A performance cultural ocorre em diferentes contextos sociais, em cada performance, criam-se novas configurações, novos espaços e espectadores. Neste trabalho, observamos a Dança dos Mascarados de Poconé composta por 28 homens que se vestem com máscaras e roupas coloridas para a realização do ritual coletivo, desempenhando uma conexão entre os dançantes e a comunidade. Pensando na Dança dos Mascarados como Performance cultural, é possível pensar na dança como uma ação extra cotidiana, uma arte da presença e uma ação coletiva. A dança interrompe as experiências rotineiras e se inscreve numa nova temporalidade. / The concept of the cultural performance, as dramaturgical proposal was articulated through Schechner and Turner’s studies, of conception that all restored behavior is a performance trying to reveal the dynamic character, living and community own transformer (DAWSEY, 2013). The cultural performance occurs in different social contexts, each performance, creates new configurations, new spaces and spectators. In this study, we observed the Dança dos Mascarados of Poconé, composed by 28 men who dress up with masks and colorful clothes, for the realization of collective ritual, playing a connection between the dancers and the community. Thinking in the Dança dos Mascarados as a cultural performance, it is possible to think in the dance as a daily extra action, an art of presence and a collective action. The dance interrupts the routine experiences and is part of a new temporality.

A study on the behavior of the total angular momentum of the planetary systems known up to present date becomes relevant when we know that about 98% of the angular momentum of the solar system is associated with the planets, although they represent only 0.15 percent of the mass of the whole system. In this dissertation we study the behavior of stellar angular momentum, orbital angular momentum and total angular momentum in a sample of 282 stars harboring planets, including 40 multiple systems. We observed that planetary systems containing more than one known planet have both higher orbital angular momentum and total angular momentum compared to those who have only one planet. This analysis shows that multiplanet systems tend to have higher momenta, suggesting that the planets in such systems that contribute to the greater portion momenta have been found. Mecanismos de proteção a mionecrose nos musculos extra-oculares de camundongos distroficos mdx / Mechanisms of protection against myonecrosis in extraocular muscles of the mdx mice

Em ausência de distrofina, ocorre aumento da permeabilidade ao cálcio e conseqüente mionecrose. No camundongo distrófico mdx, os músculos extra-oculares (EOM) não apresentam mionecrose, sendo protegidos da falta de distrofina. Este fato os torna importantes para a maior compreensão dos mecanismos da patogênese da distrofia muscular. No presente trabalho verificamos se alterações nos níveis das proteínas calsequestrina e SERCA1, reguladoras do cálcio, e ?-distroglicana (?-DG), pertencente ao complexo distrofina-glicoproteínas, podem se relacionar a proteção contra a mionecrose dos EOM de animais distróficos. Utilizamos as técnicas de immunoblotting e imunofluorescência e observamos que os EOM de animais distróficos apresentaram aumento significativo no conteúdo das proteínas calsequestrina e SERCA1, bem como aumento significativo da ?-distroglicana. Músculos distróficos não protegidos (tibial, gastrocnêmio, sóleo, esternomastóide e diafragma) apresentaram diminuição no conteúdo destas proteínas em relação aos controles. Não foram observadas alterações na localização da utrofina, decorrente da falta da distrofina. Sugerimos que o aumento da ?-DG nos EOM de animais distróficos possa auxiliar na integridade do sarcolema e, conseqüentemente, na proteção das fibras musculares. Já o aumento das proteínas ligadas ao Ca2+ nos EOM mdx poderia ajudar na rápida remoção do excesso de cálcio, resultando na manutenção da sua homeostase e proteção à mionecrose. Os resultados obtidos nos demais músculos distróficos confirmam que distúrbios no tamponamento do cálcio podem estar envolvidos na distrofia muscular. / Abstract: Duchenne muscular dystrophy is one of the most common hereditary diseases. Abnormal calcium ion handling renders dystrophic muscle fibers more susceptible to necrosis. In the mdx mice, extraocular muscles (EOM) are protected and do not undergo myonecrosis. We investigated whether this protection is related to an increased expression of calcium-binding proteins, which may protect against the elevated calcium levels seen in dystrophic fibers. The expression of SERCA1 and calsequestrin was examined in EOM and in non-spared limb, diaphragm and sternomastoid muscles of control and mdx mice using immunofluorescence and immunoblotting. Dystrophic EOM presented a significant increase in the proteins studied, and a significant increase in ?-dystroglycan expression. These proteins were reduced in the non-spared mdx muscles. The were no changes in utrophin distribution. The increase of Ca2+-handling proteins in dystrophic EOM may permit a better maintenance of calcium homeostasis, with the consequent absence of myonecrosis. Leitura, família e subjetivação

