Previous issue date: 2015-09-10 / CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / The Politics of Permanent Education in Health proposes the practice of transformative actions taking education as a coping strategy in the health / disease. In 2009, it was created by the Ministry of Health and Education Multidisciplinary Residency in Health - RMS as a training modality sharing possibilities and contributions to the consolidation of the principles governing the SUS. In 2010, in Manaus started the first RMS class at the University Hospital of the capital. Motivated by better understand this new reality the research had the general objective: To analyze the Multidisciplinary Residency Program in Health University Hospital Getulio Vargas Manaus, training workers for SUS from the perspective of comprehensiveness. The specific objectives were to examine the theoretical basis leading to oriented training for the NHS and the principles of comprehensiveness and interdisciplinarity; Identify how the principle of comprehensiveness and interdisciplinarity are experienced in teaching and service of RMS; Check the RMS's contribution to the training of workers for SUS from the perspective of those principles. In seeking to achieve these objectives, methodologically the research was a critical approach, qualitative and quantitative techniques. The method procedure was Case Study. The site at the University Getulio Vargas Hospital - HUGV. The sample was intentional and consists of a population of forty-one (41) trained graduates between the years 2012-2015 and twelve (12) multi-professional residents (R2 in 2015) with a total population of fifty-three (53) respondents, these trinte-three (33) agreed to participate. As the technique used the same was due in indirect documentation, through literature and right documentation with the use of evaluative questionnaire techniques using a Likert scale of five points with the graduates and residents and audio recorded interviews with semi-structured only residents. Data were analyzed from the qualitative perspective. The results show that the search for train skilled professionals to work in the SUS RMS is configured as an important strategy. Throughout the assessment in the research it was found that the theoretical and practical basis of the SUS has good concept since 94% of respondents assessed positively. In contrast to the low quality assigned subjects (40%) who treated the principles of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary. Also were identified in the interviews, some shortcomings such as the organization of practical and theoretical-practical activities in and out of HUGV. Regarding the experiences of the principles of comprehensiveness and interdisciplinarity by the team it was identified that despite the shallow understanding of these principles was possible to notice the change initiative in acting professional front health issues / disease mostly know each other professions (91% ) and manage to identify other needs of users beyond their area of training (70%). Appointed as higher contribution provided by the residence (55%) that they have known and worked in the three health care levels and act in a multidisciplinary team. So the Multidisciplinary Residency is posited as a reality of great potential for change, requiring its expansion within the capital and in the interior of Amazonas state. O local no Hospital Universitário Getúlio Vargas - HUGV.

Sochařský objekt v kulturní krajině -reflexe nejen veřejného prostoru / Sculptural object in cultural -landspace reflections of not only public spaceKačírková, Pavla Unknown Date (has links)
The aim of the dissertation is to understand the rural environment, using the specific example of the Šarovy village, in all its uniqueness and wholeness of its built-up and rural zones. It points out the pressing problems of current landscape, such as the alienation of man and landscape, land consolidation, or bad state policy. The case study describes the activities of the citizens association Jinákrajina in the area of Šarovy and nearby villages. It describes individual activities of the citizens association (sculptures, avenues and trees, interesting places in the landscape, nature trails, events, and plans for the village), the reasons for their origination, the reactions they caused, and the consequences. The objectives of the research aim to show that it is art that can be the joining element between ecological and social approaches.

Stability and change in couples therapy : an action research processStrydom, Hester Maria 01 1900 (has links)
This study focuses on the cybernetic complementarity of stability and change in family
therapy. Stability and change involve both the client and therapist, and is a selfreferential
process where the observer is part of that which is observed.
One couple was involved in ten therapy sessions. During the action research cycles of
planning, acting and reflecting, the principles of systems theory, cybernetics and second
cybernetics were implemented. A team consisting of one lecturer and two students were
actively involved throughout all the phases of the research process.
During therapy, the therapist focused on stability to facilitate change in the structure of
the couple's organizational system. The research served as a good example of how
punctuation of two complementarity processes (stability and change) can enable and
empower clients to autonomously reflect on their own behaviour, and to make decisions
regarding patterns they would like or feel ready to change. / Social Science (Mental Health) / Thesis (M. Soc. Science)--University of South Africa, 2001. / M.A. (Social Science (Mental Health))

Cybernetics and Christianity : the pattern that connectsGradwell, Vanessa May 06 1900 (has links)
Two important trends have been noted in humankind's thinking of the world. These are increasing dissatisfaction with the rigid, dichotomous views of the Cartesian-Newtonian paradigm, and an increasing awareness of humankind's gpirituality. This dissertation broaches both these trends by exploring the new paradigm, that of cybernetic epistemology, which is a far more holistic and spiritual perspective.
This is done as follows. Certain concepts from cybernetics are discussed in terms of their implications and meanings. These are then discussed from a spiritual perspective, (specifically Christian), according to how they fit with the Biblical understanding of God and His creation. The aim was to see if and how cybernetics and Christianity meet - how their basic assumptions about the world and life compare. The conclusion is that the relationship between cybernetics and Christianity is that they are both similar and different and this dissertation is about the pattern that connects the two. / Psychology / M.A. (Clinical Psychology)

Stability and change: addressing the symptom of substance dependencyPietersen, Marika 30 June 2005 (has links)
The aim of this study is to demonstrate how the complementary concepts of stability and change could manifest during the therapeutic process, specifically with clients showing the symptom of dependency.
The study is guided by a literature study on systems/cybernetic theory with a focus on the cybernetic complementarity of stability and change. A brief description is provided of the symptom of dependency from a more traditional lineal perspective as well as a non-lineal (systemic) perspective.
A single case study is utilized to describe how both stability and change could manifest in the therapeutic process. From this description the relevance and usefulness of addressing both stability and change during the therapeutic process emerge and are outlined. / Social Work / M. A. (Social Science Mental Health)

