La justice organisationnelle du groupe et le bien-être au travail : une approche dynamique / Team justice and wellbeing : A dynamic approach

La justice globale du groupe fait référence aux perceptions du traitement juste ou injuste reçu de la part des membres du groupe de travail ou des collègues de travail. Les perceptions de justice organisationnelle ont longtemps été considérées comme stables dans le temps, qui ne pouvaient changer que sur le niveau interindividuel. Cependant, il a été démontré empiriquement que les perceptions de justice varient dans le temps sur les deux niveaux inter et intra-individuels que ce soit d’une période à une autre, d’une semaine à une autre, d’un jour à un autre et même au cours d’une seule et même journée. La justice organisationnelle est connue pour avoir une influence significative sur un certain nombre de comportements et attitudes au travail tels que la performance, la satisfaction, l’intention de départ, l’engagement ou encore l’implication au travail. Récemment, il a été révélé que les perceptions de justice avaient également une influence sur le sentiment de bien-être au travail des individus. Ainsi, la présente recherche examine l’effet des perceptions de justice globale du groupe sur le bien-être au travail en adoptant une approche dynamique appelée la méthode du journal personnel ou la Diary Study. Cette recherche étudie également les mécanismes explicatifs de cette relation. / Overall team justice refers to the perceived treatments received by team members or coworkers at work. Organizational justice has been long considered as a stable variable over time changing from one individual to another. However, empirical studies have shown that justice perceptions vary over time at both the between and the within-individual level across periods of time, from one week to another, form one day to another, and even over the course of one single day. Organizational justice has been shown to have a significant influence on different individual’s attitudes and behaviors at work such as performance, satisfaction, turnover intention, engagement and implication at work. Recently, studies have revealed that justice perceptions have also an influence on individual’s wellbeing at work. Thus, the present research examines the effect of overall team justice perceptions on wellbeing at work by using a dynamic approach, namely, the Diary Study. This research also examines the underlying mechanisms of this relationship.

Hitta drivkraften i aktionsforskning - en studie om kollegial utveckling mot högre pedagogisk kvalitet i förskolan

Detta är en kvalitativ aktionsforskningsstudie utförd i förskolan. Studiens syfte är att bidra med kunskap genom ett praktiskt exempel visa hur pedagoger aktivt kan medverka till pedagogisk kvalitetsutveckling genom aktionsforskning. Metoden för undersökningen har främst följt Rönnermans (2012) aktionsforskningsprocess. I processen har reflektion, loggboksföring och filminspelning ingått. Ur pedagogernas reflektioner och resonemang hämtar studien sin empiri som sedan tolkas med stöd av Timperleys (2013) kunskapsbildande cykel, som använts som en teoretisk tolkningsram i studien. Studiens frågeställningar:•På vilka olika sätt upplever pedagoger i en förskola aktionsforskning som ett arbetssätt för ökat kvalitetsmedvetet arbetssätt?•Hur resonerar och reflekterar pedagogerna kring en egenvald frågeställning, med intention till att utveckla sin praktik? •På vilka sätt har föreliggande aktionsforskning lämnat spår av pedagogisk kvalitetsutveckling?Resultatet visar att aktionsforskningens huvudverktyg, kollegiala samtal med handledning och dokumentation, kan ha en motiverande effekt för pedagogerna. Kollegiala samtal ger pedagogerna en lust och positiv energi att vilja utveckla sin praktik mot en högre pedagogisk kvalitet. Hur tiden organiseras på förskolan är en avgörande faktor för en lyckad utvecklingsprocess. Detta visar sig ur flera perspektiv i studien; hur pedagogerna planerar för sina aktiviteter, hur reflektionstid är organiserat i förskolans utbildning, hur mycket tid som förskolechefen har för att delta i studien och vilken tid som är avsatt för kvalitetsarbete. Även pedagogerna själva upplever viss tidsbrist till de moment som ingår i aktionsforskningsprocessen. Slutsatserna i studien är att pedagogerna har upplevt aktionsforskning positiv för verksamhetsutveckling och att handledningen i processen visar sig vara av betydelse ur ett utvecklingsperspektiv. Den positiva motivation som pedagogerna får genom aktionsforskningens process kan sägas vara en drivkraft att vilja utveckla sin egen praktik. / This is a qualitative action research study in preschool. The aim is to understand how preschool pedagogues can participate in school development in an active way using action research. The research method has followed Rönnermans’ (2012) steps for an action research process. Reflection, diary writing and filming are methods which are included in this process, and are also used in this study. The empirical data is collected from reflections and dialogues between the pedagogues and are analysed by Timperleys’ (2013) cyclic knowledge process wheel. This has been the theoretical frame for the study. The research questions in this study are:- to find out in which ways pedagogues experience action research as a way to reach higher quality awareness.- how pedagogues reflect upon an own research question, with intentions to develop their own practise.- in which ways this action research does leave prints of pedagogical quality development.The results indicate that the main tools in action research, collegial dialogues with mentoring and documentation, can be motivating for the pedagogues. The collegial dialogues give the pedagogues positive energy to develop their own practice towards higher quality. How the time is organized for a successful quality development turns out to be a crucial factor in the studied preschool viewed from several perspectives. Pedagogues’ time for reflection and for planning activities are difficult to organize for. It also seems difficult for the preschool director to participate in the action research meetings. The conclusions of the study are that action research process seems to give pedagogues positive energy and motivation for willing to develop the preschool education. In summary, this study indicates that pedagogues can find empowerment in action research to make pedagogical quality development successful.

