VPU „Šviesos“ futbolo komandos fizinis ir techninis rengimas metiniu treniruočių ciklu / Physical and technical training of VPU football team "Šviesa" during year cycle

Gražulis, Donatas 13 June 2006 (has links)
Analizuojamas studentų futbolo komandos žaidėjų rengimas metiniu treniruočių ciklu. / In the work we analyzed training year cycle (2004-2005) of students football team „Šviesa“. We analyzed variation of physical, functional, technical preparedness during year cycle. Aim of our work was to analyze alternation of physical, functional, technical preparedness of students football team „Šviesa“ during year cycle. The analysis of training year cycle showed that training year cycle represents A. Stula‘s (1994) recommendations. 2004-2005 year season was successful for football team „Šviesa“. Team „Šviesa -1“ won I place in „Žaibas“ tournament, III place in LSFL hall football championship, III place in LSFL championship. After results analysis, we can make assumption, that physical loads made in teams „Šviesa“ trainings trained aerobic capacity more than muscular strength and power. Laboratory tests showed that physical development changed slightly, except noticeable fat mass increase from 8,85 to 9,29 kg (p<0,05). Quickness tests indexes changed best of all physical preparedness tests results. Football players made 18 jumps from hexagon middle to outside, the result changed from 15,47 s to 13,93 s (p<0,025). During experimental period significant change of functions of cardiovascular and respiratory systems was observed. Index that reflect this well is Rufje index. This index got reliable better from 6.3 to 4.8 (p<0.025), though during third testing after summer holydays, this index returned to its present level (6.03). During year cycle indexes of pulse rate... [to full text]

Employee development programs: Employee motivation to attend voluntary technical trainings in High-tech companies in Sweden.

Seger, Alfiya, Graylee, Atoosa January 2013 (has links)
Nowadays, there is a major issue that increasing demand for employees learning and development: technological development. Technological development pushes employees to learn more and companies to offer development programs to their employees. There is always a need for employees to learn new skills, norms and values and develop the personal mastery. Organizations, on the other hand, should empower and encourage employee to develop and to perform a task. The purpose of this study is to identify and investigate the factors, which motivate employees for attending voluntary technical trainings, and to understand to what extent the managers affect employees’ willingness to participate in non-mandatory technical trainings in High-tech MNCs in Sweden. What motivates employees to attend non-mandatory technical development programs and trainings on products in High-tech companies in Sweden? To what extent does manager affect employees’ willingness to attend voluntary technical trainings? A mixed method is used in this research, which is a combination of both qualitative and quantitative methods. Seven semi-structured face-to-face Interviews were conducted with both senior managers and employees in studied companies. Survey was conducted online and sent to employees in four high-tech companies in Västmanland, Sweden. Conclusion: There are different motivations for employees to attend voluntary technical trainings in Sweden such as desire to stay updated with the technologies, self-fulfillment and interaction with others. Managers play a more supporting rather than supervisory role in the whole process of employees learning.

An examination of the theory and practice of project management knowledge and its transferability in Western Australia

O'Shea, Keith January 2008 (has links)
Acceptance and understanding of project management tends to be limited by project managers (PMs) who have a specific technical training and follow one or two major theories on project processes. Consequently, project managers may encounter difficulty in being ‘recognised’ by employers and moving from one professional discipline to another. The current research examines knowledge areas applied ‘in the field’ by project managers (PMs), and provides them with knowledge about the constancy of application of project theories; further, a new model of what constitutes PM and enables flexibility for PMs is suggested. As there was little extant literature about PMs being able to transfer from one professional discipline to another, or to what degree different knowledge areas were applied, it was determined that exploratory research was appropriate. The results strongly indicate that organisations that rely on programs and projects to support the delivery of their strategic objectives will benefit from implementation of the project management revised hypothetical model (Figure 13). The model incorporates the nine knowledge areas of The Project Management Institute (USA) and six knowledge areas extracted from the PM methodology PRINCE2. Further, the additional focus of People Specific Management (PSM) at Level 3 of the revised hypothetical model (Figure 13) is recommended. Qualifications for PMs do make a difference! In addition to demonstrating the importance of PM qualifications to augment PM’s successful transfer across disciplines, further research is suggested regarding the need for training to be ‘compulsory’ and follow the developmental levels described in the up-to-date model developed during the research (Figure 13).

La fabrique de l'enseignement technique : trois écoles professionnelles en France à la fin du XIXe siècle / The making of technical education : three technical schools at the end of the XIXth century

