conceitos para compreender o uso do serviço. Entretanto,
Tecnologia (TAM) e a Teoria do Comportamento Planejado
(TPB).
do m-commerce.

Model for facilities location in a global scale considering several echelons in the supply chain.Ricardo Hamad 12 April 2006 (has links)
The location of factories, suppliers and distribution centers has always been a problem of great complexity, mainly for companies with global operations. In the literature, there are a few models developed for facilities location in a global scale. This work proposes a Mixed Integer Linear Programming model that solves the problem minimizing the total logistic cost (fixed, transfer and distribution costs, non recoverable duties, carrying, take-or-pay, raw material, added value and handling costs) taking into consideration several echelons in the supply chain network. The main contributions of the proposed model are the considerations regarding fiscal benefits in international trade such as drawback, the pioneer carrying cost calculation and the treatment given to the take-or-pay costs. Some adaptations of the model have been suggested for use in any type of industry. The model was successfully applied in a real case of a chemical industry.

Identifying Key Success Factors for the Implementation of Enterprise Content Management SystemsHorne, Stephanie Burnett 08 1900 (has links)
Enterprise content management (ECM) is an emerging research area that is beginning to find attention in academia. While the private sector has a growing industry and community for ECM, academia is starting to address this with direct links to the better-established areas of information systems and enterprise resource planning systems. ECM has been viewed as a higher-level concept of methods and strategies pertaining to content management in the context of the enterprise. Like many other organizational wide systems, ECM systems are complex, difficult to implement and risk failing to meet expected success measures. Definitions for what exactly constitutes an ECM system are still evolving. The major issues with ECM systems are that they are increasingly being implemented by organizations in an attempt to address the unmanageable amount of unstructured content over its lifecycle, compliance pressures, collaboration needs, content integrity and continuity, and controlling costs. However, the implementation problems are many and diverse, such as determining content and business processes to be included, determining technologies to fit the organizational needs, how to integrate with existing systems, and managing organizational culture and change for acceptance. There is currently little academic research in the area of ECM, and research determining the key factors that contribute to successful implementations of these systems is absent. This research addressed the existing gap in ECM research and investigated the key success factors for the implementations of ECM systems with the objectives of identifying a set of success factors. Guided by research in related areas and through developing a theoretical framework and the resulting research model, the study used a qualitative case study method to identify ECM implementation factors and their relationship to organizational culture and people, business processes, technology and organizational content. The results of this research were twofold, first by contributing needed research in the ECM area and second to aid organizations in the implementation of ECM systems by identifying key factors.

Supporting the development of a HMLV production cellMohammadpour, Violet, Häll, Sebastian January 2021 (has links)
Production system development is challenging for manufacturing companies, and development of HMLV production cells entails additional challenges. Thus, the aim of this study is to support the development of a HMLV production cell, and the following research questions were asked: RQ1: What are the challenges of developing a HMLV production cell? RQ2: What are the critical factors to consider when developing a HMLV production cell? RQ3: How can the development of a HMLV production cell be supported? A literature review in combination with a case study were performed to fulfill the aim and answer the research questions. The literature review was conducted to gain knowledge from previous studies, whilst the case study was performed to complement the theoretical findings. The selected case is the development of a HMLV production cell in the department of engine machining at Scania, which is planned to perform production activities for various departments of Scania. The primary data was collected through observations and interviews. The identified challenges of developing a HMLV production cell were production planning, utilization of equipment, product quality and material flow. The identified critical factors to consider when developing a HMLV production cell were production flexibility, production competence, production technology, pilot production, manufacturing strategy, order management system and standardization. The identified challenges of developing a HMLV production cell and the critical factors to consider when developing a HMLV production cell can support manufacturing companies by informing what challenges to expect prior to developing a HMLV production cell, and what critical factors can mitigate these challenges. Two ways of supporting the development of a HMLV production cell are recommended to Scania: creating a structured order management system and performing a pilot production for the milling operation of the core box reparation process. During this study, it was discovered that different HMLV production cells have different capabilities, challenges, and therefore also different critical factors. As such, recommendation for further research is to investigate how the development of different types of HMLV production cells can be supported by using a multiple case study research design, and to compare the challenges and critical factors for the development for the different types of HMLV production cells.

Towards Logistics 5.0: An Approach for Selecting and Integrating Industrial Internet of ThingsHanumantu, Divya January 2024 (has links)
Every manufacturing discipline is evolving rapidly with the emergence of Industry 5.0, which is defined as the incorporation of advanced technologies to enhance sustainability, human imperative, and resilience. Logistic activities inside a manufacturing facility is not an exception for this evolution. Industrial internet of things (IIoT) as a primary enabler for the digital transformation provides the companies with great opportunities. In this context, firms need a guidance for harmonious integration of IIoT technologies into internal logistics. Existed theoretical knowledge has not addressed this issue explicitly. Therefore, the thesis is aimed at exploring the selection and integration of IIoT into internal logistics for a more smart, automated, and connected factory. The purpose of the thesis is achieved by a qualitative case study approach in a large multinational machinery manufacturing company. The study begins with a literature review constructing a theoretical framework to answer the research questions. then, semi structured interviews, document review and observations were employed as data collection methods. Three use cases: sensors for automatic replenishment, pick to light indicators for kitting and automated goods receiving are studied thoroughly for understanding the practical aspects. Thorough analysis of the collected data shows that the challenges being faced are technological, organizational, external, and human related. Also, critical factors which impact the integration of IIoT technologies and must be considered during the process are addressed through the analysis. Connecting these findings together, a roadmap has been created with a detailed explanation of actions to be taken in each step. To the existing theoretical knowledge, this thesis adds the knowledge of human and organizational factors and how to address them through developing a roadmap. Also, this knowledge will guide the companies to better prepare their workforce. Additionally, the roadmap helps the practitioners in strategic decision making and to develop further understanding for practical implementation. Offering insights into the challenges and critical factors this work can guide future research and development in smart logistics systems.
