Bienestar psicológico y estilos de crianza en madres de preescolares de Lima / Psychological Well-being and Parenting Styles in Mothers of Preschoolers in Lima

Introducción: El propósito de este estudio fue comparar los niveles de bienestar psicológico con los niveles de cada estilo de crianza en las madres de niños preescolares de Lima. Método: Se utilizó la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico (BIEPS-A) adaptada por Domínguez (2014) y el Cuestionario de Dimensiones y Estilos de Crianza adaptada por Velásquez y Villouta (2013). La muestra estuvo conformada por 180 madres de niños preescolares de Lima, las edades oscilaron entre 21 y 53 años con un promedio de edad de 34 años. El tipo de investigación es cuantitativa con diseño transversal descriptivo-comparativo. Resultados: Se encontró que no existen diferencias significativas entre la comparación de los niveles del bienestar psicológico y los niveles de cada estilo de crianza, sin embargo, existe cierta prevalencia a utilizar un estilo autoritativo. Asimismo, se encontró que las madres de 21 a 25 años tienden a presentar un mayor bienestar psicológico a diferencia de los otros grupos. Conclusión: Existe cierta tendencia en las madres a utilizar en mayor medida el estilo autoritativo con un nivel bajo de bienestar psicológico. / Background: The purpose of this study was to compare the psychological well-being and parenting styles of mothers of preschool children in Lima. Method: The Psychological Well-being Scale (BIEPS-A) adapted by Domínguez (2014) and the Parenting Dimensions and Styles Questionnaire adapted by Velásquez and Villouta (2013) were used. The sample consisted of 180 mothers of preschool-age children from Lima, the ages ranged from 21 to 53 years with an average age of 34 years. The type of research is quantitative with a descriptive-comparative cross-sectional design. Results: It was found that there are no significant differences between the comparison of psychological well-being and parenting styles, however, there is a certain prevalence of using an authoritative style. Likewise, it was found that mothers between 21 and 25 years of age pretend to have greater psychological well-being than the other groups. In this thesis we dealt with two important theoretical concepts of well-being - subjective (E. Diener) and psychological (C. Ryff). Previous work has demonstrated the conceptual identity of both constructs, but at the same time highlighted their interdependence. The aim of the work was to analyze both concepts of well-being on the basis of their relationship to selected psychological variables: self-esteem, personality traits, coping strategies and basic human values. The research sample consisted of 2368 university students of Masaryk's University in Brno. Using Pearson's correlations, we have described relationships of subjective (SWB) and psychological (PWB) well-being to the mentioned psychological variables. In many cases, correlations suggested similar relationships between SWB and PWB with the variable. We further tested these similarities by the test of the difference between two dependent correlations and found statistically significant differences in the relationships between both concepts of personal well-being and self-esteem, personality traits of extraversion and conscientiousness, coping strategies of active coping, behavioral disengagement, planning, denial, positive reframing, acceptance and self-blame. Polyvictimization across contexts has been found to be associated with negativepsychological adjustment among adolescents. This study aimed to explore the differences inpsychological adjustment outcomes amongst adolescents who experience victimization andpolyvictimization in a single context. Another aim was to investigate the possible moderatingeffect of peer support on psychological adjustment outcomes. Cross-sectional data from theYouth and Sports Project was used, with a sample of 675 Swedish adolescents in 7th grade(Mage= 13.1). Through cluster analysis, separate groups of adolescents were identified basedon their victimization experiences. Two of these groups were classified as experiencingpolyvictimization. The main findings showed that polyvictimized youth reported higherlevels of depressive symptoms and school stress, as well as lower levels of self-esteem andpsychological well-being, compared to non-victimized youth and those experiencing oneform of victimization. The results also showed that polyvictimized youth did not benefit frompeer support in relation to the psychological adjustment variables, compared to nonvictimizedyouth and those experiencing one form of victimization. This suggests thatpolyvictimization in a single context is associated with negative psychological adjustmentwhich is not buffered by peer support.

