The compounds were obtained in high purity, requiring only one recrystallization from hexane/dichloromethane. Yields were very satisfactory, ranging from 89 to 98%. The compounds were characterized by spectroscopic techniques such as 1H, 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and IR. The synthesized compounds were evaluated by electrochemical potentiodynamic polarization techniques, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy and Linear Polarization Resistance as inhibitors to the corrosion AISI 1020 carbon steel in 1M HCl media. Molecular modeling was used for better visualization of the thiourea structures and to correlate theoretical parameters such as the energy of the symmetrical frontier orbital, Mulliken charge on the sulfur atom and dipole moment with the experimental results for corrosion efficiency. In general, all compounds showed corrosion inhibition efficiency with characteristics of mixed inhibitors with anodic trend, however compounds with nitro substituent showed less efficiency, a fact that may be related to their electrons withdrawing potential, which consequently decreases the electron density at the possible center of chemical adsorption, the sulfur atom. However, compounds which showed no substituent and those that contain electron donating group (OCH3) stood out as inhibitors, highlighting N- (p-methoxyphenyl) -N'-phenetylthiourea, which showed 95% efficiency corrosion inhibition, from Electrochemical Impedance spectroscopy. Thus, the asymmetric thiourea benzyl and phenethyl-substituted, especially methoxy-substituted phenyl, can be considered as promising corrosion inhibitors for carbon steel in acid. / Nesse trabalho de disserta??o foram sintetizadas seis tioureias assim?tricas, derivadas da benzilamina e fenetilamina. A obten??o ocorreu atrav?s da rea??o dos isotiocianatos de fenila p-substituidos na presen?a da benzilamina e fenetilamina em tolueno como solvente atrav?s de irradia??o em banho de ultrassom, sendo o primeiro relato na literatura dessa metodologia para tais mol?culas. Os compostos foram obtidos em alto grau de pureza, sendo necess?ria apenas uma recristaliza??o em hexano/diclorometano. Os rendimentos foram muitos satisfat?rios, variando de 89 ? 98%. Os compostos foram caracterizados por t?cnicas espectrosc?picas como Resson?ncia Magn?tica Nuclear 1H,13C e Infravermelho. De forma geral, todos apresentaram efici?ncia de inibi??o ? corros?o com caracter?sticas de inibidores mistos com tend?ncia an?dica, por?m os compostos com substituinte nitro apresentaram menor efici?ncia, fato esse que pode estar relacionado ao seu poder retirador de el?trons, que consequentemente, diminui a densidade eletr?nica no poss?vel centro de adsor??o qu?mica, o enxofre. Por?m, os compostos que n?o apresentaram substituintes e os que cont?m grupo doador de el?trons (OCH3) se destacaram como inibidores, dando destaque a N-(p-metoxi-fenil)-N?-fenetiltioureia, que apresentou efici?ncia de 95% de inibi??o da corros?o, pela t?cnica de Espectroscopia de Imped?ncia Eletroqu?mica. Assim, as tioureias assim?tricas benzil e fenetil-substitu?das, especialmente met?xi-fenil substitu?das, podem ser consideradas como promissores agentes inibidores da corros?o para o a?o-carbono em meio ?cido.

