Motives are the stimuli of activity, related with meeting individual’s requirements. Sphere of motives for each sportsman varies considerably: their composition, hierarchy, intensity and stability are different. Many factors have influence for the stability and intensity of motivation: social life, purposeful upbringing of the maturating sportsman’s personality. Motivation is the specific state of sportsman’s personality, which shapes itself as an outcome of intercourse between one’s needs and possibilities with the results of sport activity. The aim of the research was to study and compare the motives of sports activities of high and low mastership basketball players and athletes (women). The methods of the research: 1. The study and analysis of literary sources. 2. Questionnaire. 3. Mathematical statistics. The subjects and the organization of the research. The research using the method of questionnaires was carried out in 2004-2005. The subjects consisted of high and low mastership basketball players and athletes(women). The subjects included 83 sportsmen. The subjects were to fill in the standardized F. Herzberg’s questionnaire consisting of 56 questions aimed at establishing the following eight motives of activities: financial, recognition and gratitude, responsibility, relations with chief, career, achievements, nature of activities, and cooperation. Trabalho docente, capital e estado: crítica de interpretações sobre o magistério no Brasil. / Teaching work, capital and state: criticism of interpretations on the mastership in Brazil.

O problema que esta pesquisa coloca é se as análises mais correntes acerca do trabalho docente oferecem uma base adequada para a compreensão da realidade de profissionais do ensino. A hipótese central é que aquelas análises, realizadas sobre determinados aspectos da prática educativa e da relação com a sociedade, em geral não encaram de maneira profunda as contradições do Estado e das relações sociais capitalistas e suas implicações para a interpretação do trabalho docente. São análises que se dividem entre as que priorizam os aspectos de proletarização, de gênero e de saberes profissionais. O exame das vicissitudes de tais perspectivas foi feito por meio do estudo dos artigos publicados em dois periódicos educacionais de circulação nacional: a revista Educação & Sociedade e a revista Cadernos de Pesquisa. O estudo mostrou que aquelas análises se moldam em função do contexto político e social e de uma imagem pública do professorado, dependentes de alterações recentes na forma de gestão do Estado. A análise crítica de algumas daquelas abordagens, a partir da teoria marxiana do capital enquanto relação social, permitiu introduzir aspectos da dinâmica de reprodução do capital e, especificamente, da forma-Estado. Mediante a mobilização de conceitos como o de trabalho abstrato e trabalho concreto, de trabalho produtivo e improdutivo, de serviços, de trabalho imaterial, de subsunção formal e real do trabalho ao capital, dentre outros, desenvolveu-se a crítica dos debates travados no campo educacional brasileiro, com a qual se pode compreender o próprio trabalho docente. Com isso, a hipótese levantada se mostrou verdadeira, pois, as análises examinadas se revelaram limitadas a apreensões conjunturais, desconsiderando determinações fundamentais do trabalho docente que resultam de um processo histórico vinculado ao desenvolvimento da forma-escola e à subordinação do trabalho docente ao Estado. / The problem that this research raises is whether the most current analysis on the teaching work offer an adequate basis for the understanding of the reality of the teaching professionals. The central hypothesis is that those analysis, conducted on certain aspects of the educational practice and its relationship with society, in general, do not face in a deep manner the contradictions of the State and the capitalist social relations and their implications for the interpretation of the teaching work. They are analyses that are divided among those that prioritize the aspects of proletarization, gender and professional knowledge. The examination of the vicissitudes of such prospects was done through the study of articles published in two educational cientific magazines of national circulation: the Education & Society and Research\'s Notebooks magazines. This study showed that those analysis are shaped according to the social and political context and to a public image of the teachers, dependents of recent alterations in the way of managing the State. A critical analysis of some of those approaches, based on the Marxian theory of the capital as a social relation, enabled to introduce aspects of the dynamics of capital\'s reproduction and, specifically, of the State-form. Through the mobilization of concepts such as abstract work and concrete work, productive and unproductive work, services, immaterial work, formal and real subsuntion of labour to capital, among others, it has developed a critique of the debates carried on in the Brazilian\'s educational field, with which it is possible to understand the teaching work itself. Thus, the hypothesis raised was revealed to be true, since the examined analysis proved to be limited to conjunctural apprehensions, disregarding essentials determinations of the teaching work that result of a historic process linked to the development of school-form and the subordination of the teaching work to the State.