En litteraturöversikt över patienters upplevelser av patientdagbok.

Bakgrund: Patienter som skrivs ut från intensivvårdsavdelningar står inför en stor psykisk påfrestning, där fragmenterade minnen, minnesluckor och mardrömmar gör det svårt att urskilja vad som verkligen hänt och inte. Dagböcker är en billig intervention och har visat på potentiellt terapeutiska fördelar, för en population som annars löper signifikant risk för psykisk ohälsa. Syfte: Syftet med detta arbete var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av en dagbok skriven under deras vårdtid på en intensivvårdsavdelning. Metod: En beskrivande litteraturöversikt med systematisk ansats. Resultat: Fem huvudkategorier identifierades: Att läsa om sig själv i en kritisk situation, Att pussla ihop sin egen berättelse, Vikten av kontinuitet, Skapa insikt för att gå vidare, & Tacksamhet till vården och närstående. Det var påfrestande att läsa dagboken i början, och många uttryckte en overklighetskänsla över innehållet. Dagboken hjälpte deltagarna att koppla ihop minnesfragment med verkliga händelser, och den var ett viktigt verktyg i att rekonstruera sin egen berättelse, däremot kunde brister i kontinuiteten sätta hinder för detta och vikten av kontinuerliga anteckningar betonades. Dagboken gav insikt i hur sjuk deltagarna varit, och gjorde det lättare att förstå varför återhämtningen var långsam. Genom att läsa sjuksköterskans och närståendes anteckningar fick deltagarna en ny förståelse och tacksamhet gentemot det stöd de haft under vårdtiden, och dagboken stod som bevis för att de alltid haft någon vid sin sida, även om de inte kommer ihåg det själva.  Slutsats: Dagboken upplevdes hjälpa den psykologiska återhämtningen och gjorde tiden på intensivvårdsavdelningen mer hanterbar, vilket gjorde det möjligt att gå vidare. / Background: Discharge from the intensive care unit comes with significant psychological strain, with fragmented memories, memory gaps, and nightmares makes it hard differentiating between actual and false memories. Diaries is a cheep intervention with potential therapeutic advantages, for a population which otherwise is at great risk of mental illness. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe patients’ experience of a diary written during their stay at the intensive care unit. Method: A descriptive literature review with a systematic approach. Results: Five main categories emerged: To read about oneself in a critical situation, To piece together ones own story, The importance of continuity, Creating insight to move on, & Gratitude towards care giver and relatives. It was hard reading the diary at first, and many described a feeling of unreality. The diary aided participants in connecting fragmented memories to events, and it was seen as a crucial tool in reconstructing ones story. Lack of continuity was a hindrance, and the importance of continuous notes was stressed. The diary gave insight into how ill the participants had been, which made it easier to understand why the recovery was slow. By reading notes by nurses and relatives, the participants gained understanding and gratitude towards the support they hade received, and the diary was evidence that they always hade someone bedside, even if they can’t remember it. Conclusion: The diary was perceived to aid the psychological recovery and made the intensive care experience more manageable, which made it possible to move on.

