The Master’s thesis deals with the area of conducting process audits in a large multinational corporation focused on manufacturing and distribution of medical devices, which has a subsidiary in the Czech Republic. The thesis discusses the analysis of the current set up of the internal audits‘ system in the corporation and there are changes of the quality system being proposed on the basis of the analysis, whose aim is to achieve a full compliance with the requirements of the US administration FDA, the standard ISO 13485 as well as the recent requirements on performing process audits. The emphasis is also put on the setting of the system such that it provides the highest possible added value for its users, can be easily implemented in practice and is flexible as well.

My diploma thesis is mainly focusing on analyzing the potential of chosen site and it’s possibilities to be used for building a community center. Designed building should serve as a starting point for revitalization of Ponava. It is designed in a way, which makes this building an icon of the whole revitalization process and also is offering a wide variety of cultural events. In a combination with proposed solution for traffic and people flow a meeting point for a wide spectrum should be achieved with designed building as a podium for city life. Office block is then stepping out a bit from this coulisse and is the most dominant part which is supporting the other cantilevered volumes. By doing so, the important role of municipality is captured in the image of the building itself.

The subject of my thesis is the design mountain guesthouse with a wellness centre, which is located in the village of Mala Morávka, at the level of documentation for construction. The new building is located in the cadastre unit Karlov pod Pradědem. This is a two floors, slab-building L-shaped with separate parking for visitors of boarding house and wellness centre. The structural system is composed of ceramic blocks Porotherm and reinforced concrete joist floor. Roof structure is made up of wooden trusses girders saddle shape. Design of mountain guesthouse with wellness centre respects the territorial plan of the village of Malá Morávka.

Kommunikation i Ledarskap på distans : en fallstudie / Communication in Distance Leadership : a case studyStrömberg, Linus, Persson, Jesper January 2021 (has links)
Syfte: Syftet är att studera hur sättet att kommunicera mellan chef och medarbetare påverkats, där flertalet anställda till följd av COVID-19 fått ställa om och arbeta på distans. Metod: Studien är genomförd som en kvalitativ enfallsstudie med tvärsnittsdesign, på ett finansbolag beläget i Västra Götaland. Frågeställningen besvaras genom analyser av data som samlats in genom personliga, semistrukturerade intervjuer med chefer och medarbetare. Resultat: En mer relationsinriktad ledarskapsstil tenderar att skapa bättre förutsättningar för en bra kommunikation på distans, jämfört med den mer målinriktade ledarskapsstilen. Kommunikationsverktyg är väsentliga för distansarbete och de finns alltid tillgängliga för medarbetaren. Är de verktyg som används inte anpassade efter organisationens situation, påverkas flödet av kommunikation och således om det är envägs- eller tvåvägskommunikation. Däremot inser användaren i samband med distansarbete befintliga verktygs fulla potential. Arbete på distans ställer i grunden inte mycket högre krav på medarbetarna utöver att de ska kunna arbeta självständigt och jobba minst lika effektivt, samt att personen även ska kunna ta ett större eget ansvar. Sätten och möjligheterna att kommunicera begränsas på distans, vilket innebär att samtliga kontinuerligt arbetar gemensamt för att upprätthålla en väl fungerande kommunikation. Chefen har definitivt ett högre ansvar att leda en grupp när den är splittrad, det är inte enbart en persons ansvar att upprätthålla en väl fungerande kommunikation. Förslag till framtida studier: Rekommendationen är att studera flertalet organisationer som inte omfattas av samma lagkrav och där personalstyrkan varit densamma sedan omställningen till distansarbete. På så sätt går det jämföra skillnaden mellan organisationer där alla haft en god kommunikation redan innan omställningen. Genom en kvalitativ studie finns möjlighet att täcka in större antal medarbetare för att få annat perspektiv på hur hela organisationen betraktar kommunikation och återkoppling i ett ledarskap på distans. / Purpose: The purpose is to study how the way to communicate between manager and employee is affected, where the majority of employees due to COVID-19 have had to adjust to the situation and telework. Method: The study is performed as a qualitative, cross-sectional designed single case study, at a financial company located in western Sweden. The questions for this study were answered through data analysis collected through personal, semi-structured interviews with supervisors and employees. Result: Human-oriented leadership tends to create better conditions for a well working communication in teleworking, compared to task-oriented leadership. The tools for working and communication are essential but also always available for the employee. If the tools in use are not adopted for the needs of the organization, the flow of the communication is affected and thus also the feedback. On the other hand the user during teleworking becomes more aware of the tools’ full potential. Teleworking basically doesn’t demand more of the employees other than being able to work independently and at least as efficiently, as well as taking more self responsibility. The ways and possibilities for communicating are limited while teleworking, which means that all involved continuously need to work mutually to obtain a well working communication. The manager definitely has a higher responsibility to manage a divided team but it’s not solely one person’s onus to obtain the communication. Suggestions for further studies: The recommendation is to study multiple organizations, which are not bound to the same legal requirements and where the staff has maintained the same since the conversion to teleworking. That way differences can be compared between organizations where a well functioning communication was established even before the conversion. Through a qualitative study there is a possibility to cover a greater number of employees with the objective of receiving a different perspective on how the entire organization considers communication and feedback during a telecommuting management.

