The thesis is focused on ECM and its representation in the reference model of IT management MBI. The main objective is to extend the aforementioned model with objects associated with the ECM - factors describing the structure of solutions, tasks defining the procedure for its implementation and the links between them and existing objects. The thesis analyzes in detail the benefits, but also the risks and problems associated with solution implementation. The methodology provides a set of best practices for the implementation of ECM.

The increasing volume of biological data requires finding new ways to save these data in genetic banks. The target of this work is design and implementation of a novel algorithm for compression of DNA sequences. The algorithm is based on aligning DNA sequences agains a reference sequence and storing only diferencies between sequence and reference model. The work contains basic prerequisities from molecular biology which are needed for understanding of algorithm details. Next aligment algorithms and common compress schemes suitable for storing of diferencies agains reference sequence are described. The work continues with a description of implementation, which is follewed by derivation of time and space complexity and comparison with common compression algorithms. Further continuation of this thesis is discussed in conclusion.

Konzeptuelle Modelle sind zur Gestaltung und Steuerung von Informationssystemen ein akzeptiertes und weit verbreitetes Instrument. Sie werden sowohl zur Gestaltung der Organisationsstruktur als auch zur Entwicklung der unterstützenden IT-Systeme verwendet. Für diesen Aufgabenbereich existiert eine hohe Nachfrage nach externer Unterstützung, da spezifische Fachkenntnisse und Erfahrungen notwendig sind. In diesem Zusammenhang werden seit Jahrzehnten Ansätze zur Wiederverwendung in Wissenschaft und Praxis diskutiert. Die Akzeptanz und Verbreitung von explizit zur Wiederverwendung konstruierten Modellen (Referenzmodelle) bleiben jedoch deutlich hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Die vorliegende Arbeit trägt zur Untersuchung möglicher Ursachen für den ausbleibenden Erfolg von Referenzmodellen bei. Der Forschung liegt die Vermutung zugrunde, dass die Potentiale von Referenzmodellen nicht zufriedenstellend ausgeschöpft werden können, weil die existierenden bzw. verwendeten Modellierungsmethoden die theoretischen Anforderungen an die Wiederverwendung von modellhaft dargestellten Lösungen zur Unternehmensgestaltung nicht erfüllen. Die vorliegende Arbeit fasst neun Einzelpublikationen zum Themenbereich Evolutionäre Referenzmodelle zu einer kumulativen Dissertation zusammen. Es werden in einem argumentativdeduktiven Verfahren konstruktivistische Theorien zur systematischen Weiterentwicklung und Wiederverwendung konzeptueller Unternehmensmodelle untersucht. Die auf dieseWeise resultierende Erweiterung der allgemeinen Modelltheorie wurde ihrerseits argumentativ-konzeptionell mit Hilfe von semiformalen Argumentationsmodellen aufbereitet. Im Ergebnis werden ein theoretisches Rahmenwerk zur evolutionären Referenzmodellierung präsentiert und 23 konzeptionelle Anforderungen definiert, die eine gezielte Methodenentwicklung für die evolutionäre Referenzmodellierung steuern sollen.

En la actualidad, los centros de salud tales como hospitales y clínicas necesitan guías específicas que ayuden en la creación de controles para administrar y salvaguardar la confidencialidad, disponibilidad e integridad de la información de sus sistemas. En consecuencia, se utiliza como guía la ISO/IEC 27002 que sirve para la administración de la información que cuenta con controles generales que pueden ser tomados como ejemplo. Sin embargo, ante la necesidad de aplicar controles específicos en el sector salud, se creó la ISO/IEC 27799 que tiene con objetivo brindar controles de seguridad para proteger la información personal (pacientes) en cuanto a los temas de salud. Este proyecto consiste en implementar un modelo de referencia para entidades del sector salud que permita gestionar la seguridad de los datos sensibles y confidenciales soportado en una plataforma Blockchain integrando la norma ISO/IEC 27799. Además, para el sector salud tienen que cumplirse los principios fundamentales de seguridad de la información, si uno de ellos se incumple, podría traer repercusiones negativas hacia el paciente. Los resultados obtenidos indican que al utilizar la tecnología Blockchain, los datos de salud de los pacientes están mejor resguardados ante cualquier incidente como por ejemplo un Ciberataque o manipulación mal intencionada de datos. Se espera que nuestro modelo de referencia ayude en la gestión de la seguridad de datos de salud en los hospitales y clínicas, con el fin de reducir el impacto de riesgos encontrados durante el proceso de validación. / Currently, health centers such as hospitals and needs need specific guidelines that help in creating controls to manage and safeguard the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the information in their systems. Consequently, ISO / IEC 27002 is used as a guide, which is used for the management of information that has general controls that can be taken as an example. However, given the need to apply specific controls in the health sector, ISO / IEC 27799 was created, which aims to provide security controls to protect personal information (patients) regarding health issues. This project consists of implementing a reference model for entities in the health sector that allows managing the security of sensitive and confidential data supported on a Blockchain platform integrating the ISO / IEC 27799 standard. In addition, the three principles must be met for the health sector basic information security, if one of them is breached, it could have negative repercussions for the patient. The results obtained indicate that by using Blockchain technology, patients' health data is better protected against any incident such as a cyber-attack or malicious manipulation of data. Our reference model is expected to assist in the management of health data security in hospitals and clinics, in order to reduce the impact of risks found during the validation process. / Tesis

