O transporte urbano de cargas tem importÃncia fundamental dentro do processo de urbanizaÃÃo, o qual requer um modo de transportar seus bens e mercadorias. Entretanto, esse deslocamento, em uma percepÃÃo geral, contribui, de forma significativa, para problemas de congestionamento, poluiÃÃo, ruÃdo, dentre outros. Esta dissertaÃÃo tem por objetivo avaliar o impacto do uso de um VeÃculo Urbano de Cargas (VUC) sobre a operaÃÃo do trÃfego em Ãrea urbana, fazendo uso de uma ferramenta de microssimulaÃÃo de trÃfego, atravÃs da elaboraÃÃo e comparaÃÃo de cenÃrios propostos, tomando por base a Ãrea central do municÃpio de Fortaleza. O modelo inicial utilizou parÃmetros calibrados de um estudo em ambiente rodoviÃrio e foram criados trÃs cenÃrios alternativos que permitiram a anÃlise dos impactos do VUC na Ãrea estudada. Os resultados obtidos na simulaÃÃo apontam que a adoÃÃo de um VUC nÃo contribui de forma significativa na reduÃÃo do atraso e dos tempos de viagem, entretanto, apresenta melhoras quando associada à proibiÃÃo de estacionamento em via pÃblica. / Urban transport cargo is paramount within the urbanization process, which requires a way to transport their goods and merchandise. However, this displacement in a general sense, contributes significantly to problems of congestion, pollution, noise, among others. This paper aims to assess the impact of using a vehicle on Urban Freight traffic operation in an urban area, making use of a microsimulation tool traffic through the development and comparison of proposed scenarios, based on the central area the city of Fortaleza. The initial model used calibrated parameters of a study on road environment and three alternative scenarios were created that allowed the analysis of the impacts of VUC in the study area. The simulation results indicate that the adoption of a VUC not show performance gains in traffic, however, shows improvement when combined with prohibition of parking on public roads.

Como solução, as empresas de gerenciamento de risco surgiram no mercado no intuito de reduzir os custos das seguradoras através da prevenção de roubos e acidentes. No entanto, essas empresas que trabalham com operações complexas e grandes quantidades de dados têm apresentado reincidência de falhas operacionais ocasionadas pela sobrecarga de trabalho manual exigida dos operadores que monitoram os veículos e cargas. Essas falhas geram prejuízos que chegam a desestabilizar esse modelo de negócio. O projeto Unicomm analisou o ambiente de trabalho de uma empresa de gerenciamento de risco e, através do mapeamento dos processos e da representação do conhecimento, informatizou processos e automatizou ações humanas, por meio de um sistema de produção e uso de raciocínio baseado em regras. Os resultados observados mostram que a capacidade de automatização das atividades operacionais dessas empresas pode dar suporte ao refatoramento do modelo de trabalho e ganhos financeiros representativos. / The high rate of theft of cargo and vehicles and accidents on Brazilian highways has made the insurance negotiation increasingly less advantageous for insurers, many coming time to derail this type of business, common to many types of goods. As a solution, the risk management companies appeared on the market in order to reduce the cost of insurance by preventing theft and accidents. However, these companies working with complex operations and large amounts of data have shown recurrence of operational failures caused by manual workload required to operators who monitor the vehicles and cargos. These failures generate losses coming to destabilize this business model. The Unicomm project analyzed the risk management company work environment and, through the mapping of processes and knowledge representation, computerized automated processes and human actions, implementing a production system with rule-based reasoning. Our results show that the automation capability of the operational activities of these businesses can support the refactoring job template and representative financial gains.

