Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / In the documentation of software architecture, it must be considered two relevant points: i) the architecture is composed by several visions, and ii) each vision identifies a set of components and interactions which allows a better understanding between developers and system programmers. The documentation of the components, when treating reusability, must present a set of information concerning its functionality and applicability in order to adapt them in
applications of same domain. When we think of interaction among components, the information concerning the communication messages must be well identified so that the
process of working may be clearly understood. This work shows the creation of a catalog of documentation patterns for the architecture of image processing and analysis systems
approaching on the concept of design patterns and architecture visions of UML which will be used as the base for designing the Patterns. Through its use, the developers will be more sure of which is necessary to document and safer when reusing components previously tested and documented. It is also shown in this work the development of templates environment of the Patterns in the tool MoinMoinWiki aiming at creating a scenery for collaborative work and also a repository of information on documentation of systems architecture and frameworks within image domain. / Na documentação da arquitetura de software deve ser considerado dois pontos relevantes: i) a arquitetura é composta por várias visões, e ii) cada visão identifica um
conjunto de componentes e interações, permitindo melhor compreensão entre desenvolvedores e projetistas do sistema. A documentação dos componentes, quando se tratando de reusabilidade, deve apresentar um conjunto de informações referente a sua funcionalidade e aplicabilidade a fim de adaptá-los em aplicações de mesmo domínio.
Quando pensando em interação entre componentes, as informações relacionadas às mensagens de comunicação devem ser bem identificadas, para que o processo de
funcionamento seja claramente entendido. Este trabalho apresenta a criação de um catálogo de Padrões de Documentação da Arquitetura de sistemas e frameworks para processamento e análise de imagens, abordando o conceito de design patterns e visões arquiteturais da UML,
as quais servirão de base para elaboração dos padrões. Através do uso desses, os desenvolvedores sentirão mais clareza do que é necessário documentar e mais seguros em
reusar componentes previamente testados e documentados. Apresenta-se também neste trabalho, o desenvolvimento de um ambiente de templates dos Padrões na ferramenta
MoinMoinWiki, com o objetivo de criar um cenário para o trabalho colaborativo, e também um repositório de informações sobre a documentação da arquitetura de sistemas e frameworks no domínio de imagens.

Propusemos a realização de um processo de investigação-ação escolar, com atividades de estudo mediadas pelo wiki do Moodle. Nos balizamos pelos conceitos de diálogo-problematizador, colaboração e autonomia, essenciais na interação escolar mediada pelas TIC livres, em especial nos Ambientes Virtuais de Ensino-Aprendizagem. Como resultado principal sinalizamos limites, desafios e avanços da referida mediação tecnológica educacional no escopo colaborativoescolar. / In this work we have investigated the collaborative mediation potential of free Communication and Information Technologies (CIT) present at the activity tool in Moodle's wiki. The objective was to change the way production occurs at presence, semi-presence and distance school processes and, to give greater fluency to Science and Technology in daily life. It was proposed the implementation of a school action research process with the school activities mediated by Moodle's wiki. We monitored our work with the concepts of a problem posing dialogue, collaboration and autonomy that are essential to school interactions mediated by free CIT, especially in a Virtual Teaching and Learning Environment. As a result from this work we delimitated the limits, challenges and advances of this educational technological mediation in a school collaborative scope.

Inom Linköpings kommun finns en decentraliserad organisation för publicering av material på Linköpings kommuns webbplats www.linkoping.se. Inom den ledande gruppen i organisationen har man insett att en wiki skulle kunna underlätta arbetet för medlemmarna i organisationen att dela kunskap med varandra. Studien syftar till att identifiera och verifiera faktorer som ger en framgångsrik wiki. Dessa kan sedan användas som bakgrund vid skapandet av en eventuell wiki för organisationen eller andra organisationer inom Linköpings kommun. Studien består av en litteraturstudie och en fallstudie av fallstudie av LKDATAs (affärsområdet för IT och kommunikation inom Linköpings kommun) dagligen använda och väl fungerande wiki. Litteraturstudien resulterade i sex utvalda framgångsfaktorer: Social kultur, Ledningens inflytande, Renommé, Nytta, Reciprocitet samt Användarvänlighet. Fallstudien genomfördes med hjälp av en enkätundersökning på LKDATA angående de fyra olika delarna inom användning: spenderad tid, frekvens av användning, frekvens av sökning samt frekvens av delning av information på wikin. Av svaren från enkäten gjordes en korrelationsanalys samt en regressionsanalys i SPSS. Analysen visade på svaga men signifikanta korrelationer mellan hur mycket wikin används och framförallt Nytta. Däremot kan inga slutsatser dras ur regressionsanalysen. Den viktigaste faktorn som påverkar användandet på LKDATA verkar dock vara vilken grupp den anställde tillhör och alltså vilka arbetsuppgifter denne har snarare än andra faktorer.

The growth of the web increased dramatically when users were provided with applications that let them use just their browser to post and edit content on the World Wide Web. Offering users the ability to use their browser to create their own web applications, instead of just posting text and images, would cause another Internet evolution. This thesis describes the EXPPO system (Extensible Page Productions and Operations), a web application development environment for both end-users and technical-users. EXPPO leverages the end-user's previous experience with internet browsers by using a page based development experience or a Page Oriented Architecture. Because applications are structured in this architecture, components used in one application can be re-used by another, providing end-users with functionality that was created by more technical users. This thesis demonstrates how the EXPPO development environment can be used to create functionally rich web applications.

