考慮韋伯分配下兩個相依製程之管制 / Process Control for Two Dependent Subprocess under Weibull Shock Model

Today, most products are produced by several dependent subprocesses. This paper considers the economic-statistical process control for two dependent subprocesses with two assignable causes following Weibull shock distributions. We construct the individual X control chart to monitor the in-coming quality produced by previous process, and use the cause-selecting control chart to monitor the specific quality produced by current process. By using the charts, we can effectively and economically distinguish which subprocess is out of control. The renewal theorem approach is extended to construct the cost model for our proposed control charts, and the successive quadratic programming algorithm and a finite difference gradient method in the Fortran IMSL subroutine (dnconf) is used to determine the optimal design parameters of the proposed control charts. Finally, we give an example to show how to construct and apply the proposed control charts. Furthermore, the sensitivity analysis illustrates the effects of cost and process parameters on the optimal design parameters and the minimal expected cost per unit time for the proposed control charts.

量測誤差對X-S2管制圖設計參數之影響

隨著經濟不斷的發展,企業間的競爭也愈趨激烈,因此在以利潤最大、付出成本最小的前提下,一些可能造成成本增加的因素就不能不重視。在量測產品的特性所使用的量測機器,可能因為量測設備的不精確造成誤差,進而影響測量產品品質特性的實際值。是以量測儀器測量產品特性時的誤差對於管制圖的設計參數的影響及使用管制圖監控製程的能力是我們所關切的課題。 本文探討量測誤差對 — 管制圖的效應。運用George Tagaras非對稱管制圖的概念,及同時考慮Taguchi的損失函數和測量誤差下,以更新理論方法建立 — 管制圖,並推導出目標函數,再透過最佳化的技巧以決定 — 管制圖的最佳經濟設計參數值。另外討論管制圖在統計層面的表現,並與經濟設計的結果作比較。 在資料分析方面,本研究考慮32組製程和成本參數組合,透過最佳化技巧找出 — 經濟及經濟統計管制圖之最小單位時間平均成本及最佳設計參數組合。再利用敏感度分析,觀察量測誤差對設計參數的影響,另外得知重要的製程和成本參數為何。這些可作為製程工程師決策參考之用。

台灣地區大學院校圖書館教授指定參考書服務之調查研究 / The survey research of reserve service in college and university libraries in Taiwan

培養學生自我學習的能力是大學教育的重要目標,為了支援教學研究,大學圖書館常設有教授指定參考書的服務。在圖書館有限的經費與空間限制下,指定參考書可以保障學生使用課堂所需資料的權利、減少學生的負擔,並方便學生使用。本研究的目的是為了瞭解台灣地區大學院校圖書館中,館員對於教授指定參考書的看法、各校的設置情形、管理方式以及實施上的困難,並尋求最佳的管理方式。 本研究採用問卷調查法,調查對象為台灣地區96個大學院校圖書館,問卷回收率達94.79 %,其中有效問卷計89份。在回收的問卷中,有69個(約77.5 %)的圖書館表示目前有提供此項服務。 研究結果顯示,幾乎所有受訪館員,對於指定參考書支援教學的基本功能都抱持高度的肯定。一般而言,由於借閱期限和使用地點的限制,而影響到其他讀者的權利是指定參考書最大的缺點。指定參考書多沒有一個獨立的存放區域,而是最常被放置在參考室或流通區,由參考館員或流通館員兼管。指定參考資料的類型趨於多樣化,不再限於館藏內的紙本書籍。此外,國內大學圖書館對於著作權的保護不夠完善,沒有制定與指定參考書服務相關的影印政策,且在重製資料前並未徵求著作權人同意。多數的圖書館也缺乏定期的統計和評鑑。圖書館在提供此項服務時,最常遭遇的困難則為教師的參與意願不高。 針對調查結果,本研究建議指定參考書的規劃應與館藏發展政策相互配合,方能更適切的滿足學生需求。國內應成立著作權仲介團體,並訂定適合我國國情的非營利教育機構合理使用規範,供圖書館作為提供指定參考書服務時的依循。未來教授指定參考書要朝向電子化的方向努力,提昇使用的便捷性。圖書館應定期進行指定考書服務的統計、評鑑,以做有效的規劃與預測。向教師宣導指定參考書之意義及重要性,並加強教學過程與圖書館資源的密切配合,以教學圖書館的概念培養學生自我學習的能力。 / Reserve services have existed in libraries for many years. They provide special access to a limited number of materials. Photocopied articles , library books and non-library items such as instructor-owned book are often placed on reserve to support class assignments or supplemental course reading. This thesis describes the current status of the reserve service in the college and university libraries in Taiwan based on responses to questionnaires sent to the directors of such libraries. The survey was conducted in March 1999. The questionnaires were sent to ninety-six college and university libraries , and ninety-one institutions participated. The questionnaire had six main components : (1)librarian opinion about reserve service, (2)whether the library provide reserve service, (3)management of reserve collection, (4)copyright protective policy, (5)automation, and (6)difficulties.

