Kvalitetsregister för epikutantestning / Patch register

Jakobsson, David, König, Bettina January 2010 (has links)
Every year approximately<strong> </strong>3000 tests are performed in Sweden and the results are entered in a quality registry. The<strong> </strong>aim of the project was to develop a web application and a corresponding database for managing and storage of a national dermatologic quality registry (The Swedish Patch Test Register). The database will be located on a central server at the University hospital, Örebro.</p><p><strong>Methods:</strong> The solution required programming of an application for web browsers in the language C# with the help of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and the web framework ASP.NET 3.5. The .NET connector tool 6.2.2 enabled the connection between ASP.NET and the database created on the open source database server MySQL Server 5.1. Web server hosting was tested with IIS 7.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>A web application in a design equivalent to the Örebro Läns Landsting web site and with the following functionalities was created: Secure Login (https, SSL-certificate), recording of test results, managing of user accounts and eligibility, creating test series and adding new substances for allergic skin testing respectively, and a help page. The input of data was standardised by means of the calendar component and DropDownLists with pre-selected answers for test reactions, evaluation, relevance of test results and a predefined standard test system in order to reduce possible handling errors. The database includes eight tables and information is preferably stored as integer values to facilitate future statistical calculation.'</p><p><strong>Discussion: </strong>Due to a lack of license for Microsoft SQL server 2008, the project was accomplished by means of an open source solution, and has full functionality in the corresponding environment. A solution in a Microsoft SQL server 2008 environment requires certain adapting of the source code.</p>

Teknik för en flerskiktadwebbapplikation

Pettersson, Jonnie January 2008 (has links)
The report analyses if some common problems can be avoided by using modern technology. As a reference system “Fartygsrapporteringssystemet” is used. It is an n-tier web application built with modern technology at time, 2003-2004. The aim is to examine whether ASP.Net MVC, Windows Communication Foundation, Workflow Foundation and SQL Server 2005 Service Broker can be used to create an n-tier web application which also communicate with other systems and facilitate automated testing. The report describes the construction of a prototype in which the presentation layer uses ASP.Net MVC to separate presentation and business logic. Communication with the business layer is done through the Windows Communication Foundation. Hard coded processes are broken out and dealt with by Workflow Foundation. Asynchronous communication with other systems is done by using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Service Broker. The results of the analysis is that these techniques can be used to create a n-tier web application, but that ASP.Net MVC, which at present only available in a preview release, is not sufficiently developed yet.

Utläggningsrapportering i en mobil webbapplikation / Expense Reporting in a Mobile Web Application

Dal, Alexander, Norrbacka, Johannes January 2014 (has links)
This report describes the implementation of expense reporting in a mobile web application. Two different types of expenses could be reported: remuneration and time deviations. In addition to the creation of new expenses, existing expenses should be able to be edited or deleted. The implementation would be designed in such a way that it prevents the user from making data entry errors in an intuitive way.    The bachelor’s thesis was performed for Flex Datasystem AB in their mobile web application, Flex WebApp. Due to delimitations made during the project only functionality for the expense-type remuneration was implemented. Examensarbetet utfördes åt Flex Datasystem AB i deras mobila webbapplikation, Flex WebApp. P g a gjorda avgränsningar under projektets gång implementerades endast funktionalitet för utläggstypen ersättningar.

Inomhuspositionering och applikationsanalys : Sammanställning och visualisering av relevant data vid event / Indoor Positioning and Application Analytics : Compilation and Visualization of Relevant Data at Events

Nyström, Björn January 2015 (has links)
The main task of this thesis was to create a software prototype of an analysing tool that would work as a compliment to IT-Maskinens event application, which is used as a digital tool for events. The requirement for the prototype was that it would be able to identify the user, gather relevant data from a possible storage location and visualize this in an aesthetically pleasing manner.   The thesis contained two different parts, investigation and implementation. The investigation included to determine which tool that would be used for the visualization of the data, which data likeminded companies thought was important and which information that was possible to extract from IT-Maskinens event application and indoor positioning system. How the software prototype was going to be implemented was also something that was investigated, in terms of which programming environment, library and language that could meet the requirements that were set for the prototype.   The implementation part of the thesis included the creation of a software prototype in ASP.NET MVC5 and Google Chart Tools. The creation of the software prototype was created using the programming languages C#, HTML, Razor, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.

Kasselia, Paul January 2015 (has links)
Därefter utvecklades webbapplikationen inom ramverket ASP.NET MVC. / This report describes the investigation and the development of a web application that will serve as a support application for Combitech when registering their systems in a database. When component needs to be replaced or upgraded, then you should be able to produce all documents that describe the component, and systems that consist of this component. Thus theycan estimate how much impact a replacement of an upgrade of a component will be in the early stages of their work. The web application was developedfollowing an extensive investigation of the tools that would be used during the project, and an investigation of the functions of the application. The web application was then developed in the ASP. NET MVC framework.

Comparative study on performance between ASP.NET and Node.js Express for web-based calculation tools

Dalbard, Axel, Isacson, Jesper January 2021 (has links)
Calculations have been a core part of business processes in several industries throughout the years. To streamline the process of calculations, companies seek to digitize their calculation tools to web-based calculation tools. There is currently a lack of studies regarding the performance of web-based calculation tools, and since technology changes occur rapidly, which leads to comparative studies becoming outdated, the availability of actual and relevant research regarding performance comparisons between web-development frameworks becomes imperative. The purpose of this study was to compare ASP.NET with Node.js Express performance-wise, while implemented as web-based calculation tools. The calculations implemented were placed in both the backend and frontend of ASP.NET and Node.js Express. This study consists of experimentation, presenting the experiment results, and analyzing the results to conclude the research questions of this study. The results showed that Node.js Express was the better framework performance-wise and the analysis explains why. This study also concluded that the backend was better performing than the frontend for calculations in ASP.NET, and that the frontend was better performing than the backend for calculations in Node.js Express.

