ASMENŲ PO KOJŲ AMPUTACIJOS GYVENIMO KOKYBĖS KAITA DĖL DALYVAVIMO SPORTINĖJE VEIKLOJE / Life change of people with leg amputation and their participation in sports activities

Darbe atlikta teorinė asmenų po kojų amputacijos gyvenimo kokybės kaita dėl dalyvavimo sportinėje veikloje analizė. Iškelta hipotezė, kad asmenys, patyrę kojų amputacijas, ir dalyvaujantys sportinėje veikloje pasižymi geresne gyvenimo kokybe nei tie, kurie sportinėje veikloje dalyvauja nereguliariai. Anketinės apklausos metodu buvo atliktas tyrimas, kurio tikslas - įvertinti sporto vaidmenį (reikšmę) asmenų patyrusių kojų amputaciją, gyvenimo kokybės kaitai. Atlikta statistinė (aprašomoji koreliacijos ryšio (r) testo) duomenų analizė. Tyrime dalyvavo asmenys patyrę kojų amputaciją šlaunies lygyje, po amputacijos praėjęs laikas ne trumpesnis nei treji metai, užsiimantis sportine veikla nemažiau nei vieneri metai. Empirinėje dalyje nagrinėjama asmenų, patyrusių, kojos amputaciją, gyvenimo kokybės rodiklių raišką, patyrusių kojos amputaciją, dalyvavimo sporte poveikį gyvenimo kokybės kaitai, gyvenimo kokybės rodiklių kaitą priklausomai nuo dalyvavimo sporte intensyvumo. 1. Nustatyta, kad gana didelė lankančių sporto klubus fiziškai neįgaliųjų yra vieniši (19%), turintys mažas pajamas (44%), gyvenantys prastai pritaikytuose būstuose (56%), turintys vidurinį ar spec.vidurinį išsilavinimą(58%), nepakankamai geros sveikatos būklės (19%), nejaučiantys pasitenkinimo gyvenimu (19%) 2. The hypothesis shows that people who faced leg amputation and take part in sports activities have a better quality of life than those, who sport not regularly. Due to the method of questionnaire, a research was done and its purpose was to evaluate the role of sport in the life of people with leg amputation. Also, there is a statistical analysis of data. The research included people who faced the leg amputation in the level of a thigh. The period after amputation was not less than 3 years, and the person had to be involved in sports not less than 1 year. The empiric approach reveals the index of the life quality of people with leg amputation, it also shows the role of sports for the quality of life, the changes in life quality due to the intensity of sports activities. 1. Sportuojančių ir nesportuojančių paauglių savęs vertinimo, pasitikėjimo savimi ir patyčių sąsajos / The relation among athletes and non-athletes adolescent self-esteem, self-confidence and bullying

Darbo objektas – sportuojančių ir nesportuojančių paauglių savęs vertinimo, pasitikėjimo savimi ir patiriamų patyčių sąsajos. Tyrimo problema: Viena iš dažniausiai pasitaikančių bendravimo problemų paauglystėje - patyčios. Anot R. Povilaičio ir kt. (2007), jeigu paauglys nesijaučia pakankamai vertingas, jis siekia save su kuo nors palyginti, dažniausiai toks paauglys ieško bendraamžio, kuris, jo supratimu, yra mažiau vertingas. Taip atsiranda patyčios, kurių metu siekiama įrodyti savo pranašumą. Tačiau mokslininkai nesutaria dėl sportavimo įtakos patyčių raiškai. Vieni teigia (Malinauskas ir Šniras, 2006; Šukys ir Jankauskienė, 2008), kad sporto poveikis asmenybės psichologinei sveikatai, socialiniams įgūdžiams, nuo kurių priklauso individo elgesys aplinkoje, yra labai pozityvus, kiti - kad labiau negatyvus (Zajančkauskaitė-Staskevičienė ir Milerytė, 2010), kad ilgalaikė sportinė veikla gali turėti įtakos individų agresyviam elgesiui ir kitoje veikloje (Платонова, 2009). Todėl būtina atkreipti dėmesį į sportuojančių ir nesportuojančių paauglių savęs vertinimą ir pasitikėjimą savimi ir šių kintamųjų sąsąją su patyčiomis. Research problem: Bullying is one of the most common problems of communication in adolescence. According to R. Povilaitis et al (2007), if the teenager does not feel sufficiently valuable, he/ she tries to compare himself/ herself with someone else and usually such a teenager is looking for his/ her peer who in his/ her opinion, is less valuable. In such a way bullying appears and through it adolescents attempt to demonstrate their superiority. However, scientists disagree on the impact of sport for the bullying expression. