Syftet med den här rapporten är att undersöka ifall PHP-ramverket CodeIgniter är ett lämpligt val för konstruktion av mindre webbplatser. För att besvara frågeställningen har jag konstruerat en webbplats i CodeIgniter åt företaget Östra hundskolan. Utifrån de erfarenheter jag fått när jag arbetat i CodeIgniter för jag ett resonemang kring fördelar och nackdelar jämfört med andra webbtekniker som mer traditionell webbprogrammering, CMS och andra PHP-ramverk. För att konstruera Östra hundskolans webbplats har jag tillsammans med deras ägare tagit fram en kravspecifikation som redogör för de funktioner och krav som finns. Utifrån kravspecifikationen har jag skapat en designspecifikation som sedan ligger som grund för implementeringen av webbplatsen. Webbplatsen är implementerad i CodeIgniter där många av dess inbyggda hjälpbibliotek har legat som underlag för webbplatsens funktioner. De slutsatser jag dragit efter att ha jobbat med CodeIgniter är att valet av verktyg måste anpassas utifrån många olika parametrar, exempelvis hur lång är projektettiden, vilka funktioner ska webbplatsen uppfylla, finns programmeringskunskaper, finns det ett krav på enkelt underhåll etcetera. Har utvecklaren programmeringskunskaper och det finns tid att sätta sig in i ramverket samtidigt som webbplatsen inte har några större krav på enkelt underhåll med mera är CodeIgniter ett väldigt lämpligt val att konstruera webbplatsen i. Ställs det däremot större krav på att webbplatsen ska vara lätt att underhålla och den har klara tydliga funktioner som exempelvis ett forum skulle jag nog fundera på att använda ett CMS. Detta på grund av att det är lättare att underhålla samt att det kan vara optimerat för en tyngre belastning.

Det här är till för att skapa ett system där andra webbutvecklare kunde skapa sina hemsidor online. Det webbutvecklaren inte behöver tänka på är att ha en egen webbserver, vilket kan vara ett problem för många om dom sitter vid datorer med begränsade rättigheter så att dom inte kan ladda ner och installera en webbserver. En annan bra fördel är att webbutvecklaren kan logga in vart som helst, när som helst och redigera koden till en hemsida. Skulle webbutvecklaren vilja ha sitt projekt på en egen webbserver, går det enkelt att ladda ner projektet.

Dyslexi är ett vanligt handikapp som inte alltid syns eller märks. På arbetsplatser och i skolan medför det däremot stora problem om inte rätt resurser och hjälpmedel sätts in. Det är viktigt att som dyslektiker få den hjälp som behövs för att övervinna problemen som funktionshindret medför. I de kvalitativa intervjuerna framkommer hur bemötandet spelar en stor roll för den enskildes självbild och självförtroende. För att kunna skapa en dräglig arbetsmiljö såväl i skolan som ute i arbetslivet krävs det att rätt insatser sätts in och det behövs mycket kunskaper och stor förståelse. Det övergripande syftet i denna studie är ta reda på hur dyslektiker blir bemötta samt hur de vill bli bemötta. Ytterligare ett syfte med mitt arbete är att skapa en hemsida för att synliggöra problematiken samt ge information om var man kan få hjälp och hur man kan hjälpa.I min studie framkom hur viktigt det är att i tidig ålder sätta in de resurser som behövs för att ge en positiv syn på lärandet och skapa lustfyllda lärandesituationer. Eleverna måste få ett positivt bemötande för att kunna utveckla sin självbild och använda sitt funktionshinder som en egenskap. Ett problem som kan uppkomma, när en hemsida för en ungdomstidning utvecklas, är att hemsidan förlorar kopplingen till tidningen. Tillslut är det bara namnet på webbplatsen som avslöjar att hemsida och tidning hör ihop.För att försöka ta fram ett svar på hur man kan sammanföra en ungdomstidning med sin hemsida och skapa helhet, kommer detta projekt gå på djupet hur detta kan göras med hjälp av musik- och ungdomstidningen OKEJ.Projektet och undersökningarna ledde fram till slutsatsen att det är viktigt att ta tillvara på den befintliga kompetens som tidningen redan har, i OKEJ:s fall kunskapen att skriva artiklar som engagerar målgruppen och OKEJ:s kontakter med kändisar.Projektet ledde fram till fyra råd, vilka kan användas som en startpunkt för andra som ska föra en ungdomstidning ut på internet.• Utnyttja befintlig kompetens, som i OKEJ:s fall är att skriva artiklar som engagerar målgruppen och sitt bredda kontaktnät med människor i musikindustrin.• Istället för att utveckla t.ex. en videotjänst från grunden, utnyttja redan befintliga system och tjänster. In the end, only the name of the website reveals that it is associated with the magazine. To try and work out an answer to how you can combine a youth magazine with its website, this project takes a closer look on how this could be done with the Swedish music-themed youth magazine OKEJ.The project and research led to the conclusion that it is important to take advantage of the competence around the magazine, like in OKEJ’s case the skill of writing articles that engage the target audience and OKEJ’s connections with celebrities.The project led to a bulleted list with four advices on how to combine a youth magazine with its website. • Take advantage of the competence around the magazine, like in OKEJ’s case the skill of writing articles that engage the target audience and OKEJ’s connections with people in the music industry.• Instead of developing for example a video service from scratch, take advantage of other already fully developed services like YouTube that a lot of users already are familiar with.• Build the website around the core of the magazine. <p>Litorapid Media AB is a printer and prepresscompany, located on Hisingen, Gothenburg. Litorapid is a relatively large company, and is therefore in great need of convenient contacts with becoming and present customers. Seeing that they work with the most rescent technique in the branch of printing, it is important that they market themselves in a modern way. The purpose with this project became, for that reason, to create a more contemporary home page for the company to catch new customers, as well as aninteractive presentation of the company to create a more personal contact with customers they alreay have. </p><p>The home page was created in the programme Macromedia Dreamweaver 4, and its design is based on previouly distributed brochures. The interface is very much adapted to please the user. The interactive presentation of the company is created in Macromedia Director 7 and is divided into three different divisions. One part where you can get practical information concerning how to hand in information to Litorapid, one which serves the purpose of giving the same information as the home page, and the last and largest part is a tour of the company in eight steps, where one can follow a printed matter being produced from start to finish. The material used is gathered at Litorapid’s office with a digital camera and a videorecorder. </p><p>The final result is a homepage and a presentation of the company, showing the activity of Litorapid in a appealing and personal way. Furthermore, it is easy for customers to find the information they need. The new hompage is modern, and the introduction helps to catch the eye of an Internet user. The interactive presentation of the company gives us more details of Litorapid’s activity and is entertaining as well as informative. With these two marketing products Litorapid is shown as a contemporary printer.</p>

<p>This thesis will show you how to build and construct a interactive website with a web shop and a web based administration system. The website is developed for a company called Varett. Varett will use the website to reach out for a larger group of customers and also for promoting new products. I have develop this site mainly using ASP, MS Access and HTML. </p><p>I have also developed a graphic profile for the company to use at the homepage and at other commercial products. You can find the current version of the website at http://www.varett.se.</p> / <p>Detta examensarbete visar hur man bygger upp och konstruerar en interaktiv hemsida med en webbshop och ett webbaserat administrationssystem. Hemsidan är utvecklad åt ett företag som heter Varett. Varett var i behov av en hemsida för att kunna nå ut till en större kundgrupp och för att kunna göra reklam för nya produkter de själva utvecklat. </p><p>Jag har utvecklat hemsidan mestadels med hjälp av ASP, MS Access och HTML.
