O aprofundamento teórico e metodológico, bem como o estudo de uma realidade determinada, mostram-se neste momento através da análise do espaço geográfico a partir de um objeto de estudo as cooperativas de catadores e seu objeto de troca: os materiais recicláveis. A reprodução da vida de milhares de pessoas depende de um mercado que incluí circuitos econômicos de uma mercadoria, que para muitos é considerada lixo, mas que para outros tantos é objeto de troca. Para tanto, é necessária a análise espacial, social e econômica do mercado de materiais recicláveis, mais precisamente de empreendimentos pautados pela economia solidária, como são as cooperativas de catadores de materiais recicláveis. Esse trabalho também discute a viabilidade e a possibilidade de emancipação destes empreendimentos. / This dissertation discusses the reproduction of the social relationships through the essentially urban activity made by recycled materials catchers. As the theoretical and methodological deepening as the study of a determined reality are shown at this time through the analysis of the geographical space starting from a object of study - the cooperatives of catchers and their exchange object: the recycled materials. Thousands of people reproduction depends on this market that includs economic circuits of a product that some people consider garbage, but that is exchange object for so many other people. So, it is necessary the space, social and economic analysis of the recycled materials market, spetially by the solidary economy enterprises, as the recycled materials catchers cooperatives. That work also discusses the viability and the possibility of these enterprises emancipation.

