In June 2004, fashion designer Jum Nakao presented a fashion show where, not worried on showing his commercial collection to buyers and press, caused emotion to all te present when asked, at the end of the show, to his models to tear in pieces their paper clothes on the runway. The fashion shows, very common nowadays, reflect the dynamic of fashion. The attention, the spectacle, the ephemerity and the image, are some of the elements that compose these shows. Studying fashion as a complex cultural phenomenon of the contemporary society lets us understand beyond the periodical changes on the clothes used by people on the streets or the models on the runways. Having the work of Jum Nakao as a reference, the objective of this paper is to watch the fashion show as a ritual that manifests simbolic actions, representing the vision of the designer's world, awakening the desire of the spectator and mixing the collective time to the individual time. While some authors suggest that ritual exists only in the simple societies, this work searches at the anthropology classic works of writers like Arnold Van Gennep and Victor Turner, for elements that caracterize the ritual and relates them to the fashion show, bringing it to the contemporary society. The objective of this thesis is to show the consumer perception about package images on ready and semi-ready meal products. Thereby to confirm what is the relation that the shopper drawns between the image from the package and the real contained in it, that is to say, the dish after have been prepared; also, what is the avaliation that the purchaser realize in front of the possible incoherent situation between the two universes, representation and real. It is evident that there is a strong aesthetic and appeal character used in the applied images of the packages by new media resources, which is established by manipulating and changing of the standart reality, just with the intention of gain more users. However in this fight among the market competition, are the consumers the only one to be damaged? Have the factories of these kind of productos and the professionals of the publicity field and designers for them been ethic to their costumers? What is the shoppers choice, an image shown with exaggeration or an optimized reality? These are some questions which constitute the body of this thesis, was made throught bibliographic raise and field investigation, which had the consumers and the professionals who work with publicity image as the focus. Porém nesta luta entre os concorrentes de mercado, será que o único a sair prejudicado desta relação é o próprio consumidor? Será que os fabricantes destes produtos e os profissionais da área de publicidade e design, estão sendo éticos com seu público? O que o consumidor prefere, uma imagem retratada com exacerbação, ou uma realidade otimizada? Estas são algumas das questões que constituem o cerne deste trabalho, que é realizado através de levantamento bibliográfico e de uma investigação de campo, a qual tem como foco os consumidores e os profissionais que trabalham com a imagem publicitária. The history of reading justifies its importance for accomplishing the writing culture on the occident. Some social and cognitive changes were caused by both the press and the alphabet. Therefore, reading and writing are inseparable and relevant for comprehending some social processes. Being it presential or distance education, these instruments are essential. The distance education program chosen for this investigation is the focus of a necessary discussion – Do material utilized on different support hold, on the student’s view, distinct importances and implications on building concepts of reading and on teaching and learning processes? This thesis evaluates reading, which is the base-instrument of study on distance education and, for such, it investigates its context – place where it occurs, historical moment and its agent – students and teachers who are readers of the text. The analysis consists of a theoretical framework in which the authors present Distance Education under diverse perspectives of technology and communication by a sociological trend; some important concepts about reading, reader, hyperreading and text support and, yet, the present theory regarding the hypertext. The challenge of this piece of research is to analyse and compare the utilization of didactic materials in distance education on printed and electronic versions in order to comprehend reading practices and to describe functionalities of the program in relation to language strategies that may develop/improve material and communication process. The case study methodology intended to examine how are the reading practices in the distance learning and the way how these practices interacts with the didactic materials developed for this modality of education. A análise terá como referencial teórico autores que apresentam a educação a distância sob perspectivas diversas, pelo viés sociológico, da tecnologia e da comunicação; alguns conceitos importantes sobre leitura, leitor, hiperleitura e suporte de texto e, ainda, apresenta teoria a respeito do hipertexto. O desafio desta pesquisa é analisar e comparar a utilização dos materiais didáticos em EAD, nas versões impressas e eletrônica, para compreender as práticas de leitura e descrever funcionalidades do programa em relação às estratégias de linguagem que possam incrementar/melhorar os materiais e o processo de comunicação. Pela metodologia de estudo de caso buscou-se apurar como são as práticas de leitura no estudo a distância e a forma como se interage com os materiais didáticos desenvolvidos para esta modalidade de ensino. A comparação entre os textos impresso e eletrônico poderá subsidiar futuras implementações nos materiais didáticos da educação a distância, pois oportunizará à equipe pedagógica, responsável por estes materiais, uma comparação sistemática qualitativa, que apontará alguns caminhos para resolução de problemas destes dois suportes de texto