選舉模式預測之探討與分析--民國八十六年縣市選舉

隨著台灣民主政治的成長、發展與進步,政治訊息與政治行為已經成為民眾在日常生活中一部分。而在這些政治現象的研究中,「選舉研究」,尤其是投票行為的研究及選與預測的論述,也隨著問卷設計、抽樣技術與分析方法的進步而有著蓬勃的發展。 本文即是利用民國八十六年縣市長選舉的民意調查資料,將兩種得票率預測模型:「政治版圖預測模型」與「邏輯斯(logistic)預測模型」做一整合研究與結果的比較,並且利用其它預測模型的優點與長處,配合已有的經驗法則和選舉的結果,不僅比對其預測結果的差異大小,也嘗試著找出另一更準確,更有效的預測模型。 在比較了預測方法的準確性之後,發現「政治版圖模型」在只有兩黨競爭的縣市有著相當佳的預測結果;而「邏輯斯(logistic)預測模型」卻是明確得表現了民意調查中選民的意向並在變天的縣市中有著較好的表現。但是如果在候選人實力差不多的選區中,則是建議採用以這兩種模型為主體的混合型模型來進行預測,其預測結果確較前兩種模型的預測來得好。

在子製程相關下所產生的品質特性資料使Shewhart管制圖無法對各別的製程狀態加以解釋,而選控圖可診斷前後製程的責任歸屬。本文提出有n個子製程時,建立選控圖的方法及在製程上之應用,以追蹤製程變異之發生,明確地劃分出子製程的責任歸屬。文中並以模擬資料和實際例證說明,在相關品質特性的資料中,選控圖的建立及診斷效果。在實務上,若產品是由許多相關的子製程共同製造而成時,對於受到前製程影響的品質特性,即可用選控圖進行管制,以獲得正確的製程狀態訊息,並進一步採取正確的管制行動。

九年級學生如何處理直線型位置-時間圖之研究 / A study of 9th grade students’ comprehension of the linear position-time graph

本研究的目的在於了解九年級國中學生在處理直線型的位置–時間圖形 時,是否可真實操作物體的運動狀態,及了解圖形中所隱含的數學概念。 本研究將位置–時間圖設計成十張工具圖形作為研究工具,隨機抽取十二 名國中九年級學生,男女各六位,透過半結構性晤談,以蒐集個案在處理直線 型的位置–時間圖時,是否可操作物體的真實運動狀態,以及能否掌握圖形中 所隱含的數學概念逐一作深入的探討,再以質化的方式分析及統整所蒐集的資 料,得到的結論如下: 一、學生數學的斜率、截距能力不足,以致影響位置–時間圖的學習。 二、學生圖形表徵的理解薄弱,以致於無法應用數學能力及解釋真實現象。 根據本研究的結果,可提出下列建議: 一、數學教學應加強與科學領域之連結 二、數學教學應著重抽象符號與真實情境之連結 三、科學教學應輔導學生建立新舊知識之遷移 四、數學教學應善用多元教學資源,以協助學生進行多元智慧之學習 在未來的研究方向,可考慮不同的研究對象、題目型態或是繼續擴大研究 至速度–時間圖、加速度–時間圖,加強科學與數學的知識理論應用於生活中。 / The purpose of this study is to understand whether 9th grade students can actually manipulate the states of motion of objects and understand the concepts of mathematics embedded in the graphs when they are dealing with the linear position— time graphs. Ten tool graphs were designed based on the position-time graph as the research tools in this study. Twelve 9th grade students, 6 males and 6 females, were chosen randomly. Through doing semi-structured interviews, the researcher collected the data and deeply explored whether participants could manipulate the states of motion of objects and comprehend the mathematical concepts embedded in the graphs when they were dealing with the linear position time graphs. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively and organized. The conclusions are as follows: 1. The students’ capability of slope and intercept in mathematics is insufficient, and it influences their learning of the position-time graphs. 2. Students only have little understanding of the presentation of the graphs. Thus, they cannot apply mathematical abilities or interpret real phenomena. Following suggestions are provided according to the conclusions in this study: 1. Mathematical teaching should be emphasized on the connection with the science domain. 2. Mathematical teaching should highlight the connection between abstract symbols and real situations 3. Science teaching should guide the students to transfer the new knowledge to the learned knowledge. 4. Multiple teaching resources should be used properly to help students proceed to learn multiple intelligences. The direction of further studies can aim at different participants, different patterns of questions or expanding the study on speed-time graphs and acceleration-time graphs to apply the knowledge and theories of science and mathematics in life.

