It uses the hypothesis that the city will not be able to subsist for a long time only supported by orality. Because of that, the study ensures the importance of resorting to photographic records as a historical source, so that, combined, it can preserve and the non-dissipation of the places' memory. Therefore, it concludes that during a virtual age is necessary to search for a digital media able to organize, scan and share of Chico Fotografo's material as a historical source. Also, strengthens the conclusion showing as the past photograph is disseminated and preserved, it creates a democratic process. At the end, it permits the city historical knowledge and the recognition of people as being part of it, through a experience capable of interacting image and history.

The treatment of culturemes in a touristic text : A semantic and pragmatic study of the translation techniques used in a book about the cultural heritage of Seville

Hedström, Maria January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this paper is to carry out a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the semantic and pragmatic aspects of a translation from Spanish into Swedish. Taking advantage our extensive knowledge of the local area we selected a book about the cultural heritage of Seville. Owing to the differences in the two cultures we expected to find numerous foreign cultural words – that we call culturemes – throughout the book that have no direct equivalence in Swedish. Our intention was to detect them and describe by means of several examples the translation techniques we used in order to adapt the target text to the Swedish reader. At the end we also carried out a quantitative analysis of the 252 culturemes we found, with a table showing which translation techniques dominate, and the frequency of occurrence of other techniques. We aimed to transfer as many culturemes as possible in order to give the target text some local color. This is the strategy called foreignization, recommended by Venuti. Throughout the translation and analysis process we concluded that the translator must have a sound linguistic and cultural knowledge of both the source and target languages in order to successfully resolve cultural differences and create an idiomatic and pragmatic translation.

SALA VIRTUAL DE RECURSOS MULTIFUNCIONAIS PARA POTENCIALIZAR O ATENDIMENTO EDUCACIONAL ESPECIALIZADO / VIRTUAL ROOM OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL RESOURCES TO ENHANCE THE SPECIALIZED CARE EDUCATION

Roveder, ângela Balbina Picada 11 August 2015 (has links)
This study linked to the line of research "Development of network educational technology", from the Professional Master course on Network Educational Technology, aims to contribute to the provision of Specialized Educational Service (SES). To do so, it was sought to develop a Digital Educational Material (DEM) to enhance SES; specifically the objectives were: 1) expand the SES, implementing a DEM in order to be used presentially and at a distance; 2) adapt the pedagogical model DEM, making it accessible to the target audience of the Special Education Student (SPES) and 3) validate the possibilities of motivation, autonomy and learning of DEM with SPES, under the assessment of SES teachers. On the basis of theories, it can include four axes: first, contemplating the special education; the second, with studies of digital educational materials, Learning objects; the third on Teaching Design (TD) in the construction of DEM and the fourth axis referring to the accessibility of digital educational materials. By applying a qualitative research, the focus was on teachers who work in Multifunctional Resource Rooms, performing the SES of state public schools in the city of Santa Maria, RS state. Data collected went through content analysis (Bardin, 2011), using three categories: motivation for the use of DEM, the autonomy in the use of DEM and potential for learning. The results of the analyzed categories allow evidence that the motivation to use DEM is present due to the context of illustrations, content and accessibility; as the autonomy, the results indicate that the non-linear path and affordable navigation possibilities are important characteristics for the development of a DEM, and finally, the potential for learning is present from the developed educational activities in accordance with the practices the SES and the possibilities of using DEM presentially and at distance. Thus, the study achieved its goals, understanding that the virtual room of multifunction resources gives SES greater potential.

Maraza Saravia, María Isabel 09 December 2020 (has links)
Music journalism in Peru is not a branch that has been developed very often. Although there have been different print media that have dared to publish this type of information years ago, nowadays they are almost scarce. Faced with this, different platforms emerge in the virtual world, willing to produce musical journalistic content. As a result, it was decided to address this area of specialized digital journalism, taking as cases the Peruvian platforms Tercer Parlante, Conciertos Perú and Garaje del Rock. This investigation's main theme is to carry out a descriptive analysis of the types of stories. Whether they are informative notes, chronicles, reviews and interviews, of the three platforms already mentioned. Likewise, it seeks to discover if the information provided by these platforms is journalistic. For this, a descriptive and interpretive methodology was used and an observation was made of the publications from the years 2017 to 2020, from the three platforms. Likewise, the files were used as a research instrument. These two files were subdivided into two categories. In the first category, the structure of the page was described, the sections and the frequency with which they publish were identified. While in the second category, the headlines, the agenda, the handling of sources, the types of stories, the handling of specialized language and the use of digital resources were described. Once the investigation was completed, it was concluded that these platforms do provide specialized journalistic material. / Trabajo de investigación

Yriarte Galindo, Daniela del Carmen 04 November 2020 (has links)
This qualitative research work presents as a central idea the presence of advertising in the fashion journalistic discourse of the informative pieces of the magazine Cosas Moda. Traducción audiovisual y lenguaje especializado: un análisis de la subtitulación del lenguaje especializado jurídico en dramas legales estadounidenses emitidos entre los años 2009 a 2020 / Audiovisual Translation and Specialized Language: Analyzing the subtitling of specialized legal language in American legal dramas broadcasted between 2009 and 2020

Loayza Torres, Renzo Alesandro, Majail Díaz, Andrea Camila 08 January 2021 (has links)
O. J. Simpson”. / The subtitling of specialized language present in series is an activity with a high degree of difficulty, since the translator faces a triple task: 1) to be consistent with the subtitling norms and characteristics, 2) to be precise and correct with the specialized legal terminology, and 3) to have to adapt the contents and terminology to achieve a good understanding and reception by the audience. The difficulty of this triple task increases in account of the inherent complexity of legal translation and the restrictions of audiovisual translation. Hence, this research aims to analyze the subtitling of specialized language present in the following American legal dramas broadcasted from 2009 to 2020: "The Good Wife," "Suits," "How to Get Away with Murder" and "American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson." By using the contrastive text analysis technique, this study intends to identify and explain the problems that this task may entail, as well as to determine and explain the techniques used to solve them.

Olaya Ravenna, Luis Enrique 04 November 2021 (has links)
In recent years, sports journalism has been gaining prominence in the Peruvian press. However, it can often be seen that the journalistic texts written for sports media do not necessarily reflect that an in-depth investigation has been carried out behind that to ensure the veracity of the information provided. Given this situation, it was decided to analyze the case of one of the newspapers most important national sports, and market leader in its field: the newspaper Líbero. This work seeks to identify if investigative resources are applied and in what way they are used in Peruvian journalism, taking as an example one of the most important sports media in the country. In addition, it was decided to address the case of the doping of Paolo Guerrero, the same one that was chosen for its wide coverage, which allowed us to have a greater body of analysis. A qualitative methodology was used and the coverage made by the Líbero newspaper was followed up during the 8 months that the aforementioned case was developed. Likewise, an instrument was designed based on three categories of analysis, which allowed us to identify which resources characteristic of investigative journalism were used and in what way. 10 notes from the printed newspaper and 9 notes from the web were chosen to be analyzed. Finally, it was concluded that Diario Líbero does not really do investigative journalism. Although the resources are present in some of his notes, the vast majority of his texts are based on information from third parties and do not comply with the rigor that investigative journalism requires. / Tesis
