Menas, kaip viena iš pirmaujančių žmogaus veiklos sferų užima bene pagrindinį vaidmenį žmonijos vystymosi raidoje. Šiuolaikinė meno sistema, bendradarbiaudama su švietimo sistema, kuria ateities visuomenės vizijas. Menininkai šioje sistemoje yra vieni iš svarbiausių dalyvių, susijusių su meno gamyba ir platinimu. Maža to, menininko profesija įdomi dar ir tuo, jog dalis jaunosios kartos bodisi bendra nusistovėjusia tvarka, ir būtent šioje terpėje radikaliam menininkui atsiranda galimybė sušvelninti trintį. / Art, as one of leading spheres of human activity, plays the main role in human evolution. A modern art system, while collaborating with education system, creates the visions of future society. Artists are one of the main participants, related with art production and distribution, in aforementioned system. What is more, the profession of artists is interesting because of the fact that a part of young generation has an aversion to general established order, and possibility for radical artist to reduce the friction appears precisely in this medium. Improvement of unsuitable system is often radical, while an artist – a revolutionary player. However, the breakthrough of postmodern radicalism condemns the artist for temporarily novelty, temporarily recognition and temporarily privileges.

nÃo hà / Esta pesquisa debruÃa-se sobre a temÃtica Budismo e EducaÃÃo no contexto da sociedade pÃs-moderna. Delimitou-se como objetivo principal investigar a contribuiÃÃo da educaÃÃo budista para a transformaÃÃo dos sujeitos. A abordagem do estudo à de carÃter qualitativo e utilizamos como procedimento metodolÃgico de investigaÃÃo uma revisÃo de literatura. Nossos interlocutores para o campo do Budismo foram, em especial, HUMPHREYS (1969), CONZE (1973) e NINA (2004); na Ãrea da educaÃÃo, ancoramos nosso trabalho nas ideias de ROHDEN (2005) e, no que se refere à pÃs-modernidade, fundamentamos teoricamente nosso estudo em BAUMAN (2001) e BERMAN (2007). Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam a possibilidade de a educaÃÃo budista tornar-se uma resposta alternativa aos desafios da sociedade pÃs-moderna, considerando que esta doutrina oriental tem um carÃter compassivo, tolerante e pacifista. Conclui-se, atravÃs desta pesquisa, que a educaÃÃo budista à capaz de contribuir para a transformaÃÃo dos sujeitos, tornando-os agentes multiplicadores de uma Cultura de Paz. / This research focuses on the theme of Buddhism and Education in the context of postmodern society. The main objective was to investigate the contribution of Buddhist education to the transformation of subjects. The approach of the study is qualitative and we used as a methodological investigation procedure a literature review. Our interlocutors for the field of Buddhism were in particular HUMPHREYS (1969), CONZE (1973) and NINA (2004); in the area of education we anchored our work in the ideas of ROHDEN (2005) and with regard to postmodernity we theoretically based our study on BAUMAN (2001) and BERMAN (2007). The results of the research evidence the possibility that Buddhist education becomes an alternative response to the challenges of postmodern society, considering that this eastern doctrine has a compassionate, tolerant and pacifist character. It is concluded through this research that Buddhist education is capable of contributing to the transformation of subjects, making them multiplier agents of a Culture of Peace.

Inaugurada por Gerd Achenbach, na Alemanha, em 1981, essa idéia encontrou ressonância na França, com Mare Sautet; nos EUA, com Lou Marinoff; no Brasil, com Lúcio Packter, além de estar presente em vários outros países. Esses autores alegam que na Academia, a filosofia foi reduzida à uma produção intelectual para poucos, ou quase ninguém, e garantem que a nova forma como eles a propõem, possibilita sua utilização prática e, portanto, o retorno à sua verdadeira origem. A concepção de filosofia subjacente nesta proposta está tão distante da Filosofia em seu sentido cultural grego, quanto o está o filósofo "terapeuta", "médico da alma" ou "conselheiro", do filósofo, educador político, do período clássico grego. / Abstract: The idea of using philosophical thinking or theories to solve individual problems, conflicts or existential crises has found followers all over the world. Starting with Gerd Achenbach in Germany, in 1981, the concept was developed in France, with Marc Sautet; in the USA, with Lou Marinoff; in Brazil, with Lucio Packter, and it has been present in other countries as well. These authors claim that Philosophy has been reduced to an intellectual production of very few, or almost no one, in the academy, and they guarantee that their proposal leads to daily use, and, therefore, takes it back to its classical roots. There are many possibilities of investigation of this new way of understanding philosophy and the professional practices that come from it. This work shows that both the concept of philosophy and the philosophers' practice expressed in a proposal of "philosophical practice" are equivocal. The thesis deals with the study of issues of escape, nomadism and territorialisation with regard to postmodern society. These concepts are explored on the basis of works by two French postmodern authors: Giles Deleuze and Michel Maffesoli. However, the analysis of seemingly similar ways of telling about these topics is to prove their considerable difference with respect to their understanding of life, world and society. In the theoretical part, the research focuses on Deleuz's concepts of becoming, multiplicity and division of space into smooth and grooved and Maffesoli's concepts of postmodern society associated with neotribalism, its desire to wander and dynamic rooting. The analytical part of the thesis is based on these concepts to interpret the documentary cycle "Kmeny", which relates to the topic of urban subculture within the Czech Republic.