Föreliggande tvärsnittsstudie är av kvantitativ design med syftet att undersöka hur olika typer av tränarbeteenden och olika typer av motivationsklimat påverkar psykologiskt välbefinnande hos ungdomsfotbollsspelare, samt hur väl de olika typerna av tränarbeteenden och motivationsklimat predicerar ungdomsfotbollspelares psykologiska välbefinnande. Den aktuella studien hade 95 deltagare i åldrarna 16 till 19 år (M= 16.97, SD= 2.6). Deltagarna självskattade sina upplevelser av tränarbeteenden, motivationsklimat och psykologiskt välbefinnande utifrån frågeformulären Coaching Behavior Scale for Sport, Perceived Motivational Climate in Sport Questionnaire-2 och Ryff's Psychological Well-Being scales. Resultatet av en enkel regressionsanalys visade att tränarbeteendet tävling/-matchstrategi hade störst positiv effekt på psykologiskt välbefinnande. Vidare visade analysen att tränarbeteendet negativ personlig kontakt hade en negativ effekt på psykologiskt välbefinnande. Den enkla regressionsanalysen visade även på en positiv effekt på psykologiskt välbefinnande av uppgiftsorienterat motivationsklimat, och en negativ effekt på psykologiskt välbefinnande av resultatorienterat motivationsklimat. Объектом исследования явились личностные и поведенческие характеристики невесток. Предметом исследования стали взаимосвязи показателей личностных (жизнестойкости, психологического благополучия, локуса контроля) и поведенческих (копинг-стратегий) особенностей у невесток с разным отношением к свекрови. Магистерская диссертация состоит из введения, трех глав, заключения, списка литературы (62 источника) и приложения, включающего в себя бланки применявшихся методик. Объем магистерской диссертации 101 страница, на которых размещены 2 рисунка и 21 таблица. Во введении раскрывается актуальность проблемы исследования, разработанность проблематики, ставятся цель и задачи исследования, определяются объект и предмет исследования, формулируются основная и дополнительные гипотезы, указываются методы и эмпирическая база. Первая и вторая главы включают в себя обзор иностранной и отечественной литературы по теме исследования. Первая глава включает в себя описание межпоколенных взаимоотношений в семье. Вторая глава включает в себя описание структуры жизнестойкости, предложенной С. Мадди, совладающего поведения, психологического благополучия и локуса контроля в современной психологии. Выводы по первой и второй главам представляют собой итоги по изучению теоретического материала. Третья глава посвящена эмпирической части исследования. В ней представлено описание организации и методов проведенного исследования и результатов, полученных по всем использованным методикам: «Самооценка тревожности» Ч. Д. Спилбергера, адаптация Ю. Л. Ханина, «Шкала ситуативной тревожности», «Тест жизнестойкости» С. Мадди, адаптация Д. А. Леонтьева, Е. И. Рассказовой, «Шкала психологического благополучия» К. Рифф, адаптация Н. Н. Лепешинского, опросник «Локус контроля» Дж. Роттера, опросник «Копинг-стратегии» Р. Лазаруса. Также в главе представлены сравнительный и корреляционный анализ результатов исследования. Выводы по главе 3 включают в себя основные результаты эмпирического исследования. The subject of the study was the relationship of indicators of personal (hardiness, psychological well-being, locus of control) and behavioral (coping strategies) features in daughters-in-law with a different attitude to mother-in-law. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, list of references (62 sources) and an Appendix, including the forms of the applied techniques. The volume of the master's thesis is 101 pages, which contains 2 figures and 21 tables. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research problem, the development of the problem, the purpose and objectives of the research, the object and subject of the research, the main and additional hypotheses are formulated, the methods and the empirical base are specified. The first and second chapters include a review of foreign and domestic literature on the topic of the study. The first Chapter includes a description of intergenerational relationships in the family. The second Chapter includes a description of the structure of hardiness offered by S. Maddi, coping behavior, psychological well-being and locus of control in modern psychology. Conclusions on the first and second chapters are the results of the study of theoretical material. The third Chapter is devoted to the empirical part of the study. It describes the organization and methods studies and the results obtained for all methodologies used: "self-rating anxiety" C. D. Spielberger, "Scale of anxiety" (adapted of Y. L. Hanin), a Hardiness Test by S. Maddi (adapted by D. Leontiev, E. Rasskazova), "Scale psychological well-being," K. Riff (adapted N. N. Lepeshinskiy), the questionnaire "Locus of control" John. Rotter; and a technique designed to study behavioral characteristics: the questionnaire "Coping strategy" R. Lazarus. The Chapter also presents a comparative and correlation analysis of the results of the study. The conclusions of Chapter 3 include the main results of the empirical study. In conclusion, the results of the theoretical and empirical parts of the work, as well as conclusions on the hypotheses put forward, the practical significance of the study and the possible prospects for further development of this problem are described in a generalized form.