The main purpose of this paper is to think about education starting with social practice, for it, adapt oneself to the problems with an experience that comes from the garbage catchers that work at waste dump in the city of Santa Maria/RS. The fighting story of this group of recycled materials catchers by building of storehouse can be or not be pedagogy. Then, with the aim of thinking education through this context was put the narrative of this motion being by-path languages the way of thinking the social practice like a kind of pedagogy that there might be in the building of this place. The central problem of this work is to try to think about education starting by the world of the life, whose dilemmas we invent through our pedagogy. The proposition of this dissertation is divided in three chapters: 1) At garbage school: learning to scream; 2) Pedagogy of storehouse: The scream; 3) Weaving mornings: From robbery to scream practice. Besides of the chapters this edition has three interludes: 1) Nihilism/wish potency; 2) Fold/ artistic wish; 3) Making concepts inventing reason. Like show/invitation to chapters and interludes it has got a prologue and finale considerations with the titles: Seven symptons for a Prologue and Epilogue: Learning to carry water in sieve / O presente projeto Pedagogia do Galpão Prática Social como Prática Pedagógica - tem como objetivo principal pensar a educação a partir dos processos e práticas sociais, para isso, ambientaliza suas problematizações junto a uma experiência com trabalhadores do lixão da cidade de Santa Maria/RS. Daí, que a história de luta deste grupo de catadores de materiais recicláveis pela/na construção de um galpão de triagem e reciclagem de lixo se traduz ou não em pedagogia. Com o intuito de pensar a educação por entre este contexto, foi trançado neste trabalho as narrativas deste movimento, sendo nas veredas de linguagem colocadas um meio de pensar a prática social como prática pedagógica. Uma espécie de pedagogia que pode haver no movimento pela construção do galpão. Possuindo como problema central o esforço de pensar educação partindo do mundo da vida, pela qual, por seus dilemas vamos inventando por onde pedagogizarmo-nos. A proposta dissertativa está dividida em três capítulos: 1) Na escola do lixo: Aprendendo a gritar; 2) Pedagogia do Galpão: O grito; 3) Tecendo manhãs: do roubo a prática do grito. Além dos capítulos consta nesta dissertação três Interlúdios: 1) Niilismo/Vontade Potência; 2) Dobra/Querer Artista; 3) Fabricando Conceitos Inventando Razão. No aporte teórico que utiliza, a cidade de Vitória (ES) não aparece como um fundo de tela pouco significativo, comum a qualquer outra, ao contrario, mostra-se como parte das microguerrilhas cotidianas travadas pelos catadores(as) de materiais recicláveis que povoam seus nichos e lugares. Esses homens e mulheres são personagens que vagam pela superfície urbana, se detendo a todo instante para separar, recolher e reunir tudo aquilo que a cidade desprezou e jogou fora como lixo. Com seus passos zigue-zagueantes, são conduzidos não apenas pela necessidade de sobrevivência, mas também pelo desejo de não deixar esses restos se perderem. Desenham, assim, territórios subjetivos, sinalizados por marcos que se desmancham e se deslocam com o trajeto. Na produção dos dados da pesquisa busca o olhar que rastreia as tramas micropolíticas, que pousa sem pressa nas imagens do comezinho, do não memorável; as palavras e o ritmo dos discursos miúdos; o arrepio da pele diante do silêncio do indizível. As narrativas que emergem dessas expedições aventurosas não compõem paisagens tranquilas, lineares, que assinalam a existência de espaços harmônicos e isentos de conflitualidade, longe disso, mostram territórios polissêmicos, plurais, que, mesmo agregados de conflitos e tensões, não deixam de exercitar a experiência de aceitação do outro na sua feiura, no seu corpo sujo e destroçado, na sua vida despudorada e imp(r)udente. São narrativas que afirmam a vida urbana como ela é: alegre, triste, aberta, soturna, efêmera e instável / Result of a research Master Thesis, this work seeks to penetrate the interstices of urban surfaces and how to scrutinize the people that experience the city. In the theoretical approach, the city does not appear as a non significance background, on the contrary, it is shown as part of the daily intrigue and small guerrillas woven by recyclable materials catchers that populate their niches and their places. These men and women are characters that cross the urban area, restraining all the time to separate, collect and gather all that the city scorned and rejected as garbage. With sinuous steps, they are lead not only by need for survival, but also by the desire to prevent these remains to become lost. Thus, subjective territories are drawn, marked by limits that fall apart and moves with the path. In an attempt to investigate these wandering stocks, this paper searches the look that tracks micro-politics that unfold on the surface of the town, which perches without rush in the images of ordinary, non memorable, to listen to words and rhythms of tine speeches; skin shiver against the silence of the unspeakable. The narratives emerging from these expeditions do not compose tranquil and linear landscapes, marking the existence of harmonic and free of conflict spaces. Far from it, show plural places, that even full of conflicts and tensions, do not fail to exercise the experience acceptance of others in their ugliness, in their broken and dirty body, shameless in their reckless life. In their temporal pulse, the inhabitants of these spaces reveal plots that affirm the urban life as it is: happy, sad, available, sullen, ephemeral and unstable

Design is about understanding a space. It is about integration of light and air in building design. It is about light, shadow, reflection. It is about wind, its movement and escape. Through designing this project I was able to explore how sun, wind and light can be used effectively in a building design, in my project, in an office environment. The fire, the Light; the energy is the inspiration behind the origin of Architecture. Energy brings architecture into the world of processes and life and Architecture brings together Fire and Shelter, Chaos and Organization. Day lighting or the use of natural light in a building is one of the fundamental elements used to bring an essential experience of visual comfort and outside world environmental stimulation for all building occupants. The History of Architecture, said Le Corbusier, is a history of the struggle for light, the struggle for the window. This thesis assembles the research, conceptualization and final development of the office building design with an integration of light and wind. / Master of Architecture