Manqala games are played in large parts of Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, South-America and some parts of Europe. Bao is the variation which is found on the East African coast, and only in the Swahili speaking areas. Ways of playing Bao though differ along the coast, and de Voogt focused his research on the sophisticated variant of Zanzibar. The author deals with this Zanzibar variation of Bao in analogy to chess. The first aim of his research project was to find out what distinguishes a master of Bao from an ordinary player. Psychological methods, derived from the study of chess playing are his main methodological instruments, which make the book a remarkable study in the psychology of players, and the role of memory and calculation. His second aim is to introduce Bao to the field of computer games, comparable to computer-based chess.

Šis darbas yra skirtas aukšto meistriškumo bėgikės rengimosi 2003 metų besirengiančios pagrindiniams metų startams analizei. Treneriai, sportininkai ir mokslininkai vis dar ieško efektyvesnių priemonių ir metodų, tobulinant treniruočių metodiką. Sporto mokslo atstovai, sporto edukologai turėtų daugiau dėmesio skirti į aukšto meistriškumo sportininkų pasirengimo technologijų naujumą, jų tobulinimą. Tyrimo tikslas: išanalizuoti vidutinių nuotolių bėgikės, besirengiančios pagrindiniams metų startams, metinį ugdymo(si) modelį. Uždaviniai: 1. išanalizuoti didelio meistriškumo bėgikių ugdymo tendencijas; nustatyti bėgikės pratybų kryptingumo kitimą bei turinio formavimo ypatumus metinio rengimo struktūroje; atskleisti bėgikės ugdymo mikrociklų formavimo tendencijas, atsižvelgiant į rengimo uždavinius; išanalizuoti bėgikės rengimo metodų kitimo tendencijas. Darbe yra išanalizuota vidutinių nuotolių didelio meistriškumo bėgikės besirengiančios pagrindiniams metų startams metinio treniruotės ciklo struktūra ir treniruotės proceso optimizavimas. Pateiktos įvairaus kryptingumo fizinio krūvio reikšmės, į kurias turėtų orientuotis specialistai, rengiantys sportininkus svarbiausiems startams. 2002 – 2003 metų treniruočių cikle R.D geriausią sportinę formą įgijo svarbiausiuose metų startuose. The delegates of sport edukation should pay more atention to the novelty of technologics and their development. The aim of the research is to analyse the annual training model. The objects are:to analyse training tendencies of great mastership runners; to ascertain a runner’s chauge of practical training perposefulness and peculiarities of content formation in the structure of an annual preparation;to disclose the tendencies of formation of runner training microcycles taking into account a runner‘s preparation tasks in his state;to analyse the tendencies of change of runner‘s preparation of methods. Kiekviena sporto šaka, kiekviena rungtis turi savo specifinius, išskirtinius komponentus, požymius, bruožus, kurie atskleidžia tikrąją vienos ar kitos sporto šakos, rungties prigimtį ir galimybes (Karoblis, 2002; Stonkus, 2000). Nesant tyrimų ir jų išvadų, kokiais būdais veiksmingai ugdyti žolės riedulininkių sportinį meistriškumą kyla svarbi mokslinė problema: Kokie pagrindinai veiksniai determinuoja žolės riedulininkių sportinį meistriškumą? Darbe formuluojama tyrimo hipotezė, kad žolės riedulininkių sportinį meistriškumą reikšmingai determinuoja kelios veiksnių grupės. Pirma grupė – pagrindinių fizinių ypatybių (greitumo, jėgos, ištvermės) lygis. Antra grupė – techniniai-žaidybiniai gebėjimai. Trečia grupė – pagrindin��s asmenybės psichinės ypatybės: labiausiai dėmesio apimtis bei motyvacija sportui ir aukštų rezultatų siekimas. Tyrimo tikslas – teoriškai pagrįsti ir empiriškai ištirti žolės riedulininkių sportinį meistriškumą determinuojančius