Sarzi Ribeiro / Resumo: Essa pesquisa apresenta um estudo sobre o ensino da arte através da imagem e suas proposições reflexivas referentes à sua produção e repercussão no contexto educacional e cultural. A partir de um estudo sobre a fotografia, como meio provocador crítico-sensível, ressalta-se a importância da compreensão de abordagens metodológicas que são propulsoras de reflexões, no processo ensino-aprendizagem das artes visuais. Também problematiza a questão de como o ensino, mediado pela imagem, pode gerar processos e produtos capazes de provocar a transformação do pensamento sobre a realidade tecnológica em que vivemos. Tem como objetivo evidenciar a relevância de um ensino de arte mediado pela imagem tecnológica tornando consciente os processos de acesso e produção midiática na sociedade contemporânea, promovendo a mediação tecnológica crítica a partir de um aprofundamento do conhecimento sobre as relações de produção artística mediado pela tecnologia. A metodologia desenvolvida foi o levantamento bibliográfico sobre os temas interdisciplinares, além da pesquisa participante e pesquisa-ação. Também foram utilizadas as abordagens metodológicas do Project Zero de Harvard, como o Teaching for Understanding e o Artful Thinking. A análise da coleta de dados foi realizada a partir do desenvolvimento do projeto educacional fotográfico, contendo aulas e práticas reflexivas e fotográficas, além de um questionário final, que resultou em um relato de experiência. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This research is a study about Arts teaching through image and its reflective propositions regarding its production and broadcast inside cultural and educational contexts. Analysis of photography as a provocative and critical sensitive medium highlights the importance of understanding methodological approaches that might trigger reflections in visual arts teaching and learning processes. It also problematizes the issue of how teaching through image might generate processes and products able to provoke transformation of thoughts about the technological reality we live in. It aims to put into evidence the relevance of art teaching process through technological images, bringing to consciousness the processes of access to media and its production in today’s society, promoting critical technological mediation triggered by deepening knowledge about the relations between artistic production and technology. The chosen methodology was bibliographic research about interdisciplinary themes, besides participative research and action research. Harvard’s Project Zero’s methodological approaches have also been used, such as Teaching for Understanding and Artful Thinking. Data analysis was collected from the educational project based on photography development, with lessons and reflective practices and also photography, besides a final survey, which resulted in a case report. A dissertação investiga a ação do diretor de teatro no âmbito da criação de imagens, e procura definir um conceito de imagem teatral tendo como modelo artístico e teórico, a fotografia. Em que medida a imagem teatral pode ser pensada a partir da imagem fotográfica? Como diferenciar cena e imagem no teatro? Visando responder a tais perguntas, o trabalho realiza um estudo conceitual das relações entre a fotografia e o teatro, recorrendo à literatura teórica das duas áreas, bem como, a textos psicanalíticos, dando especial atenção à estética da imagem construída, e à presença da encenação na produção fotográfica contemporânea. Além disso, examina o processo criativo de O problema do carteiro chinês, com o objetivo de discorrer e ponderar sobre os procedimentos de criação de uma peça totalmente baseada em imagens fotográficas, bem como, das relações entre teatro e fotografia observadas na prática. A partir do trânsito entre teoria e prática, realiza-se uma reflexão sobre o componente visual do espetáculo teatral na contemporaneidade. / This Master´s dissertation investigates the action of theater director within the scope of image creation, and seeks to define a concept of theatrical image based on the theoretical and artistic model of photography. To what extent the theatrical image can be considered from the photographic image? How to differentiate scene and image in the theater? In order to answer these questions, the work makes a conceptual study of the relationship between photography and theater, using the theoretical literature from both areas, as well as the psychoanalytic texts, giving special attention to the aesthetics of constructed image and the presence of the staging in contemporary photographic production. Furthermore, it examines the creative process of O problema do carteiro chinês (The chinese postman´s problem) in order to discuss and ponder the procedures for creating a play based entirely on photographic images, as well as the relationship between theater and photography observed in practice. From the transit between theory and practice, we reflect on the visual component of the contemporary theatrical spectacle.

Also analyzed are the ways of seeing of the youngsters that participated in the search and who live similar situations to those represented in the images. Initially, the methodology used to select the images from the newspaper s records is presented, and their classification by themes, expression and contents, is dealt with. A reading of the images was undertaken together with the adolescents who live in shelter houses as well as those circulating by the social work service. On the presupposition that the newspaper contributes to the building of the social imagery, we discuss the irruption of imagery in human nature and in the relation between the media and social representations. The presence of the imagery is pointed to in the journalistic production and reception regarding news and images, and also in the formulation of the social representations by the media. Further analyzed are the context of the photographic image production and its recurrent patterns based on themes and spatial and body attributes that impose meanings (visible or invisible) to the representations. Complementally, the youngsters interpretations of the newspaper images and the images they have of themselves are revealed / Esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar as imagens fotográficas de crianças e adolescentes em situação de risco, que foram veiculadas no jornal Folha de São Paulo, no período de 2007 a 2011, visando captar as representações que foram elaboradas pela mídia impressa sobre esse segmento social. São analisados também os olhares de adolescentes que participaram da pesquisa e que vivem situações semelhantes àquelas representadas nas imagens. Na parte inicial, está detalhada a metodologia utilizada para a seleção das imagens do acervo do jornal Folha de São Paulo, a forma de classificação delas, segundo temas e os segmentos de expressão e conteúdo, além do trabalho de leitura das imagens realizado com adolescentes, que moram em casa de acolhimento e outros que circulam pelo serviço de atendimento. Com base no pressuposto de que o jornal contribui para a constituição do imaginário social, discute-se a irrupção do imaginário na natureza humana e nas relações entre mídia e representações sociais. É uma análise baseada em reflexões da história cultural, que concebe a paisagem como uma invenção discursiva situada em contexto social específico. No exercício de análise das representações das paisagens nos discursos de viajantes estrangeiros, nos textos literários regionalistas e nas imagens fotográficas, que dão a ver “lugares” de Florianópolis e de seus arredores, manuseia-se com uma visualidade oficializada da paisagem, que serve, inclusive, à divulgação turística da Ilha na atualidade. / The present work is the result of new interpretations of the representations of landscapes of the Island of Santa Catarina, from the nineteenth century’s last decade until the twentieth century’s forties. It is an analysis based on thoughts from Cultural History, which sees the landscape as a discursive invention placed in a specific social context. By analysing the representations of landscapes in the discourses of foreign travelers, in literary texts and in regionalistic and photographic images, which represent "places" of Florianópolis and its surroundings, one can handle with an official visuality of the landscape, which also serves to the touristic advertisement of the Island nowadays.

