Personliga amatörfilmer och hemmafilmer används allt mer av bland annatvarumärkesjättar i sin marknadsföring. Estetiken i amatörfilmerna går totalt emot detekniska aspekterna i professionell film där bland annat kvaliteten är mycket lägre iamatörfilm. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka dels vad amatörfilmerna har förkommunikativa egenskaper utifrån valda reklamfilmer men också egenskaper imarknadsföringssyfte i stort. Trots att amatörfilmer och hemmafilmer har en estetiksom inte ses som professionell inom bildproduktion, finns det ett innehåll i dessasekvenser som ännu inte har framhävts i övertygande reklamfilm/informationsfilm.Studiens resultat visar exempelvis att bland annat den låga kvaliteten ochperspektivet från den som filmar, visar en djupare och mer verklig inblick i filmenskaraktärer. Amatörfilmerna ger med andra ord en personlig synvinkel påsammanhanget, vilket är ett användbart verktyg för avsändaren att kommunicera påsamma nivå som mottagaren.

<p>The aim with this archive guide is to give a guide to Karl-Anders Wollter’s film collection at Grängesberg Film archive. Karl-Anders Wollter worked between 1962–1993 for the State Department and mainly outside Sweden. The film collection consists of 67 films regarding his work, holidays and family life. In his work as a diplomat Wollter visited a lot of different places around the world, but he also travelled and made some trips with hisfamily. The collection also consists of footage from state visits, installations, negotiations in conflicts and inter-national conferences with politicians. Altogether the film collection gives not only a good view of how the life as a diplomat might be, but also of the development of the society and footage over villages and minor villages both in Sweden and other countries. This archive guide could thus serve as a guide both to those who are interested in the life as a diplomat, politic – and civic life and for those who are interested in cities and minor village’s devel-opment over time. This archive guide can also serve as a guide for those who are looking for film footage for various documentaries.</p>

Amatörfilmandet har med digital teknik fått en explosionsartad utvecklig och ett offentligt rum genom internet. Om amatörfilmer i hem, home movies, främst skapades av familjefadern, så har ny teknik gett upphov till nya grupper av filmskapare då många är unga kvinnor eller barn. Ny teknik har också bidragit till uppluckrade gränser mellan det offentliga och privata samt fört amatörfilmaren närmare den professionella filmskaparen. På YouTube har ett nytt filmyrke vuxit fram, en YouTuber eller vloggare som producerar digitala filmer, även kallade videor eller vloggar. Denna uppsats undersöker ett antal populära vloggar i Sverige på YouTube och sätter dessa i ett filmhistoriskt sammanhang samt visar hur dessa uttryck kan utmana ett mer traditionellt filmskapande.
