[pt] Esta dissertação examina o sofrimento dos assistentes sociais no confronto com a realidade de trabalho nos abrigos. As categorias principais utilizadas foram: instituição total, sofrimento psíquico e burnout. A partir das observações e relatos dos trabalhadores, a pesquisa identificou fatores do cotidiano dos assistentes sociais que geram sofrimento e como estes profissionais vivenciam estes momentos de extremo desgaste físico e mental. O referido trabalho questiona o modelo de abrigamento vigente e aponta as suas repercussões na vida dos sujeitos abrigados e dos profissionais. Neste processo de sofrimento infligido aos assistentes sociais foi identificado profissionais que ainda lutam contra a expressão pública de seu sofrimento, alguns em estágios iniciais de descompensações psicopatológicas e outros visivelmente adoecidos. Ao final a pesquisa aponta elementos significativos, de ordem estrutural e da conjuntura, que possibilitam um debate sobre as dificuldades vividas nesta relação de trabalho e discute as estratégias de enfrentamento ao sofrimento experimentado pelos assistentes sociais. Ainda que sob uma abordagem diferenciada, estas reflexões consequentemente se voltam para a qualidade dos serviços oferecidos e enfim para a ampliação dos horizontes de cidadania dos sujeitos. / [en] This article analyzes the distress of social workers in conflict with the reality of work in shelters. The main categories discussed are: complete institution/ establishment, psychic torment and burnout. From the observation and workers´ reports, the research identified aspects of the everyday activities of social workers that produce suffering and how these professionals experience these moments of extreme mental and physical consumption. The above mentioned work questions the present sheltering model and points out its consequences on the lives of the sheltered subjects and professionals. In this process of affliction imposed to workers, it identified cases of professionals who still struggles against the public expression of their suffering, some in initial stages of psycopathological instabilities and others clearly ill. At the end, the research points out meaningful elements of structural and junctural nature, what enables a debate about the difficulties experienced in this working relationship and discusses the strategies to overlook the suffering undergone by social workers. Though taking a different approach, these considerations consequently focus on the quality of work and on the horizon enlargement of subjects´ citizenship.

[pt] Esta tese tem como objetivo mostrar que a concepção de sobre-humanidade em Nietzsche não é uma figura de retórica, uma ficção, um ideal e comprovar tal visão através da sua própria obra. Através da análise rigorosa das tipologias morais do nobre e do escravo, pretende-se mostrar que possíveis atributos do sobre-humano tem um parentesco aproximado e uma herança importante com as descrições que Nietzsche empreende acerca do espírito aristocrático. Com tudo isso, quer-se mostrar que Nietzsche pensou o sobre-humano como alternativa radical a isto que chamamos de viver a vida, como resposta a nossos pequenos prazeres, estratégias de sobrevivência, interesses mesquinhos, enfim, mostrar que o sobre-humano vai nos obrigar a pensar sobre nossos conflitos pequeno- burgueses e seus falsos problemas, medos e covardias. / [en] Through a rigourous analysis, this thesis wants to show that the conception of the overman, in Nietzsche, it is not a mere rhetorical or metaphorical figure, na ideal or a fiction. We intend to prove through the conception of the noble and slave morality that the overman has inherited possible attributes and characteristics of the spirit of the aristocrat. After all, we want to demonstrate that Nietzsche conceived the overman as a radical alternative to what we call to live and enjoy life, as an answer to our little pleasures, strategies of survival, petty interests and to show that the overman constrains us to reflect about our littlle bougeois conflicts with it´s false problems, fears and cowardicwe.

