Vliv Instrumentálního obohacování Reuvena Feuersteina na rozvoj kognitivních schopností dětí / Influence of Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment on the development of children cognitive abilities

Pokorná, Daniela January 2013 (has links)
In the theoretical part, this work deals with the problem of comparison between Feuerstein cognitive function and partial cognitive abilities which are mentioned at the Educational Interpretations of the WISC-III. Research study follows up changes in partial cognitive abilities which could be viewed as a consequence of FIE (Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment) intervention lasting several months. By comparison of pre-test and post-test, which is realized by WISC-III and processed with Educational Interpretations of the WISC- III the study tries to describe impact of the method to child's cognitive functions as well as its school successfulness, self-concept, and behavior. Study also pursues possibility to use factor analysis of WISC-III for planning of the FIE intervention. Information was taken from tests, questionnaires for teachers, videos and records of FIE lessons. Research was realized at the Elementary school in a small town with 1700 inhabitants, nearby to Prague. This was the only school in this town. We noticed more or less significant changes in all areas of interest. In some cases, there was agreement in the test results and teacher's evaluation whereas in other there were differences. KEY WORDS Reuven Feuerstein, modifiability of intelligence, deficits of cognitive functions, mediated...

Zkušenost zprostředkovaného učení v interakcích rodičů a dětí / Mediation learning experience within parents - children interactions

Šinkner, Filip January 2019 (has links)
This thesis presents a draft of a diagnostic tool, intented to use to analyze mediated learning experience ("MLE") in the interactions of parents and school aged children. The first chapter deals with historical roots of MLE and theoretical concepts, which inspired Reuver Feuerstein, author of MLE. Next chapters of the thesis are giving insight to MLE parameters and connecting the parameters to the contemporary knowledge from psychological practice. The thesis is also focused on MISC approach, created by Pnina Klein, which hasn't been described yet in the czech psychological literature, even though it is based on MLE and it is commonly used in foreign research and interventional programmes. The thesis describes the structure of MLE and possibilities of it's uses. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis, methods, based on MLE theory, used in the Czech republic, are described. Contemporary methods of analyzing interactions of parents and children are also mentioned. Research project of the thesis was focused on designing a draft of a specific form of a diagnostic tool Observed Interactions of Mediated Learning Experience (Pozorované Interakce Zkušenosti Zprostředkovaného Učení - "PIZZU"). It's contents and graphic form was created in cooperation with pedagogues and psychologists. Creating PIZZU...

Dynamická diagnostika u dětí s ADHD / Dynamic assessement of childern with ADHD

Bulínová, Soňa January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with topics of Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and dynamic assessment. The first section briefly characterizes ADHD and it provides an overview of studies on interventions for ADHD pupils in school settings. Specifically, the effect of incentive therapy and daily report cards, adjustments in the school environment and during the lessons, and finally the intervention supporting the development of homework, planning and organizational skills are discussed. The next part of the theory focuses on dynamic assessment and its use in identifying the learning potential of pupils with special educational needs, learning and social disadvantage, or gifted pupils. The empirical part verifies the use of dynamic assessment in pupils with ADHD. The aim was to evaluate the effect of the mediation phase on performance in the posttest of The Seria- Think Instrument among pupils with ADHD. As a result, pupils with ADHD improved their posttest performance. The benefit of the mediation phase in this research was observed in reducing the number of insertions of wooden sticks into the wholes, in changing the problém solving strategy, and in shortening the time of tasks performance. Keywords: ADHD, dynamic assessment, intervention, The Seria-Think Instrument, Tzuriel, mediation phase,...

Rodriguez, Rita de Cassia Morem Cossio January 2006 (has links)
The phrase, Asperger's Syndrome, is employed to describe a moderate outlook in the autistical spectrum, inserted within the so-called Pervasive Development Disorders. The main symptoms shown are, subject's trouble with neologism handling; singsong speech; restricted communication functions; absence of situational metaphorization; fantasy limitation; marked preference for familiar environments, such as home, personal assets, and daily situations; lack of motor coordination; poor social interactions; rigidity in personal demeanor; lack of responsive organization before unexpected events; awkwardness in interpersonal relationships; and reserved intelligence turned toward specific choice areas. This can be faced as a new disturbance type [as from the viewpoint of organized studies] within the Development Disorders, as it was so designated only for the last fifteen years and also by its being entered into the MHD [Mental Health Disorders] index in 1994 alone. The herein enclosed thesis presents as its main goals, the understanding of the autistical universe [Asperger's Syndrome], as handled by the establishment of relationships between the psychopaedagogical clinical procedures and the paedagogical praxis; the analysis of schooling, learning, and teaching processes as applied to subjects presenting Asperger's Syndrome, along with a reflexive assessment of such proposals that as referred as socially inclusive and the teachers' siding before diversity. To attain same, the survey was developed from the evaluation of four case studies on psychopaedagogical care of as many subjects, from which theoretical resources and analytical categorization departed and were organized. The psychoanalysis/psychopaedagogical clinical procedures/paedagogical praxis interfaces will be justified through the listening, comprehension, and possibility-building within those three dimension in which the acting was re-staged: the subject-oriented dimension, in the life space subjectivation, identification, and creation that are meant to render feasible their insertion within a cultural environment and the setting-up of their own place within the world at large; the family-oriented dimension, inasmuch as the identifying matrices are taken up anew; and the teacher-oriented dimension, as it might be pertinent for the understanding of unconscious life processes and the creation of signification areas for themselves and the students both. All the mentioned propositions will present themselves as immersed throughout the work development as well as being detailed in each case study depiction, in which developed strategies and outstanding analyses will be spanned. Setting aside the search for generalizations but enfolding generalities, each case study has generated a theoretical-practical proposition, all of which shall be presented along thesical development. The thesis itself will be composed by the following chapters, Chapter I, Introduction and Theme Placement; Chapter II, Methodological Principles Supporting the Survey; Chapter III, Thesis Development, as Suffused by Theoretical Resources, Analytical Categories, and Propositions; Chapter IV, Final Considerations. Voorskoolse kind en geletterdheidservaring. / The pre-school child and literacy experience