遠距照護產業營運模式-以心電圖監測為例 / A Study on Telemedicine Industry Business Model – Taking ECG Monitoring as an Example

隨著少子化、老年化的時代來臨,以「銀髮族」為目標客戶的產業前景看好。全世界已開發國家人口老化日趨嚴重,社會醫療成為各國財政越來越沈重的包袱,於是以提升高齡者自立能力、降低醫療負擔,提高生活品質為目的的「遠距照護產業」備受重視。相較於其它先進國家,我國遠距照護產業發展較晚。衛生署主導的「遠距照護試辦計畫」第一階試辦已完成,目前進入第二階段擴大推廣。因而,本論文探討的核心問題,在於如何建立成功的遠距照護產業營運模式。 本論文選擇遠距照護應用中的「遠距心電圖監測」作為研究標的,乃因心電圖監測技術已有成熟發展,且全世界心臟病人口日益增加,值得投資。本論文修改技術與市場二分法的研究模式,除了「產業環境」與「營運模式分析」,更將「專利」與「查驗登記制度」納入研究環節。技術、專利與查驗登記制度雖非傳統營運模式分析的重要核心,但對於發展此產品、服務,有一定的影響。由於美國遠距心電圖產監測業發展較我國成熟,本論文比較美國與台灣發展現況,並選擇兩家於美國提供遠距心電圖監測服務的LifeWatch AG與CardioNet, Inc.作為個案研究的對象。 研究結果發現,遠距心電圖監測服務在美國主要用於輔助醫師診斷心臟疾病。不受限於環境,長期連續不間斷監測心電圖的特性,使其市場表現快速成長。美國成功建構產業的關鍵在於完善的商業機制。此外,亦發現美國針對六十五歲以上高齡人口的政府保險Medicare,其給付金額對市場發產有舉足輕重的影響,值得我國政府借鏡。建議台灣應該在保護民眾生命財產安全,以及發展產業之間取得平衡,建構一個適合發展創新技術、創新服務的產業環境。 此外,研究結果發現,台灣尚未能成功發展遠距心電圖監測服務的關鍵,並非技術,而是商業模式。台灣以保守的醫院為服務窗口的營運策略,是衛生署比擬全民健保機制,推動年長者長期健康照護制度的產物,屬於社會福利的性質,與發展產業的概念背道而馳,而且成本過高。另一方面,民眾沒有長期測量生理參數的習慣,拓展市場不易,此二者為台灣長期推動服務失敗的主要原因。因此,本研究最後建議,應捨棄以醫院為中心的服務模式,設計一套能夠被民眾廣為接受的營運模式,提供彈性的價格與服務,搭配適當的宣傳,方能突破現狀。 / Population aging is getting more and more serious among developed countries, as well as the extremely heavy medical treatment budgets. Consequently, governments start to think about how to make medical service more efficient by means of information technology; businessmen start to provide telemedicine service, in order to let the elder live more independently and healthier. A pilot remote health care project, held by the Department of Health, is moving to the second stage this year. Many telemedicine service centers had been built in the hospitals at the first stage, and now government is seeking for more hospitals and companies setting up more service centers in Taiwan. This is time to check weather it is a good business model worthy of working on, or there is a better way to develop telemedicine business. Remote ECG monitoring is one of the typical telemedicine services. Many people are suffering from cardiac disease in developed countries, and there are already some successful business models in the U.S. This is the reason why this studies focuses on remote ECG monitoring. This study takes into account technology, patent, FDA regulations, markets, and industrial environment aspects. Usually, only markets and industrial environment would be taken into account in this kinds of theses. Technology, patents, and FDA regulations, however, may have significant impact on business. The purpose of this essay is to advice to Taiwan, by comparing the difference between the U.S. model and Taiwan model, and analyzing two cases, LifeWatch AG and CardioNet, Inc.. According to the above surveys, remote ECG monitoring is mostly used for diagnosis. The key factor is the well-built U.S. medical system. The U.S. governmental health insurance, the Medicare, has huge influence on remote the ECG monitoring industry. The medical treatment system is open and well-governed, and suits for incubating new products. Although the medical system is relatively conservative in Taiwan, it is recommended that the Taiwan government should create some mechanisms that will encourage innovative telemedicine services. There are two reasons that make remote ECG monitoring services in Taiwan is not as successful as those in the U.S. Firstly, the services are provided by hospitals. Hospitals are conservative, and services doctors are expensive. So, there are less innovative business models, and the costs rocket high. Monitoring centers should be set outside the hospitals. Secondly, patients don’t “feel” the benefit from monitoring ECG constantly, so usually they quit the services in the second month. Therefore, marketing and promotion should be taking place. Services and prices should be more flexible and cost-effective as well. At this moment, the biggest challenge of remote ECG monitoring is business model, not technology, FDA regulations, or even patents