[pt] O sofrimento humano, a busca por suas causas e suas explicações compõem um tema essencial no cristianismo ocidental. Desde a Patrística, as variáveis faces do sofrimento humano têm sido predominantemente compreendidas e justificadas a partir de um pessimismo antropológico, com uma relação direta entre a culpa pelo pecado e o castigo divino. Desse modo, a reflexão acerca do sofrimento humano está ligada à própria reflexão sobre a imagem do Deus cristão, historicamente descrito como um ser supremo, apático, perfeito, inabalável, impassível, todo-poderoso, juiz castigador. A partir dessa concepção teológica, que ainda encontra eco no pensamento cristão, o que se pretende é apresentar um caminho de sua superação, ressignificando o sofrimento humano, assim como a própria imagem de Deus. Para tanto, tal percurso será construído através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica qualitativa de abordagem dialética a partir de um diálogo entre o pensamento do teólogo alemão Jürgen Moltmann com o sofrimento humano e com a concepção de Deus, especificamente a partir das suas perspectivas cristológicas e trinitárias, culminando em sua teopatia. Dividido em três partes, o caminho proposto se inicia com a reflexão acerca do sofrimento humano na história do cristianismo ocidental, desde a Patrística, passando pela Idade Média, chegando à Modernidade e os atuais dias pandêmicos. Em seguida, a pesquisa se debruça sobre o sofrimento de Deus, teopatia proposta por Moltmann cujo ápice se encontra encarnado no phatos divino do Gólgota, sofrimento pelo amor levado às últimas circunstâncias. Na terceira parte, a pesquisa se dedica às implicações da teopatia moltmanianna para a teologia e para a igreja, partindo do pressuposto de que o sofrimento humano é o sofrimento de Deus, sofrimento que leva à morte, mas que é superado eternamente na história humana pela ressurreição do Deus crucificado e pela celebração da vida, com implicações relevantes na teologia e na igreja, superando a culpa humana e apatia divina diante do sofrimento. / [en] Human suffering, the search for its causes and explanations make up an essential theme in Western Christianity. Since Patristics, the variable faces of human suffering have been predominantly understood and justified from an anthropological pessimism, with a direct relationship between guilt for sin and divine punishment. In this way, reflection on human suffering is linked to reflection on the image of the Christian God, historically described as a supreme, apathetic, perfect, unshakable, impassive, all-powerful, punishing judge. From this theological conception, which still finds an echo in Christian thought, what is intended is to present a way of overcoming it, re-signifying human suffering, as well as the very image of God. To this end, such a path will be built through a qualitative bibliographical research of a dialectical approach based on a dialogue between the thought of the German theologian Jürgen Moltmann with human suffering and with the conception of God, specifically from his Christological and Trinitarian perspectives, culminating in his theopathy. Divided into three parts, the proposed path begins with a reflection on human suffering in the history of Western Christianity, from Patristics, through the Middle Ages, to Modernity and the current pandemic days. Then, the research focuses on the suffering of God, theopathy proposed by Moltmann whose apex is found incarnated in the divine pathos of Golgotha, suffering for love taken to the last circumstances. In the third part, the research is dedicated to the implications of Moltmannian theopathy for theology and for the church, starting from the assumption that human suffering is the suffering of God, suffering that leads to death, but which is eternally overcome in human history by resurrection of the crucified God and the celebration of life, with relevant implications for theology and the church, overcoming human guilt and divine apathy in the face of suffering.