Van Wyk, Emilie Rosa 04 1900 (has links)
Parents should create an atmosphere where the child can be stimulated intellectually, can receive mediated learning experiences (MLE) and where he can experience safety and security. It is in the preschool years that the foundation is laid to make learning easier later on. Where early stimulation and mediation is lacking it is very difficult later on to achieve positive results with the same inputs. When the child is exposed to literacy experiences in his pre-school years, he can experience the inputs and concepts as "known" when he attends school, as he was already acquainted with them. The parents can shape the pre-school years of the child in such a manner that the potential of the child can be realised optimally. In the empirical investigation parents were interviewed in order to determine the extent to which they supplied intellectual stimulation to their pre-school children. According to the results it appears that early stimulation is probably an important factor with regard to achievement in later years. / Psychology of Education / M. Ed. (Psychology of Education)

Vliv metody Reuvena Feuersteina na didaktiku učitele základní školy / The influence of Reuven Feuerstein ́s method on elementary school teacher didactics

Kurcová, Petra January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with influence of Feuerstein's method of Instrumental Enrichment on didactics of elementary school teacher. The Instrumental Enrichment method is a very sophisticated strategy for developing individual cognitive structures. A person who helps develop cognitive structures acts as a mediator. These mediators are most often parents or teachers. So, according to Feuerstein, the teacher is not merely a knowledge builder, but he tries to develop his / her thinking and teaching potential. The aim of my work is to deepen the general knowledge of the influence of this method on teachers' didactics from the perspective of those teachers who work with it. To clarify in which areas didactics teachers perceive the impact of this method and how concrete changes are reflected. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the author of the method, Professor Reuven Feuerstein, and the theoretical starting points from which his method is based. In addition, Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment Program is introduced, which is an application of mediated learning to pedagogical practice. It further defines the concept of didactics. The last part deals with available research on the influence of the method on teachers' didactics. In the empirical part, which is based on qualitative research...

Mediação materna: análise da experiência de aprendizagem mediada entre mães e suas filhas com Síndrome de Williams / Maternal mediation: analysis of the Mediated Learning Experience between mothers and their children with Williams Syndrome

Lee, Lucia Cunha 10 June 2014 (has links)

No. of bitstreams: 1 Lucia Cunha Lee.pdf: 6101361 bytes, checksum: 97fc5563d800b7ac6a05a73e68ddd500 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-06-10 / Fundo Mackenzie de Pesquisa / Parent-child interaction is an important interface in psychological assessment. Mediated Learning Experience (MLE) describes a type of directed interaction that influences the development of the child with whom the adult interacts. It is notewerthy the importance of the mediating function that parents can establish with their children and how it can be affected when the child presents any development disorder. Williams Syndrome is caused by a segmental aneusomy due to the deletion of multiple genes in chromosome region 7q11.23. Some indicators for the diagnosis are identified at birth, such as typical facial features and the presence of cardiac and renal alterations. Among behavioral characteristics, it is observed excessive sociability and a cognitive profile with intelectual disability and discrepancies in the manifestation of cognitive skills, such as impaired visuospatial function and preserved language skills, especially expressive ones. Considering these conditions, the present study aimed at analizing mediating actions taken by mothers during semidirected activities (assembling a puzzle and telling and retelling a story), performed with their daughters who have WS. To do so, it was described how mothers manage mediations with their daughters, based on MLE. Three mother-child dyads took part in the study. There were 5 sessions, two between mother and child and three between the mother and the researcher. During the sessions involving mother and child, it was possible to notice that mothers presented qualitatively and quantitatively varied mediating actions during the tasks, exposing differences according to the type and complexity of tasks (such as giving verbal instructions, using a model for the puzzle, drawing attention to parts of the story). Categories of MLE Scale proved adequate for the assessment steps as they offered an overview of the mediator s actions repertoire. It was verified that the shared experience between mother and daughter was a stimulus and a facilitator to situations of reflexion in individual interviews with the mothers. Thus, the association of observation by the mother, interaction with her daughter and individual interview proved effective to achieve a qualitative alteration of mediation strategies and is also promising for the development of children with WS. Therefore we underline the importance of observation of parental interactions as well as reflection upon them as assessment and intervention tools in the field of development disorders.