This diploma thesis polemizes with the relationship of human and smart technologies on a background of problematic of a postmodern society and aims to formulate a conclusion in that the use of smart technologies, given their current form and the current state of affairs in general, with its side effects may affect the form and nature of the whole society. By analyzing fundamental aspects of a postmodern society, particularly by reflecting on the processes of globalization, individualization, rationalization and relativization, complemented by illustrative examples of the effects of the use of smart technologies by ordinary and lay users, it is relating to the basic characteristics of current society. Its aim is to demonstrate imaginary spectacularness, in terms of the use of smart technologies and also in terms of the unfulfilled ideal of modernity, and it also aims to relate this imaginary spectacularness to the question of scientific and technological progress and also to the question of human nature as these are questions of the future development of the current postmodern spectacular society.

Postmoderní společnost a současné úkoly výchovy a vzdělávání / Postmodern Society and Contemporary Tasks of Education

(in English): This Diploma work is examining the relation between contemporary social conceptions and aims of education how these are expressed by curriculum documents mainly in Czech Republic. But this relation is not the case of easy and unidirectional impact of social knowledge to educational science. That is why the first part of this thesis is focused on four important postmodern philosophical and sociological concepts differently delimiting as distinct from modern society. General overview of contemporary society change characteristics proceeding from these analyses is the basis of rather different ways of pedagogical thinking followings. With three pedagogical conceptions simultaneously present in nowadays pedagogical discourse, but originally emerged in different eras and different social backgrounds I am trying to point to considerable antinomy demands on present aims of education. I am delineating which phrasings of social reality the contemporary Czech educational policy is rising from. I am stating that the reduction of social reality as background of education in general can lead to formation of ambivalences in suggested educational policy solutions. Finally this diploma work is trying to put forward brief proposals for solution of these new problems of education.

Izraelský lidový tanec: historie a současnost se zvláštním zřetelem na české prostředí / Israeli Folk Dance:History and Presence with a Particular Focus on Dancing in the Czech Republic

This thesis intends to introduce Israeli folk dance from a number of different perspectives. In the first part, based on literature review, the author presents the origins of Israeli folk dances in Israel as well as their roots and the way they further function in a current Israeli society. Special attention is given to the problematic labeling of Israeli folk dance as "folk". The second part of the thesis is based on the author's own field work and describes the ways Israeli folk dances are practiced in the Czech environment. Whereas in Israel these dances are mostly connected with demonstration of Israeli identity, they get different meanings in the Czech environment. Firstly the author attempted to reconstruct the history of spreading of Israeli folk dances in the Czech environment and to map the different groups involved in these dances. Collection of these facts can be further used as an information source for all researchers wishing to conduct studies on Israeli folk dances in the Czech Republic in the future. Secondly the author concentrated on the ways of practicing Israeli folk dances in a Prague group called Besamim. Att leva som Robin Hood? : En hermeneutisk studie om vad det innebär att vara sopdykare i ett postmodernt konsumtionssamhälle