Investigating and Implementing a DNS Administration System

Brännström, Anders, Nilsson, Rickard January 2007 (has links)
<p>NinetechGruppen AB is an IT service providing company with about 30 employees, primarily based in Karlstad, Sweden. The company began to have problems with their DNS administration because the number of administrated domains had grown too large. A single employee was responsible for all the administration, and text editors were used for modifying the DNS configuration files directly on the name servers. This was an error prone process which also easily led to inconsistencies between the documentation and the real world.</p><p>NinetechGruppen AB decided to solve the administrative problems by incorporating a DNS administration system, either by using an existing product or by developing a new sys-tem internally. This thesis describes the process of simplifying the DNS administration procedures of NinetechGruppen AB.</p><p>Initially, an investigation was conducted where existing DNS administration tools were sought for, and evaluated against the requirements the company had on the new system.</p><p>The system was going to have a web administration interface, which was to be developed in ASP.NET 2.0 with C# as programming language. The administration interface had to run on Windows, use SQL Server 2005 as backend database server, and base access control on Active Directory. Further, the system had to be able of integrating customer handling with the domain administration, and any changes to the system information had to follow the Informa-tion Technology Infrastructure Library change management process.</p><p>The name servers were running the popular name server software BIND and ran on two different Linux distributions – Red Hat Linux 9 and SUSE Linux 10.0.</p><p>The investigation concluded that no existing system satisfied the requirements; hence a new system was to be developed, streamlined for the use at NinetechGruppen AB. A requirement specification and a functional description was created and used as the basis for the development. The finalized system satisfies all necessary requirements to some extent, and most of them are fully satisfied.</p>

Utveckling av mobilapplikation

Grennborg, Marcus, Niemeyer, Christian, Svitzer, Andreas January 2009 (has links)
<p>The company System Andersson is developing systems for controlling materials and production in industries. They want to add a new service, where parts of those systems are accessible through cell phones.</p><p>In this paper we are investigating which technology are best suited for this kind of application. And then we describe how we are developing a prototype fort this application, based upon that technology. After investigating technologies such as Java ME, Microsoft Silverlight, and web applications we settled upon building the system as a web application, customized for a mobile environment.</p><p>To build a web page which is readable by many different cell phones we use the markup-languages which are developed for cell phones. We put much effort in reading about the standards and recommendations for the mobile web, produced by the organizations W3C and OMA. It's also very important that one consider the limitations of cell phones, such as the small screens, their limited performance and their limited means of input and navigation. Finally we are very thorough in our testing on several cell phones created by different manufacturers and with different operating systems and web browsers.</p><p>On the server we are running ASP.NET, with a database using Microsoft SQL Server, since this was a request from the company. The development is made in C#.</p><p>We reach a fully operational application with the functions that the company has requested. We got functions for handling orders, changing jobs, supply management, listing employees, and more. We also got a class for generating and rendering of lists and tables for easy and customizable lists for small screens. The application has support for several users with a secure login function.</p><p>We have also created a system running as a service in Microsoft Windows, which is regularly sending messages, in the form of e-mails to the users of the mobile application. The messages contain user defined reminders, e.g. that the factory is running low on a certain material. The message system is well integrated with the rest of the system, in which one can list the active reminders, edit them or create new ones.</p><p>Overall this has been an interesting and successful project.</p>

Boggavarapu, Sravya January 1900 (has links)
Master of Science / Department of Computing and Information Sciences / Daniel Andresen / FNPRS program offers nutrition education all over the counties in Kansas. It is necessary to keep track of the budget expenses for the program, resources used and many other parameters involved in the program. There exist number of commodities and products in the process of educating people. Research is needed to determine which value-added products or processes are economically possible and what percentage of it is accepted by people. For these issues, it is very important to maintain this information in a database and generate reports accordingly. The aim of the project is to create a web interface for users to enter the program information regarding the various programs conducted by Family Nutrition Program. The various kinds of data include information about the budget for the program, information about the various collaborating agencies, various kinds of resources used, services provided, proposed equipment and travel funds etc. Users for this application are county agents who take the responsibility of conducting the program and managing their data. Creating a web interface provides a solution to facilitate the agents to manage their data more efficiently and to monitor their records on a day to day basis. It also aims for generating reports for Family Nutrition Program in order to keep a check over their advancements in the program. This project involves handling of various kinds of information such as FNP Proposals, Agent information, FNP Funds, Collaborating Agencies. Malladi, Rajavardhan January 1900 (has links)
Master of Science / Department of Computing and Information Sciences / Daniel A. Andresen / In this project I have built a web application "Recipe Search Engine Using Yummly API". This application is central information hub for the kitchen--connecting consumers with recipe ideas, ingredient lists, and cooking instructions. It will serve best for the people who uses digital tools to plan their cooking, these days almost everyone does. The various features available for users in this application are as following. Users can search for their favorite dishes. The search results contain information about ingredients list, total time needed for cooking, user's rating and cooking directions. Basic search filters are provided to filter out the search results like Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner recipes. The order of displayed results can be sorted according to ratings, total time required to prepare the dish. User can create an account and build their own favorite recipe collection by liking the recipes displayed. The liked recipes are stored into user’s account and user can view, add and delete those recipes anytime from his recipe collection. Users can use their social networking platform Facebook account credentials to log into this application or create a new account in this application. The application will communicate with the Yummly API to consume data from it. The Yummly API is largest recipe information aggregator with over one million recipes data.
