We study the regularity of weak solutions for the Stefan and Hele- Shaw problems with Gibbs-Thomson law under special conditions. The main result says that whenever the free boundary is Lipschitz in space and time it becomes (instantaneously) C[superscript 2,alpha] in space and its mean curvature is Hölder continuous. Additionally, a similar model related to the Signorini problem is introduced, in this case it is shown that for large times weak solutions converge to a stationary configuration. / text

The main task of diploma thesis titled The character of King David in the literary works of Jewish German authors is a reflection of the biblical character of David in selected works. It classifies perspectives of particular Jewish German authors in belles-lettres and reference literature and compares their approaching methods. The goal is to evaulate particular interpretations and attributes of the biblical King David, one of the most beloved although inconsistent figures of all times. The thesis deals with the mathematical model for Stefan phase change problems. The model is then used in optimization procedures aimed at extremization of quantities describing the thermal behavior. The thesis also includes the derivation of the diferential heat equation, methods of energy accumulation and an introduction to phase change materials used for accumulation.

This master’s thesis is specialized on the influence of correct parameters of emissivity, which depends on the temperature, wavelength and ambient environment. The investigation the parameter was taken infrared non-contact thermometer MI3 from company Raytek. To improve the quality of measurement was designed and programmed measuring utility program. The program was developed in the LabView 8.5 programming environment. To obtain the true value of the measured temperature of the target was designed and constructed the touch thermometer with the resistance dependent sensor. The thermometer is connected to the communication box of infrared thermometer and contain the same program. Nowadays are the most advanced IR thermometer with fixed parameters emissivity, which is applicable just to the real body in the vicinity of the parameter emissivity 0,95. For those IR thermometers were designed correction function, which would have temperature measured at a fixed emissivity parameter 0,95 set close to the actual value of the object.

Light is electromagnetic radiation that could be shown in a spectrum with a wide range of wavelengths. Blackbody radiation is a type of thermal radiation and is an important topic to explore due to it being an ideal body that materials’ properties are often described in comparison to it. Therefore, it helps in understanding how materials behave on the quantum level. One must understand its interaction with light spectrum and how electron excitation happens. Thus, concepts such as Planck’s law, energy quantization and band theory will be discussed to try to grasp of how light interacts with materials.

Denna undersökning har som syfte att analysera och jämföra Boris Johnsons och Stefan Löfvens tal till respektive nation gällande COVID-19 pandemin 2020. Med grund i en retorisk analys utmärks argumentationsmedlen ethos, pathos och logos samt stilfigurerna anafor, metafor och metonymi för att se vilka av dessa retoriska medel som dominerar i talarnas krisretorik. Resultatet visar att argumentationsmedlen ethos, pathos och logos används i båda talen men i olika omfattningar. Pathos dominerar i Löfvens tal medan alla tre argumentationsmedel samspelar till samma grad i Johnsons tal. Resultatet visar även att alla tre stilfigurer används men att anaforen är mest framträdande i båda talen och förekommer betydligt oftare än metaforer och metonymier. Slutsatsen som dras är att ingen av dem använder sig av stilfigurer i någon högre grad vilket kan bero på att ett land i kris kräver seriös kommunikation utan utmålade ord och ledare som behöver vara tydliga och vara säkra på att alla som lyssnar förstår. Undersökningen visar att Löfven använder sig mest av pathos medan Johnson balanserar alla argumentationsmedel i samma utsträckning.