Syftet med den föreliggande studien har varit att beskriva och skapa en djupare förståelse för vad det innebär att vara sopdykare i ett postmodernt konsumtionssamhälle. Den teoretiska delen i studien har bestått av Zygmunt Baumans teorier om konsumtionsliv, globalisering och postmodern etik. Material har bestått av fem intervjuer med två kvinnor och tre män som sopdyker regelbundet. Den metodologiska utgångspunkten har varit att tolka materialet utifrån ett hermeneutiskt förhållningssätt i tre olika nivåer. De begrepp som tillsammans utgör en huvudtolkning om vad det innebär att vara sopdykare i postmoderniteten är: En ambivalent konsumtion, alternativa kicksökare, den kollektiva gemenskapen, tänk globalt – agera lokalt, den gode stråtrövaren och gammaldags moral. Resultat som framkommit är att sopdykarna lever i en Robin Hood kultur som goda stråtrövare där det anses vara okej att ta från de rika och ge till de fattiga. Resultatet visar även att sopdykarna är ambivalenta i sina handlingar eftersom de har en tanke om att inte bidra till konsumtionssamhället samtidigt som det faktiskt är vad de gör. Sopdykarna som fenomen skulle inte kunna existera om de inte livnärde sig på konsumtion. / The purpose of this study is to describe and bring deeper understanding as to what dumpster diving means in a postmodern consumer society. Also, the theoretical framework of this study will be derived from the works of sociologist Zygmunt Bauman in which he discusses consumption lifestyles, globalization and postmodern ethics. The data consist of interviews with three men and two women who have been dumpster diving continuously for extensive amounts of time. The methodological point of departure is a hermeneutic approach and the material is interpreted on three levels. Moreover, the results of the study will be divided into themes. An ambivalent consumption, rush seekers, think globally – act locally, the righteous brigand and old-fashioned morals are those terms that aligned comprise the principal interpretation of what it means to be a dumpster-diver in the postmodern world. The results it shows that dumpster divers live in a Robin Hood culture as righteous brigands where it is considered justified to take from the rich and give to the poor people. Dumpster divers are significantly ambiguous in their actions due to the fact that they have an idea that they are not contributing to consumption society, but in reality they do indeed. In fact, this study shows that dumpster divers would not exist if they were not fed by consumption.

Darbe nagrinėjamos postmodernizmo teorijos atsiradimo ištakos ir termino vartojimo istorija. Pateikiami autorių svarstymai apie postmodernizmo sampratos susiformavimą. Aptariamos naujosios muzeologijos šalininkų išskirtos naujo postmodernaus muziejaus veiklos kryptys: komunikacija, edukacija bei rinkodara. Atlikus tyrimą, darbe pateikiamos 9 Lietuvos muziejininkų nuomonės apie muziejų (apie lankytojus, jų istorinės savimonės bei kūrybiškumo ugdymo būdus, dabartinio muziejaus trūkumus, modernaus muziejaus viziją ir kt.). 2007 m. patvirtinta „Muziejų modernizavimo programa“, truksianti iki 2015 m. Šioje programoje numatytus tikslus ir uždavinius galima skirti į dvi dalis – materialųjį muziejų modernizavimą ir nematerialųjį muziejų modernizavimą. Į materialiojo muziejaus modernizavimo sąvoką įeina pastatų renovavimas, ekspozicijų atnaujinimas bei naujų eksponatų įsigijimas. Tuo tarpu nematerialusis muziejų modernizavimas apima muziejininkų gebėjimų tobulinimą bei Lietuvos integralios muziejų informacinės sistemos kūrimą. Atlikus tyrimą darbe pateikiami 5 muziejaus darbuotojų požiūriai į muziejų modernizavimo procesą Lietuvoje. / The present Paper deals with the beginning of Postmodernism theory and history of usage of the aforementioned term. Contemplations of different authors regarding formation of Postmodernism conception are provided.Trends of a new postmodern museum activities distinguished by supporters of the new museology are discussed. Three major activities, i.e. communication, education, and marketing, are distinguished. Opinions of 9 Lithuanian museologists on museum (on visitors, methods for development of their historical self-consciousness and creativity, drawbacks of a contemporary museum, vision of a modern museum, etc.) are provided in the Paper upon completion of a research. “Programme for Modernisation of Museums” which shall be implemented by 2015 was approved in 2007. Aims and tasks specified in the aforementioned Programme may be divided into two parts: material modernisation of museums and immaterial modernisation of museums. The conception of material modernisation of museums includes renovation of buildings, renewal of expositions and acquisitions of new exhibits. Meanwhile, immaterial modernisation of museums includes improvement of museologists’ skills and creation of an integral Lithuanian museum information system. 5 attitudes of museum employees towards the process of museum modernisation in Lithuania are provided in the Paper upon completion of the research.