veiksnius. In what way the mastership of sportswomen of field hockey should be trained as there are no any analyses or conclusions. The important scientific problem arises: what are the main factors determining sport mastership of sportswomen of field hockey? The research hypothesis, that several groups of factors determine the mastership of sportswomen of field hockey, is formulated in the work. The first group – the level of the main physical qualities (velocity, power, toughness). The second group – technical-playing abilities. The third group – main personal psychic features: mostly the comprehension of attention, motivation to sports and the ambition of high results. The aim of the work is to justify theoretically and examine empirically the factors determining sport mastership of sportswomen of field hockey. Didelio meistrškumo maratono bėgikų treniruotės ypatumai / Features of high mastership marathon runners training

Kiekviena sporto šaka turi savo specifinius komponentus, kurie atskleidžia tikrąsias vienos ar kitos sporto šakos ar rungties galimybes (Karoblis, 2005). Nustatyta, kad didelio meistriškumo maratono bėgikų ugdymas priklauso nuo daugelio veiksnių, iš kurių svarbiausias yra treniruotės vyksmo kryptingumas, jo valdymas, atsižvelgiant į sportininko organizmo adaptacijos prie treniruočių ir varžybų krūvių individualus ypatumas (Skernevičius, 1997; Milašius, 1997; Астранд, 1994). Didelio meistriškumo bėgikai į metus ruošiasi dviems maratonams. Todėl treniruočių proceso valdymas yra vienas iš sudėtingesnių. Tyrimo objektas: maratono bėgikų treniruotės ypatumai. Tyrimo tikslas: išanalizuoti Lietuvos didelio meistriškumo maratono bėgikų treniruotės ypatumus. Tiriamieji: daugiakartinis Lietuvos ilgųjų nuotolių bėgimo čempionas Marius Diliūnas, pasiekęs 15-ą maratono bėgimo rezultatą šalyje ir daugiakartinis ilgų distancijų bėgimo rungčių Lietuvos prizininkas Kęstutis Jankūnas, pasiekęs 20-ą maratono bėgimo rezultatą šalyje. Analizuojant sportininkų treniruočių planus (sportininko dienynus), trenerio pildomą krūvio apskaitos žurnalą buvo kreipiamas dėmesys į treniruočių krūvių intensyvumą, sportininkų pulso rodmenis. Mokslinių šaltinių studija parodė, kad ugdant ištvermę, svarbu pasirinkti tinkamą pratimų intensyvumą pagal planuojamą maratono rezultatą. / Each sports branch has its own specific components revealing true capacities of different sports branches or events (Karoblis, 2005). It has been found out that development of high performance marathon runners depends on many factors including the most important ones: purpose of the training proceeding, its control with regard to individual features of sportsman’s organism’s adaptation to training and race loads (Skernevičius, 1997; Milašius, 1997; Астранд, 1994). High performance runners are prepared for two marathons in a year. Therefore, control of the training process is one of the most complex. The research object: features of marathon runners’ training. The research aim: to analyse features of training of Lithuanian high mastership marathon runners. The surveyed: a many-times champion of long distance run in Lithuania, Marius Diliūnas, who has achieved the 15th result in marathon run in the country, and a prize winner of long distance run in Lithuania, Kęstutis Jankūnas, who has achieved the 20th result in marathon run in the country. When analysing plans of sportsmen training (sportsmen’s journals), the journal of trainer’s additional load accounting, attention was paid to intensity of training loads, indices of sportsmen’s pulse. The survey of scientific sources suggests that, when developing endurance, it is important to choose a proper intensity of exercises according to the planned result in marathon.