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar se as práticas esportivas se apresentam incorporadas e executadas conforme projeto político-pedagógico da escola e se atendem aos objetivos do programa nas Escolas da Rede Municipal de Salvador. A pesquisa foi ancorada na abordagem do ciclo de políticas - dos contextos de influência, produção de texto e da prática, nas escolas municipais de Salvador, no ano de 2014. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas e questionários e processados em um programa estatístico, onde foram avaliados por dimensões definidas como o projeto político- pedagógico das escolas analisadas, a formação do gestor e do monitor, as práticas esportivas e os espaços físicos utilizados para a realização destas. As atividades esportivas foram o macrocampo com maior número de oferta nas escolas investigadas, mas estas não apresentavam a infraestrutura física para desenvolver as modalidades propostas pelo programa. Tais modalidades aconteciam sem organização didático-pedagógica, apresentando-se apenas como atividade de entretenimento após a jornada escolar obrigatória, funcionando os monitores como cuidadores. Portanto, a escola acaba por exercer a função social do estado de cuidar e proteger as crianças. O discurso ideológico presente nos programas e políticas de inserção social, mediante as atividades esportivas desenvolvidas no Programa Mais Educação as reconhece como um canal de socialização positivo ou de inclusão social distinguindo a importância dessas na formação da criança. É preciso assumir essa positividade das práticas esportivas nos projetos das escolas, possibilitando aos sujeitos atendidos pelo programa oportunidades de experimentar, praticar e desenvolver hábitos saudáveis através da execução das atividades físicas por meio dos esportes. / ABSTRACT Sporting activities are intrinsic components in building a comprehensive education model in Brazil and they are inserted in the More Education Program. The aim of this study was to identify whether the sports activities present incorporated and implemented as school political-pedagogical project and meet the program objectives in the School of the Salvador Municipal Network. The research was anchored in the policy cycle approach - the influence of contexts, text production and practice in public schools in Salvador, in the year 2014. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires and processed in a statistical program where they were analyzed dimensions defined as the political-pedagogical project of the analyzed schools, training manager and the monitor, sports practices and physical spaces used for the realization of these. Sports activities were macrocampo with more supply in the analyzed schools, but these did not have the physical infrastructure to develop the modalities proposed by the program. Such modalities happened without didactic-pedagogic organization, appearing only as a leisure activity after the compulsory school day, working monitors as caregivers. Therefore, the school turns out to exercise the state's social function to care for and protect children. The ideological discourse present in the programs and policies of social integration through sports activities in the More Education Program recognizes them as a positive socialization channel or social inclusion distinguishing the importance of the child's education. We need to take this positivity of sports practices in projects of schools, allowing the subjects enrolled in the program opportunities to experience, practice and develop healthy habits by implementing the physical activity through sports.