Não há como negar que a leitura é imprescindível na vida de qualquer cidadão que deseja se inserir na sociedade e se sentir valorizado perante sua comunidade. A leitura crítica situa o leitor diante dos diversos mundos que o cercam: da política, da cultura, dos esportes, do entretenimento, da literatura, etc. O meu exercício docente numa escola de periferia da Rede Municipal de Ensino da cidade de Taubaté tem ratificado mau desempenho em leitura por muitos alunos, apesar das ações desenvolvidas nas aulas de Língua Portuguesa. Essa constatação também é análoga à de vários colegas que exercem o magistério na mesma rede de ensino, em locais semelhantes. A partir dessa verificação, surgiu o interesse em tentar compreender as razões por que numa mesma sala de aula, em que se oferecem os mesmos conteúdos, a mesma didática, há tanta diferença entre os alunos quanto a questões de leitura e aprendizagem de modo geral. Dessa forma, mais especificamente, este estudo visa a: 1) analisar as condições sócio-econômicas e culturais dos alunos de 4 escolas participantes do Projeto OBSERVATÓRIO DA EDUCAÇÃO/UNITAU; 2) analisar suas representações imaginárias acerca das práticas sociais de leitura e os efeitos, ou não, de seus pais sobre o desenvolvimento de sua competência em leitura; 3) refletir sobre como esses fatores podem afetar o envolvimento dos alunos nas atividades de leitura na escola. Para atingir esses objetivos, os alunos uma amostragem de cada escola responderam a um questionário na sala de aula, abordando questões referentes aos componentes familiares, às condições culturais e socioeconômicas da família. Para análise das representações imaginárias acerca de leitura, uma proposição foi respondida pelos alunos do 6 ao 9 ano: O que você pensa sobre leitura. Toma-se como alicerce, os pressupostos teóricos da Análise de Discurso de linha francesa (AD), os quais, associados às análises dos dados quantitativos, permitem concluir que fatores extra-sala de aula influenciam na subjetividade leitora dos alunos provocando a heterogeneidade na aprendizagem. Expusemos as predominâncias masculinas ou femininas nas enunciações, enfatizando as diferenças dos discursos entre os sexos e apresentamos, também, resultados referentes à análise da materialidade linguística dos alunos a qual conjuga história e ideologia para apreensão de sentidos. Finalmente apresentamos a contribuição desse estudo para a Linguística Aplicada, voltada ao ensino de Língua Portuguesa. / It is undeniable that reading is essential in the life of citizens who wish to be part of the society and to feel appraised in their community. Critical reading makes readers face many worlds surrounding them: politics, culture, sports, entertainment, literature etc. My teaching experience in a municipal school in the suburbs of Taubaté has ratified the fact that many students have a bad reading performance, regardless the actions developed in Portuguese classes. This finding is also analogous to many of my colleagues who teach in similar places, in the same city educational system. Taking it into account, the interest to try to understand the reasons why in a classroom, in which the same content and the same didactics are offered, there is such a great difference among students related, not only to reading, but also to learning as a whole. Thus, more specifically, this research aims at: 1) analyzing the socioeconomic and cultural conditions of students of 4 schools which take part of the Projeto OBSERVATÓRIO DA EDUCAÇÃO/UNITAU, 2) analyzing their parents imaginary representations of reading social practices and its effects, or not, about the development of their reading competence; 3) reflect upon how these factors can affect students commitment to reading activities at school. To fulfill these objectives, students a sampling of each school - answered a questionnaire in class, whose questions were related to their family members and their socioeconomic and cultural conditions. To analyze the imaginary representations about reading, a proposition was answered by students from the 6th to the 9th grades: What do you think about reading? The French Discourse Analysis theoretical tenets are the foundations for this research, which in association with the quantitative data analysis, allowed us to conclude that extra-class factors influence students reading subjectivity leading to heterogeneity in learning. We exposed the masculine and the feminine predominance in the enunciations, emphasizing the differences between the discourses of the different sexes and we also present results related to the analysis of the students linguistic materiality which conjugates History and Ideology to apprehend meanings. Finally, we present the contribution this research gives to Applied Linguistic, focusing on Portuguese teaching.