Physics from Wholeness : Dynamical Totality as a Conceptual Foundation for Physical TheoriesPiechocinska, Barbara January 2005 (has links)
Motivated by reductionism's current inability to encompass the quantum theory we explore an indivisible and dynamical wholeness as an underlying foundation for physics. After reviewing the role of wholeness in the quantum theory we set a philosophical background aiming at introducing an ontology, based on a dynamical wholeness. Equipped with the philosophical background we then propose a mathematical realization by representing the dynamics with a non-trivial elementary embedding from the mathematical universe to itself. By letting the embedding interact with itself through application we obtain a left-distributive universal algebra that is isomorphic to special braids. Via the connection between braids and quantum and statistical physics we show that a the mathematical structure obtained from wholeness yields known physics in a special case. In particular we point out the connections to algebras of observables, spin networks, and statistical mechanical models used in solid state physics, such as the Potts model. Furthermore we discuss the general case and there the possibility of interpreting the mathematical structure as a dynamics beyond unitary evolution, where entropy increase is involved.

Kreatiwiteit by volwassenes as verwerking van ouerverwerping in die kinderjare: 'n pastorale verkenning / Magrieta Elisabeth PietersePieterse, Magrieta Elisabeth January 2010 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to show the effect of creativity on adults as a means of coming to terms with parental rejection experienced in childhood.
The study was done according to a practical theological interpretation of the three-phase hermeneutical model of Ricoeur, namely:
? understanding according to Scriptural perspectives (basis-theoretical), as well as on a metatheoretical level by means of a literature study;
? interpreting by means of an empirical research in the form of interviews with respondents;
? change by means of practical theoretical guidelines for the creative adult who processed parental rejection experienced in childhood by the pursuing of person-directed creativity.
Understanding on the basis-theoretical level showed the following:
With the fall in paradise, man rejected God and tried to fulfil his / her own needs independently. The arts were also contaminated and artists moved away from God, the Creator and Source of their creativity, to pursue their art in a self-centred and arrogant way. Creativity is being used with wrong motives as a method of selfhealing to process unresolved pain from the past. The honour which God deserves is lost and without Him mankind, as well as art, deteriorates. Art does show therapeutic value if it is directed towards God, but otherwise the success is temporary and superficial.
The literature study of ten well known creative individuals showed that the therapeutic effect of the pursuit of creativity to process parental rejection in childhood, failed sadly and ended in disillusionment for all of them. Their lives were a continuous search for healing and wholeness, as well as peace, meaning and happiness, whereas their personal relationships were destructive and / or broken and unhappy.
The empirical research with creative adults who experienced parental rejection in childhood, and used their creativity as a means of processing it, provided an explanation for the effect of this on these creative adults. Their creativity was directed at the self instead of at God and failed to process the hurt of childhood, as well as bringing about inner peace for a healthy relationship with God, the self and others, especially loved ones..
To effect change, practical theoretical guidelines were established to guide the creative man or woman, who experienced parental rejection in childhood, by the use of their creative medium, to embark on the road to recovery and healing with God?s help. The main goal of the practical guidelines is bringing redemption to the creative person through Jesus Christ so that he / she will use his or her creativity in future to honour and praise God, as well as to serve the fellowman. / Thesis (Ph.D. (Pastoral))--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2011.

Wild (Re)turns: Tracking the Epistemological and Ecological Implications of Learning as an Initiatory Journey Toward True Vocation and Soul / Wild Returns: Tracking the Epistemological and Ecological Implications of Learning as an Initiatory Journey Toward True Vocation and SoulLeighton, Hilary 10 September 2014 (has links)
Many people in Western culture experience systemic separation from an intimacy with the natural world and as a result, suffer a disconnection from their own natures. As an educator, my interest in the epistemological and ecological implications of nature-based, reflective learning as a form of initiation into maturity and calling led me to explore how education might create the conditions for consciously turning around the whole human with potential for turning around the whole world.
Drawing from insights and wisdom from depth psychology, ecopsychology, mythology, philosophy, the poetic traditions, literature, spiritual practices, and curriculum studies, and by adopting Jung’s psychology of individuation as a theoretical backbone for this body of work, I sought to fully flesh out and discover how we might reclaim and embody our original human wholeness (our individuated natures), and how education might be a catalyst for this. I have organized this study in such a way as to align with three central themes found universally in all rites of passage and that mirror my own heuristic research journey, namely: the separation, the threshold experience, and the return.
In the separation stage, I offer an historical perspective for much of Western culture’s current incongruence with nature. In addition, I provide a critique of how contemporary educational practices with their overt focus on profit-making and careerism further reinforce this dualistic thinking.
As a counterbalance, at midpoint of this study, I set forth on my own deep phenomenological threshold-crossing immersions into nature. This research became, in effect, a (re)search of self where surprisingly more of my own calling was revealed to me through the hermeneutics of powerful, wild teachings.
At the conclusion, as I (re)turn “from the woods”, my findings are shared (in part) as pedagogical examples of life-enhancing, less codified and embodied practices designed with the whole person—body, mind, and soul—(and earth), in mind that may support students (and teachers) in discovering their particular and deeply fulfilling ways of belonging to and contributing toward a living ecology. A symbolic artifact (a ‘body’ of work) accompanies and completes this work (Figure 3). / Graduate / 0727 / 0525 / 0534 / hilaryjl@telus.net
