Ensino de isometrias na educação básica: uma aplicação didática em sala de aula / Teaching isometrics in basic education: a didactic application in the classroom

Cona, Debora Costa 18 May 2017 (has links)
In this dissertation we present a sequence of non-traditional activities, focusing on the teaching and learning of Geometry, in particular regarding the Isometrics in the Plan, elaborated for elementary school students, and the result of its application to eight classes of 9th grade , As a way to develop students\' reasoning skills. We used for this experiment the Design Experiment, a teaching experiment based on continuous improvement, and Van Hiele\'s theory based on Adela Jaime-Pastor\'s (1993) doctoral thesis, with a series of activities elaborated and applied by the teacher/researcher involving the translations and the reflections, through the phases of learning and levels of reasoning that the students develop with the application of this theory. This experiment was divided in two moments, application with four classes of 9th grade in 2015 and application with four other groups of 9th grade in 2016, subdivided into two other situations, activities on translations and activities on reflections. The data of this experiment were obtained through the productions of the students, who worked in doubles, in the classroom, recorded through photos, videos and audios recorded by the researcher herself. We also used the paper dolls of Brigitte Servatius (1997), with which we worked on translations and reflections. The students participating in the experiment finalized it with solid notions of the characteristics of the isometries and a visible progress in their level of knowledge. The way the activities were carried out brought reflexes to the routine of these students in the classroom, making it evident that the search for situations that arouse the students\' interest in an innovative way can generate better results and the motivation of continuous learning.

DollHouse

Goller, Whitney 01 May 2016 (has links)
The artist discusses the work in DollHouse, her Master of Fine Arts exhibition on display at Tipton Gallery, Johnson City, Tennessee from January 25 to February 5, 2016. The exhibition was an installation consisting of five sets, each containing furniture - both 2D and 3D - and a mask with instructions relating to a room found within a dollhouse. The sets and supporting thesis explore the ideas of social norms, feminism, and identity, and how submission to ideologies can create emptiness, while engagement can prompt social change. Topics include the process and evolution of the work and the artists who influenced it, ideas of identity and society, and the impacts of social norms on young women’s lives. Included is a catalogue of the exhibition.

Algoritmos exatos para problema da clique maxima ponderada / Exact algorithms for the maximum-weight clique problem / Algorithmes pour le problème de la clique de poids maximum

Araujo Tavares, Wladimir 06 April 2016 (has links)
In this work, we present three new exact algorithms for the maximum weight clique problem. The three algorithms depend on an initial ordering of the vertices. Two ordering are considered, as a function of the weights of the vertices or the weights of the neighborhoods of the vertices. This leads to two versions of each algorithm. The first one, called BITCLIQUE, is a combinatorial Branch & Bound algorithm. It effectively combines adaptations of several ideas already successfully employed to solve the problem, such as the use of a weighted integer coloring heuristic for pruning and branching, and the use of bitmap for simplifying the operations on the graph. The proposed algorithm outperforms state-of-the-art Branch & Bound algorithms in most instances of the considered in terms of the number of enumerated subproblems as well in terms of computational time The second one is a Russian Dolls, called BITRDS, which incorporates the pruning and branching strategies based on weighted coloring. Computational tests show that BITRDS reduces both the number of enumerated subproblems and execution time when compared to the previous state-of-art Russian Dolls algorithm for the problem in random graph instances with density above 50%. As graph density increases, this difference increases. Besides, BITRDS is competitive with BITCLIQUE with better performance in random graph instances with density between 50% and 80%. Finally, we present a cooperation between the Russian Dolls method and the Resolution Search method. The proposed algorithm, called BITBR, uses both the weighted coloring and upper bounds given by the dolls to find a nogood. The hybrid algorithm reduces the number of coloring heuristic calls, reaching up to 1 order of magnitude when compared with BITRDS. However, this reduction decreases the execution time only in a few instances. Several computational experiments are carried out with the proposed and state-of-the-art algorithms. Computational results are reported for each algorithm using the main instances available in the literature. Finally, future directions of research are discussed.