Esta pesquisa apresenta e discute a legislação concernente ao trabalho docente da rede estadual de ensino de São Paulo, no período de 1995 a 2014, com o objetivo de analisar o (s) tipo(s) de profissionalismo docente que se configura(m) por meio das normativas produzidas por parte do Executivo paulista. Objetiva-se mais especificamente caracterizar as alterações realizadas, pelos governos desse período, nos dispositivos referentes à situação funcional dos docentes do Estado de São Paulo, tomando como base as duas principais normativas que regem o seu trabalho: a Lei Complementar nº444/1985, que dispõe sobre o Estatuto do Magistério Paulista e a Lei Complementar nº 836/1997, que institui Plano de Carreira, Vencimentos e Salários para os integrantes do Quadro do Magistério da Secretaria da Educação. Pretende-se, assim, investigar a natureza e os elementos do profissionalismo docente presentes nos documentos e normativas produzidos pela administração estadual, levando-se em conta as justificativas e considerações dos governos para a criação ou alteração destas diretrizes. Tendo como referencial teórico nuclear os trabalhos de Sachs (2015), Normand (2015), Evans (2011) e Evetts (2009), esta pesquisa apoia-se em estudo bibliográfico e documental e se orienta pelas seguintes questões: Qual a atuação estatal na conformação do profissionalismo docente? Quais os elementos utilizados pelas diferentes gestões em vigor no período privilegiado aqui para tanto? Os dados apontam para dois processos que caracterizam a tentativa dos governos paulistas em moldar o profissionalismo docente, de forma que os professores se adequem às diretrizes do Estado: um, a curto prazo, de introdução de novos elementos, como a promoção na carreira com base em avaliação de desempenho, que tentam adequar a carreira e demais normativas aos princípios de uma administração específica e outro, a longo prazo, com mecanismos sendo introduzidos de forma gradual, como as políticas de bonificação, que acabam sendo adaptados ao longo do período mas que atuam na direção do Estado moldar o profissionalismo docente. Considera-se que a atuação estatal na legislação que rege a vida profissional dos docentes traz grandes desafios para a profissão docente, pois questiona os valores e conhecimentos da profissão em nome da adequação dos docentes e suas práticas às diretrizes governamentais, implementadas em nome de uma maior eficácia do sistema educacional paulista. / This research presents and discusses the legislation concerning the teacher work in the São Paulo States public system of education, in the period from 1995 to 2014, with the objective of analyzing the type(s) of teacher professionalism thats configured through the laws produced by the São Paulos Executive. More specifically, it aims to characterize the changes, made by the governments of that period, at the devices referring to the São Paulos teachers functional situation, taking as basis, the two main norms that rule their work: the Complementary Law nº444/1985, which inclines about the Statute of the Magisterium of São Paulos Public System of Education and the Complementary Law nº 836/1997, establishing Career Path, Salaries and Fees for the Board of the Magisterium of the Secretariat of Education members. Its intended, on this way, to analyze the nature and elements of teacher professionalism present in the documents and regulations produced by the state administration, taking into the justifications and considerations of governments for the creation or modification of these guidelines. Taking as nuclear theoretical reference works of Sachs (2015), Normand (2015) Evans (2011) and Evetts (2009), this research is supported by a bibliographical and documentary study and is guided by the following questions: What is the state\'s role in the conformation on teacher professionalism? What elements are used by the different administrations in force in the period privileged here for that? The data points to two processes that characterize the attempt of the São Paulo governments to shape teacher professionalism, in the way that the teachers suit to the guidelines of the State: one, in the short term, to introduce new elements, such as Career Promotion based on performance evaluation, who try to adapt the career and other regulations to the principles of a specific administration and another, a long-term, with mechanisms being introduced gradually, such as bonus policies, that ends up being adapted throughout the period but act in the direction of the State to mold the teacher professionalism. Its considered that the state action in the legislation that governs the teachers professional presents great challenges for the teaching profession, because puts in question the professions values and knowledge in the name of the teachers adequacy and their practices to the governmental guidelines, implemented in the name of greater effectiveness of the educational system of São Paulo.