An Analysis of Media Use and Media Practice Among Young People Aged Between 20 and 26 Years

The study investigated how young people, aged between 20 and 26 years, use the media which is available to them, and how much time they spend on it on a weekday and on a weekend day. In addition to this, it identified which factors the people look for when they are about to choose which media is worth their time, and I found out which media or news user types the young people belong to. I believe that this target group includes the users of tomorrow which I find interesting. Hence, I decided to focus on their media habits in particular.The data was collected through the means of the media diary method since I strive to highlight the personal experiences of the participants. Five more in-depth interview questions followed the diary. Through the lens of the theory on worthwhileness, the data was analysed. From various dimensions of worthwhileness (Schrøder, 2010; Schrøder&Larsen, 2010), I tried to see which ones my participants could relate to, and which of the seven user types (Schrøder, 2010) they are part of.Results showed that not all the informants consume news in their everyday life but when they do so, it is mostly done through Facebook and Instagram or in a few cases, a newspaper’s website. Social media activities are given great importance by the young people, and from the various devices, they seem to prefer smartphone.Expanding on these findings, results also illustrated that accessibility, practical features offered by the technology, and that the media is easy to use are key for the young people. Participation is regarded as important: producing and sharing, commenting, or maybe discussing is a way for the people to express themselves. From seven user types, I identified four and my informants appreciate that they can get hold of the news and information very quickly and that the process is cheap.

Patienter på IVA är utsatta för obehagliga upplevelser, både genom sjukdom, behandling och vårdmiljö. Närstående beskriver känslor av overklighet och skräck. Patienter minns drömmar, mardrömmar och faktiska händelser lång tid efter intensivvårdsvistelsen. Dagbok används på många IVA-avdelningar för att ge patienten ett underlag att bearbeta händelser och eventuella minnesluckor från vårdtiden. Syftet med litteraturstudien är att belysa betydelsen av dagbok för IVA-patienter och deras närstående. Studien grundas på nio utvalda och granskade artiklar. I analysen identifierades fem kategorier: kommunikation, trygghet, känslor, förståelse och acceptans samt värdefullt tids- och minnesdokument. / Patients at intensive care units are exposed for unpleasant experiences through illness, treatment and environment. The relatives describe feelings of unreality and fear. Patients remember dreams, nightmares and factual events a long time after discharge from intensive care. Diaries are used at many intensive care units, as a tool for understanding memories and loss of memories. The aim of this literature review is to illustrate the meaning of diaries for intensive care patients and their relatives. Nine articles were chosen and examined. Five categories were identified through the analyze: communication, security, feelings, understanding/accepting and a valuable document over time and memory.

It is well-known that Kafka had a great fascination with the possibilities and transience of the physical body, as evidenced in his various literary works. Using the theory of "the uncanny", The essay interprets and investigates how and what Kafka writes about others' bodies, as well as his own. It turns out that women's appearances are observed and commented on by Kafka to a greater extent than men. Primarily, these descriptions take on grotesque and absurd characteristics, sometimes with an element of fascination. Regarding Kafka's own body, it primarily evokes a sense of disgust in what the author sees. Linked to the essay's theory of "the uncanny”, it becomes evident throughout (clearly, in) his observations that Kafka experiences a feeling of the aforementioned "uncanny". As a conclusion to the essay, the potential of diaries used in an educational context (the classroom) is highlighted, as well as how students can benefit from reading and working with diaries to acquire skills and abilities. / <p>Slutgiltigt godkännandedatum: 2023-05-31</p>

Neuroticism's Ties to Relationship Satisfaction: What Behaviors Matter?

In multiple studies, neuroticism and romantic relationship satisfaction are negatively related to one another. Yet, the exact behaviors that link neuroticism to lower relationship satisfaction are unknown. Our seven-day daily diary study (N = 246) identified specific, everyday behaviors that might mediate this association. After establishing positive and negative factors using exploratory factor analysis, we examined whether positive or negative behaviors (and sub-categories of these dimensions) mediate the relationship between neuroticism and relationship satisfaction. Our results showed that negative behaviors mediated the relationship between neuroticism and relationship satisfaction but positive behaviors did not. A subcategory of conflict tactics mediated the relationship over and beyond the mediational impact of the broader negative behaviors factor. There were no other mediational influences. The implications of this research can inform clinical interventions aimed at increasing relational functioning via a reduction in maladaptive relational behaviors associated with neuroticism.