The discussions about the centrality of the rural social movements, about the work organization in this context and the possibility of the families remaining in the land, among other themes, have contributed to concretize the counter-hegemonic experiences in the rural setting. Thus, aiming at understanding the relation between the collective articulation processes and the productive organization in a land reform rural settlement, this paper wishes to contribute with the debate on the contradictions and potentialities of the social struggles for land, work and housing rights. For this purpose we carried out an analysis about the centrality of the local social organization processes and its implications for the productive organization in the context of a rural settlement. According to the research aims, this study was conducted by the ethnographic method. This methodology allows us not only to understand the aspects related to the potentialities and contradictions of the collective articulation process in this context, but also to reflect on the way each settled rural worker is affected by this phenomenon. The field research was carried out in a land reform settlement located in the city called Araras, in the state of S?o Paulo. This settlement is made of four areas, composing an assembly permeated by different characteristics. The research participants were the actors/actresses in some way involved with the settlement, such as the settlers and the supporters who eventually took part in meetings held during the fieldwork. Besides the entries in the field diary brought forth by participant observations, we conducted three interviews with the settlers from a same settlement area. The discussion on the contradictions and potentialities identified in the research context are grounded on the Community Psychology theoretical assumptions. With its praxis directed to social change and by adhering to its principle of not enhancing deficiencies, but individuals and community potentialities, Community Psychology is concerned with the perspective of daily resistance, with the breaking down of oppression mechanisms, as well as with its commitment of lending visibility to small groups? confrontations and micro resistances. The research results indicate that collective articulation processes are central for the productive organization as it is the main element to keep the settlers in the land. Therefore, the strengthening of these two spheres, productive organization and social organization, is determinant for the settlement prosperity and for maintaining this collective of settlers in their plots of land. / As contradi??es e as potencialidades inerentes ? organiza??o social e produtiva dos assentamentos rurais de reforma agr?ria s?o tem?ticas recorrentes em pesquisas de diversas ?reas do conhecimento. Em conson?ncia com os objetivos da pesquisa, utilizamos o m?todo etnogr?fico para o desenvolvimento deste estudo. A utiliza??o do m?todo etnogr?fico nos permitiu n?o apenas compreender os aspectos relativos ?s potencialidades e contradi??es do processo de articula??o coletiva neste contexto, mas tamb?m refletir sobre o modo como cada trabalhador/a rural assentado/a ? afetado/a por esse fen?meno. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada em um assentamento de reforma agr?ria localizado na cidade de Araras ? SP. Este assentamento ? formado por quatro ?reas, compondo um conjunto permeado por diferentes caracter?sticas. Foram participantes da pesquisa os atores/atrizes de alguma forma envolvidos/as com o assentamento, ou seja, os/as assentados/as e apoiadores/as que eventualmente participaram dos encontros realizados durante o trabalho de campo. Al?m dos registros em di?rio de campo gerados pelas observa??es participantes, tamb?m foram realizadas tr?s entrevistas com assentados de uma mesma ?rea do assentamento. As contradi??es e potencialidades identificadas no contexto pesquisado s?o discutidas com base nos pressupostos te?ricos da Psicologia Comunit?ria. Com sua pr?xis voltada para a mudan?a social e partindo do princ?pio de n?o destacar defici?ncias, mas sim as potencialidades dos indiv?duos e da comunidade, a Psicologia Comunit?ria tem uma rela??o com a perspectiva de resist?ncia cotidiana, com o rompimento dos mecanismos de opress?o, bem como o compromisso de dar visibilidade aos enfrentamentos e microrresist?ncias de pequenos grupos. Os resultados da pesquisa indicam que os processos de articula??o coletiva s?o centrais para a organiza??o produtiva enquanto principal elemento que sustenta a perman?ncia dos/as assentados/as na terra. Portanto, o fortalecimento destas duas esferas, quais sejam, a organiza??o produtiva e tamb?m a organiza??o social, ? determinante para a prosperidade do assentamento e para a perman?ncia desse coletivo de assentados/as em seus lotes de terra.

