The subject of this master work is the <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=internet&v=56">internet</a> information resource database. This work also handles the problems of old information systems which do not meet the new contemporary requirements. The aim is to create <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=internet&v=56">internet</a> information system, based on object-oriented technologies and tailored to <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=computer&v=56">computer</a> users’ needs. The <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=internet&v=56">internet</a> information database system helps <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=computers&v=56">computers</a> administrators to get the all needed information about <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=computers&v=56">computers</a> <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=network&v=56">network</a> elements and easy to register all changes into information database.

“Mobile information system” is designed for Kaunas University of Technology. This system operation is based on internet technologies and allows to use it form any remote computer. Also there is drafted reporting to concerned persons using various ways. This system is made with PHP and MySQl web application. The system allows teachers to display their calendar to others, send SMS and e-mail to other teachers and students.

The information system created performs the following functions: standardizes the process of failure registration and management; allows monitoring and receiving information in different sections adapted for certain groups; provides opportunity to evaluate the existing situation of provision with equipment and plan future investments within time scale; allows service of a whole group of users in one time. The information system has been created by using open source software – which enables to avoid additional investments.

In this master thesis the advanced design methodology is presented by which information systems requirements represented with precise UML models are transformed to project. The first section describes a research of five existing MDA tools comparison according to evaluation criteria. This criteria covers model to model and model to code transformations approach, platform of generated code and integration with UML CASE tools abilities. For requirements model transformation to design, plug-in for CASE tool MagicDraw is created according MDA standards. Model transformation plug-in takes system requirement model as input and generates design model. In this way it is possible to implement design methods that have explicit design rules. Created plug-in requirements, functional specification and architecture described in Project section. The investigation section describes investigation of the developed plug-in. In this section were investigate the working efficiency of designer increasing and the quality of design models ensuring with create MagicDraw plug-in.

In this thesis are analysed correctness for verification ability of UML activity diagrams by using hypergaphs. There suggested the transformation from UML activity diagram to hypergraph and verification algorithm of hypergraph, which can be used for expanding the capabilities of CASE tools for workflow and e-business modelling.

While information system is design it is very important to understand organization processes, their constrains in requirements level. The business rules structuring is one of the problem to design information system. In this article at large is analyzed business rules classification and description ways in database designing and planning methods, including presentation of their advantages and disadvantages. Basing on the analysis work, the model of the business rules structuring process is proposed and the possibilities for the further development of this models are described.