Infrared Micro-tomography for the characterization of extra-terrestrial materials / Micro-tomographie infrarouge pour la caractérisation de matériaux extraterrestres

L’étude en laboratoire d’échantillons extraterrestres, issus d’objets primitifs, est fondamentale aussi bien pour améliorer notre connaissance de la formation et de l’évolution de notre Système Solaire que pour interpréter les observations faites par les missions spatiales.Des analyses précises en laboratoire de ces échantillons sont essentielles pour comprendre les conditions physico-chimiques qui ont mené à la formation des petits corps et des planètes. Le but de cette thèse interdisciplinaire a été d’exploiter l’imagerie infrarouge et de développer un dispositif de microtomographie en spectroscopie infrarouge à transformée de Fourrier.Nous étudierons des fragments de météorites et de poussières astéroïdales. De plus, la tomographie en rayons X a été utilisée pour contraindre précisément la forme de l’échantillon. Avec ces analyses, nous avons caractérisé la composition de matériaux extraterrestres à très petite échelle sans les détruire. Nous avons étudié l’effet des processus post-accrétionels, comme l’altération spatiale, à l’intérieur du corps parent, ou l’altération spatiale, à la surface de l’astéroïde, à la fois sur les parties minérale et organique. En particulier,nous avons pu grâce à cette expérience,étudier la corrélation spatiale de la matière minérale et organique, ce qui est fondamental pour comprendre l’origine et l‘évolution de la matière organique. / Laboratory based studies of extraterrestrialmaterials derived from primitive objectsis fundamental to improve our knowledgeabout the formation and the evolutionof the Solar System as well as for interpretingobservations collected by spacecraftand landers. Precise laboratory analysesof samples obtained from sample returnmissions are essential to understand theconditions and the physico-chemical processes,which lead to the formation of thesmall bodies and planets. The aim of thisinterdisciplinary thesis was to exploit theinfrared imaging and to implement threedimensionalFourier transform infrared microtomographyto study different extraterrestrialmaterials (meteorites and asteroidaldust). Moreover, X-ray tomographywas used to determine the precise shape ofthe samples. With these analytical methods,we have characterized the compositionof extraterrestrial materials withoutdestroying them at very high resolution.We have studied the post-accretional effects,such as aqueous alteration inside theparent’s bodies or space weathering at thesurface of asteroids, on both the mineraland the organic components. In particular,we studied the correlations between the organicmaterials and the minerals observedin the sample, which is fundamental to understandthe origin and the evolution of theorganic matter.