A partir de uma investigação empírica, esta pesquisa apresenta dados referentes à formação e atuação da Associação de Recicladores e Catadores de Esteio, a ARCA. Além disso, considerações sobre um processo de educação informal que se institui, inclusão social, relações humanas e trajetórias de vida até à ARCA reúnem-se neste trabalho. Outrossim, apontamentos sobre a problemática de consumo e de resíduos sólidos no planeta, tentam contextualizar a participação especial dos sujeitos naquilo que encaminha para a ruptura de paradigmas ambientalmente destrutivos. Também são descritos aspectos referentes à religiosidade, as relações de gênero, a família e afetos como forma de chamamento reflexivo sobre aquilo que se categoriza por cultural e/ou humano. / From an empirical inquiry, this research presents some information referring to the formation and performance of people, which their job is recycle and catch things, that is, garbage. They are from Esteio, the ARCA. Moreover, considerations about an informal education process which establishes itself, social inclusion, human relations and the history of lives till the ARCA are in this paper. In the same way, registers on a problematical related to the consumption and solids remains in the planet, try contextualize the especial participation of the guys that are being driven to the broken of paradigms environmentally baneful. What is more, are mentioned aspects related to religious, acquaintance of gender, the family and affects as a reflected whoop on what’s being characterized by human and or cultural.

A atividade da catação de materiais é estudada dentro do cenário atual de desestruturação dos postos de trabalho formais e em uma cidade que há muitos anos apresenta uma economia estagnada, não dando oportunidades de emprego, em especial, para as camadas dos trabalhadores não especializados, caso da maioria dos catadores. Assim, com o aumento da demanda de materiais recicláveis, o que não escapa à lógica de desperdício produtivo, são estudadas as formas de subordinação e trabalho na catação local, quais os vínculos com os atravessadores de materiais, as condições de trabalho e a estrutura local da reciclagem.

The general purpose was to analyze the MNCR, into this decade of existence and action, addressing to its internal organization, external relationships, struggles, limits, and challenges. The subjects of the research were seven people at the front of both national and state board of MNCR and the associations and cooperatives of recyclable materials. Research was conducted by the following question: What is the importance the National Movement of Catchers of Recyclable Material (MNCR)? Conceptual references of the research were: globalization, in Boaventura Santos and Octavio Ianni, work, in Ricardo Antunes and Márcio Pochmann, social movements, in Maria da Glória Gohn and Evelina Dagnino, social policies, in Evaldo Amaro Vieira, Maria Carmelita Yazbek, Ivanete Boschetti and Elaine Rossetti Behring, democratization, em Francisco .C. Weffort and Maria Victória de Mesquita Benevides, all of them conemporary authors in the areas of Social Sciences and Social Work. Methodology used was qualitative survey, being the data collection as an instrument the semistructured interview, based on a scipt. Bibliographical research, survey based on documents and participating observation of the researcher were made too. To interpret data, it was made the following contents analysis. Results of the survey have specially revealed, that what MNCR, after these ten years of existence, was configured as a collective and politic subject, increasingly making, with advancements and challnges, the social inclusion of catchers into social policies, into the productive chain and into international relationships with other organization of catchers / A presente dissertação de mestrado tem por objeto o estudo do Movimento Nacional dos Catadores de Materiais Recicláveis: um movimento em construção - 1999/2009. O objetivo geral visou analisar o MNCR, nessa década de existência e ação, abordando sua organização interna, relações externas, lutas, limites e desafios. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram sete lideranças da direção nacional e estadual do MNCR e das associações e cooperativas de materiais recicláveis. A pesquisa foi orientada pela pergunta norteadora: Qual a importância do Movimento Nacional dos Catadores de Materiais Recicláveis e suas repercussões? As referências conceituais da pesquisa foram:: globalização, em Boaventura Santos e Octavio Ianni, trabalho, em Ricardo Antunes e Márcio Pochmann, movimentos sociais, em Maria da Glória Gohn e Evelina Dagnino, políticas sociais, em Evaldo Amaro Vieira, Maria Carmelita Yazbek, Ivanete Boschetti e Elaine Rossetti Behring, democratização, em Francisco .C. Weffort e Maria Victória de Mesquita Benevides, autores contemporâneos das Ciências Sociais e do Serviço Social. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa qualitativa, tendo a coleta de dados como instrumento a entrevista semi-estruturada, com base em roteiro. Foram realizadas também pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e observação participante da pesquisadora. Para a interpretação dos dados foi adotada a análise de conteúdo.