[pt] Sales and Operations Planning (SeOP), também chamado de Integrated Business Planning (IBP), é um processo de negócios que integra os planejamentos dos setores de uma empresa de forma a balancear a oferta e a demanda por produtos em um horizonte de planejamento de médio prazo, apoiando assim a integração horizontal da empresa. O S(e)OP/IBP serve também de ponte entre os planejamentos estratégico e operacional, apoiando assim a integração vertical da empresa. Apesar de esse processo ter adquirido um papel de destaque na área de gestão da cadeia de suprimentos, os benefícios esperados ainda não foram totalmente obtidos, na prática, pela indústria. Além disso, a literatura indica a necessidade de uma caracterização completa do processo e que um modelo de referência beneficiaria os usuários do processo. Visando endereçar tais carências, esta dissertação elabora uma estrutura de modelo de referência preliminar para o processo de S(e)OP/IBP, com base em trabalhos acadêmicos, white papers escritos por praticantes, um estudo de caso em uma indústria química do Brasil e a aplicação de grupos focais e painel de especialistas em S(e)OP/IBP. Este trabalho contribui com um estudo empírico no tema, além de oferecer uma estrutura de modelo de referência preliminar, avaliada por praticantes de S(e)OP/IBP, que pode ser usada como inspiração para empresas que desejam desenhar ou melhorar seu processo e por acadêmicos em pesquisas futuras com o intuito de aprimorá-lo. Ademais, são apresentados 13 pontos de atenção a serem avaliados pelos praticantes, a fim de amenizar os impactos das diferenças entre contextos. / [en] Sales and Operations Planning (SandOP), also called Integrated Business Planning (IBP), is a business process that integrates business plans from different functional areas of a firm to balance supply and demand of products in a mid-term planning horizon, thus supporting the horizontal integration of the firm. S(and)OP/IBP also serves as a bridge between strategic and operational plans, thus supporting the vertical integration of the firm. Although this process has gained prominence in the area of supply chain management, the expected benefits at the time of implementation have not yet been fully realized in practice by the industry. Moreover, the literature indicates the need for a complete characterization of the process and that a reference model would benefit process users. To address these research-practice gaps, this dissertation elaborates a preliminary reference model structure for the S(and)OP/IBP process, based on academic papers, white papers written by practitioners, a case study in a Brazilian chemical industry and the application of focus group with S(and)OP/IBP experts. This work contributes with an empirical study on the theme, as well as it offers a preliminary reference model structure, evaluated by practitioners of S(and)OP/IBP, which can be used as a guidance for firms willing to design or improve their own process and for academics in future researches with the aim of refining it. In addition, 13 points of attention to be assessed by practitioners are presented in order to mitigate the impacts of differences between contexts.

En undermålig leveransprestation av maskiner och utrustning skapar problem i hela försörjningskedjan för ett byggprojekt. Ifall maskiner och utrustning inte levereras efter överenskommen tid, bidrar det till stillestånd och förseningar av byggprojektet. Bygget stannar upp om inte rätt maskiner, finns på rätt plats, i rätt skick och i rätt kvantitet. Syftet med studien är att identifiera vilka moment som tillsammans utgör orderprocessen i uthyrningsbranschen och vad som påverkar tillförlitligheten av leveranser för uthyrning av maskiner och utrustning till byggbranschen. En processkartläggning har identifierat fem moment i orderprocessen, kundkontakt, ordermottagning, orderhantering, leverans och returer. För att veta hur väl orderprocessen presterar behöver mätetal införas. Utan mätetal är det svårt att veta ifall maskiner och utrustning levereras efter vad som överenskommits med kund. Mätetal underlättar även för förbättringar i processer då det går att jämföra mot tidigare mätetal för att se ifall en förbättring har blivit en förbättring eller enbart en förändring. En kombination av mätetal på tillförlitlighet från Supply Chain Operations Reference Model samt tillämpningar och metoder från Supply Chain Management kan förbättra tillförlitligheten av leveranser i en försörjningskedja som förser byggbranschen med maskiner och utrustning. / A poor delivery performance of machines and equipment creates problems throughout the supply chain for a construction project. If machines and equipment do not arrive in compliance with agreed upon time, it will cause downtime and delays at the construction site. The construction site will come to a standstill if not the right machines is at the right place, at the right time, in the right condition and in the right quantity. The purpose of the report is to identify which elements constitute the order process for rental of machines and equipment, as well as provide suggestions on how the elements can be improved to increase the reliability of deliveries to and from construction projects. With process mapping five elements of the order process have been identified, customer support, receiving of orders, processing of orders, deliveries and returns. To know the performance of the order fulfillment, measurements need to be introduced. Without metrics, it is difficult to know if machines and equipment arrive at the construction site correctly. Metrics also facilitate improvements in processes as it is possible to compare to previous measures to see if an improvement has been an improvement or just a change. If metrics on reliability from the Supply Chain Operations Reference Model is combined with practices and methods from Supply Chain Management the reliability of deliveries in the supply chain that supplies the construction industry with machines and equipment can be improved.

It includes implementation on PCB with MMC interface and software implementation of MMC driver and FAT file system.