Den här studien syftar till att synliggöra hur elevassistenter som arbetar hos elever med synnedsättning upplever sitt uppdrag och yrkesroll. Studien utgår från en fenomenologisk ansats och tidigare forskning. Studiens resultat grundar sig på elevassistentens berättelser om sina upplevelser och erfarenheter. Fenomenologin står fast vid att respondentens upplevelser och erfarenheter är det som är i fokus i studien. Studien har genomförts med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Respondenterna kontaktades av syncentralen eller fått information från specialpedagogiska skolmyndigheterna om studiens syfte och mål. Studien bygger på berättelser från fyra elevassistenter om deras upplevelser och erfarenheter kring uppdraget samt yrkesrollen. Resultatet visar på oklara förhållanden gällande elevassistentens uppdrag och yrkesroll i skolans verksamhet. Det framgår att elevassistenterna huvudsakligen arbetar med hjälpmedel, syntolkning eller lärarens arbetsuppgifter. I det framgår även att skolledningen behöver utveckla sin kunskap kring elevassistentens uppdrag och yrkesroll hos elever med synnedsättning. Fortbildning både efterfrågas och behövs inom hela denna verksamhet. / This study aims to highlight how student assistants working with students with visual impairment perceive their assignment and professional role. The study is based on a phenomenological approach and previous research. The study results are based on the student assistant's stories about their impressions and experiences. The phenomenology firmly holds that the respondent's impressions and experiences are in the focus of the study. The study was conducted with semi-structured interviews. The respondents were contacted by the vision center or received information from the special education school authorities about the purpose and objectives of the study. The study is based on stories from four student assistants about their impressions and experiences regarding the assignment and the professional role. The results show ambiguous relationships regarding student assistant assignments and professional role in school activities. It can be seen that the student assistants mainly work with aids, visual interpretation or the teacher's tasks. It is also evident that the school management needs to develop their knowledge regarding the assignment and the professional role of the student assistant for students with visual impairment and continuing education is needed throughout the operations.

Det finns många olika sätt att möta elevers olika behov och att använda sig av digitala verktyg i sin undervisning är ett sätt. Därför syftar studien till att undersöka hur några lärare och speciallärare beskriver att elever i behov av extra anpassningar arbetar med digitala verktyg för läs- och skrivutveckling i årskurserna 1–3. För att förstå hur och varför några lärare och speciallärare arbetar med elever i behov av extra anpassningar och deras läs- och skrivutveckling behöver olika frågor besvaras. Det är nödvändigt att undersöka digitala verktyg med avseende på för- och nackdelar, vilken effekt olika ramfaktorer får för arbetet samt på vilket sätt lärare och speciallärare arbetar med dem. För att uppfylla syftet med studien har kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts med tre lärare och tre speciallärare. Intervjuerna har genomförts i par eftersom lärare och speciallärare ofta jobbar tillsammans. Teoretisk utgångspunkt i studien är ramfaktorteorin och det sociokulturella perspektivets centrala delar om den proximala utvecklingszonen, scaffolding och artefakter. Efter en tematisk analys visar resultatet att respondenterna ser flest fördelar med digitala verktyg för att gynna elever i behov av extra anpassningar i deras läs- och skrivutveckling. Centralt i resultatet är att arbetet kräver digital kompetens och undervisning eftersom detta är ramfaktorer som får effekter på elevernas läs- och skrivutveckling. Vidare visar resultatet att talsyntes och Inläsningstjänst är betydande funktioner som lärarna och speciallärarna använder i sin undervisning med digitala verktyg. De fördelar med verktygen som resultatet visar är att de ger eleverna en ökad motivation och en ökad förförståelse. Slutligen visar resultatet att tekniska problem och en rädsla för avsaknad av analoga verktyg är de betydande nackdelarna med digitala verktyg. Avslutningsvis diskuteras studiens metod och resultat i förhållande till studiens syfte och teori. / There are various ways of meeting the various needs within a class and using digital tools is one of them. Therefore, the study aims to investigate how teachers and special needs teachers use digital tools together with to benefit their reading and writing development. To understand how and why teachers and special needs teachers work with pupils with special needs and their reading and writing development, different questions need to be answered. It ́s necessary to investigate the advantages and disadvantages found with digital tools, how frameworks factors affect the work with digital tools and how teachers and special needs teachers work. To fulfill the purpose of the study, qualitative interviews were carried out with three teachers and three special needs teachers. The interviews have been conducted in pairs because teachers and special needs teachers often work together. The theoretical starting point in the study is the framework factor theory and the central parts of the sociocultural perspective about the zone of proximal development, scaffolding and artefacts. After a thematic analysis, the results show that the respondents mostly see benefits of digital tools to benefit students in needs of extra adaptations in their reading and writing development. Central to the result is that the work requires digital competence, teaching since these are framework factors that have effects on pupils’ reading and writing development. The results also show that speech synthesis and a reading service are the significant functions in the tools which teachers and special needs teachers use in their teaching with digital tools. The advantages of the tools that the results show is that they give students an increased motivation and an increased pre-understanding. Finally, the results show that technical problems and a fear of lack of analog tools are the significant disadvantages of digital tools. Finally, the study’s method and the results are discussed in relation to the purpose of the study and the theory.