Os dados apontam para dois processos que caracterizam a tentativa dos governos paulistas em moldar o profissionalismo docente, de forma que os professores se adequem às diretrizes do Estado: um, a curto prazo, de introdução de novos elementos, como a promoção na carreira com base em avaliação de desempenho, que tentam adequar a carreira e demais normativas aos princípios de uma administração específica e outro, a longo prazo, com mecanismos sendo introduzidos de forma gradual, como as políticas de bonificação, que acabam sendo adaptados ao longo do período mas que atuam na direção do Estado moldar o profissionalismo docente. Considera-se que a atuação estatal na legislação que rege a vida profissional dos docentes traz grandes desafios para a profissão docente, pois questiona os valores e conhecimentos da profissão em nome da adequação dos docentes e suas práticas às diretrizes governamentais, implementadas em nome de uma maior eficácia do sistema educacional paulista. / This research presents and discusses the legislation concerning the teacher work in the São Paulo States public system of education, in the period from 1995 to 2014, with the objective of analyzing the type(s) of teacher professionalism thats configured through the laws produced by the São Paulos Executive. More specifically, it aims to characterize the changes, made by the governments of that period, at the devices referring to the São Paulos teachers functional situation, taking as basis, the two main norms that rule their work: the Complementary Law nº444/1985, which inclines about the Statute of the Magisterium of São Paulos Public System of Education and the Complementary Law nº 836/1997, establishing Career Path, Salaries and Fees for the Board of the Magisterium of the Secretariat of Education members. Its intended, on this way, to analyze the nature and elements of teacher professionalism present in the documents and regulations produced by the state administration, taking into the justifications and considerations of governments for the creation or modification of these guidelines. Taking as nuclear theoretical reference works of Sachs (2015), Normand (2015) Evans (2011) and Evetts (2009), this research is supported by a bibliographical and documentary study and is guided by the following questions: What is the state\'s role in the conformation on teacher professionalism? What elements are used by the different administrations in force in the period privileged here for that? The data points to two processes that characterize the attempt of the São Paulo governments to shape teacher professionalism, in the way that the teachers suit to the guidelines of the State: one, in the short term, to introduce new elements, such as Career Promotion based on performance evaluation, who try to adapt the career and other regulations to the principles of a specific administration and another, a long-term, with mechanisms being introduced gradually, such as bonus policies, that ends up being adapted throughout the period but act in the direction of the State to mold the teacher professionalism. Its considered that the state action in the legislation that governs the teachers professional presents great challenges for the teaching profession, because puts in question the professions values and knowledge in the name of the teachers adequacy and their practices to the governmental guidelines, implemented in the name of greater effectiveness of the educational system of São Paulo.

[pt] A Fé em ação: o magistério social de João Paulo II em seus pronunciamentos ao Brasil. Esta tese de doutorado, em Teologia Sistemático- Pastoral, consiste em um estudo sobre o pensamento social da Igreja Católica. O objeto material, aqui analisado, é o conjunto das palavras pronunciadas pelo Papa por ocasião de suas três visitas pastorais ao território brasileiro, e por ocasião de quatro visitas ad limina apostolorum dos Bispos do Brasil, a Roma. A tese, em seu todo, esclarece sobre os porquês da ação cristã no mundo, sobre as diretrizes religiosas e éticas dessa ação, sobre o perigo das ideologias assumirem o lugar da teologia, e sobre os princípios que servem para orientar o modo de agir dos crentes e não crentes. Os eixos e a dimensão, ao redor dos quais se estabelece a sistematização do magistério social de João Paulo II ao Brasil, são os eixos cristológico e antropológico, e a dimensão sócio-transformadora. No eixo cristológico, sobressai a dimensão escatológica da compreensão e dos objetivos do agir cristão no mundo. No eixo antropológico, ressaltam-se, a partir de uma antropologia cristã, os princípios éticos fundamentais da ação cristã na ordem temporal. Na dimensão sócio-transformadora, distinguem-se, à luz da escatologia e da ética, as diretrizes do comprometimento específico de cada vocacionado à vida social. / [en] Faith in action: John Paul II’s social mastership in his pronouncements to Brazil. This doctorate thesis in Systematic-Pastoral Theology consists in a study about the social thought of the Catholic Church. The physical object here analyzed is the conjunct of words uttered by the Pope John Paul II on the occasion of his three pastoral visits to the Brazilian territory, and on the occasion of four ad limina apostolorum visits of the Bishops of Brazil to Rome. The thesis in its whole clears up about the reasons of the Christian action in the world, about the religious and ethical directives of that action, about the danger of the ideologies to take on the place of Theology, and about the principles that serve to direct believers and non-believers’ way of to act. The axis and the dimension around which establishes John Paul II’s social mastership systematization to Brazil are the Christological and anthropological axis, and the social-transformer dimension. In the Christological axis stands out the scatological dimension of the understanding and of the aims of the Christian action in the world. In the anthropologic axis stand out, starting from a Christian Anthropology, the ethical basic principles of the Christian action in the worldly order. In the socialtransformer dimension stand out, by the light of scatology and of the Christian ethics, the directives of the specific compromise of every person called to the social life.
