This is a research dedicated to the use of Digital Technologies (DT) as an educational tool for Geometry teaching and learning. It is justified by the social relevance for educating individuals, because of its comprehensive applicability, as well by its importance highlighted on PCN. In addition, it is substantiated by the difficulties presented by teachers, and due to the large scale results of evaluation that demonstrated that Geometry teaching issue has been left on the side lines. This researched aimed to investigate the integration of DT with the Geometry teaching and learning, focused on the study of flat geometric figures perimeter and area in the Elementary School - final years. In particular, it has been checked that the GeoGebra software usage form can contribute for studying this present subject. The investigation is featured by qualitative research approach divided into three stages 1) theoretical basis approach to substantiate the research; 2) it refers to the diagnosis and scenery characterization of DT usage in the municipal schools from Juiz de Fora (MG), in which questionnaires have been used for three different groups, namely school principals, Elementary School Mathematics teachers – (final years) and 9th grade students, 3) it is the experimentation stage, in which has been carried out a pedagogical sequence of activities embracing the studied theme, supported by the GeoGebra software, 4) last investigation stage, it is about the analysis of the undertaken activities and the research validation .Each one of these stages is backed on the theoretical suppositions of Pedagogical Engineering and the result analysis is founded on the Anthropological Pedagogical Theory. In the end of the research, it was perceived that there are many challenges to be overcome concerning the integration of DT with teaching; however we realized the effectiveness of Geogebra software to maximize the study of the perimeter and area of flat geometrical figures. In this regard, the software was offered as an educational product for activities and guidance for Elementary School teachers - final years related to the activities developed along the study.

Une approche info-communicationnelle du changement organisationnel à l’université : autour des portefeuilles numériques de compétences / An info-communicational approach to the organizational change in the university : around e-portfolios

Trillard, Romain 15 December 2016 (has links)
During this thesis, we are being interested on “eportfolios” and how they embody the organizational rationalization and the new public management policies in the higher education and research sector in France. We have been searching why they got thumbs down. To do that, we have been leaning on an e – portfolio project manager experience, nearly twenty interviews with other project managers, universities managers, staff and academics and a set of documents. This corpus has beencollected in the framework of a Communicational Approach to Organizations. This method leads us to deal with the symbolic dimension of developments, then with the universities reorganizations, and finally with the transformations of presumed practices by the use of technologies such as “e – portfolio”. To be sure to explore all the dimensions of the change, we have developed an approach switching on the running rationalization and the academic culture. This workenabled us to locate the communications going through our corpus. The analysis points out that some sharp symbolic tightness exist, that work conditions change and deteriorate, and that “e-portfolios” are the subject of an empirical and symbolic disconnection.

ARTES VISUAIS E TECNOLOGIAS DIGITAIS NA FORMAÇÃO CONTINUADA DOS PROFISSIONAIS DE ENSINO MÉDIO / VISUAL ARTS AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CONTINUED FORMATION OF THE PROFESSIONALS OF AVERAGE EDUCATION

