Essas mudanças envolvem, por exemplo, a remuneração das agências pela criação de peças publicitárias, pela intermediação de contratos para difusão de campanhas em veículos de mídia e pela formulação de estratégias de mercado, entre outras modalidades de geração de receitas e modos de mensuração dos resultados desses investimentos. Este estudo partiu de uma observação sobre a evolução do modelo de negócio das agências no mercado publicitário ao longo do século 20 e contextualizou alterações verificadas recentemente nesse cenário a partir do advento dos meios digitais. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa empírica, com a aplicação de um questionário, respondido por 62 representantes de agências no estado de São Paulo, com o objetivo de situar e mapear tendências em relação a suas práticas de negócio e avaliar como e até que ponto novos produtos e processos de mídia digital têm sido incorporados a suas ofertas e demandas comunicacionais. As informações obtidas apontaram resultados expressivos sobre quais serviços digitais estão sendo mais utilizados ou até mesmo terceirizados nas agências, quais são as principais mídias utilizadas, o perfil das agências mais pessimistas ou otimistas frente ao cenário digital, as deficiências operacionais e de modelagem de negócio e possíveis soluções de mercado afim de que o negócio continue tendo valor para o mercado. / In the last decades, information and communication technologies related to digital media have generated impacts on the products and processes of communication in all forms of communication, transforming the business model of advertising agency. These evaluations involve, for example, the management of actions by the creation of advertising, the intermediation of contracts for the diffusion of campaigns in media and the formulation of market strategies, among other forms of revenue generation and measurement investments. This study started from a session on the evolution of the long-term media business model for the 20th century and contextualized the perspectives in the modern setting from the advent of digital media. For that, an empirical research was carried out with the application of a questionnaire answered by 62 representatives of companies in the state of São Paulo, with the aim of situating a mapping of trends in their business practices and evaluating how and to what extent the products and Digital media processes have been incorporated into their communications offerings and demands. The information obtained showed significant results on which digital services are being used or even outsourced in the agencies, which are the main media used, the profile of the most pessimistic or optimistic agencies facing the digital, operational and business modeling deficiencies and possible market solutions in order for the business to continue to have value for the market.

在國內文化創意產業蓬勃發展之際,因外在環境的景氣不佳,讓不少廣告客戶緊縮預算,加上外商的廣告集團逐漸將市場經營重心移至中國,台灣廣告代理業似乎走到了谷底。然而,新創T公司不同於上述消極態度,認為應該改變規則,主動形塑新局面,因為外在環境愈是艱困,愈能突顯自我的存在價值,而且本土廣告業者具有機動性高與應變能力強的優勢,反而會比外商廣告集團多了自由揮灑的舞台空間,更有機會來取得廣告客戶的青睞。 本研究採用質性研究法,選擇T公司個案來呈現,因這家新創公司的經營思維與特色,在國內的廣告代理業可謂是首見,本研究的目的是對比、分析T公司與傳統廣告代理商的商業模式,進而找出兩者之間的差異處,主要是依據兩位學者Osterwalder and Pigneur (2010)所提出的商業模式圖(Business model canvas)作為研究模型。 研究結果發現,雖然T公司有著資金和技術能力等限制變數,但為了貢獻公司本身的更大價值,藉由改變服務的顧客群,來跳脫它與傳統廣告代理商間「非贏即輸」的零合競爭局勢,進而創造出互利多贏的協同合作商機,T公司選擇做與競爭者不同的事,運用策略聯盟方式,來連結廣告及行銷公司,對內採用資源整合與業務整合來傳遞行銷服務的優勢,對外組成最適化的夥伴團隊,分進合擊來開發廣告客戶的新生意。 多數的台灣廣告代理商,已面臨廣告本業的成長力道不足以因應數位洪流來臨的速度與壓力,本研究相信經營管理階層可透過商業模式創新來尋求再度演進,亦即廣告代理商需跳脫原來的核心領域與舒適圈,懂得對應數位化所引發的領導、策略、組織及人才等各方面問題,繼而創造出比廣告核心更核心的東西;本研究建議傳統廣告業者須要積極轉型、全面革新,以適應截然不同的數位思維,建立跨領域的團隊,開創出具有成長利基的新商業機會。 / Although cultural creativity industry in Taiwan is blooming, many potential advertising clients in various fields have tightened their budgets due to the economical adversity. In addition, foreign advertising communication groups have gradually shifted their marketing management focus to Mainland China, advertising agencies seem to have a serious slump. However, different from other pessimistic advertising communication groups, Agency T, a newly established advertising firm, has a more aggressive approach. Agency T believes that the slower the economy is, the more value of an advertising agency can be shown. The advantages of higher flexibility and quicker mobility than foreign agencies would have better chances to impress their potential clients more. Agency T was selected as the case study for its innovative business management philosophy and uniqueness in its industry. In this research, a business model was developed based on Business Model Canvas proposed by Osterwalder and Pigneur (2010); a qualitative analysis method was used to compare and analyze the difference between the business models of Agency T and other conventional advertising agencies. The research result has shown that although Agency T had limited resources and technical ability, by providing service to a different clientele group to create a “multi-win” cooperative business opportunity with its rivalry instead of joining “winner takes all” biddings against other conventional advertising companies, it generated a greater profit. Not only by consolidating resources and sales to deliver a message of its marketing service advantages to its clients, it also strategically allied with advertising and marketing firms to form a tailor-made team to develop new business. Most local Taiwanese advertising agencies have been facing the pressure of the growth recession in advertising demand and speed of digitalization. This research has proved that the management level executives can create new business opportunities by developing another innovative business models. In other words, advertising firms must jump out of their core field and comfort zone in addition to solving problems involving leadership, strategies, organizations and talents triggered by digitalization. This way, a core field that is “more core” than the advertising field will be developed. This research suggested conventional advertising firms ought to transform, revolutionize to adapt digitalization and to establish interdisciplinary teams to generate profitable business prospects.