The import customs clearance is to examine the transparency of the data declared by the importer in relation to imported goods, thus completing customs clearance. Thus, for the goods to be shipped and delivered to your legal representative, it is necessary that the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero) perform a filter of imported goods which are packaged in packaging and timber supports and make the separation of the same in an area called ARM 5F (Warehouse for convicted wood), for the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) start their supervision, using this two forms filled out manually on site by fiscal MAPA, which are the form XIX (Application for Inspection of Packaging wood brackets) and Form XII (Occurrence Term). In this scenario, the use of modern technology such as mobile applications (APP) arise as a way to provide the user, convenience, mobility and functionality during the inspection process. This paper proposed the development of an APP entitled Libera already that could be used to replace the two main forms cited. The APP development phase and layout was made with the participation of a tax MAPA, and from these definitions, the features of APP were built to take on the screens all participating items in the forms. The product built in this work differs from commercial products, because it took into account the activity end of the MAP, the inspection of goods, in this case, it is only, those packed in containers and wooden supports. The approach described in this paper aims to offer the MAP a more flexible and automated surveillance operation, using the APP Libera Already, bringing the process speed in analysis and release of goods. / Usuários do transporte aéreo, particularmente as empresas que fazem parte do PIM (Pólo Industrial de Manaus), têm passado por um processo de despacho aduaneiro em suas mercadorias importadas não muito otimizado, quando estas estão acondicionadas em embalagens e suportes de madeira. O despacho aduaneiro de importação consiste em examinar a transparência dos dados declarados pelo importador em relação à mercadoria importada, para assim concluir seu desembaraço aduaneiro. Dessa forma, para que a mercadoria seja despachada e entregue ao seu representante legal, é necessário que a Empresa Brasileira de Infraestrutura Aeroportuária (INFRAERO) realize um filtro das mercadorias importadas que estão acondicionadas em embalagens e suportes de madeira, e faça a separação das mesmas, em uma área chamada ARM 5F (Armazém para madeira condenada), para que o Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (MAPA) inicie sua fiscalização, utilizando para isto, dois formulários preenchidos manualmente in loco pelo fiscal do MAPA, que são o Formulário XIX (Requerimento para Fiscalização de Embalagens e Suportes de Madeira) e o Formulário XII (Termo de Ocorrência). Diante desse cenário, o uso de tecnologias modernas como os aplicativos mobile (APP) surgem como uma forma de proporcionar ao usuário, praticidade, mobilidade e funcionalidade durante o processo de fiscalização. Este trabalho propôs o desenvolvimento de um APP intitulado Libera Já, que pudesse ser utilizado para substituir os dois principais formulários citados. A fase de desenvolvimento do APP e layout foi realizada com a participação de um fiscal do MAPA, e, a partir dessas definições, as funcionalidades do APP foram construídas de modo a ter nas telas todos os itens participantes dos formulários. O produto construído neste trabalho se diferencia de produtos comerciais, pois levou-se em consideração a atividade fim do MAPA, a fiscalização de mercadorias, que neste caso, trata-se somente, daquelas acondicionadas em embalagens e suportes de madeira. A abordagem descrita neste trabalho, visa oferecer ao MAPA uma operação de fiscalização mais flexível e automatizada, com o uso do APP Libera Já, trazendo ao processo agilidade na análise e liberação das mercadorias.

Although the literature shows these criteria as relevant in airport choice, note a lack of studies relating time and cost as criteria in the choice of cargo airports. In this sense, this study makes an analysis of the process of choosing airports for export of mango, identifying the criteria used, as well as the relationship between the criteria and the impact of the decision based on the prioritization of one criterion over the other. For this, through the AHP – Analytic Hierarchy Process method, indicators related to time and cost were compared, from interviews, performed with Brazilian mango exporters. From the selection criterion pointed out by exporters of mango, was simulated the choice between Brazilian airports most used for export the fruit in recent years. The results show that the prioritization of choice by the time, commonly used as a reference, can result in loss of road freight, increasing a 23% the costs with access to the airport terminal. In this sense, future studies can be conducted with the purpose to verify the relation between cost and time, in the decisions of choice between cargo airports involving nonperishable products. / O tempo e o custo são alguns dos critérios envolvidos nas tomadas de decisões relacionadas ao transporte. Embora a literatura apresente esses critérios como relevantes na escolha de utilização de determinado aeroporto, nota-se carência de estudos relacionando tempo e custo como critérios de seleção entre aeroportos de cargas. Diante do exposto, esse estudo busca analisar o processo de escolha entre aeroportos para exportação de manga, identificando os critérios utilizados, bem como a relação entre eles e o impacto da decisão baseada na priorização de um critério sobre o outro. Assim, através do método Analytic Hierarchy Process – AHP, foram comparados indicadores relacionados ao tempo e ao custo, a partir de entrevistas realizadas com exportadores brasileiros de manga. Com o critério de seleção apontado pelos exportadores de mangas, foi simulado a escolha entre os três aeroportos brasileiros que mais embarcaram a fruta para exportação nos últimos anos. Os resultados mostram que a escolha priorizando o tempo, comumente utilizada como referência, pode resultar em perda de frete rodoviário, acarretando um aumento de até 23% nos custos com acesso ao terminal aeroportuário. Nesse sentido, estudos futuros podem ser conduzidos com o intuito de verificar a relação entre custo e tempo, nas decisões de escolha entre aeroportos de cargas envolvendo produtos não perecíveis.