Sangoi, Tânia Losekann 01 March 2006 (has links)
The present research is part of the line of Research Education and Arts of the Pos Graduation Program in Education. The objective of this study is to reflect Art theory practice, and the Continued Formation of teachers of Secondary School, having present the educative processuality in the teaching of Visual Arts face to Digital Technologies. The interest for the subject appeared through the perception of the inexistence of a work in Art and the Digital Technologies, explicit requirement of the contemporary education. In the search of a better agreement and understanding of the questions that involve the subject, the theoretical basis was marked out with the thought of Pierre Lévy (1993 and 1996), Diana Domingues (2003), Edmond Couchot (1998 and 2003), Luiz Paulo Leopoldo Mercado (1999), Suzete Venturelli (2004), Maria Beatriz de Medeiros (2005), Tânia Esperon Maria Porto (2003), Ana Luiza Ruschel Nunes (2004), Ana Mae Barbosa (2002), Lucimar Bello Frange (2002), Lucia Santaella (2002), and others mentioned in the body of the dissertation. The approach of the research is qualitative through a study of case. The instruments of data collection consisted of questionnaire and half-structuralized intervenes of the participant observation of the daily field, the documentary analysis, the portfolio and the practice of the digital technologies, forming a data set of which significant and rewarding information had emerged. The research was developed at the State School of Basic Education Margarida Lopes , at Gonçalves Ledo street number 565 Camobi Santa Maria/RS . They had been part of the same research, two teachers of Visual Arts, attend in this Light School. The importance of the update of a continuous formation was the object of the investigation with the citizens, therefore as a mediating agent of the contemporary educational process involved in a permanent process of participative investigation, reflexive and contextualized in Art Education. Through the reflection of the teaching of Art and the continued formation, specified in this case by means of digital technologies, it is possible to (re)concept, contextualizing subjects, methods and methodology face educative practices. Being in possession of the collected data we made the analysis with crossing information that made possible beyond some interpretations, mainly the motivation of a reflexive practice and the incorporation of the continued formation process to the Visual Arts teachers. Though out the research we perceived that the Visual Arts knowledge, in the contemporary context in the researched School has been worked by descontextualized form, stagnated in Modern Art. In this way we can infer that the reflections process inexisted by the misinformation of the knout edges of the Art and its history, therefore by the lack of the process of continued formation. The lack of this process and the search of actualization were tenuous occurring in the frequency in no specific courses and some readings. We conclude that the use of digital technology in the teaching of Art didn t happen. We infer that the way for new and possible changes of the teacher s look to their professional performance in the Visual Arts teaching is without doubt the search for continued formation realignmenting to new perspectives face Visual Arts and digital technology. We also infer that Educative Visual Arts practice were permanently developed in the shared process, having present the reflection in the action on the action and on the reflection from the teachers and the School s context giving the visibility to formative process in the perspective of the teaching of contemporary Art plugging to Digital Art and claiming others possibilities of presupposed and a process of creation in the continued formation of teachers.

Use of Digital Technologies in Education : The Complexity of Teachers' Everyday Practice / Användning av Digital Teknik i Skolan : Komplexiteten i Lärares Vardagspraktik

Salavati, Sadaf January 2016 (has links)
In this dissertation the complex, dynamic, contextual and multi-dimensional practice of teachers’ use of digital technologies in their everyday work has been illustrated and presented. The research draws upon the experience of teachers and school leaders from two compulsory schools as well as representatives from the municipal Department of Education and IT-unit within a municipality in the south of Sweden. A focused ethnographic approach has been undertaken and applied observations and interviews. Systems Thinking, specifically Soft Systems Methodology in combination with Cognitive Mapping have been applied to analyze the empirical material. The theoretical foundation builds upon teachers’ worldview towards digital technologies, because it is noted that teachers more easily adopt and use innovations that are in accordance with their personal thoughts and beliefs about teaching and learning. Further, teachers’ attitude and perception towards use of digital technologies are addressed as well as the role of school leadership. Additionally, importance of context, teachers’ knowledge and pedagogics have been discussed referring to various frameworks. The dissertation aims to illuminate the complex nature of teachers’ everyday practice. To gain understanding of the situation as a whole, there is also need to shed light on various aspects and underlying perspectives. Thus, this research aims to illuminate and advance the understanding of the complexity of compulsory school teachers’ everyday work practices using digital technologies. The outcome of this dissertation illustrates the complexity of teachers’ everyday practices as well as additional issues adding to the complexity, and shows that these complex issues are worthy of further study. Among the issues emerged from this dissertation are differences in regard to how the complex situation is understood because different actors have multiple and sometimes conflicting worldviews. Ambiguities in core objectives and relevant concepts were found. Additionally, a pervasive lack of understanding about the realities of daily education and teaching practices, including variances in worldviews and mindsets was found adding to the complexity of teachers’ everyday practice using digital technologies.

Software jako pomocník učitele hudebně vzdělávacích disciplín / Software as a teacher's assistant for disciplines of music education

Kyjovský, Jan January 2017 (has links)
In his thesis, the author presents several computer programs, which can be used in music education. Ways of use are also suggested. The first part focuses on the development of digital technologies up to now. Author names current trends in education, such as Bring Your Own Device, Massive Open Online Courses and online education in general. Special attention is given to the near future of education according to the latest Horizon Report study. This is followed by the overview of the virtual reality technologies as they enter into mainstream adoption next year. A little attention is also given to the beginning era of cognitive computational systems, which will have essential impact on forming education in the future. In the second part, the author deals with available software for Windows, as it is still the most widespread operation system on desktop and laptop computers. Only the software, which can be used in school environment, is included with special focus on music education. In the same way, applications for mobile devices on Android platform are examined, due to the predominant global market share of this operation system. Google announced that there are currently 1.4 billion active Android devices worldwide last year. This number has been growing at the pace of 1.5 million new activations...