[pt] O sofrimento é um fenômeno universal. Desde a Grécia Antiga, a humanidade depara-se com situações de dor, adversidades e luto e questiona-se acerca da relação entre o mal e a ação de Deus no mundo. A filosofia e a teologia tentam dar conta da incompatibilidade entre os atributos divinos e a existência do mal até os dias atuais. A recente pandemia da Covid-19 reacendeu os debates sobre Deus e o sofrimento humano, impulsionando a Igreja a se posicionar em uma sociedade acometida por perdas e sequelas. Deste modo, o presente estudo concentra-se no contexto batista brasileiro atual, analisando as justificativas teológicas para o sofrimento nas comunidades e seus impactos na fé e prática eclesial. Neste sentido, por meio de revisão bibliográfica, são analisadas sucintamente as transformações nas concepções sobre sofrimento a partir da Reforma Protestante, sobretudo em Lutero; a gênese e configurações da Igreja Batista no Brasil; as perspectivas no cenário atual, averiguando-se as influências das doutrinas neopentecostais e calvinistas na denominação. Por fim, é realizada uma pesquisa em profundidade com pastores e membros de diferentes igrejas batistas para analisar suas ressignificações para o sofrimento e as implicações em suas experiências religiosas. O trabalho evidencia a configuração teológica plural da Igreja Batista, resultado da autonomia das igrejas locais, bem como de uma denominação orientada por princípios e não de uma doutrina específica. Tal pluralidade manifesta-se também na diversidade de ressignificações para o sofrimento nas congregações. Apesar disto, percebe-se uma unidade na confiança em Deus mesmo nas adversidades e na empatia para com os que sofrem. / [en] Suffering is a universal phenomenon. Since Ancient Greece, humanity has faced situations of pain, adversity and mourning and has questioned itself about the relationship between evil and God s action in the world. Philosophy and theology attempt to account for the incompatibility between divine attributes and the existence of evil until nowadays. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has reignited debates about God and human suffering, spurring the Church to position itself in a society beset by losses and sequelae. Thus, the present study focuses on the current Brazilian Baptist context, analyzing the theological justifications for suffering in local communities and their impacts on ecclesial faith and practice. In this sense, through a bibliographic review, this work concisely approaches the transformations in the conceptions of suffering from the Protestant Reformation, especially in Luther; the genesis and configurations of the Baptist church in Brazil; theological perspectives in the current scenario, verifying the influences of Neopentecostal and Calvinist doctrines in the denomination. Finally, in-depth research is carried out with pastors and members of different Baptist churches to analyze their resignifications of suffering and its implications in their religious experiences. The study highlights the plural theological configuration of the Baptist church, which is a consequence of the autonomy of local churches and of the fact that this denomination is oriented by principles, not by a specific doctrine. Such plurality is also manifested in the diversity of resignifications for suffering in the congregations. Despite this, Baptists show a sense of a unity in trusting God even in adversity and in their empathy for those who suffer.

[pt] O processo de doença, tratamento e hospitalização na criança suscita inúmeros afetos, tais como, medo, desamparo, sofrimento, frustração, ansiedade e angústia. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar as implicações envolvidas no adoecimento infantil a partir do referencial teórico da psicologia hospitalar e da psicanálise, ilustrado por vinhetas clínicas e falas de crianças doentes que se submeteram ou ainda irão se submeter ao transplante de medula óssea. As narrativas das crianças que participaram deste estudo foram colhidas durante a internação e acompanhamento ambulatorial. Não foi utilizado nenhum tipo de roteiro ou entrevista, portanto, foram privilegiadas as falas espontâneas e informais das crianças, durante os atendimentos psicológicos ou em conversas informais com a equipe de saúde. No decorrer desta dissertação identificou-se que a fragilidade egóica e o sofrimento psíquico fazem parte do processo de adoecimento infantil, onde as representações afetivas são carregadas de intensidade. Constatou-se que por mais frágil que a criança possa apresentar-se, muitas delas conseguem superar as adversidades e dores que a doença e o tratamento impõe às suas vidas. Através deste estudo, portanto, encontram-se indicativos que demonstram que a criança tem a dimensão da representação da doença, tratamento e agravamento do seu estado clínico a partir do reconhecimento das transformações ocorridas em sua vida e sintomas que se apresentam em seu corpo. / [en] In Children, the process that occurs during a disease its treatment and hospitalization raise many emotions such as fear, helplessness, suffering, frustration, anxiety and distress. Specifically, children undergoing bone marrow transplant experience physical discomfort not only due to the aggressive nature of the treatment but also the imminent risk of death. This study aims to investigate the implications involved in the childs sickness from a psychoanalytical and health psychology point of view as illustrated by clinical vignettes and narratives of sick children who have undergone or will undergo bone marrow transplantation. Children were interviewed during hospitalization and also outpatients. No script of any type was used during the interview, so we focused on the spontaneous responses of children that occurred during the psychological or informal conversations with the health team. Throughout this thesis it was found that the fragile ego and psychic suffering are part of the process of infant illness, and that the children s responses are laden with emotional intensity. It was found that although the child is fragile, many of them can overcome the adversities and pain that the disease and treatment impose on their lives. Through this study we find indications that the child has an understanding of the seriousness of the disease, its treatment and worsening clinical status based on the recognition of the changes occurring in his life and symptoms that are present in his body.