Dock finns även möjligheter, vilka överväger nackdelarna. Accommodating and promoting multilingualism through blended learningOlivier, Jak 05 1900 (has links)
Multilingualism is a reality in South African classrooms. The Constitution of South Africa (Act 108 of 1996) and the national language policy recognize language rights and aims at supporting, promoting and developing the official languages. However, despite the advantages of mother tongue education, English is often chosen as language of learning and teaching at the cost of the African official languages. This study proposes the accommodation and promotion of multilingualism through blended learning.Blended learning refers to the blending of traditional instruction methods, such as face-to-face instruction, with other forms of instruction such as online learning and teaching. Through a discussion of asynchronous and synchronous learning tools it was established that wikis would be used for this study. In terms of blended learning and learning theories the main emphasis in this study is on socio-constructivism as well as communal constructivism.The empirical research in this study focused on the establishment and testing of a conceptual model for the accommodation and promotion of multilingualism through blended learning in the subject IT. The research took the form of a sequential embedded mixed methods design. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches were used. A questionnaire was used with IT teachers to investigate the language and blended learning context. This was followed up with qualitative research in the form of interviews aimed at provincial and national experts in terms of the subject IT and e-learning. Based on the literature and these two investigations, a conceptual model was developed. The conceptual model’s effectiveness was tested through a quasi-experimental study. A questionnaire was also completed by the respondents at the schools after the completion of the study. Through the testing of the effectiveness of the conceptual model it was found that multilingualism could successfully be accommodated and promoted through this conceptual model.

Previous issue date: 2010-04-09 / This work focuses on two aspects: the integration of a set of digital libraries, repositories
and other data providers through the OAI-PMH protocol (Open Archives
Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) and contextualized documents retrieval in
this integrated repository. It is proposed the use of ontologies and content analysis of
articles in wiki environments in the context definition.
The interest in ontologies is in its use as artifacts of specification domain. An ontology is
a data model that represents a set of concepts and their relationships within a domain of
knowledge.
A wiki is a collaborative environment, containing a collection of items connected by
hyperlinks, which can be edited collectively by using a web browser. In this work, the
wiki environments are used as an auxiliary repository of knowledge to the extraction of
relevant terms. Thus, several concepts and relationships that may not be present in the
ontology that specifies the domain of knowledge (since the construction of ontologies is
a complex process) can be identified.
The result of the developed tool processing is a ranking of documents ordered by a higher
degree of importance with respect to the query provided by a user and a particular domain
of knowledge, which is specified by an ontology. / Este trabalho aborda duas vertentes: a integração de um conjunto de bibliotecas
digitais, repositórios e outros provedores de dados por meio do protocolo
OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) e a recuperação
contextualizada de documentos neste repositório integrado. Propõe-se a definição dos
contextos utilizando ontologias e a análise do conteúdo de artigos de ambientes wiki.
O interesse em ontologias está no seu uso como artefatos de especificação de domínios.
Uma ontologia é um modelo de dados que representa um conjunto de conceitos e seus
relacionamentos, dentro de um domínio de conhecimento.
Um wiki é um ambiente colaborativo, que contêm uma coleção de artigos conectados
através de hiperlinks, que podem ser editados coletivamente, através da utilização de um
navegador web. Neste trabalho, os ambientes wiki são utilizados como um repositório
de conhecimento auxiliar, para a extração de termos relevantes. Dessa forma, diversos
conceitos e relacionamentos que podem não estar presentes na ontologia que especifica
o domínio de conhecimento (uma vez que a construção de ontologias é um processo
complexo) podem ser identificados.
O resultado do processamento da ferramenta desenvolvida é um ranking de documentos
ordenado por maior grau de relevância com relação à consulta fornecida por um usuário
e a um determinado domínio de conhecimento, que é especificado por uma ontologia.

Social Software-Technologien finden immer stärker Einzug in den Intranets der Unternehmen. Insbesondere der Einsatz von Enterprise Wikis hat sich durchgesetzt. In diesem Paper wird untersucht, auf welche Art und Weise Enterprise Wikis eingesetzt werden können. Hierfür wird mittels der Grounded Theory-Methodik eine Untersuchung des Enterprise Wikis „TeamWeb“ der T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH durchgeführt.
Auf Basis einer Analyse der TeamWeb-Spaces wird eine Einsatzszenarien-Typologie konstruiert, welche die Typen „Bereichspräsentation und -kommunikation“, „Nachschlagen und Lernen“, „Projekt- und Bereichsorganisation“ und „Kollaborative Konzeption“ unterscheidet.
Im Anschluss wurde die der Nutzung zugrundeliegende Motivation mit Hilfe von semi-strukturierten Gesprächen mit den Wiki-Nutzern weiterführend untersucht. Hierbei wurde festgestellt, dass die Nutzungsmotive ausschließlich egoistischer Natur sind. Diese Erkenntnis wird im Paper zu einer allgemeinen Theorie zur Nutzungsmotivation in Enterprise Wikis ausgebaut.:1. Einleitung
