OEM/ODM/OBM模式在台灣工業電腦的適用性

近年來,台灣工業電腦表現突出,產值幾乎年年提升,在台灣資訊硬體產業中是異軍突起的產業。但事實上台灣的工業電腦產業的產值並不大,不到台灣資訊硬體產業的百分之二,是屬於一種利基型的產業,故至目前為止,毛利都還是相當高,約在30%~40%之間。但毛利高卻並未引起飽受低毛利之苦的國內資訊硬體大廠的垂涎,這與其產業的特性及文化有相當大的關係。 此外,台灣資訊電子工業是以代工模式起家,發展至目前全球第三大產值的規模,也有自創品牌;而台灣工業電腦產業也思循者類似的軌跡發展,但因產業特性有不同,故在業務模式的發展上有所差異。本研究探討下列議題:(1)工業電腦產業的特性(2)OEM/ODM/OBM業務模式特性,以瞭解何種業務模式較適用在台灣的工業電腦產業。 本研究藉由探討工業電腦產業的特性為基礎,再經由對OEM/ODM/OBM模式的業務特性之研究,輔以對國內上市上櫃的工業電腦廠商深度訪談,以了解台灣工業電腦在OEM/ODM/OBM三種業務模式的適用性。工業電腦的特性為少量多樣、密集的售後技術支援、長期供貨及應用在嚴苛的環境;而在業務模式方面,OEM模式基本上是廠商提供產能及生產技術,因目前台灣資訊電子工業生產技術普遍成熟,故附加價值不大,廠商需要靠規模經濟以降低製造成本,但此與工業電腦的應用市場為利基型市場,講求少量多樣的特性不符合;且如研發設計與製造生產分由不同公司負責時,交易成本會增加,故OEM模式不適用於台灣工業電腦廠商;ODM模式的研發與製造為同一廠商,對於講求產品需高度穩定性及需密集後續技術支援的工業電腦產品而言,可提供買主較為可靠的選擇,且工業電腦的應用市場多而分歧,亟需要具有研發實力的供應商針對不同的應用而設計出不同的產品;而對於台灣工業電腦廠商而言,由於提供了研發設計的部分,附加價值較高;故ODM模式對於台灣工業電腦廠商是具有相當的適用性。任何性質的產品想要獲得更豐厚的利潤或顧客忠誠度,抑或是市場佔有率的提升,除了獨占或技術專利之外,都必需走向品牌之路,工業電腦產業亦是如此,故對於工業電腦廠商來說,建立品牌有助於本身的發展;而對於買主而言,品牌代表可信任,代表產品具有相當的可信度,而這正是工業電腦產品市場所最重視的特質之一;故OBM模式在工業電腦是可以適用的。

TCTP (Translationally Controlled Tumor Protein) est une protéine très conservée chez l'ensemble des eucaryotes. C’est une protéine vitale impliquée dans divers processus essentiels, et pour de nombreux organismes son absence conduit à la létalité dès les stades embryonnaires.Chez les animaux comme chez les végétaux, TCTP joue un rôle primordial dans la croissance et le développement des individus. En plus de son implication dans l’apoptose et la réparation de l’ADN, TCTP favorise la prolifération cellulaire, et se trouve donc être un élément important de la tumorigenèse. Chez les végétaux, la forte conservation de TCTP a permis la préservation de la plupart des fonctions décrites chez les animaux, mais les facteurs qui interviennent en amont ne sont pas encore connus.Par la mise en place, la conduite et la finalisation de deux cribles génétiques utilisant la plante modèle Arabidopsis thaliana, ce travail de thèse a cherché à identifier des facteurs situés en amont de TCTP. En parallèle, une seconde étude fut menée afin de mesurer l'impact de l'absence de TCTP sur les voies de l’auxine et des cytokinines au cours du développement embryonnaire, permettant de mieux comprendre l’origine de l’embryolétalité du mutant tctp. / TCTP (Translationally Controlled Tumor Protein) is strongly conserved among eukaryotes. It is a vital protein implicated in various major processes, and its absence leads to early embryolethality in many organisms. In plants as in animals, TCTP is a key factor of growth and development. Implicated in apoptosis and DNA repair, TCTP is also an enhancer of cell proliferation, and is a key element of tumorigenesis. Major functions of TCTP are conserved between plants and animals, but upstream factors are not known yet. Using a genetic screen on the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, the principal goal of this thesis was to discover regulators of TCTP.In parallel, the impact of TCTP knockout on auxin and cytokinin pathways during embryo development was investigated.