[pt] A presente pesquisa buscou compreender os sentidos sociais destes gastos extra-mensalidade na comunidade escolar, investigando também a existência ou não de estratégias para contornar possíveis situações de exclusão. Como referencial teórico principal recorremos ao conceito de special monies, de Zelizer; conceitos de Bourdieu, Lahire e Lareau também inspiram o trabalho. A opção metodológica foi por uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, ancorada em dois instrumentos: observação e entrevistas. O campo foi realizado em uma escola da zona oeste do Rio de Janeiro em 18 visitas de observação participante, focadas no primeiro segmento do Ensino Fundamental. Em seguida, foram realizadas entrevistas semiabertas com profissionais da escola e com famílias de crianças matriculadas no segmento em questão, de diferentes colégios. Foi possível perceber, na escola observada, a construção de hierarquias sociais baseadas em uma percepção pessoal do engajamento alheio. Nesse contexto, a disposição a realizar investimentos financeiros é lida como uma expressão do investimento emocional, tanto dos pais quanto das professoras. Os resultados apontam para a existência de um discurso generalizante que resulta em invisibilização das ausências de alunos que poderiam ser motivadas por impossibilidades financeiras e para o estabelecimento de um contrato implícito por parte da escola, que compreende que a opção por uma escola privada é, em última instância, a opção por uma educação privada. Assim, as mensalidades representariam apenas o valor mínimo mensal a ser investido, e gastos extras seriam, na verdade, previstos. Já por parte dos pais, o dinheiro destinado à educação de fato aparece como um special money, um valor que justifica esforços, e os dados indicam que os gastos mais incômodos seriam aqueles não respaldados por justificativas pedagógicas. / [en] This study seeks to understand the social meanings of expenses beyond tuition in the scholastic community, investigating the existence of strategies to address potentially exclusionary situations. Its main theoretical framework is Zelizer s concept of special monies; the analysis also draws inspiration from the ideas of Bourdieu, Lahire, and Laureau. The chosen methodology entailed a qualitative study anchored by two tools – observation and interviews – employed at a school in Rio de Janeiro s West Zone over the course of 18 visits as a participating observer, focused on elementary school. This stage was followed by semi-open interviews with school employees and the families of elementary schoolers from multiple schools. On-site observations revealed the construction of social hierarchies based on a personal perception of others engagement. For parents as well as teachers, willingness to make financial investments was read as an expression of emotional investment. Results indicate the existence of a broad discourse promoting the invisibility of potentially financially-motivated student absences and the establishment of an implicit contract on the part of the school, wherein opting to attend a private school ultimately means opting for a private education. Here, tuition is merely the minimum investment; additional expenses are in fact anticipated. For parents, funds spent on education emerge as a sort of special money that justifies extra sacrifices, and findings indicate that the most burdensome expenses are those without pedagogical justifications.