The spiritual needs of pensioners in the residential home in Velká Bíteš Abstract: This theses focuses on spiritual needs of senior citizens living in the residential home for pensioners in Velká Bíteš. The theoretical part concentrates on the human needs, ageing and old age, healh and social services. It deals with spirituality, pastoral care, meaning of life and some religions. The practical part examinates the spiritual needs of pensioners in Velká Bíteš and tries to find out if these are sufficiently met. Further it maps the relation between the elderly to the faith, especially to some religious activities, and their cooperation with pastoral workers. The theses provides specific recommendations based on the results of the survay. The conclusion lists recommendations, which could be put into the practice and increase the quality of the spiritual care for senior citizens in residential facilities. The architectural study deals with the design of an eight-storey multifunctional building, which is part of a completely new block of flats in the South Quarter in Brno - the Trnitá housing estate. The starting material for the processing was a new urban and volumetric study "Brno - a new southern quarter" published by the Office of the Architect of the City of Brno. The zoning plan currently being prepared envisages the relocation of the main train station and the subsequent development of the city district. The Trnitá district in Brno will be the seat of the new millennium - very unique thanks to the direct connection to the historic city center and at the same time to train and bus transport of an international character. This part of the city will be not only a new residential area, but also a gateway for passengers to Brno. Therefore, it is important to pay enough attention to the local architecture to respond to the time in which it will be built; to address the current needs of the people of Brno and, last but not least, to reflect the development trends of society in cities on a global scale. The supporting idea in the theoretical solution was for me to understand the city as a meeting place. One of the primary functions of cities in the past was to meet people regularly for trade and exchange of goods. With the emergence and very rapid development of information technology, the exchange of goods was added to the exchange of information, to which the company began to attach much greater importance. An important way of exchanging this kind are the interpersonal encounters, communication and social interaction just mentioned, which can arise more easily if we create an environment for it - an architectural space. My intention was to design a "living residential house and meeting center" in terms of active interpersonal interaction in individual operations and also in terms of a living "breathing" building envelope using plants. In the design, it was important for me to emphasize the spaces that have the potential to meet, whether accidental or targeted, and can contribute to creating social bonds in the urban environment.

Into the blues : Exploring color through a new cultural scene in LövholmenUllert, Freja January 2023 (has links)
I have embarked on a journey (that will never end) to explore color. Inspired by Maggie Nelson’s blunt and anecdotal ways of writing about the color blue (2017), I have searched for more aspects of color than I intuitively knew before. What do I want with color? How much color is needed to make an effect? How do you combine theory with intuition? What approaches are there when working with color, and which to choose? What sort of knowledge is color and how do we create qualitative discussions about and with it? Will I ever be satisfied? The questions are asked in the context of renewing the interior of building 21, Smedjan or Smälten in Lövholmen. Its name Smälten comes from its industrial history as a smelter, producing resin in paint and varnishing products for Wilhems Beckers between 1944-1973. While Lövholmen is facing a lot of changes, the area has plenty of housing plans but fewer plans for cultural needs or activities. The city of Stockholm released a report in 2019 stating that we lack modern contemporary dance stages. Since Smälten is situated just next to Färgfabriken I think it well suited to serve as an extended cultural meeting point, providing a new platform for artistic expression and social interaction. A space to be shared for cultural activities that hold an audience, such as lectures, performances, art gatherings, film screenings or a contemporary dance stage. This project is about a journey of exploring color, but also the programming of a modern contemporary stage while renewing and taking care of a building from within, a building enriched with an industrial history.

自古鄰里相親敦親睦鄰,然而近年生活習慣與居住型態轉變,集合式公寓社區成為都市人們主要的住宅型態,人們與鄰里之間的互動日漸減少,以致於鄰里關係疏離。基此,本研究主旨在探討透過服務設計方法,改善都市集合式社區的住戶與鄰里之間的人際互動與溝通。
本研究以服務體驗工程方法論為研究方法,分三個階段進行研究。第一階段「服務體驗需求洞察研究」階段,透過深度訪談與參與觀察,挖掘社區住戶與鄰里主要有兩個接觸情境,即兩個不同的研究方向: (1)一為主動型住戶與鄰里往來而形成社區團購;(2)二為管委會與住戶的溝通與服務。比較兩個方向對社區的影響性後,擇第二個方向為本研究的研究方向。首先,採用人物誌分析出流程中三方使用者,包含住戶、管委會與總幹事,再以顧客旅程地圖發現三方溝通流程「管委會與住戶之間的溝通」及「住戶參與管委會的經驗」影響社區鄰里的互動關係,在流程的三部分中共發現16個問題與需求。
接著,第二階段進行「服務設計」,以普及至使用者中壯年齡層的智慧型手機為服務載具,設計社區社交平台「比鄰Belink App」,提供四項功能:「社區公告」、「提問求助」、「知識交流」與「委員會議」,改善住戶擔任委員參與管委會或是與管委會接觸的體驗。最後,第三階段「服務原型測試與評估」,邀請三方使用者以放聲思考法依照指定的情境使用「比鄰Belink App」,並填寫整體使用評估量表,再根據測試結果與意見回饋提出第二版設計,修改操作模式、介面按鈕的位置、顏色與形狀等等。
總結,研究成果為:(1)發現住戶與管委會在溝通流程三階段的16個問題與痛點;(2)了解中壯年齡層住戶的智慧型手機使用經驗;(3)提出符合使用需求的「比鄰Belink App」四大功能設計;(4)完成App使用性測試與可行性評估,使用者滿意提供的功能,三方使用者可更即時、公開與正向地進行溝通;但易用性方面雖具備可記憶性但易學性低,需修改設計。研究成果可作為日後相關研究參考。