Ambulance in Red Zones in Cape Town, South Africa : Waiting time for patients when ambulance requires armed escort

Background. In South Africa violence related crimes are frequent, and interpersonal violence is one of the most common causes of injury and death. Violence can be related to social structures, poverty and income inequality. In South Africa 25% of the population live in extreme poverty, and 16% of households in Western Cape live in Informal dwellings. Drug and alcohol miss-use is a big problem. EMS personnel all over the world are exposed to violence. The last couple of years the rate of incidents of violence against the ambulances and EMS personnel in Western Cape and Cape Town has escalated, and a protocol to protect the personnel has been established. The protocol of Red Zones requires an armed escort for the ambulance and EMS personnel when working in certain areas. The red zones are often in low income areas, which makes United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal of Reduced inequality relevant. The Purpose of this study is to describe how red zones affect patient waiting times and mission times for the ambulance in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Method. Quantitative analysis of priority 1 assignments in one month periods in 2016, 2017 and 2018 to Hanover Park, a suburb of Cape Town. Hanover Park has been considered a red zone since September 2016. Result. Seven different time periods in the missions were analyzed, comparing the City of Cape Town and Hanover park in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Conclusion. The result shows an increase in waiting times for EMS in Hanover Park, even though the precise response time could not be described. Call times and mission times for the entire City of Cape Town seem to have increased, indicating a problem beyond the red zones, potentially affecting everyone in need of an ambulance in the city. Further studies are encouraged. / Bakgrund. I Sydafrika är våldsrelaterade brott vanligt förekommande, och interpersonellt våld är en av de vanligaste orsakerna till skada och död. Våldet kan relateras till sociala strukturer, fattigdom och inkomstskillnad. I Sydafrika lever 25% av befolkningen i extrem fattigdom och 16% av hushållen i Western Cape lever i informella bostäder. Missbruk av droger och alkohol är ett stort problem. Ambulanspersonal över hela världen utsätts för våld. De senaste åren har graden av våldshändelser mot ambulanser och dess personal i Western Cape och Kapstaden eskalerats och ett protokoll för att skydda personalen etablerats. Protokollet för Röda Zoner kräver en beväpnad eskort för ambulans och personal vid arbete i vissa områden. De röda zonerna är ofta i låginkomstområden, vilket gör FN: s hållbara utvecklingsmål för minskad ojämlikhet relevant. Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur röda zoner påverkar patienters väntetid och uppdragstider för ambulansen i Western Cape i Sydafrika. Metod. Kvantitativ analys av prio 1-uppdrag under en månadsperiod i 2016, 2017 och 2018 till Hanover Park, en förort till Kapstaden. Hanover Park har ansetts vara en röd zon sedan september 2016. Resultat. Sju olika tidsperioder i uppdragen analyserades, och jämfördes mellan hela Kapstaden och Hanover Park 2016, 2017 och 2018. Slutsats. Resultatet visar ökad väntetid för ambulansvård i Hanover Park, även om den exakta framkörningstiden inte kunde beskrivas. Uppdragstider för hela staden Cape Town verkar ha ökat, vilket indikerar ett problem bortom de röda zonerna, vilket potentiellt kan påverka alla som behöver en ambulans i staden. Ytterligare studier rekommenderas.

Bakgrund: Det är problematiskt att implementera hållbara styrmedel i små- och medelstora företag (SMF) enligt tidigare forskning. Miljöledningssystem är ett populärt hållbart styrmedel där många svenska SMF har certifierat sig mot miljöledningsstandarden ISO 14001. I och med uppdateringen ISO 14001:2015 tillkom nya krav där organisationer har tre år på sig att uppdatera standarden. Det är därmed relevant att studera svenska SMF som nyligen uppdaterat sin miljöcertifiering samt att få ta del av deras upplevelser. Syfte: Denna studie ämnar bidra med kunskaper om hur små- och medelstora företag upplever de drivkrafter, barriärer och praktiska implikationer som uppstår vid implementeringen av ISO 14001. Metod: En kvalitativ flerfallstudie på två fallföretag med fokus på företagens subjektiva upplevelser kring ämnet har bedrivits. Dokumentgranskning samt intervjuer har legat till grund för en hermeneutisk narrativ tolkning där empirin har presenterats i form av berättelser. Slutsats: Kundkrav är enligt studien den dominerande drivkraften att implementera ISO 14001 för SMF. Implementering och upprätthållande av ISO 14001 visar sig vara utmanande på grund av internet motstånd och att standarden inte är optimal för företagens struktur, där ISO 14001:2015 inte har upplevts underlättande för denna problematik. Många positiva effekter kan konstateras som implikationer, men det går att diskutera om dessa väger tyngre än de försvårande faktorerna. I takt med att kundkraven på ISO 14001 ökar har dessa SMF inte mycket att säga till om vilket grundar vår slutsats att SMF kan uppleva ISO 14001 som ett nödvändigt ont. / Background:Implementing sustainability management tools for SMEs has been problematic according to earlier studies. Environmental Managemt System (EMS) is a popular tool where many Swedish SMEs is certified to the EMS-standard ISO 14001. The update of the standard ISO 14001:2015 included several new criteria for organizations to fulfill where they have a transition period of three years to update their certification. It is therefore relevant to study Swedish SMEs who recently updated their certification to let their own experiences come through. Purpose: This study aims to contribute with knowledge to how SMEs experience drivers, barriers and practical implications connected to the implementation of ISO 14001. Method: A qualitative multiple case study on two SMEs has been conducted with focus on the cases’ subjective perceptions. Document studies and interviews will provide a hermeneutic narrative interpretation where each case is presented as a narrative. Conclusion: Customer demands are according to the study the most significant driver for these SMEs to implements ISO 14001. The implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 appears to be a challenge caused by internal resistance and the fact that the standard is not optimal for the structure of SMEs. We have not found indications that ISO 14001:2015 helps SMEs to tackle this problem. However, many positive implications have been found, although it is disputable if the positive aspects are larger than the barriers. As the customer demands are increasing, SMEs appear to have little to say which leads to the conclusion that ISO 14001 can be perceived y SMEs as a necessary pain.