This thesis deals with innovations in freight transport, especially from the perspective of information and communication technologies. It identifies key strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats in an implementation of innovations. Its main contribution is the linking of current informatics trends with specific trends of the rail freight sector in the Czech Republic in relation to the regulation and harmonization of the European Union. One of the important objectives of today's enterprise informatics is support of the strategic management. Based on the test the validity of the working hypothesis, according to which companies in the rail freight don't use strategic management tools enough, it makes recommendations for innovation in the sector. The thesis also briefly presents some innovative applications of Czech IT developers. It is a comprehensive material from which the Chief information officer (CIO) can get basic orientation in the rail freight sector. It may also serve as an inspiration for companies that want to enter the market, or are already operating on it and want to achieve competitive advantage through innovation.

Dissertation thesis Air Cargo HUBs and Corridors deals with air cargo transport and HUB and Spoke technology and it is focused on Václav Havel Airport Prague. The purpose of this disseration thesis is to present air cargo transport with all its specifics, to explain application of HUB and Spoke technology in air cargo transport and location of the most important air cargo HUBs. This thesis searches for an answer to a question whether Václav Havel Airport Prague can be considered an air cargo HUB. To meet the target methods of research, analysis, description and comparasion were used. On the basis of assessment of current situation, nowadyas it is not possible to consider Václav Havel Airport Prague an air cargo HUB. An entrance of a new air cargo carrier, a reinforcement of current connections and the construction of parallel runway indicate an increase in transported air cargo, depending on positive economic development.

This thesis deals with the effect of system of financial reporting on financial performance of business corporation. Czech accounting regulations and International financial reporting standards are compared within the framework of system of financial reporting. The effect on financial performance is then analysed through financial analysis. In theoretical-methodological part the terminology, approaches and methods used in individual systems are defined and then comparative analysis is performed. Theoretical definition of financial analysis follows and then basic information about business corporation is mentioned, which begins the practical part. Then financial analysis of the firm is performed whereas data are analysed separately for every system. The purpose of this thesis is to point out different values of indicators of financial analysis coming from differences of analysed systems of financial reporting through concrete business corporation and to explain their cause.

The introductory part of this thesis focuses on the detailed characteristics of the Danube region, on the Danube itself as well as on the ongoing international cooperation of involved Danubian countries. Next section contains a comprehensive analysis of the cargo inland waterway transport on the Danube in Austria with respect to historical development, present state of commodity transportation as well as with respect to facilities and performance of Austrian ports and accessibility of the Danube for cargo river ships during the year. The final part of this thesis deals with current problems of cargo river carriers on the Austrian part of the Danube and there are possible solutions to these problems as well. Attention is also paid to the importance of cargo inland waterway transport for the whole country.

This thesis deals with an approach to monitor the integrity and composition of cargo wagons withthe help of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). The WSN is to be fully automated that does notneed any human intervention for gathering information about the composition and integrity ofcargo trains, which are the most necessary factors for Cargo Logistics. The nodes are deployed inevery wagon along with the master node in the main locomotive. The master node in thelocomotive gets the information from the slave nodes placed in the cargo wagons in successivesessions. If there are any unexpected changes in the composition of the wagon, theacknowledgments to the locomotive will be terminated. This approach mainly focuses ondesigning energy-efficient as well as cost-efficient WSN. The designed WSN can accommodateto changes, which are caused by external conditions. The designed approach is also scalable. TheWSN is designed with the usage of Zigbee mesh protocol with Arduino Microcontroller as thebrain of the system that is validated and verified in the indoor, imitating the railway environment.