The soil-cement bricks are one of the alternatives to masonry construction. These elements, after a short curing period, provide compressive strength similar to that of solid bricks and ceramic blocks, and the higher the resistance the higher the amount of cement used. We used the soil from the city of S?o Jos? do Mipibu / RN, the banks of the River Baldun, cement CPIIZ-32 and residue of drill cuttings from oil wells drilling onshore wells in the town of Mossley, RN, provided Petrobras. To determine the optimum mix, we studied the inclusion of different residues (100%, 80%, 70%, 60% and 50%) where 15 bodies were made of the test piece. The assessment was made of bricks made from simple compression tests, mass loss by immersion and water absorption. The experimental results proved the efficiency and high utilization of the waste from the drilling of oil wells, making the brick-cement-soil residue with a higher strength and lower water absorption. The best result in terms of mechanical strength and water absorption for the ternary mixture was 10% soil, 14% cement and 80% residue. In terms of binary mixtures, we obtained the best result for the mix-cement residue, which was 14% cement incorporated in the residue / O presente trabalho consiste no estudo das caracter?sticas e propriedades tecnol?gicas de tijolos solo-cimento formulados a partir de misturas bin?rias e tern?rias de cimento Portland, areia, ?gua, com e sem adi??o de cascalho proveniente da perfura??o de po?os de petr?leo, que poder?o ser utilizados pela ind?stria, com o objetivo de melhorar seu desempenho e diminuir seu custo utilizando o res?duo e, conseq?entemente, aumentando sua vida ?til. Os tijolos de solo-cimento constituem uma das alternativas para a constru??o em alvenaria. Esses elementos, ap?s pequeno per?odo de cura, garantem resist?ncia ? compress?o simples similar ? dos tijolos maci?os e blocos cer?micos, sendo a resist?ncia tanto mais elevada quanto maior for ? quantidade de cimento empregada. Foi utilizado o solo proveniente do Munic?pio de S?o Jos? do Mipib?/RN, as margens do Rio Baldun, cimento CPIIZ-32 e res?duo de cascalho de perfura??o de po?os de petr?leo proveniente da perfura??o de po?os Onshore, no munic?pio de Mossor?/RN, fornecido pela Petrobras. Para a determina??o da mistura ?tima, estudou-se a inclus?o de teores de res?duos diferenciados (100%; 80%; 70%; 60% e 50%) onde foram confeccionados 15 corpos-de-prova. A avalia??o dos tijolos confeccionados foi feita a partir de ensaios de compress?o simples, perda de massa por imers?o e absor??o de ?gua. Os resultados experimentais comprovaram a efici?ncia e o elevado potencial de utiliza??o do res?duo proveniente da perfura??o de po?os de petr?leo, tornando o tijolo de solo-cimento-res?duo com uma maior resist?ncia mec?nica e menor absor??o de ?gua. O melhor resultado, em termos de resist?ncia mec?nica e absor??o d ?gua, para a mistura tern?ria, foi de 10% de solo, 14% de cimento e 80% de res?duo. In this work the efficiency of polar extracts (ethanol extracts) obtained from the plants Anacardium occidentale Linn (AO) and Phyllantus amarus Schum. & Thonn (PA) as corrosion inhibitors were evaluated in different concentrations. For that AO and PA extracts were solubilized in the microemulsion systems (SME) containing saponified coconut oil as surfactant (SME -OCS and SME-OCS-1) in saline (NaCl 3,5 %) solution, which was also used as electrolyte. Both SME-OCS and SME-OCS-1 were characterized by surface tension and viscosity methods showing a Newtonian fluid behavior. The SME-OCS and SME-OCS-1 systems satisfactorily solubilized the polar extracts AO and PA with measurements carried out by ultraviolet spectroscopy. The measurements of corrosion inhibition efficiencies were performed by the electrochemical linear polarization resistance (LPR) technique as well as weight loss, on the surface of AISI 1020 carbon steel. The maximum corrosion inhibition efficiencies were determined by extrapolation of Tafel plots, showing the following values: 95,6 % for the system SME-OCS-AO, 98,9 % for the system SME-OCS-AO-1 and 93,4 % for the system SME-OCS-PA / Na busca por produtos que combatam a corros?o e ao mesmo tempo n?o agridam o meio ambiente, a utiliza??o de extratos vegetais como inibidores de corros?o v?m se tornando uma alternativa promissora. The expected benefits of homogenization include increased mechanical strength, toughness and resistance to delamination. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of stacking sequence on the tensile strength of laminates. Composite plates were fabricated using unidirectional layers of carbon/epoxy prepreg with configurations [903/303/-303]S and [90/30/-30]3S. Specimens were subjected to tensile and open hole tension (OHT) tests. According to the experimental results, the mean values of strength for the homogenized laminates [90/30/-30]3S were 140% and 120% greater for tensile and OHT tests, respectively, as compared to laminates with configuration [903/303/-303]S. The increase in tensile strength for more homogenized laminates was associated with the increment in interlaminar interfaces, which requires more energy to produce delamination, and the more complicated crack propagation through plies with different orientations. OHT strength was not affected by the presence of the hole due to the predominance of the interlaminar shear stress in relation to the stress concentration produced by the hole / Laminados formados por l?minas com diferentes orienta??es, finamente dispersas, s?o classificados como homogeneizados. Diminution of the lithographic process variability for advanced technology nodes / Diminution de la variabilité du procédé lithographique pour les noeuds technologiques avancés

A l’heure actuelle, la lithographie optique 193 nm arrive à ces limites de capacité en termes de résolution des motifs dans la fenêtre du procédé souhaitée pour les nœuds avancés. Des lithographies de nouvelle génération (NGL) sont à l’étude, comme la lithographie EUV (EUV). La complexité de mise en production de ces nouvelles lithographie entraine que la lithographie 193 nm continue à être exploitée pour les nœuds 28 nm et au-delà. Afin de suivre la miniaturisation le rôle des techniques alternatives comme le RET (en anglais Resolution Enhancement Technique) tels que l’OPC (Optical Proximity Correction) est devenu primordial et essentiel. Néanmoins, la complexité croissante de design et de la variabilité du procédé lithographique font qu’il est nécessaire de faire des compromis. Dans ce contexte de complexité croissante du procédé de fabrication, l’objectif de la thèse est de mettre en place une méthode de boucles de correction des facteurs de variabilité. Cela signifie une diminution de la variabilité des motifs complexes pour assurer une résolution suffisante dans la fenêtre de procédé. Ces motifs complexes sont très importants, car c’est eux qui peuvent diminuer la profondeur du champ commune (uDoF). Afin d'accomplir cette tâche, nous avons proposé et validé un enchainement qui pourra être plus tard implémenté en production. L’enchainement en question consiste en une méthodologie de détection basée sur la simulation des motifs les plus critiques étant impactés par les effets issus de la topographie du masque et du profil de la résine. En outre cette méthodologie consiste en une diminution et la compensation de ces effets, une fois que ces motifs les plus critiques sont détectés. Le résultat de l’enchaînement complété sont encourageants : une méthode qui détecte et diminue les variabilités du processus lithographique pour des nœuds de technologie de 28nm a été validée. En plus elle pourrait être adaptée pour les nœuds au-delà de 28 nm. / The currently used 193 nm optical lithography reaches its limits from resolution point of view. Itis despite of the fact that various techniques have been developed to push this limit as much aspossible. Indeed new generation lithography exists such as the EUV, but are not yet reliable to beapplied in mass production. Thus in orders to maintain a robust lithographic process for theseshrunk nodes, 28 nm and beyond, the optical lithography needs to be further explored. It ispossible through alternatives techniques: e.g. the RETs (Resolution Enhancement Techniques),such as OPC (Optical Proximity Correction) and the double patterning. In addition to theresolution limits, advanced technology nodes are dealing with increasing complexity of design andsteadily increasing process variability requiring more and more compromises.In the light of this increasing complexity, this dissertation work is addressed to mitigate thelithographic process variability by the implementation of a correction (mitigation) flow exploredmainly through the capability of computational lithography. Within this frame, our main objectiveis to participate to the challenge of assuring a good imaging quality for the process windowlimiting patterns with an acceptable gain in uDoF (usable Depth of Focus).In order to accomplish this task, we proposed and validated a flow that might be laterimplemented in the production. The proposed flow consists on simulation based detectionmethodology of the most critical patterns that are impacted by effects coming from the masktopography and the resist profile. Furthermore it consists of the mitigation and the compensationof these effects, once the critical patterns are detected. The obtained results on the completedflow are encouraging: a validated method that detects the critical patterns and then mitigates thelithographic process variability been developed successfully.

