apartment units.

The task of my master´s thesis was to work up a project and a check of a bearing steel construction the multi-storey office building with a garage in Brno. The building is composed of five storey office section and two storey of garage. Ground dimension of administrative part is 38,8m x 35m with distance of pillars 7m,6m and 6,4m. The structural height of floor is 3,5m.Garage is designed with dimensions 36m x 24,8m with structural height of floor 3,5m. Distance of pillars is 5,6m, 6,4m and 7,8m.Total height building is 17,5m

The subject of student work is to design supporting steel structure of administrative building of Czech television. This is a multi-storey building with square floor plan with recording studios. Supporting structure of the building is designed as frame and is solved with three variants.

Storstäderna växer och folk vill bo allt mer centralt, men det finns inte mycket yta att bygga på ifall man inte vill offra naturområden. En lösning är att bygga på höjden, det vill säga öka antalet våningar. Det är vad denna uppsats handlar om och hur bostads- och hyresrättsföreningar kan dra nytta av detta genom att öka sin ekonomiska vinning, samtidigt som de gör samhället en tjänst och är med och mättar behovet. Det denna uppsats kommer att behandla är hur ekonomin i olika föreningar ändras i samband med takpåbyggnad med en eller flera våningar och hur detta skiljer sig utifrån olika tekniska lösningar. Syftet är att utifrån detta skapa en uppsats som kan gagna framtida fastigheter som överväger att göra en sådan ombyggnation. De metoder vi kommer använda är granskning av dokumentation och handlingar från olika föreningar som har genomgått en takpåbyggnad av en eller flera våningar. Dessa kommer att användas för att göra uträkningar och egna analyser. Även intervjuer med styrelsemedlemmar i bostadsrättsföreningarna och företag som utför takombyggnationer förekommer. Tekniska och juridiska krav behandlas även om vad som generellt gäller för en takpåbyggnad. I slutet så sker en analys av objekten, där man får se resultatet av det som undersökts. Avslutningsvis så kommer slutsatsen som ger oss svaret att en bostadsrättsförenings ekonomi med största sannolikhet gynnas av en ombyggnation av detta slag om möjligheten finns. De variationer som förekom var oftast lägesrelaterade och man kan se en tydlig korrelation mellan vinsten och ju mer centralt man hamnade. Slutsatsen är alltså i sin enkelhet att om möjligheten finns så är en våningstakpåbyggnad med stor sannolikhet ett lönsamt alternativ. / The big cities are growing and people want to live ever more centrally, but there is not much space to build on if you do not want to sacrifice the natural areas. One solution is to build higher, namely increasing the number of floors. That's what this essay is about and how housing and tenancy associations can take advantage of this by increasing their financial gain, while they’re doing the community a service and is with and saturates need. There we will examine is how the economies of various compounds change with a storey extension with one or more floors and how this differs from different technical solutions. The aim is that by this create an essay that will benefit future properties that are considering doing such conversions. The methods we will use is the examination of records and documents of various cases that have undergone a storey extension of one or more floors. These will be used to make the calculations and their own analyzes. Interviews with board members of housing cooperatives and companies that perform storey extensions occur. Technical and legal claims are pending, although generally applicable for a storey extension. In the end this happens, an analysis of the items, where you see the results of what has been investigated. Finally it will conclude that gives us the answer to a housing association economy most likely benefits from a reconstruction of this kind if the possibility exists. The variations that occurred were usually locational and one can see a clear correlation between the gain and the more centrally it ended. The conclusion is thus in its simplicity that if there is a possibility to do a storey extension, then it probably is a viable alternative.

Undersökningens fokus är att belysa upplevelser av just förstalinjechefer inom kommunal verksamhet då vi önskar söka en bättre förståelse för hur cheferna upplever HRs stöd för att eventuellt kunna förbättra HR som servicefunktion. Studien riktar in sig på kommunal verksamhet då mycket av de befintliga teorier och modeller som finns är baserade vinstdrivande företag och vi anser att det finns en kunskapsbrist inom området. Studien är främst riktad som ett verktyg till HR men skildrar också kunskap som cheferna också kan ha användning av för att förstärka sitt samarbete med HR.Undersökningen är av kvalitativ ansats och genomfördes som djupintervju. Målstyrt- och snöbollsurval låg till grund för att komma i kontakt och välja respondenter. Intervjuguiden som är semistrukturerad består av frågor anpassade efter litteratur och teoriavsnitt enligt teorier som bland annat HRs värde, profession, hur HR får engagemang samt rollmodeller som beskriver HRs olika förhållningssätt gentemot cheferna.Resultatet visar bland annat på att cheferna uppfattar HR som diffust. Det finns brister vad gäller chefernas uppfattning av HRs syfte, arbetsbeskrivning och mandat. Det framkommer också att flertal chefer inte vet var man ska vända sig och med vilka frågor. Undersökningen visar också att förstalinjechefer endast ser roller som berör deras eget område och att viss förståelse saknas för HRs resterande arbetsuppgifter. Detta kan i sin tur leda till missnöje och missförstånd mellan parterna. Slutligen finns det områden i samarbetet mellan parterna som kan förbättras för att stärka ett samarbete. Däribland förbättra och tydliggöra kommunikation, främja relationen parterna emellan samt se över att HR har de resurser som krävs för att möta chefernas förväntningar och önskemål. Till exempel genom att anställa fler HR personal för att kunna fördela och prioritera arbetet bättre.

The theoretical and experimental investigations presented in this thesis are primarily related to the dynamic response of inelastic multi-storey building frames subjected to strong ground motions. The main purpose is to investigate, both analytically and experimentally, those aspects of the dynamic response characteristics which are of importance in aseismic design. In the first part of the thesis, the various parameters pertaining to the structural system are varied in a systematic manner and an assessment is made of the influence of this variation on the maximum response characteristics of the dynamic system. The second part of the thesis consists of an experimental investigation into the inelastic dynamic response of multi-storey frames. The comparison of experimentally obtained inelastic response and that predicted theoretically indicated a good agreement between the two. / Thesis / Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