Mass customisation i modebranschen : Hur mass customisation kan användas som ett konkurrenskraftigt koncept av modeföretag / Mass customisation in the fashion industry : How mass customisation can be used as a competitive concept of fashion companies

Burman, Louise, Gustafsson, Malin January 2017 (has links)
As a result of a growing demand of fast produced fashion and new trends, it seems as if the consumers' needs are changing continuously. Furthermore, the product development of clothes often take place on expected demand and desires, several months in advance and not on request. The fashion industry faces further issues, for instance the difficulty of producing items with perfect fit and how to optimise inventory. Customisation, and more specifcally mass customisation could be a solution to these issues. It would be a way for companies to offer customised products for the individual consumer, but with a price similar to that of massproduction. Earlier research have claimed that digital technologies can be implemented by companies in combination with mass customisation to make their business more effective. How companies work with acitivites and resources to optimise the business process in-house is called operations management and can be crucial for the survival of a company. The aim of this essay is to understand how companies in the fashion industry can work with customisation and mass customisation with the support of digital technologies in order to be competative. Through working with this concept companies may meet the consumers' need and desires. We have, in the theoretical framework, used a model founded in the five dimensions: quality, speed, dependability, flexibility and cost. With these in mind we have studied three companies working with customisation. By doing that we have come to results showing that the concept of mass mustomisation affects all dimensions, but mostly quality. The concept can be used by companies to offer consumers what they demand when they demand it and thus create competitiveness.

Professional Development for Teachers through Collective Work. : An Approach to the Plan of Training for an Appropriate Use of Digital Technology in Secondary School.

Fernandez, Gilles 24 September 2015 (has links)
For several years, the uses of the new digital technologies have grown up in the social practice. Their command appears as an aim to train the French students’ career. This search proposes both an aid to think of the secondary school teachers’ commitment in the project to attend a session course on the digital technology and also on the public dimension which follows on from and which participates in their professional development. The double analysis that is proposed allows to get declarative and meaningful elements in relation to the actions which are carried out, some specific features linked to the subjects and the variety of ways to run schools. These elements are completed by an observation of groups of teachers communicating about their practice. Our report tries to focus the advantages of the work in groups in the teachers’ professional development and it shows the diversity of resources in schools. It emphasizes that these types of projects have to be guided by well-trained managers who are conscious of the different issues.

The research named "Fingerprints: meanings built by instructors in the process of teaching and learning with digital technologies" was developed in three public city schools from Juiz de Fora, state of Minas Gerais, as trying to understand the continuing formation of teachers towards the use of digital technologies in their classrooms. In this work, when studying training teachers, an attempt was made to know and understand other subjects, other consciences and other worlds, by dialoguing with them. From the theoretical and methodological approach to the cultural-historical perspective, the research was organized from the following question: "how does the teaching-learning process of digital technologies develop in teachers belonging to the Information Technology course in three public city schools in Juiz de Fora?" In the undertaking analysis process, three meaning core were addressed. In the first one, "The digital toolkit: reflections on its use in the classroom", the aspects regarding the organization and workings of the course were analysed, noting the resources for learning with and about the digital technologies and the utilization of open-source/free software. In the second, "Meanings created by the instructors about the teaching-learning process", a more intense reflection was done about the teching-learning process on the course "Information Technology (IT) and Communication in Education". The pedagogic and personal uses for digital technologies by teachers and students alike was observed. In the third meaning core, "Otherness and Individuality in the Collective: the transformation of courses in study and work groups" the peculiarities of the course "Information Technology (IT) and Communication in Education" in regard to the groups of students formed in the three schools of the study was observed. The dialoguing movement, the cumplicity, the solidarity and the mutual sharing of experiences raised questions about the differentials from this course to the ones which are usually found in the literature, in researches about this subject, and in our daily lives. In the end, the research's theorical and methodological fundamentals were resumed by discussing up on the investigative work with teachers in training and the meanings constructed during the course of this research. Teacher training peer, articulated the potential of digital technologies, was the great contribution of this thesis to research in Humanities.

Bordim, Lilian Lindquist January 2020 (has links)