Les progrès réalisés dans la microélectronique répondent à la problématique de la réduction des coûts de production et celle de la recherche de nouveaux marchés. Ces progrès sont possibles notamment grâce à ceux effectués en lithographie optique par projection, le procédé lithographique principalement utilisé par les industriels. La miniaturisation des circuits intégrés n’a donc été possible qu’en poussant les limites d’impression lithographique. Cependant en réduisant les largeurs des transistors et l’espace entre eux, on augmente la sensibilité du transfert à ce que l’on appelle les effets de proximité optique au fur et à mesure des générations les plus avancées de 45 et 32 nm de dimension de grille de transistor.L’utilisation des modèles OPC est devenue incontournable en lithographie optique, pour les nœuds technologiques avancés. Les techniques de correction des effets de proximité (OPC) permettent de garantir la fidélité des motifs sur plaquette, par des corrections sur le masque. La précision des corrections apportées au masque dépend de la qualité des modèles OPC mis en œuvre. La qualité de ces modèles est donc primordiale. Cette thèse s’inscrit dans une démarche d’analyse et d’évaluation des modèles résine OPC qui simulent le comportement de la résine après exposition. La modélisation de données et l’analyse statistique ont été utilisées pour étudier ces modèles résine de plus en plus empiriques. Outre la fiabilisation des données de calibrage des modèles, l’utilisation des plateformes de création de modèles dédiées en milieu industriel et la méthodologie de création et de validation des modèles OPC ont également été étudié. Cette thèse expose le résultat de l’analyse des modèles résine OPC et propose une nouvelles méthodologie de création, d’analyse et de validation de ces modèles. / The Progress made in microelectronics responds to the matter of production costs reduction and to the search of new markets. These progresses have been possible thanks those made in optical lithography, the printing process principally used in integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing.The miniaturization of integrated circuits has been possible only by pushing the limits of optical resolution. However this miniaturization increases the sensitivity of the transfer, leading to more proximity effects at progressively more advanced technology nodes (45 and 32 nm in transistor gate size). The correction of these optical proximity effects is indispensible in photolithographic processes for advanced technology nodes. Techniques of optical proximity correction (OPC) enable to increase the achievable resolution and the pattern transfer fidelity for advanced lithographic generations. Corrections are made on the mask based on OPC models which connect the image on the resin to the changes made on the mask. The reliability of these OPC models is essential for the improvement of the pattern transfer fidelity.This thesis analyses and evaluates the OPC resist models which simulates the behavior of the resist after the photolithographic process. Data modeling and statistical analysis have been used to study these increasingly empirical resist models. Besides the model calibration data reliability, we worked on the way of using the models calibration platforms generally used in IC manufacturing.This thesis exposed the results of the analysis of OPC resist models and proposes a new methodology for OPC resist models creation, analysis and validation.

Indiv?duos obesos sens?veis (n=9) e resistentes ? insulina (n=8) foram submetidos a 8 semanas de HIIT, em cicloerg?metro, realizado 3 vezes por semana, com intensidade e volume progressivos (8 a 12 est?mulos; 80 a 110% da pot?ncia m?xima). Amostras de sangue venoso e do m?sculo vasto lateral foram obtidas antes e ap?s o programa de HIIT. Ap?s o programa de treinamento houve aumento da sensibilidade ? insulina nos obesos resistentes ? insulina, mas n?o houve redu??o da massa de gordura. A concentra??o de citocinas no soro, o estresse oxidativo sist?mico e frequ?ncia das c?lulas imunes n?o foram modificadas ap?s o treinamento. Exercise is recognized as a non-pharmacological approach to increasing skeletal muscle insulin sensitivity, although the mechanisms are not elucidated. Additionally, the understanding of high intensity interval training (HIIT, high intensity interval training) treat insulin resistance is less understood. Therefore, this study evaluated the effects of HIIT on biochemical, molecular, and cellular markers related to insulin resistance in sedentary obese individuals. Sensitive (n=9) and insulin resistant (n=8) obese individuals (body mass index ? 30 kg/m-2) were engaged in 8 weeks of HIIT using a cycle ergometer. The HIIT was performed 3 times a week, and its intensity and volume progressively increased throughout the training period (from 8 to 12 stimuli; from 80 to 110% of the maximum power). Venous blood and the vastus lateralis muscle samples were obtained before and after the HIIT. HIIT enhanced insulin sensitivity in insulin-resistant obese individuals without changing body fat mass. Cytokine concentration in serum, blood oxidative stress, and frequency of some immune cells were not altered by HIIT. In skeletal muscle, HIIT increased the phosphorylation of insulin receptor substrate (IRS) (Tyr612), Akt (Ser473), and protein kinase dependent calcium/calmodulin (CaMKII) (Thr286). HIIT also increased the expression of ?-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase (?-HAD) and cytochrome C oxidase (COX-IV). A reduction of the kinase phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated (ERK1/2) was only seen in obese insulin resistant individuals. The results show that 8 weeks of HIIT enhanced insulin sensitivity, modified components of the insulin-signaling pathway, and improved skeletal muscle oxidative metabolism. These changes were independent of alterations in body fat and inflammatory parameters.