Využití vybraných molekulárních metod k metabolické charakterizaci průmyslově významných kvasinek / Use of some molecular techniques to metabolic characterization of industrially significant yeasts

Karotenoidy, ergosterol a mastné kyseliny jsou velmi žádané látky využívané v krmivářském, potravinářském a kosmetickém průmyslu. Konvenční zdroje mastných kyselin a karotenoidů jsou závislé na sezónních podmínkách, geografické poloze a na dostupnosti zemědělské půdy, což znesnadňuje pokrýt jejich neustále se zvyšující spotřebu. Velmi slibným řešením je mikrobiální produkce výše uvedených látek pomocí karotenogenních kvasinek, které jsou schopny simultánně produkovat karotenoidy, mastné kyseliny i ergosterol. Předložená disertační práce je zaměřená na molekulární a metabolickou charakterizaci karotenogenních kvasinek a na jejich potenciál pro průmyslové aplikace. Proto první experimentální části práce jsou zaměřeny na kvasinky druhu R. mucilaginosa a R. toruloides, jejich produkční vlastnosti, vliv nutričního stresu a různých zdrojů uhlíku, jakými byly xylóza a glycerol. Kromě podrobné charakterizace jejich produkčních vlastností, byly tyto kmeny také charakterizovány molekulárními metodami, zahrnující sekvenční analýzu ITS1, ITS2 a D1/2 ribozomálního operonu a analýzu mini a mikrosatelitních sekvencí M13 a GTG5. Druh R. toruloides je známý jako vynikající producent mastných kyselin, a proto se v poslední době stal cílovou karotenogenní kvasinkou pro vývoj nástrojů pro jeho genetickou manipulaci. V této práci byly úspěšně připraveny geneticky modifikované klony kmene R. toruloides, nesoucí nadměrně exprimované geny pro diacylglycerol acyltransferázu (DGA1) a glycerol-3-fosfát dehydrogenázu (GPD1). Produkce mastných kyselin u modifikovaných klonů nebyla ve srovnání s původním kmenem vyšší. Proto byla další část práce zaměřená na přípravu nadprodukčních mutantních kmenů připravených náhodnou mutagenezí. Kombinace limitace dusíkem a inhibice produkce karotenoidů vedla k úspěšné selekci robustních mutantních kmenů s nadprodukcí karotenoidů vykazující rezistenci vůči difenylaminu. Poslední část práce se zabývá produkčními vlastnostmi méně známých druhů karotenogenních kvasinek náležící do řádů Sporidiobolales a Cystofilobasidales, ve srovnání s relativně dobře prostudovanými karotenogenními druhy R. toruloides a P.rhodozyma. V této studii byly nejlešími producenty mastných kyselin kmeny S.metaroseus CCY 19-6-20 a C. macerans CCY 10-01-02. Nejlepší producent karotenoidů, kmen R. mucilaginosa CCY 19-04-06, navíc produkoval lykopen, který představoval více než 80 % celkového množství karotenoidů produkovaných tímto kmenem.

It also describes the technological process of production of printed circuit boards with subtractive method and discusses the different steps of production with regard to the proposed production. The practical part deals with the actual realization of the project, a selection of production technology, machinery, design the layout of the building, capacity calculations, deployment tools, practical application of the method SLP, visualization of production in the Plavis VisTable software, waste management and economic evaluation of project costs.

Product life cycle perspective, a concept emanating from sustainable product development has gradually emerged as one of the key areas in product design and development. Several studies and research have shown the direct co-relationship between product design, development and manufacturing and its impact on our environment and ecosystem. The need to take these environmental factors into consideration is fundamental and highly prioritized in organizations that seeks to minimize the environmental impact of their operations in our ecosystem and if possible redirect these operations to contribute positively to saving the natural ecosystem. In the latest revision of ISO 14001:2015 standard, the term product life cycle perspective (LCP) has now become a fundamental requirement for organizations to fulfill. The requirement specifies the need for life cycle perspectives to be a significant factor during product design and development. However, the practical challenges of continuously integrating life circle analysis in product design is enormous for companies and organizations. This thesis will look at the challenges confronting ISO 14001 certified product manufacturing companies and allied services in implementing product LCP during product development and design and also the interpretations given by auditors from certification companies concerning how companies implement product LCP in relation to the requirements in ISO 14001:2015 at the product design and development stages.