[pt] A busca pelo mistério, como manifestação do sagrado na vida, norteia o desejo dos homens e mulheres do nosso tempo, de forma cada vez mais instigadora. Simone Weil oferece-nos um paradigma, tanto na sua biografia como nos seus escritos, em busca do mistério no coração da experiência humana. Qual o alcance e o significado do seu testemunho pessoal podemos encontrar nos limites entre o necessário e o gratuito: enquanto mística, por situar o desejo do coração humano para além dos objetos de gratificação, produzidos na sociedade técnicocientífica e, enquanto ética, ao estabelecer uma fonte de sentido que norteia o agir, sustentado pelo bem? A partir da leitura e interpretação das obras do período social e, sobretudo religioso de Simone Weil, procuramos responder a essa clássica questão da Teologia, indicando a convergência entre o mistério de absoluta gratuidade, presente nos limites da experiência humana, levando em consideração as noções de Atenção, Descriação, Mediação e Enraizamento, e o seu empenho em favor dos humilhados, através da compaixão e da solidariedade de Deus nos seres humanos habitados pela graça. / [en] The search for mystery, as a manifestation of what is sacred in life, directs the desire of the men and women of our time, inciting them more and more. Simone Weil offers us a model, both in her biography and in her writings, in search of mystery at the heart of human experience. What is the extent and the meaning of her personal testimony that we can find within the limits between what is necessary and what is gratuitous: on one hand mystic, because the desire of the human heart goes beyond objects of gratuity which are produced in our technical-scientific society, and on the other hand ethic, establishing a source of meaning that guides actions, sustained by good? From the reading and interpretation of the works from the social and particularly the religious period of Simone Weil, we attempt to answer this classic question of theology, showing the convergence between the mystery of absolute gratuity, present in the limits of human experience, bearing in mind the notions of Attention, De-creation, Mediation and Taking Root, and the struggle on behalf of those who are humiliated, through the compassion and the solidarity of God in those human beings inhabited by grace.

[pt] O presente trabalho procura desenvolver mais um diálogo entre teologia e literatura. Tomando como referenciais a escatologia cristã e Orfeu da Conceição de Vinícius de Moraes, a pesquisa discorrerá sobre temas como sofrimento, morte e luto, correspondentes entre si nestas suas fontes principais, visando encontrar contribuições para uma teologia mais relevante e acessível. Num primeiro momento, serão levantadas as informações a respeito do poeta e sua obra especificando informações relativas à peça teatral com vistas a demonstrar como nela é expresso, da parte do poeta, opiniões sobre os temas do sofrimento, da morte e do luto. Para isso serão examinadas: as questões relativas à violência presente nas brigas descritas pelo poeta; as duas mortes ocorridas na narrativa; e, os lutos vividos pelas personagens da peça. Num segundo momento, serão apresentados pareceres teóricos da teologia relativos aos temas do sofrimento, em suas causas e em sua presença incontestável na realidade humana; da morte, entendida como parte constitutiva da vida e como expressão limite da existência; e do luto, enquanto expressão de amor do enlutado por aqueles que se foram. Essas proposições têm por objetivo acrescer à pesquisa a chave de leitura da peça teatral, a fim de desenvolver sustentação teológica para o diálogo pretendido. Num terceiro momento, a pesquisa realizará a síntese entre os dos campos do saber, a literatura e a teologia, demonstrando suas correspondências entre os temas do sofrimento, da morte e do luto em ambas e contribuições por elas oferecidas para o campo teológico. / [en] The present work seeks to develop another dialogue between theology and literature. Taking as reference the Christian eschatology and Orfeu da Conceição from Vinícius de Moraes, the research will speak about subjects such as suffering, death and mourning, related to each other in these main sources, with the intention to find contributions for a more relevant and accessible theology. At a first moment, information about the poet and his work will be taken into consideration, specifying information related to the piece theatrical with a view to demonstrate how it is expressed, and the poet s opinions about the subjects suffering, death and mourning. This will be examined: the issues related to violence present in the fights described by the poet; the two deaths occurred in the narrative; and, the mourning experienced by the characters in the play. At a second moment, theology theory related to the subjects suffering, in its causes and in its undeniable presence in human reality; death, understood as a constitutive part of life and as the limiting expression of existence; and mourning, as an expression of love of the mourner for those who are gone. These propositions are aimed at, for purposes of adding to the research the key of reading the play, seeking the development of theological support for the intended dialogue. At a third moment, the research will synthesize the fields of knowledge, literature and theology, demonstrating their correlations , between the themes of suffering, death and mourning in both, and contributions contributions they offer to the theological field.

