Hence thedevelopment department must constantly update their system which ultimatelyresults in a variety of versions of the system. The large number of versions creates acomplexity which often reduces product quality and extends the developmentlifecycle time. The work on the following thesis has taken place at Scania’s Fleet Managementdepartment, which develops tools for hauliers to track their vehicle fleet in real time. The purpose of this thesis was to examine how Scania can handle an increasedamount of versions of the Fleet Management System which Scania expect will be seenin the future. The investigation was conducted by preparing a number of differentscenarios that formed the basis for a discussion of what these different scenarioswould mean for different parts of Scania’s business. A benchmarking was made with anumber of different companies with similar problems in order to find suggestions tohandle the complexity of many versions. This investigation together with ourtheoretical studies was then used to provide suggestions for how the future can bemanaged.The study shows that replacing hardware quickly becomes an expensive process withmany trucks on the market. It would be more profitable for Scania to keep thenumber of versions low by using wireless updates in the future. By an earlierinvolvement of end customers and with more frequent customer visits, the number ofiterations in the development process can be reduced, thereby decreasingdevelopment time. 2	Att skriva, skriva om och skriva om sig själv : En komparativ undersökning av Inger Edelfeldts och Bengt Martins omarbetade berättelser om homosexualitet Nilsson Lindberg, Sebastian January 2011 (has links) Inger Edelfeldt (1956) and Bengt Martin (1933-2010) are two Swedish writers of different generations. Both of them did, between the years 1968 to 1983, write about adolescent men coming to terms with their homosexuality. Edelfeldt wrote two versions of the same story, with slight but significant differences, the main being different implied readers (adult versus adolescent). Bengt Martin wrote about three young homosexual characters: Joakim, Bengt and Bengt. The story about Joakim is presented as fiction but bears many resemblances with Martin’s autobiography. The story about Bengt, the only one of these stories meant for an adolescent implied reader, is seemingly presented as autobiographical but bears only slight resemblances to the Bengt brought forth in the autobiography Jag ångrar ingenting (“I don’t regret anything”). My purpose is to analyze how and why Edelfeldt and Martin re-wrote these stories. In what ways do the rewritings change the story about how it is to be young and homosexual? My result shows that a story about homosexuality differs due to the time it was written and that Martin and Edelfeldt wrote about this subject in a transit period between the focus on societal discrimination and the need to show a possible happy life. The wish to show society that homosexual individuals are unfairly treated conflicts with the need to give hope to young homosexual people. The word young is important in this context, as the adolescent implied reader (in Bengt Martin’s youth books about Bengt and the second version of Edelfeldt’s novel) makes the story more hopeful and less problematized. The analyzed books show the importance of seeing sexual identity as a construction. Martin and Edelfeldt are products of their time and society, but also actors in the re-shaping of homosexual identity. 3	Gangsterrap som barnkultur : En poststrukturalistisk diskursanalys av de subjektpositioner som unga människor antar inom svensk gangsterrap / Gangster rap as children’s culture Oliveira Martins von Zweigbergk, Jarcléa January 2021 (has links) The main intention with this study has been to analyze which social identities and versions of the world young people construct within Swedish gangster rap and how to see this from a child cultural perspective. In addition, my goal was to analyze what functions the rappers and their songs assume in relation to their young audience. The analysis shows that the positions young rappers occupy in the songs are strongly linked to their need to gain status within their group. In addition, it becomes a peer culture where they create and share their identities and versions of the world. It is also through music that they question the authority of adults. It can also be seen that their poor childhood means that crime becomes, apart from rap, the only way they perceive to rise economically and socially. But the price for these achievements is high.