Mezeix, Capucine 28 November 2014 (has links)
This thesis sets out to account for the construction and the development of technical training in France, at an intermediary level of schooling, between 1880 and 1919, through the study of three technical schools during this period: the Ecole Nationale Professionnelle of Voiron, the Ecole Nationale d'Horlogerie of Cluses and the Ecole Vaucanson of Grenoble. A methodology combining histoire totale, monographic analysis and sociology of curriculum guides this study. The methodology of histoire totale shows how the technical, economic, industrial, political, geopolitical and educative contexts feed into the construction of technical training and the debates regarding its construction This type of education arises in a period of democratization of education in a context of technical progress and industrialization of France and reflects these changes. The monographic and comparative analysis of the three schools shows the steps of the creation of these schools. It highlights the experimenting, the transformations and the evolutions of the schools as they are integrated in the local and national educational landscape, the construction of the educational offer, the definition of admission requirements, the establishment of diplomas, the construction of job opportunities and the development of partnerships with the local firms and territory. The analysis of the curricula of the three schools focuses on the nature of the education and its evolution in order to characterize the underlying educational models. The numerous forces at stake drew the outline of reflections, mostly around the distribution between general, scientific and technical education, and guided the creation of the curricula. The study focuses on the educational goals of the schools and the pedagogical organization including the selection, the differentiation in sections, the discipline and the evaluation of students. The analysis of the programs through subjects' schedules shows the different choices of schools, from vocational training for laborers to elite training designed for skilled workers and even engineers. We propose the notion of fabrique (the making), to account for the construction of technical training during this period. This notion underlines the multiplicity of factors contained in the construction of technical training institutions and the negotiations associated with the long, experimental and unpredefined dimension of such a process. It also highlights that it is destined to reproduce and spread its products: institutions, technical education and trained students. We characterize the concept of fabrique and propose a generic definition which could be used as a model to study other technical institutions, in other countries or other periods. Our analysis of three technical schools at the turn of the XXth century shows that for a time these intermediary technical schools provided a high level education, based on technical progress and enlightened by the advance of science. They also bore a true individual and collective ambition for their students. These prototypical institutions, that can be qualified as elite institutions, will nevertheless not be developed afterwards. The possibilities which arose during this period of changes are brought to an end with the war. In spreading technical training schools to the whole French territory, the choice of decision-makers will then be to favor less ambitious institutions.

This thesis has as its object the training of Community Health Workers in Duque de Caxias. With the approval of the Federal Law No. 11 350/2002 imposing as a requirement for practicing the activity be completed successfully, the introductory course of initial and continuing training, and on the basis of Reference for the Technical Course for Community Health Agent this search aims to analyze how it is the formation of HCA in Duque de Caxias-RJ. For this interviewed 17 Community Health Workers, representing the City Health Department, a representative of RJ-SINDSPREV Workers Union Health, Labor and Welfare in the State of Rio de Janeiro, representative of the MUB - Municipal Federation of Neighborhood Associations and representative of the Municipal Councils and State Health Departments Thus, it is intended by the analysis of the segments involved in the construction of health in the municipality is performed to see how the training of ACS and how this training works (or not) to full implementation of the Health Strategy in that district. As a result we reached the conclusion that the Law was fulfilled in part because in 2007 the Municipal Health Department has provided initial training in a course of 400 hours Financed by the federal government, but thereafter the said office did not follow the technical training and took training as an end in itself and with the intention of training for combat injuries and illnesses. Through the analysis of speech movements and social institutions, is perceived the fact that the majority of ACS are appointed by political appointment and through work contracts and the absence of a brittle solid, consistent training these workers are not organized and thus cease to fight for rights and better working conditions.

A influência de palmares e parachute na coordenação dos nados / Effect of hand paddles and parachutes on swimming coordination

Telles, Thiago, 1986- 19 August 2018 (has links)
Orientador: Orival Andries Júnior / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-19T21:38:13Z (GMT). So, to optimize the displacement in swimmers can optimize the propulsive force. For this, can be used hand paddles and parachutes. The hand paddle enlarge the artificial area of the swimmers hand. The parachutes enlarge the drag on swimmers, so, they have to reorganize the neuromotor recruitment to overcome this increase on external resistance. Thus, during use of hand paddles there is decrease of stroke rate and during use of parachutes there is increase of stroke length, while the opposite occurs in both variables during use of both implements. However, on literature has few studies about coordenatives variables on overload in swimming, therefore, the aim of this study is investigate the influence of hand paddles and parachute on coordination of butterfly and front crawl swims. 21 estate level swimmers were the subjects of this study. They were specialized on butterfly swimming or front crawl swimming, all with experience in training with use of hand paddles and parachute. The tests protocol was four maximal-intensity conditions: without equipment, with hand paddles, with parachute, and with both hand paddles and parachute. All swimmers were filmed (60 frames per second, 1/1000 of shutter speed) from a moving sagittal view, with the aid of a trolley pulled by an operator at the same velocity as that of the swimmer. Swimming velocity, stroke rate, stroke length, stroke phase and leg kicking duration and index of coordination for each swim style were analyzed from videos. To according the overload, changed the speed of swimming. The stroke rate decreased with all implements. Stroke length increased only on hand paddles condition. No one stroke phase neither leg kicking were modify, for butterfly and front crawl swimming. The according for the experimental condition the index of coordination of butterfly swimming was modify while the index of coordination of front crawl swimming on overload appears to decrease the lag time of propulsive continuity. The implements use must programmed for training session and periodization. So, many researches are necessary for understanding the longitudinal effects of these implements / Mestrado / Biodinamica do Movimento e Esporte / Mestre em Educação Física

Transfer of Training Aircraft Maintenance: Perceptions of Blended Learning Impact

January 2019 (has links)
abstract: The focus of this study was to investigate better learning opportunities at the epicenter of field-level aircraft maintenance technical training for the United States Air Force. While narrow in focus, this project may be informative for training communities across diverse industries. The intent of this project is to improve the transfer of training from the classroom to the workplace by implementing a blended learning classroom pedagogy, successively enhancing class time for more meaningful construction of student-centered learning. This mixed-methods research study utilized surveys, observations, and interviews with students, instructors and supervisors to explore perceptions that aircraft maintainers have about the current and potential value of curriculum. The first significant finding was that aircraft maintainers do believe there is opportunity to improve the current rote transmission style of curriculum and make it more learner-centered. The second significant finding is that aircraft maintainers do see a blended learning classroom as a means to explore the curriculum in more depth and improve the transfer of their knowledge in a more meaningful way to the workplace. / Dissertation/Thesis / Doctoral Dissertation Educational Leadership and Policy Studies 2019