[pt] A tese trata do aconselhamento pastoral em perspectiva integral. Dessa forma, apresenta tanto uma breve análise dos traços característicos deste tempo e suas influências sobre os sujeitos humanos, com ênfase nos aspectos que tendem a desestabilizar a experiência existencial, quanto discorre sobre as mais destacadas escolas de aconselhamento pastoral, suas intuições e estratégias de acolhimento das inquietudes e angústias dos que demandam apoio e cuidado. Evidencia a relevância da elaboração de novo modelo de aconselhamento capaz de lidar com a intricada gramatica do sofrimento em nossos dias. Para tanto, destaca a necessidade vital da renovação de esforços que visem superar os dualismos que empobrecem as ações curativas da Igreja Cristã, bem como ultrapassar as barreiras que impedem a enriquecedora troca conversacional entre os diversos saberes e entre as variadas comunidades de fé. A pesquisa aponta ainda para Cristo, maravilhoso conselheiro, como modelo por excelência da atividade e ação dos eclesianos e das eclesianas engajados na promoção do bem-estar integral da família humana. Além disso, reflete sobre a tradição do povo de Deus e a natureza terapêutica da igreja como fontes de inspiração e motivação para a prática do cuidado interpessoal. Conclui que o aconselhamento pastoral integral, por consequência, dialógico, ecumênico, honestamente aberto para interações francas, respeitosas e enriquecedoras, consiste na expressão mais eficaz e abrangente dessa modalidade de ajuda oferecida pela comunidade Cristã. Este trabalho busca dar contribuição singela para o desenvolvimento deste modelo de aconselhamento. / [en] The thesis deals with pastoral counselling from a rounded perspective. Therefore it presents both a brief analysis of the characteristic traces of this time and its influences on human subjects, with emphasis on the aspects that tend to destabilize the existential experience, while it describes the most outstanding schools of pastoral counselling, its intuitions and strategies to accommodate the concerns and anxieties of those who require support and care. It shows the relevance of the elaboration of a new model of counselling, capable of dealing with the intricate grammar of suffering in our days. With views to this, we underline the vital necessity of renewing efforts to surpass the dualisms that impoverish the healing actions of the Christian Church, as well as overcoming the barriers that hinder the enriching conversational exchange among the different fields of knowledge and diverse faith communities. The research still points to Christ, marvelous counsellor, as a model par excellence for church members activity and action for the full well-being of the human family. In addition to this, it reflects on the tradition of God s people and the therapeutic nature of the church as sources of inspiration and motivation for the practice of interpersonal care. We conclude that rounded pastoral counselling, and consequently, dialogical, ecumenical, honestly open to frank, respectful and enriching interactions, consists in the most effective and encompassing expression of this type of help offered by the Christian community. This paper strives to give a simple contribution to the development of this counselling model.