En förutsättning för att kunna attrahera denna grupp är att veta vad de anser viktigt vid val av arbetsplats.</p><p>Syfte</p><p>Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka olika variabler som påverkar arbetsval hos kreativa arbetstagare, med avgränsning till dem som varit eller är anställda vid reklambyråer i Stockholm, samt att undersöka vilka variabler som skulle kunna få denna grupp att överväga att arbeta på en reklambyrå utanför Stockholm.</p><p>Metod</p><p>Undersökningen utfördes genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med tolv respondenter, vilka samtliga hade minst två års erfarenhet som strateg eller kreatör vid en reklambyrå i Stockholm samt varit tillgängliga för intervju mellan den 6 november och den 27 december 2007.</p><p>Resultat</p><p>Resultatet i utredningen beskriver målgruppens uppfattning gällande variabler som påverkar val av arbetsplats. I slutsatserna diskuteras vad utredningens resultat innebär för en reklambyrå som arbetsgivare. Utredningen visar på att det för byråer utanför Stockholm kan bli svårt att rekrytera människor som byggt upp sin karriär i Stockholmsområdet och hunnit rota sig där. Möjligheten finns dock om en byrå visar sig stark på de variabler som framkommit som viktiga för respondenterna. This is what creates value for the agency’s customer. Therefore it is of great importance for the agency to have skilled coworkers. In order to attract skilled employees it is of essence to know what these people consider to be important in the job choice decision.</p><p>Purpose</p><p>The purpose of this thesis is to survey different variables that affect the job choice decision among creative employees and to examine which variables that would make them consider working at an advertising agency outside of Stockholm. The survey was limited to people that were or are employed at advertising agencies in Stockholm.</p><p>Method The survey was conducted through semi-structured interviews. The twelve interviewees all had at least two years of experience at an advertising agency in Stockholm and were available for interview between the 6th of November and the 27th of December 2007.</p><p>Result</p><p>The result of the survey describes the perception of the interviewees on the variables that affect the job choice decision. The conclusions discuss the impact that the results have on an advertising agency as employer. The survey shows that it might be difficult for advertising agencies outside of Stockholm to recruit employees who have built up their career in the Stockholm area. There is however a possibility to succeed if an agency can prove themselves solid when it comes to the variables that the interviewees perceived as important. The following variables were the ones that obtained the highest score regarding the importance when it comes to making the interviewees considering working outside of Stockholm: Challenge in the work, economic compensation, professional development and the work tasks.</p>

Specifically in Brazilian advertising, and taking into account that professionalization in this field was articulated with the expansion and consolidation of the biggest North American publicity agencies in Latin America between the 1930s and 1960s, this research focuses on analyzing the contribution of the North American publicity agency McCann-Erickson in developing the advertising field. Assuming the hypothesis that there is a particularity in the Brazilian experience of McCann, this research demonstrates how the sociology of professions, added to the theory of construction of fields, can be applied to study of the consolidation of publicity as a unique professional community. This research also demonstrates how the historical contexts of creation of the Brazilian and the North American advertising fields intertwine with the trajectory of the agency McCann-Erickson in Brazil. Finally, this research also analyzes the mechanisms and the specific capitals operated by this agency in order to assert its dominant position in the Brazilian advertising field. / A presente dissertação tem como tema a profissionalização do campo publicitário. Em se tratando do campo publicitário brasileiro especificamente, e levando em consideração que a profissionalização desse campo esteve devidamente articulada com a expansão e consolidação das grandes agências publicitárias americanas na América Latina, entre as décadas de 1930 e 1960, a pesquisa tem como foco analisar a contribuição da agência publicitária americana McCann-Erickson para o desenvolvimento do mesmo. Partindo da hipótese de que há uma particularidade inerente à experiência brasileira da McCann, a pesquisa mostra como o aporte teórico da Sociologia das Profissões, somado à teoria de construção de campo, podem ser aplicados no estudo da consolidação da Publicidade como uma comunidade profissional única, seguido pela demonstração de como os contextos históricos de criação dos campos publicitários americano e brasileiro se entrelaçam com a trajetória da agência McCann-Erickson em solo brasileiro, e terminando com a análise dos mecanismos e capitais específicos acionados pela agência em questão para a afirmação de seu posicionamento como polo dominante dentro do campo publicitário brasileiro.