1 Abstract Title: Comparison of interest in sports activities between high school students in Prague and in Karlovy Vary region Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find and compare the interest in sport between two groups - high school students in Prague and Karlovy Vary region. Furthermore, the aim is also to find out the reason why students do sport or why students have even no interest in sport. Another objective is to find and compare the way how students in both regions spend their leisure time. Lastly, sports conditions were verified in both regions. Methods: Interest in sports activities has been investigated by using a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was specially created for this research. Results: Research has shown that the level of sport activity is higher by students from Karlovy Vary region than by students from Prague. Although the conditions for sports activities are worse in Karlovy Vary region than in Prague, students do sport more often and doing sport is more popular in comparison with other leisure time activities. Title: Possibilities of the use of sport facilities by wheelchairs in the Moravian region and the perception of their sport activities by the public Objective: The aim of the work is to prepare a list of sports clubs of wheelchairs and suitable indoor sports facilities for their activities in the Moravian region. Based on the knowledge it is possible to create a CD presentation, which can serve for staff of rehabilitation centers and the organizers of competitions for people with disability in the region. It would increase awareness of their clients about sports in this locality. Method: The thesis is presented as a preliminary study which used a quantitative research method in the public inquiry. A part of the thesis is a questionnaire survey - it focuses on public awareness of the Moravian- Silesian region of sport for disabled and the perception of architectural modifications. Idrott och Hälsa är ett skolämne som innehåller en mängd olika aktiviteter och moment i undervisningen. Studier visar att många av dessa aktiviteter och moment kan upplevas som jobbiga av deltagande elever. Det kan komma till uttryck på olika sätt, exempelvis genom att elever känner ångest, oro eller olust inför att delta i olika aktiviteter. Syftet med studien är att ta reda på hur vanligt förekommande det är att elever på gymnasiet upplever olika undervisningsmoment och aktiviteter i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa som mentalt jobbiga och om dessa upplevelser skiljer sig mellan könen. Undersökningen utfördes som en kvantitativ enkätstudie och deltagarna i undersökningen bestod av gymnasieelever. Frågor kring uppfattningar av aktiviteter och andra undervisningsmoment ställdes i ett försök att sammanställa om och i så fall vilket undervisningsinnehåll som elever uppfattar som jobbigt. Resultatet visar att flera av undervisningens aktiviteter och moment, däribland dans och motionsträning, upplevs som mentalt jobbiga av många elever. Resultatet visar också att det är en stor skillnad i uppfattning mellan tjejer och killar. I en jämförelse med tidigare forskning kring ämnet kunde även flera kopplingar dras mellan vilka uppfattningar som råder kring ämnet och dess undervisningsinnehåll. / Physical Education (PE) is a school subject that contains a variety of activities. Studies show us that many of these activities can be experienced as tough by participating students. It can appear in many different ways, such as feeling anxiety about participating in various activities. The purpose of the study is to find out how common it is for students in upper secondary school to experience different activities in the PE as mentally tough and if these experiences differ between boys and girls. The survey was conducted as a quantitative questionnaire study where participants in the survey consisted of high school students. Questions about perceptions of activities and other types of teaching elements were put in an attempt to compile if and if so, which PE-content students perceive as the most difficult. The result showed that many of the activities, including dance and competitive elements, are perceived as mentally tough by many students. The result also shows that there is a big difference in perception between girls and boys. In a comparison with previous research, several connections could be drawn between what perceptions prevail on the subject and its content.

Darbe atlikta fizinę negalią turinčių asmenų socializacijos sampratos analizė, identifikuotos neįgaliųjų įsitraukimo į taikomąją fizinę veiklą problemos, atskleistas taikomosios fizinės veiklos poveikis neįgaliųjų gyvenimo kokybei teoriniu aspektu. Iškelta hipotezė, kad neįgaliųjų dalyvaujančių sportinėje veikloje fizinio aktyvumo, pasitenkinimo gyvenimu ir požiūrio į savo negalią rodikliai yra geresni nei nedalyvaujančių neįgaliųjų. Anketinės apklausos metodu buvo atliktas tyrimas, kurio tikslas – palyginti sportuojančių ir nesportuojančių fiziškai neįgalių asmenų gyvenimo kokybės rodiklius. Tyrime dalyvavo 111 judėjimo negalią turinčių asmenų, patyrusių stuburo smegenų traumas. Empirinėje dalyje analizuojamas taikomosios fizinės ir sportinės veiklos poveikis judėjimo negalią turintiems asmenims psichosocialinių funkcijų aspektu. Svarbiausios empirinio tyrimo išvados: 1. Sportuojantys fizinę negalią turintys respondentai jaučia didesnį pasitenkinimą gyvenimu nei nesportuojantys. Fiziškai aktyvūs respondentai palankiau vertina savo psichinę sveikatą, be to sportuojančių apklaustųjų įtampą sukeliančių veiksnių rodikliai žemesni nei nesportuojančių. 2. Sportuojančių neįgaliųjų požiūris į savo negalią, kur kas palankesnis nei nesportuojančių. Fizine bei sportine veikla užsiimantys neįgalieji linkę labiau pasitikėti savo jėgomis, net ir tuomet kai jiems nesudarytos palankios sąlygos. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The analysis of socialization concept among persons having physical disability has been carried out in this work, in which the problems of the involvement of persons with physical disability into the applied physical activities have been identified, and the influence of applied physical activities on the quality of life of the disabled has been revealed in the theoretical aspect. The following hypothesis has been made: the index of quality of life of persons with physical disability and their approach towards their disability is better among the disabled who are involved in sports activities than among those who are not. Using the method of questionnaire survey the research has been carried out, where the main purpose was to compare the indexes of life quality among the disabled who were involved in sports activities than among those who were not. 111 persons who have the disability of movement have participated in this research. In the empirical part of this work the influence of the applied physical and sports activities for the disabled persons in the aspect of psychosocial functions has been analysed. Inattention et diplomation : le rôle protecteur du sport durant l'adolescence

Le trouble déficitaire de l'attention/hyperactivité (TDA/H) est une problématique qui touche un nombre important de jeunes Québécois. Un lien entre le TDA/H, plus particulièrement la composante inattention, et l’apparition de difficultés scolaires a été démontré à maintes reprises. Quelques études suggèrent que la pratique d'activités sportives pourrait influencer le lien entre l'inattention et les difficultés scolaires et augmenter ainsi la probabilité de perséverer dans les études et, conséquemment, d’obtenir un diplôme scolaire. La présente étude vise à examiner le lien entre l’inattention durant l’enfance et l’obtention du diplôme d’études secondaires, puis à vérifier si la pratique d'activités sportives durant l’adolescence influence ce lien. À cette fin, 1043 jeunes ont été suivis de 6 à 23 ans. Une analyse de régression logistique binaire de type hiérarchique a été utilisée pour tester les hypothèses proposées. D’une part, et tel que prévu, une forte association négative entre l’inattention et la diplomation est observée. Cette association demeure satistiquement significative après contrôle de différentes variables (hyperactivité, symptômes intériorisés, Q.I. et l’adversité familiale). La relation inattention-diplomation n’est toutefois pas modérée par la pratique d’activités sportives. Cette étude souligne l’importance de mettre en place des mesures efficaces pour permettre aux jeunes souffrant d’inattention d’avoir de meilleures chances de diplômer. / Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a mental health issue that many youths have to deal with. It is of great concern as many authors report a link between ADHD and academic problems. It has been shown that inattention levels contribute more to academic problems than hyperactivity levels per se. On the other hand, the results of few studies suggest that sport activities could influence the link between inattention and academic problems. The aims of this study was to investigate the link between inattention at the end of childhood and high school graduation and to examine the hypothesis that sport activities during adolescence could moderate that relation. To this end, 1043 youths were followed from 6 to 23 years old, as part of the Montreal longitudinal and experimental stud. Binary logistic regression analysis was conduct to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate a strong association between inattention and high school graduation. This relation remained statistically significant after controlling for associated problems (hyperactivity, internalized symptoms), I.Q., and familial adversity. The relation inattention-high school graduation was not moderated by sport activities, however. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing measures that could help youths with inattention problems achieving academic success.

Title: The Children and Youth Olympics in the Czech Republic in the sports, economy and marketing sphere Objectives: The main aim of this work is to analyse all the available documents of all the individual Children and Youth Olympics in the Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013 in the sports, economy and marketing sphere. Methods: Dissertation is divided into three parts based on data from relevant Czech Olympic Comittee documents. The first part is primarily about sport and analyses success of the Children and Youth Olympics athletes at International Games. The second part focuses on budget of particulars Games. And the third part contains analysis of marketing support - partnership, media support, merchandising and information leaflets. Results: We can observe positive results at all three areas - sports, economy and marketing. The Children and Youth Olympics s based on strong platform that helps to spread olympic idea among young people in the Czech Republic. Proposals and recommendations for future Games are based on detailed analysis and evaluation of all three parts. Title: Interest in Athletics and other activities for children aged 12 - 15 years. Objectives: To determine interest in athletics and other activities for children aged 12 to 15 years and to compare the responses of children from selected elementary schools and grammar schools. Methods: A questionnaire survey was used to meet the objectives. Questionnaires were distributed to two schools - Elementary School (ZS Jilovska) and Grammar School (Gymnázium Omska), of which neither one focuses on sports. Age group was between 12 to 15 years of age. Total of 359 questionnaires was collected. The main objective of the research was to determine the interest in sports and athletics beyond school physical education classes. In this study we investigated the activities in which children and young people engage in their leisure time; who motivates and supports them in sports, and how they relate to athletics. Results: The results showed that children and youth, despite the availability of today's modern techniques, are still interested in sports. Of the total number of 359 respondents, 23% of children chose sports as one of the leisure activities.