To achieve this, I took as my research locus the subjects daily routine, where they produce knowledge and participate in reading and writing events, because I had found that few scientific studies in the academic literature consider the social practice as a suitable environment for training individuals for the world of literate culture. Photography was redefined, for the purpose of this work, as an instrument with which to collect data, and I recorded the different ways in which written material circulates within social spaces as well as the different ways young people, adults and elderly people read and write in their daily routine. In the modern age, individuals are often capable of reading the many languages that have become established in the world, but their participation in the graphocentric society is differenciated. Considering that the social practice mould individuals in the literate culture, I have chosen to investigate the expression of formative acts based on the concepts of availability, access, context and participation, in line with Kalmans study (2009).

In the contemporary scenario of the capitalistic Western societies, the flashes of media photographers coupled with legal and scientific hegemonic discursive productions, give light to the body of drug users. Production of photographic image of the infamous subject, provided body - drugged body that contrasts with the other clichés enunciator´s images of beautiful, healthy and perfect body to be consumed. From the web of clichés of contemporary images, this Master thesis was composed with other strands of this web imagery, in order to compose looks, bodies and becoming deviations with said subject infamous drugged bodies. Toward this goal, we conducted meetings with drug users and other residents of a municipality in the Recôncavo of Bahia. Encounters with drug users (crack, marijuana and alcohol) were guided by the proposed production of photographs taken by the user of drugs. The first steps of rapprochement with partners followed the direction: shooting from what was important in their lives, but in time, we deviate from the risk of the web of representation and not confrontational images, which could favor this proposal, and let us guided by other track tensioning of clichés images: producing images from the user´s own relationship with drugs. The body - stoned in the crosshairs of photography and ´look like´, current look / virtual. To follow the process of composition looks and experimentation of thought with partners this study, we invested in mapping as a method of intervention research. The technological feature of the camera founds carto(foto)grafia, subjectivity device, producing cracks in the lenses pointing stereotyped ways of producing and viewing pictures of drug users. In the composition of the theoretical, were affected by the traces of the thinking of philosophers of difference, Baruch Spinoza, Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, Michel Foucault, Friedrich Nietzsche and the like. / No cenário contemporâneo das sociedades capitalísticas ocidentais, flashs dos fotógrafos midiáticos, conjugados às produções discursivas hegemônicas jurídicas e científicas, dão luminosidade ao corpo de usuários de drogas. Produção de imagem fotográfica do sujeito infame, na condição de corpo-drogado, corpo que contrasta com as outras imagens clichês enunciadoras do corpo belo, saudável e perfeito para ser consumido. A partir da teia de imagens clichês do contemporâneo, esta pesquisa de mestrado se compôs com outros fios, outras imagens com o objetivo de compor olhares, corpos, desvios e devires com os ditos sujeitos infames, corpos drogados. Nesse sentido, realizamos encontros com usuários de drogas e outros moradores de um município do interior do recôncavo da Bahia. Os encontros com usuários de drogas (crack, maconha e álcool) foram guiados pela proposta de produção de fotografias realizadas pelos próprios usuários de drogas. Os primeiros passos de aproximação com os parceiros seguiram a direção de fotografar a partir do que era importante em suas vidas, mas em tempo, nos desviamos do risco da teia da representação e não confronto de imagens, que esta proposta poderia favorecer, e nos deixamos guiar por outra pista tensionadora das imagens clichês: produzir imagens fotográficas a partir da própria relação do usuário com as drogas. O corpo-drogado na mira da fotografia e do olhar de si , olhar atual/virtual. Para acompanhar o processo de composição de olhares e experimentação do pensamento com os parceiros deste estudo, investimos na cartografia como método de pesquisa-intervenção. Com o recurso tecnológico da câmera fotográfica, ensaiase a carto-fotografia, dispositivo de subjetivação, produtor de rachaduras nas lentes que apontam modos estereotipados de produzir e ver as imagens dos usuários de drogas. Na composição do corpo teórico, fomos afetados pelos traços do pensamento dos filósofos da diferença, Baruch Spinoza, Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, Michel Foucault, Friedrich Nietzsche e afins.