In the theoretical part is explained what is a corporate identity, which elements are included and why it is so important for companies. Then there is a definition of an image with an emphasis on its distinction from the concept of corporate identity, explained the interdependence between corporate identity and corporate strategy, and then is paid attention on advertising agencies in general. The practical part consists of a description of a particular advertising agency NIOSPORT agency, a.s., the results of empirical research, evaluation of the image of agency and finally of recommendations for the future, arising from the theoretical part, analyzing corporate documents and of the depth interviews with the director, staff and clients of advertising agency.

The thesis deals with project management in an advertising agency. It analyzes the current methodology of the agency project management, defines its weak points, and proposes a set of improvements to this methodology. This goal is achieved through analysis of the project management of the agency using the Theory of Constraints methodology and comparison with the methodologies and best practices of the project management in the industry. The first part describes the common project management methodologies, the specifics of the project management in advertising agencies and the Theory of Constraints. The second part analyzes a particular advertising agency using the Theory of Constraints and proposes a set of changes to its methodology, mostly in the area of project planning and project management. The merit and main output of the work consists of the proposed changes to the advertising agency project management methodology.

De este modo analizaremos los ejes de la publicidad digital, la evolución de las agencias publicitarias, la formación digital de educación superior y las competencias laborales. Estas nos darán claridad sobre el contexto actual de las habilidades y desempeño de publicistas de la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas en sus áreas laborales.  Los empleadores identificaran cuales son las herramientas imprescindibles las cuales un publicista debe manejar para lograr las competencias las cuales ellos valoran como necesarias para un futuro publicista de medios digitales. / The objective of this research is to identify what are the main job competencies that digital media employers’ value in future advertisers. Validate from the point of view of these advertising agency employers if the future advertisers have the required skills according to the current job market. In this way, we will analyze the axes of digital advertising, the evolution of advertising agencies, digital higher education training and job skills. Esta tese investiga como os processos de governança, as recompensas para os níveis não-diretivos – cuja investigação costuma ser negligenciada pela literatura –, e as percepções de justiça organizacional podem afetar sua efetividade. Sob a perspectiva da Teoria dos Stakeholders, ela contempla a pesquisa do stakeholder empregado a partir de abordagens qualitativas, ampliando as discussões de governança e contribuindo para sua melhor compreensão. Tendo como campo empírico o setor de agências de propaganda, o estudo buscou compreender como as pressões externas e internas influenciam suas decisões de negócios e de recompensas, e como elas afetam a percepção de justiça dos funcionários. Para tanto, foram realizados quatro estudos de casos, analisados em duas dimensões: dimensão institucional (níveis institucional e organizacional de análise) e intraorganizacional (níveis organizacional e individual de análise). Os resultados apontam que a percepção de justiça sobre as recompensas leva em conta quão justos são os demais stakeholders (organização, supervisor, controlador, pares, clientes etc.) e o grau de equidade das recompensas em relação às recompensas dos superiores, liderados e pares (dentro e fora da organização). Essas percepções de justiça organizacional impactam a efetividade da governança na medida em que estão diretamente relacionadas à confiança, ao comprometimento, aos comportamentos cooperativos e à produtividade. Do ponto de vista teórico, o trabalho contribui para melhor compreensão da temática de governança corporativa, à medida que avança no estudo das práticas de governança, contextualizando o tema no âmbito da organização e do ambiente onde está inserida. Empiricamente, contribui no avanço do uso de abordagens qualitativas de investigação do tema. / Although literature on corporate governance is robust and has been advancing continuously in several areas of knowledge, traditional academic approaches, as well as its effectiveness in the praxis, have been strongly questioned, among other reasons, by the lack of understanding about the organizational contexts. This work investigates how governance processes, rewards for non-directive levels – whose research is often neglected by literature – and how organizational justice perceptions may affect its effectiveness. In the light of Stakeholder Theory it researches the stakeholder employee using qualitative approaches, extending governance discussions and contributing to their better understanding. The study sought to understand how external and internal pressures influence their business decisions and rewards, and how they affect employees' perception of justice. The empirical field is the advertising agency sector. Four case studies were carried out, analyzed in two dimensions: institutional dimension (institutional and organizational levels of analysis) and intraorganizational (organizational and individual levels of analysis). The results show that the perception of fairness over rewards takes into account the fairness of other stakeholders (organization, supervisor, holding, co-workers, clients, etc.) and the degree of fairness of the rewards in relation to the rewards of superiors and peers (inside and outside the organization). The organizational justice perceptions impact the effectiveness of governance insofar as they are directly related to trust, commitment, cooperative behavior, and productivity. From the theoretical point of view, the work contributes to a better understanding of corporate governance, as it advances in the study of governance practices, contextualizing the theme within the organization and the environment where it is inserted. Empirically, it contributes to the advancement of the use of qualitative research approaches of the theme.