基於反應-擴散之傳統獸面紋圖樣對應產生技術 / The pattern generation technology of traditional animal-mask decoration based on reaction-diffusion

中國歷代的各種藝術品與建築上富有多樣的裝飾紋樣,多是古人根據自然現象與生物的觀察加以風格化而成。而非相片寫實電腦繪圖技術(Non-photorealistic Rendering)之目的是分析各種繪畫形式的規則並且建立出一套生成系統。本論文以裝飾紋路中的傳統獸面紋圖樣做為研究對象及發展其生成技術,分析傳統獸面紋結構並找出生物與獸面紋間的關聯性,對資料庫進行結構性比對方法來進行五官特徵的生成並改善現有著作之成果。在花紋特徵生成上,應用了反應-擴散(Reaction-Diffusion)方法來保留和風格化輸入影像的花紋特徵並用以強化獸面紋的裝飾,同時也能根據給定向量場的資訊擴散出符合向量流向的背景裝飾紋路。結合以上之特徵,所提出的系統可生成出一張具傳統獸面紋風格之影像,並做出可應用在東方風格之遊戲或是商標上的結果。

基於L-system之動態裝飾雲紋生成技術 / Dynamic cloud patterns generation technique based on L-system

傳統的裝飾紋路,如獸面紋和雲紋,是經過工匠藝術家將其對於自然的變化與鳥獸的形態加以抽象化,藉由這些精妙的花紋傳遞豐富的訊息,形成具有象徵意義的紋路。本論文針對傳統中國雲紋進行分析,發現其保有高度的自我相似性,以此特性為基礎,我們發現到L-system也常被運用於此類特性紋路之創建,本論文以此語法為基礎撰寫生長規則,配合parametric L-system參數化的特性,不但可以讓雲紋達到很好的多樣性,同時配合非相片寫實電腦繪圖技術強化風格效果,讓我們的結果更忠於傳統雲紋,更進一步透過具時間序列的向量場資訊影響L-system之成長,產生具東方風格之動態雲紋。 / Traditional decorative patterns, such as animal mask and cloud patterns, are the art heritage from the abstraction of the changing nature and the shape of animals. These decorative patterns are not only exquisite art, but also meaningful symbolic patterns. In this thesis, we analysis the traditional Chinese cloud patterns, and find out the structure of self-similarity in cloud pattern. In this thesis, we design the growth rules base on the grammar of L-system and the parameterization of parametric L-system. We also combine the stylized line drawing to achieve a good variety of cloud patterns, and our results are faithful to the traditional art. Furthermore, we can generate the dynamic oriental cloud patterns with a time-varying vector field to affect the growth rule.