[pt] O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar as repercussões psíquicas da cirurgia bariátrica em pacientes obesos. Buscaremos articular a prática, a pesquisa e a teoria psicanalítica com os depoimentos coletados pela autora, psicóloga membro da equipe de cirurgia bariátrica de um hospital público no Rio de Janeiro. Destacaremos o sofrimento psíquico causado pelo estigma social da obesidade, que estimula a procura por métodos radicais, como a cirurgia de redução de estômago. Em seguida, abordaremos algumas contribuições trazidas pela psicanálise ao atendimento clínico de pacientes obesos. Por último, analisaremos o grupo operativo realizado com os pacientes do ambulatório de psicologia do hospital, buscando promover sua saúde mental. / [en] The purpose of this work is to investigate the psychological repercussions of bariatric surgery on obese patients. We will articulate psychoanalytical practice, research and theory with patient testimonials collected by the author, a psychologist member of the bariatric surgery staff at a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro. We will highlight the psychological suffering caused by the social stigma of obesity, which stimulates the search for radical methods, such as gastric surgery. Then, we will examine the contributions made by psychoanalysis to the clinical treatment of obese patients. Finally, we will analyze the operative group carried out with psychological outpatients of the hospital, in order to promote their mental health.

[pt] O processo de envelhecimento populacional deu início a diversos questionamentos sobre a qualidade de vida dos idosos, a capacidade do mercado de trabalho absorver essas pessoas e a idade da aposentadoria. Nesse contexto de mudanças, as principais empresas de consultoria e auditoria denominadas Big Four obrigam seus sócios a se aposentar por volta dos sessenta anos, o que nem sempre atende aos anseios desses profissionais. Este estudo buscou entender os aspectos de prazer e sofrimento de ex-sócios dessas empresas frente à sua carreira e a sua atual vivência de aposentadoria. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa em que foram entrevistados sete ex-sócios de três das quatro empresas Big Four, todos residentes no Rio de Janeiro. O resultado indica que tanto os prazeres quanto os sofrimentos vividos no dia-a-dia profissional são ressignificados, ao serem lembrados pelos entrevistados, atualmente aposentados. No que diz respeito à trajetória profissional pregressa, o principal sofrimento relatado refere-se ao pouco tempo dedicado à vida familiar. Já o prazer estava associado ao fato de terem atingindo suas metas e terem contribuído para a empresa. No que diz respeito à experiência de aposentadoria, o prazer está em fazer aquilo que não se pôde dedicar ao longo da carreira, como o convívio com a família e viagens, além da sensação de dever profissional cumprido e da perspectiva de criar novos desafios e nunca parar de trabalhar. Os sofrimentos nessa fase estão muitas vezes associados a questões que os entrevistados esperaram para aproveitar somente em sua aposentadoria, mas que devido a acasos da vida, não estão conseguindo. / [en] The process of population aging has initiated several questions about the quality of life of the elderly, the capacity of the labor market to absorb these people and the age of retirement. In this context of change, the major consulting and auditing firms called the Big Four compel their members to retire in their sixties, which does not always meet the expectations of these professionals. This study seeks to understand the aspects of pleasure and suffering of former members of these companies, in front of their career and how these experiences influenced the perception of these in front of their retirement. This is a qualitative survey in which 7 former members of three of the four companies located in Rio de Janeiro were interviewed. The result indicates that both the pleasures and the sufferings lived in the professional day-to-day are re-signified, when reminded by the interviewees, currently retired. The main suffering reported, referring to the previous professional trajectory, it is linked to the little time dedicated to family life. Pleasure is associated with the fact that they have reached their goals and contributed to the company. Concerning the retirement experience, the pleasure is in doing what they could not dedicate in the course of their career, such as living with family and travel, as well as the sense of professional duty fulfilled and the perspective of creating new challenges and never stopping in working. The sufferings at this stage are often associated with issues that the respondents waited to enjoy only in their retirement, but due to the accidents of life, they can t achieve.