The purpose of this study of the terms and statements used on the game of gamble is to show, with the "ludic", what involves the production of the enunciation: presupposition, intention, belief, representation, adhesion, the power of changing interpretations and actions of the speaker. I focus changes and effects on the sense, creation and semantic evolution associating to terms utilizes in this game, terms that cause mythic and linguistic worlds to melt. The practice of this enunciation, the game inside the game, makes the symbolical processes become able to be used within the match and the such expected victory, with the subordination of the adversary, not only with the manual ability and aim, but also with the capability, the power of regulating the behavior by using the speech. Writing pervades human history, from rupestrian inscriptions to internet. Although supports change – walls, papyrus, parchments, tiles, papers, computer monitors – there remains a register, which transports human being beyond its own existence and which, precisely, renders it existing. In this thesis, I argue that restroom graffiti, apocryphal and ephemeral by their nature, are a link of the chain that identifies human being as the one who is capable of writing. It is an entity that can be figured out through its marks. Without aiming to interpret inscriptions, I restrict myself to observing that a great amount of impressions prefer to be revealed on the subversive support of the cell defined by the restroom door. Sem buscar interpretar as inscrições, atenho-me a observar que uma extensa quantidade de impressões prefere ser revelada no suporte subversivo da célula que a porta de banheiro encerra. E que a liberdade desta mesma porta de aparecer anônima se mantém quando seus conteúdos são transportados para a internet, para as salas de bate-papo.

This work has the intention to show that the history of fashion is made by ruptures or revolutions. The beginning of the fashion field occurs with the birth of the haut couture, and, in a period of hundred years, it will be constituted in a stylistic matrix which is composed by the paradigms of haut couture and prêt-à-porter. Through the analysis of the images, it will be demonstrated that the revolutionary changes in fashion, as a language, reflect the revolutions of the historic context, specifying the social role of the woman. This dissertation had as objective to analyse the maternal speech present on the book "Mãe me ensina a conversar: vencendo o autismo com amor", of Dalva Tabachi, relating it to authorship and Jouissance concepts. Fragments of the book were used for this purpose, then, based on the mother's speech, be able to operate the gestures of analisys. The analisys were based on the Michel Foucault's discursive theories and the French Speech Analysis, as well as, the psychoanalisys of Freud and Lacan. On the research, it is possible to identify marks that make part of a Maternal Discourse before the possibility of diagnosis of an autistic son. From these marks, a mother was identified who writes a book while authorizing herself, even if in a precariously way, in the maternal function. Para isso foram retirados fragmentos de trechos do livro, de modo que, a partir das marcas das falas da mãe, pudéssemos operar os gestos de análise. A análise realizada se deu a partir das teorias de Michel Foucault e de Michel Pêucheux- Análise de Discurso de linha francesa, assim como da teoria psicanalítica, de Freud e Lacan. No decorrer da pesquisa, foi possível identificar marcas que constituem um Discurso Materno diante da possibilidade de diagnóstico de um filho autista. A partir dessas marcas, identificamos uma mãe que escreve um livro ao mesmo tempo em que se autoriza, mesmo que precariamente, para a função materna. Uma mãe que no discurso contido no livro, se coloca como uma “super mãe”, ao mesmo tempo que não dá condições suficientes para que o sujeito possa se constituir.

The present work proposes to analyze language in the production of discourse while attitude of denial toward the values scattered by the late capitalism. For this purpose, the work chooses to analyze one of the several ways to produce resistance that tries to subvert the logic of consumption. In this study, we opted for analyzing the audiovisual materials produced in a cineclubbist environment. This moment is understood as being the greatest and totally spread expression of the late capitalism in an advanced stage of the accumulation process, where the capital turns into image. The consumption and the spectacle will be seen as the main generators of tension, anguish and way of social domination and manipulation, being this way one of the points in which we imagine to find resistance or subversive postures. In this direction, we bo rds conceptualy the Cinema in two theories: one, like an element from real production, codificated like a Language accord Christian Metz or; Pasolini sugests a semiology that trancends the cinematographic theory and proposes a comprehension of own reality – comprehension that the Cinema is an excellence model. The objectiv of this investigation is realise an analisys accords a model of saussurean struturalist language that was presented by Metz, and from the David Lynch films, in special the film Eraserhead (1967). Some characteristcs of narrative styles of this director, approach to the Poetry Cinema, while Contemporary Language, elaborated by Pasolini. In this analysis emphasis a similarity between Poetry Cinema and a delirius conception, from Michel Fouc ault. Identificar principalmente o cinema na sua natureza lingüística e semiológica, ou seja, cinema como língua ou linguagem, e como ele estrutura sua narrativa dentro do modelo clássico e das vangua rdas do séc. XX. Nesse sentido, aborda -se conceitualmente o cinema a partir de duas teorias distintas: uma teoria, como elemento de reprodução do real, codificado, portanto, linguagem, conforme Christian Metz, outra teoria, como sugere Pasolini, uma Semiologia que transcende a idéia semiológica habitualmente relacionada à teoria cinematográfica, e se propõe a uma compreensão da própria realidade - compreensão para a qual o cinema será tomado como modelo por excelência. O objetivo desta investigação é realizar uma análise, conforme um modelo de linguagem estruturalista saussureana, aqui apresentado por Metz , a partir dos filmes de David Linch, em especial o filme Eraserhead (1967). Abordando alguns traços que caracterizam o estilo de narrativa do diretor, o qual se aproxima de um “cinema de poesia”, enquanto linguagem, elaborado por Pasolini. Nesta análise, enfatiza -se a similaridade entre este “cinema de poesia” e a concepção de delírio, a partir de Michel Foulcalt. A pesquisa pretende contribuir com a possibilidade de normatização de um modelo de linguagem delirante e contemporânea apresentada nos filmes de Linch, em específico, o filme Eraserhead