For this purpose the researchers selected two youth groups: the Association of Youths Constructing Dreams (in the quarter of Felipe Camar?o) and Lelo Melodia Crew (Quarter of Guarapes). Both are articulated through the strategy of coalition in regional and national nets. The hypothesis is that inside the groups and nets new youthful citizens arises. That would be a change in the representation of poor youth: from 1980 s street children - young whose social stigma associated poverty and crime to late 1990 s kids of project (pointing their trajectory in social projects) or, in present days, called as young peripherals - for the enrollment in cultural movements, as the hip hop movement - These new young citizens are contributing to new social imagery significations on poor youths. The methodology encloses: a) focal group; b) participant research analyzing the making arts (ways to think, social daily practices, actions engaged in a diversity plans) of youth groups; c) life stories of some of the youngs produced in workshops; d) not structuralized interviews. d) several documents of the groups; e) local and national surveys. Results emphasize a feeling of opening to a project of autonomy in relation to a social system that leaves them in a situation of social precariousness. Conclusion remarks that such practices of the youthful groups through the art, leisure, sport and culture unfold politics effect so that can point innovative forms of politics participation on the part of this specific segment of poor youths of Brasilian country, although conflicts and paradoxes crosses individual citizens, youth groups and youth nets. / Trata-se de estudar as subjetividades juvenis em bairros, da Zona Oeste de Natal-RN, marcados por faltas e conting?ncias que constituem a cotidianidade da exist?ncia social de seus jovens moradores. Acompanham-se dois coletivos juvenis, a Associa??o de Juventudes Construindo Sonhos (no bairro de Felipe Camar?o) e a Posse Lelo Melodia (Bairro de Guarapes) que se articulam atrav?s da estrat?gia de coliga??o em redes regionais e nacionais. Aventa-se a hip?tese que se gestam no interior dos grupos e redes juvenis novos sujeitos juvenis que de modo diverso dos outrora meninos de rua jovens cujo estigma social associava pobreza a criminalidade identificavam-se doravante por sua trajet?ria em projetos sociais como jovens de projeto ou denominavam-se jovens perif?ricos pelo engajamento em movimentos culturais, como o movimento hip hop e a partir desses novos sujeitos jovens, novas significa??es sociais imagin?rias sobre juventudes. Metodologia: O estudo incluiu 45 mulheres com SOP e 47 mulheres saud?veis ovulat?rias submetidas a avalia??es cl?nico-ginecol?gicas e oftalmol?gicas, incluindo proped?uticas para a avalia??o do filme lacrimal e medida da PIO, e medi??o da espessura macular, da CFNR e par?metros do disco ?ptico usando tomografia de coer?ncia ?ptica. Resultados: Tempo de ruptura do filme lacrimal (TRFL; p=0.001) e impregna??o por fluoresce?na (p=0.006) apresentaram diferen?as estatisticamente significantes entre os grupos estudados. A preval?ncia de DOS foi de 44,4% nas portadoras de SOP. Houve redu??o estatisticamente significativa do TRFL na presen?a de SOP (p=0.001). Al?m disso, houve efeito estatisticamente significativo de intoler?ncia ? glicose e s?ndrome metab?lica/inflama??o na impregna??o por fluoresceina (p=0.004; p=0.015, respectivamente). A PIO encontrou-se estatisticamente mais elevada no grupo SOP que no grupo controle (p=0.011). Houve um aumento na m?dia do IPC (?ndice press?o-c?rnea) com a associa??o entre SOP e da s?ndrome metab?lica (p = 0.005); A m?dia da espessura da CNFR superior ao redor do nervo ?ptico foi estatisticamente mais espessa nas volunt?rias com SOP que nas volunt?rias saud?veis (p=0.036); Ap?s estratifica??o pela presen?a de resist?ncia insul?nica, as m?dias dos subcampos das espessuras maculares ?macular interno temporal, macular interno inferior, macular interno nasal e macular externo nasal, foram mais espessas no grupo SOP que no grupo controle (p<0.05); Houve associa??o significativa entre obesidade e resist?ncia insul?nica (p=0.037), e intoler?ncia ? glicose (p=0.001), com aumento m?dio do componente principal 1 (CP1), e, na presen?a de s?ndrome metab?lica (p<0.0001), com aumento m?dio do componente principal 2 (CP2), respectivamente, em rela??o ? espessura macular total.