Matos Caycho, Jair Edu, Muñoz Quintana , Piero Francis, Paredes Salvador, Daniela, Rodriguez Monggó, Eduardo Luis, Sanginez Marigorda, Johan Antony 03 December 2020 (has links)
This research work seeks to know the feasibility of implementing an innovative business model focused on offering personalized dolls that reproduce sound and video to dedication through QR code scanning to people who want to give a gift different from the traditional one in Peru. This project was created under the name Dettagli and was implemented as an alternative in the gift market, since there are gifts that are traditional, common without new options for consumers. Dettagli considered offering a means of closeness between the one who gives the message and the one who receives it and to generate sentimental ties between them. To do this, a number of experiments were carried out that allowed the project to be validated, in addition to obtaining relevant information from the market. Likewise, to develop and maintain sales growth that allows the business to last over time, a strategic plan was made with a deep analysis of factors that can help meet this objective. Also, the necessary actions and strategies were established that made the stability and improvement of the business a reality. In addition, for the creation of the Dettagli project, it was considered to identify opinions of users who want to give someone an innovative detail and parents who want to give this same type of gifts to their young children, since they are part of the target audience. Based on all that has been done, it was found that the business model implemented by the project is profitable, viable and scalable. / Trabajo de investigación

[pt] O CORPO E A DANÇA COMO ESPAÇO DE MEMÓRIA ANCESTRAL NA CULTURA DE MATRIZ AFRICANA: A CRIAÇÃO DAS BONECAS AHOSIS / [en] THE BODY AND THE DANCE AS AN ANCESTRAL MEMORY SPACE IN AFRICAN CULTURE: THE CREATION OF AHOSIS DOLLS

JOCINEIA PEREIRA DOS SANTOS 02 January 2024 (has links)
[en] This research has as its theme the body as a space of ancestral memory, with the proposal to intervene in its representations, through the creation of the Ahosis Dolls, based on the experiences offered to the artisans of the Onikojá Institute, in the Corporal Movement Workshop, related to maculelê, samba de roda, congado and samba. As a methodology, notably, action research proposed the experimentation of body movements associated with the cultural manifestations then listed, in order to promote the expansion of the motor repertoires of the artisans involved, in the perspective of favoring the creation of dolls with new postures that refer to the memory ancestor of African origin. Although impacted by the social isolation imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the development of this methodology became possible with the holding of remote meetings, as well as with the possibility of partnership with the DHIS Laboratory, in which the activities promoted by the Museum stand out. da Pessoa in the research and extension project with MOTIRÔ, having been the fundamental celebrations for the construction of the present study, given its function, its crafts and its collective dimension.

The identity affirmation in the \'quilombola\'. Discourse through the semiotics perspective: the case of the black dolls from \'Quilombo de Conceição das Crioulas\'

Ilca Suzana Lopes Vilela 18 December 2014 (has links)
In this thesis, we have analyzed the quilombola discourse. Our theoretical object was the construction of the meaning effect of identity affirmation in the relation with the strategy of manipulation by seduction the empiric object were the black dolls from Quilombo de Conceição das Crioulas, which is located in Salgueiro-PE. We have aimed at: discussing what is semiotic identity, how this effect is textually and discursively produced and what the subjects identity affirmation means; analyzing how the meaning effect of identity is constructed in our corpus; collating the identity affirmation with the semiotics of manipulation; reflecting about the concept of manipulation and its deployment in greimasian semiotics and showing, in the corpus, the management of the meaning by the intentionality with which, implicitly, the enunciator engenders a positive end-image of the enunciatee, and by the passionate surplus which overtakes the discourse. The results of the theoretical discussion and its incidence in the analysis of the corpus show that the semiotic identity is a simulacrum and that syntaxic elements which produce repetition are needed for the effect of its affirmation. In the discourse of the dolls, this is realized by isotopy, aspectualization, tensivity. These elements, associated with the structure of manipulation, build the strategy of seduction aiming the adhesion to the discourse, which, by the tension between wanting and having to do, put the ethic and the esthetic in movement. Notably, repeating to remember and seducing to influence have a lot of importance in the semiotics of the dolls.
