[en] PROPOSAL FOR MANAGEMENT OF EOL PRODUCTS - END-OF-LIFE IN RETAIL STORES USING THE CONCEPTS OF REVERSE LOGISTICS / [pt] PROPOSTA PARA O GERENCIAMENTO DE PRODUTOS EOL – END- OF-LIFE DE LOJAS VAREJISTAS UTILIZANDO OS CONCEITOS DA LOGÍSTICA REVERSA

EDUARDO DUARTE DE ABREU OLIVEIRA 31 July 2015 (has links)
[en] This paper addresses a subsection of Business Logistics, Reverse Logistics as an evolution of the management of supply chain and supply. This work will be shown that reducing the quantity of products or goods EOL - end of-life or end of life, standing in retail department stores awaiting return in a reverse flow, generates positive income for this segment companies are properly controlled. To reduce this amount to the realization of a systemic control through technological management associated with the cultural change and the development of new devolution processes is needed.

Regulated deficit irrigation in citrus: agronomic response and water stress indicators

Ballester Lurbe, Carlos 06 May 2013 (has links)
In the Mediterranean area water is a scarce natural resource and periods of drought are frequent. It is then important to increase water use efficiency of irrigated crops. In order to achieve this, one promising option is regulated deficit irrigation (RDI). RDI consists in reducing water application during stages of crop development when yield and fruit quality have low sensitivity to water stress. Full irrigation is provided during the rest of the season to maintain production and fruit quality at adequate levels (Behboudian and Mills, 1997). In citrus, flowering and fruit set are sensitive periods to water restrictions, because water stress during this period increases fruit drop (Ginestar and Castel 1996). The more appropriate phenological period for applying water restrictions seems to be the summer period providing that water applications returned at full dosage sufficiently before harvest in order to allow for compensation in fruit growth (Cohen and Goell 1988). Previous work by González-Altozano and Castel (1999) showed the feasibility of applying RDI in 'Clementina de Nules' and identified threshold values of plant water stress that allowed water savings of about 10-20% without any detrimental effect on yield or fruit size. It would be desirable now to study the extrapolation of these results to commercial orchards of citrus and assess the use of RDI in different citrus cultivars. Two RDI strategies (RDI-1, irrigated at 50% of crop evapotranspiration (ETc) during summer and; RDI-2, irrigated at 35% ETc during the same period to RDI-1) will be compared with a control treatment irrigated at full requirements. As the level of water stress reached by trees is the important factor when RDI strategies are applied, the study of accurate water stress indicators for citrus is also needed. Thus, during the period of water restrictions the use of sap flow and canopy temperature measurements, obtained by thermal imaging or by means of fixed infrared thermometer sensors, will be assessed and compared to classical methods like stem water potential and stomatal conductance. / Ballester Lurbe, C. Systémy řízení skladových operací / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Korčián, Stanislav January 2009 (has links)
Goal of this thesis is to describe the warehouse management systems with focus on the engineering solution, software development and innovation. The evolution of warehouse management systems is very similar to that of many other software solutions. Initially a system to control movement and storage of materials within a warehouse, the role of WMS is expanding to including light manufacturing, transportation management, order management, and complete accounting systems. General point of view of this thesis is suggest the method how to implement modular (standard) solution on the premises. Project is specialized on PDA terminals and wireless access points settings. Introductory chapter of thesis offer extensive background, which reach out reader with system SAP and logistics processes. Practical part of project can divided to two parts. First one analyze software and develop system in cooperation with supplier and ITC department of ABB corporation. Follow part describe reports and dynamic programmes in programming language ABAP with a view to adoption architecture of system SAP. In fine author intend about future development of modern technology in ABB corporation and potential development of object identification method.

Method development : follow liquid distribution in real time / Metodutveckling för vätskespridning

Ndahimana, Joice, Issa, Tammar January 2017 (has links)
Continuous development and improvement of the modern disposable diaper is crucial for the optimization of product performance. Several methods are used for evaluation and improvements to sustain high quality diapers being produced. The aim of this thesis was to develop a new test method that follows liquid distribution in real time by combining two pre-existing measurement systems. Rewet is the amount of liquid that returns to the surface of diapers when subjected to pressure. Distribution of absorption material is examined by exposing the product core to radiation. These two measurement systems don’t convey anything about the course of the liquid in the diaper when tested separately. This method development is meant to be beneficial for research and development purposes at SCA, working as a complement to the pre-existing methods being used in the laboratory. The following questions are of interest: • Can the rewet test method be performed on a baby diaper while simultaneously exposing the product core to radiation so the course of the liquid can be followed in real time? • Is the liquid distribution (wet area) affected by different product compositions e.g. SAP or thickness? By modifying the current methods, rewet can be performed inside the x-ray equipment while studying the consistency of absorption material and following the liquid behavior in the product core. The developed method was verified by testing on handmade products with different compositions. The developed method’s rewet value has proved to be equivalent to the one tested outside, showing no significant difference between the two.
