La trace en géométrie projective et torique.

Weimann, Martin 20 June 2006 (has links) (PDF)

Liang, Yongqi 04 October 2011 (has links) (PDF)

Avaliação quantitativa e qualitativa das alterações no tecido esplênico de camundongos esquistossomóticos e dislipidêmicos / Quantitative and qualitative assessment of changes in splenic tissue of mice with schistossomiasis and dyslipidemic

Adriana Matias da Silva 27 April 2012 (has links)

From Flag Manifolds to Severi-Brauer Varieties: Intersection Theory, Algebraic Cycles and Motives

Kioulos, Charalambos 09 July 2020 (has links)
The study of algebraic varieties originates from the study of smooth manifolds. One of the focal points is the theory of differential forms and de Rham cohomology. It’s algebraic counterparts are given by algebraic cycles and Chow groups. Linearizing and taking the pseudo-abelian envelope of the category of smooth projective varieties, one obtains the category of pure motives. In this thesis, we concentrate on studying the pure Chow motives of Severi-Brauer varieties. This has been a subject of intensive investigation for the past twenty years, with major contributions done by Karpenko, [Kar1], [Kar2], [Kar3], [Kar4]; Panin, [Pan1], [Pan2]; Brosnan, [Bro1], [Bro2]; Chernousov, Merkurjev, [Che1], [Che2]; Petrov, Semenov, Zainoulline, [Pet]; Calmès, [Cal]; Nikolenko, [Nik]; Nenashev, [Nen]; Smirnov, [Smi]; Auel, [Aue]; Krashen, [Kra]; and others. The main theorem of the thesis, presented in sections 4.3 and 4.4, extends the result of Zainoulline et al. in the paper [Cal] by providing new examples of motivic decompositions of generalized Severi-Brauer varieties.

D. thesis studies the arithmetic properties (the Hasse principle, the weak approximation, and the Brauer-Manin obstruction) for zero-cycles on algebraic varieties defined over number fields. We introduce the notion of generalized Hilbertian subset. By using the fibration method, we prove that the Brauer-Manin obstruction is the only obstruction tothe Hasse principle and to the weak approximation for zero-cycles of degree 1; and establish the exactness of a sequence of global-local type concerning Chow groups of zero-cycles, for certain varieties which admit a fibration structure overa smooth curve or over the projective space, where the arithmetic hypotheses are only posed on the fibers over a generalized Hilbertian subset. Moreover, we relate the arithmetic of rational points and that of zero-cycles of degree 1 on geometrically rationally connected varieties. As an application, we find that the Brauer-Manin obstruction is the only obstruction to the Hasse principle and to the weak approximation for zero-cycles of degree 1 on- homogeneous spaces of a linear algebraic group with connected stabilizer,- certain varieties fibered into Chatelet surfaces over a smooth curve or over the projective space (in particular, Poonen's threefolds).

Quelques aspects sur l'homologie de Borel-Moore dans le cadre de l'homotopie motivique : poids et G-théorie de Quillen / On some aspects of Borel-Moore homology in motivic homotopy : weight and Quillen’s G-theory

Jin, Fangzhou 12 December 2016 (has links)
The theme of this thesis is different aspects of Borel-Moore theory in the world of motives. Classically, over the field of complex numbers, Borel-Moore homology, also called “homology with compact support”, has some properties quite different from singular homology. In this thesis we study some generalizations and applications of this theory in triangulated categories of motives. The thesis is composed of two parts. In the first part we define Borel-Moore motivic homology in the triangulated categories of mixed motives defined by Cisinski and Déglise and study its various functorial properties, especially a functoriality similar to the refined Gysin morphism defined by Fulton. These results are then used to identify the heart of the Chow weight structure defined by Hébert and Bondarko: it turns out that the heart, namely the category of elements of weight zero, is equivalent to a relative version of pure Chow motives over a base defined by Corti and Hanamura. In the second part we show the representability of Quillen’s G-theory, reformulated by Thomason, firstly in the A1-homotopy category of schemes of Morel-Voevodsky, but also in the stable homotopy category constructed by Jardine. We establish an identification of G-theory as the Borel-Moore theory associated to algebraic K-theory, by using the six functors formalism settled by Ayoub and Cisinski-Déglise.

Unknown Date (has links)
According to some literature, there is a nonlinear relationship between the land area and the land value. Land value will enhance with an increasing pace as land area increase in the beginning. However, as land area keeps increasing, the land value will only enhance with a decreasing pace. Namely, the plattage phenomenon will follow the plottage phenomenon. Bases on the land transaction samples from Tainan city and the model with total price as dependent variable, this research searches the structural change of the land area using Chow Test sequence to analyze whether there is significant distinction in economic structure. The empirical results show the plattage phenomenon coexists with the plottage phenomenon.

Hong Kong cinema 1982-2002 : the quest for identity during transition

Cheung, Wai Yee Ruby January 2008 (has links)
This thesis seeks to interpret the cinematic representations of Hong Kongers’ identity quest during a transitional state/stage related to the sovereignty transfer. The Handover transition considered is an ideological one, rather than the overnight polity change on the Handover day. This research approaches contemporary Hong Kong cinema on two fronts and the thesis is structured accordingly: Upon an initial review of the existing Hong Kong film scholarship in the Introduction, and its 1997-related allegorical readings, Part I sees new angles (previously undeveloped or underdeveloped) for researching Hong Kong films made during 1982-2002. Arguments are built along the ideas of Hong Kongers’ situational, diasporic consciousness, and transformed ‘Chineseness’ because Hong Kong has lacked a cultural/national centrality. This part of research is informed by the ideas of Jacques Derrida, Homi Bhabha and Stuart Hall, and the diasporic experiences of Ien Ang, Rey Chow and Ackbar Abbas. With these new research angles and references to the circumstances, Part II reads critically the text of eight Hong Kong films made during the Handover transition. In chronological order, they are Boat People (Hui, 1982), Song of the Exile (Hui, 1990), Days of Being Wild (Wong, 1990), Happy Together (Wong, 1997), Made in Hong Kong (Chan, 1997), Ordinary Heroes (Hui, 1999), Durian Durian (Chan, 2000), and Hollywood Hong Kong (Chan, 2002). They meet several criteria related to the undeveloped / underdeveloped areas in the existing Hong Kong film scholarship. Hamid Naficy’s ‘accented cinema’ paradigm gives the guidelines to the film analysis in Part II. This part shows that Hong Kongers’ self-transformation during transition is alterable, indeterminate, and interminable, due to the people’s situational, diasporic consciousness, and transformed ‘Chineseness’. This thesis thus contributes to Hong Kong cinema scholarship in interpreting films with new research angles, and generating new insights into this cinematic tradition and its wider context.
